The food was nice but nothing special. The fish my wife had was obviously a birds eye type ready battered frozen one. This was very dry.The seating area needs attention. A double fridge was on the dining room floor. Inside window sill covered in something resembling mice droppings. Damp patches on the walls. The staff were very welcoming. Surprised there was only our party in the restuarant at 7pm on a Sunday. No one else came in whilst we were there. Overall it was grubby but friendly. I wouldnt go there again unless it had a complete makeover.

Last time I had a pint here we were all in masks, its so to feel were getting back to normality.Lovely place with a garden area out the back with plenty of seating. The bar staff were very nice and chatty. They also do pizza which is a bonus 🙂

Headed here Bank Holiday Monday on our canal holiday. Staff were very accommodating to the 9 of us. One meal was wrong and the management refunded straight away which was unexpected. Nice small traditional pub with a treasure of a garden! X

a pub that is not part of the chain in any way, the bar is full of great drinks not run of the mill stuff, if you interact with the pub it will reward you ask the staff about what they have on they seem to want you to have a good time not just sell you stuff. make sure you eat the steak the menus look a bit shabby not so the food, in fact when we were there most people seemed to know what they wanted a sign that they come here often. steak was cooked just the way i like it and good veg and the best chips which were so hot, again ask about wine or desserts, clean toilets, free wifi a pub i would love at the end of my road

Amazing burgers today! The burger itself was moist and tender, and the bacon was the tastiest I have had in a long time. Fun to be able to choose all the 5 components, and all 3 of us enjoyed it. Service as friendly as ever, handy bike racks just increase the ease and convenience of popping in. The pizzas are great too, and theres always a good selection of proper beers and ciders.

Very good cycle friendly pub. Stopped for a warm up cup of tea after having a puncture and getting cold. Very friendly and helpful landlord who helped with directions and offered track quality pump to get tyres back up to pressure. Pump and cycle tools always available if you need. 🚴👍

Probably the best real ale pub in Long Itchington out of the 6 pubs in the village (yes sixthough is suffering from the decline of pub usage and the fact there are 5 more pubs!Beers are always good and the staff know about quality but dont be surprised if its you and an old bloke with his dog are the only ones there.I ate there once, think it was a horse steak (which actually was good as a horse steak, terrible if it was beef), likely not again.Big beer garden has potential and great in the summer, but looks ramshackle and disorganised, but they know their beers!
