Fantastic place

I went in to find a gift for a friend of mine, & the staff were all lovely & so helpful. There was so much to choose from; however, it was super organized & the staff was very knowledgeable! Such an amazing locally owned business.

“A out of Country atmosphere that will leave you relaxed and breathless”On Friday, June 24, I was caught in the storming weather outside. Going to find cover form the rain, I decided to come to the olive tap. When I walked in, I was greeted with open smiles and a very friendly atmosphere even when I was dripping wet. Lol. The people who work here made my day truly.When I was told it was also a restaurant, as well as a place to taste difference oils and vinegars, I decided to give it a try. I had a “cinnamon and apple Hot cider” for a drink what was to die for. It was calming and very Pleasant to have. For something to eat, I had a ham and cheddar melt. That was also pleasing to eat. Let me tell you, the food and drink here is wonderful! And the Service is something special. Can I also say, it be a great place for a date?Come try it out, and see for your self. You may just be transported to another Country.

Super cool place with very unique products & recipes. Their products are quite expensive by volume (hence the removal of 1 star), but their product quality is top notch. Classy place, neat atmosphere, great products. Will definitely shop here more often.

A new found love for this local store. Great oils to choose from, large variety. Staff friendly, and will to answer all our questions. Highly recommended for experienced and new kitchen enthusiasts :)

A long overdue review worth sharing. Kinda frustrating how there is only 5 stars when you want to leave 6 LOL.I have been in this little family run business a few times. I love having a plethora of flavoured oils for cooking. It’s impossible to cook a boring meal with a cupboard full of Olive Tap goodies

Purchased some of their infused Olive Oil for a gift. We gave tried many of them and they are all delicious. Their fresh baked foccacia bread is outstanding! Great service, helpful staff and excellent products.

Love this shop, and I feel so lucky its located in our beautiful Downtown! The staff are friendly and always avaiable to help; the oil and vinegar selection is awesome and the food delicious! Great for gift ideas and just personal use! All around 10/10!

So happy with our experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were given many options and ideas as well as encouraged to sample before we bought, and they did not try to push us in to buying anything. I highly recommend The Hats Olive Tap!

Service was nice and very polite. Our lunches were not the best. My Brazilian stew was basically a pile mush, peppers and huge chunks of onions. His was very dry. The waitress was very kind and asked how the first few bites were.... ì unfourtunetly was trying not to gag at the time so I didnt get to correct the issue.

Best EVOOs ever! Truffle oils are amazing, all the balsamics are DELICIOUS and their lunch menu items are phenomenal. I love supporting this business, oh and they reuse bottles and give you a discount... Oh and!!! The staff are fantastic 🥰

This store is incredible. They let you sample before you buy. So many different ones to choose from. Definitely worth going in just to see all of the different oils.

Lots of flavor combos to choose from! And friendly staff to help you find what youre looking for and make recommendations. Its definitely more on the pricey end but thats what you get for quality and a local business. Their lunch specials always look so amazing too 😊

My first time here and it was delicious! Maybe the best borscht Ive ever had with a piece of focaccia bread that was unreal fresh and tasty. Ill definitely be back!!

A couple friends and I came here for lunch. While I had been before when friends were getting refills, I hadnt really had a chance to take it all in. We ordered our meals then went about sampling a few of the oils and balsamic vinegars. It was very enlightening. Our food didnt take overly long, but wasnt quick either, about what youd expect when its all prepared fresh. The price was very reasonable and Im glad to see they use local ingredients. I will definitely return.

The Olive Tap is absolutely amazing. So many different flavours, endless possibilities for yummy healthy cooking, and super high quality. Carmen is so friendly and knowledgeable, she will definitely have you coming back again and again!!!

This is such a fabulous little store! All of the options available for sale not to mention the food menu sounded superb. The lady working there was so very helpful which was really appreciated as I didnt have a clue! I cant wait to be able to try my purchases in a meal!

This is an interesting specialty store of olive oils and vinegars. I was welcomed at the door and given a tour that included taste tests of oil vinegar mixtures. They do this for every first timer as long as it isnt too busy. They have a chef, but I havent tried the food yet. Its a really neat atmosphere there.

This is a real gem for anyone looking to find high quality olive oil and balsamic vinegars. Their inventory of infused oils is second to none, and is combined with a large selection of balsamics. Selection of straight extra virgin was limited at the time of our visit, but they were expecting a large delivery the next day. Staff is very knowledgeable and able to assist with making a choice. Location is easy to get to in downtown Medicine Hat. Highly recommend a visit.

The tour is absolutely fun, interesting and delicious! Great atmosphere and really great, welcoming décor. The selection of oils, vinegar, food runs and makeilup is top knotch!
