Pretty good food and the price worked for the meal.

Our family is from Taiwan and we stopped by driving through. Loved it! Great fried rice, chicken chao mien and broccoli chicken. And yes, they have beer if you need one! Xie xie!

Classic made to order western chinese food, good price for portin sizes.

Passed through town and stopped for a quick meal. Plants in every window which was nice, but they were covered in mealy bugs! The giant fish in aquarium have tumors growing on them! First impressions were not pleasant! The food was alright, but not the best Chinese Ive ever had.

Some of the best Chinese to be had, one of the few restaurants that actually makes hot and sour soup and the best i have found in Saskatchewan yet !

Stopped in here as our original choice was closed. Huge menu. Large portions. Fast and friendly service. Delicious Wonton soup!Will definitely go back.

Ordered House Special Shanghai Noodles (shrimp, BBQ pork, chicken, broccoli, carrots, celery, bok choy, onions, etc.and dry ribs. The lady that took my order was polite and helpful, the portions were huge and the food was flavorful. Highly recommend this place.

Came across this restaurant when we’re passing thru Kindersley enroute to Calgary. The staff were accommodating and the the food was delicious! We had one of the specials and one of the Dinner for One options. Food was very affordable, we paid $12 for each! This place is great for freshly cooked family dinner or if you’re like us who’s looking for a quick lunch while passing through the city! Great experience!

Wow amazing!!! Very fresh ingredients/ vegetables used in their dishes! Very generous portions. It is a simple, quaint, clean little restaurant that i would definitely recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal it was beyond excellent!!!!( I had a cashew/vegetable dish)

This is by far the best Chinese food we have had in a very long time. Will definitely order again next time we are in Kindersley.

Quaint and amazing. vegetables in chow mein and beef and vegetables were very crisp. The whole meal was delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you Homesteader.

Service and speed was terrible. Ordered by phone at 4:10pm. Arrived 4:50pm and was told 20 minutes. Returned at 5:10pm after getting gas and still had to wait until 5:25pm to get our food. When we got it was scalding hot (a good thing I guess, but clearly they had just gotten around to making it over an hour after we ordered it). It seemed that everyone else was also waiting much longer than expected too. Someone said “you gotta add half an hour to whatever time they tell you.”Overall it was your standard western Chinese food, nothing special and exaclty what we expected. So no faults there. Truly a terrible experience for the speed of service would not order again for that reason.

We ordered chicken Chow Mein, chicken fried rice, deep fried prawns and beef and broccoli and we were pleasantly surprised!!This was probably the best Chinese food that weve ever had!!The chow mein was delicious!Ive never had it prepared like this before it was very colorful and full of vegetables, it was soo visually appealing it actually made my mouth water to look at!Hands down the best, yummiest ever

Always love coming to Kindersley and enjoying this awesome chinese restaurant. Had a great bowl of wonton soup and took home a few things for supper.

Big cities have lots of options, but small towns dont have many options. There are a couple of Chinese restaurants in Kindersley,This is the best Chinese restaurant in Kindersley.When the town was busy they had a daily buffet,Now currently only buffet is served on Sundays.In general, I recommend the Special A or Special B or If you are one person Dinner for one too.

Dont know why my husband likes this place. Every time we have ordered from here, they mess up our order and/or are missing items causing us to wait longer for our pre-ordered take out. Wonton soup without bbq pork or veg is unheard of. I could have made broth and threw in some green onions with a few wontons myself. Very disappointed for the final time, never again. Ill be openly recommending to others to make another choice if they want Chinese.

I have had Singapore Noodles all over North America - some were good, some were bad, and I rate a Chinese Restaurant by how well they can make this dish.The ones I had today at The Homesteader were the best Ive ever eaten. - bar none.Large, plump chunks of tender chicken, plenty of shrimp, and the BBQ pork slices were excellent.Definitely recommend this dish and restaurant for its Chinese Food.Huge portions, reasonable prices, cant beat the overall value.

Good portions for the price. Friendly service, family restaurant. Reasonably clean and maintained, good variety of Chinese food. Parking is a little tight in front, advisable to park on street if you have a truck.

Best Chinese food in town! Ordered special Shanghai noodles, sweet & sour pork, ginger beef, Cantonese chow mein and honey garlic ribs, they were HUGE portions!! Delicious food, fast service and friendly server!

Local Chinese Food. However everything was over cooked and salty. Protip:. The lemon chicken is not really prepared as such. You get deep fried chicken breast and a cup of sticky lemon sauce to pour on yourself.

2nd time here in a week. Absolutely great food, generous portions and easy on the wallet. Eat here, you wont be disappointed !!!! Try the wonton soup, homemade and unbelievable taste!!!!!!

We were looking for the other Chinese food place in town the red something or other when we thought it was here by mistake. The other restaurant is further down Main Street. Anyways I ordered the food (takeoutand it wasnt too bad with a large volume of food included in the reasonable price. My wife enjoyed the broth for the wonton soup and I liked the ginger beef. The only negative words I paid for two hot sauces and when I got back to the hotel there was none there and only two little packs of soy sauce.

It took an hour and ten minutes for a take out order. They didnt look that busy and only 3 other people were getting take out and 3 other customers in the restaurant. We waited in the restaurant for our order to go. We were not offered a drink.

The chicken balls! I think they had more chicken breast in the things than batter. Gotta be a first as most places go crazy on batter to likely keep their costs down. Their sweet & sour sauce is pretty great even though I am not usually a fan.
