Brookshill, Old Redding, Harrow, Harrow Weald HA3 6SD, Mumbai
Early 19th-century building housing a contemporary gastropub with separate lunch and dinner menus.
Nice establishment, Roast was bit disappointing beef was lovely but wafer thin, portion sizes are small and for £18.95. Staff were fantastic thou.
Absolutely fabulous meal. We were in a group of 13 & the waiting staff (Surazit in particularwere attentive & helpful. Would highly recommend & we will return. Thank-you for a great evening.
The staff are brilliant and the food of the highest standard. So good I went back the next day! Congratulations to the Manager Isabella and her team in particular Surajit Ghosh, but to be honest they were all attentive and friendly.
Delicious food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Every single element was scrumptious by itself but put together make a fantastic meal.Well seasoned. Service with a smile and nothing was too little. We will be back and can not wait.
Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant interior. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.Burger was very good. No complaints on the beef or fish curry. The rump steak was a little tough and the chips were too salty for me.Still plan to return and try other menu options.
What an amazing Experience. Our purpose was to celebrate a family birthday but due to our dog suffering from a health condition and no longer being able to be left alone. We found such a welcoming and loving team for our Vizsla Neo. The food was unbelievable and the staff made such a fuss of him. We loved everything we had from the extensive menu.Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Didnt like menu seems to be continental one also didnt like that they wanted to withhold my credit card an retain it until you left l think it was because people eating food then nipping out of the garden entrance with out paying because it lead to carpark, all they should have done was close off the garden exit into carpark and then they wouldnt need to hold your credit card
Really lovely outdoor seating area in the sun. Foods pretty good and gluten free options have improved massively since I started going here. Great atmosphere for food or drinks.
Nice food but not enough of it. Small portions & expensive so not value for money. Probably will not be going back.
Service was a bit slow and some of the meals, e.g burger are a bit lacklustre in terms of value for money. Not child friendly
An unplanned visit but so happy we went here; excellent food, amazing staff, and a fantastic pub, inside and out. Would highly recommend!
The Hare has always been one of our family favourites. Today we went to celebrate my Dad’s 64th birthday with our new baby and dog. Amazing service, staff made the evening feel really special. Food and drinks were fantastic as always. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Outstanding food quality, very tasty and fresh. Price is good when used as a meal deal of multiple courses otherwise would be quite pricey.
Great filet steak cooked to perfection and a Pistachio Soufflé to die for. Very attentive staff. Lovely to sit in the garden on a summers evening.
A nice place to meet up with friends, eat and drink. Food was lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be returning.
Lovely, lovely food, staff were excellent with my 2 year old to keep her entertained
The Hare in Old Redding, Stanmore has been a local favourite of ours ever since it opened, when a lovely old but tired pub was transformed back to life again and is now a landmark location.Indeed, the recent renovations both indoors and to the landscaped garden areas have made it an even more attractive daytime or evening venue. In fact, but weve been there 4 times over the last 9 days with friends, family & grandkids or just my wife and I (plus Miloto enjoy yummy food, a chilled out relaxing atmosphere and exceptional service.Marcello the welcoming and attentive manager who is so passionate about his role and his eager young team always strive to go the extra mile to accommodate everyone and they provide terrific and attentive hospitality (Merci to Angela for her massive smile and also to Callum and Ashane). We hope that Beef Bourgignon and other key French classics will return again with the autumn seasonal menu, as it is this distinctly French twist that clearly sets White Brasserie far above other gastro pubs… Et Voilà!
Absolutely amazing time. Went for a birthday dinner and the service couldnt have been better. Thoroughly enjoyed the time and would recommend it in a heartbeat
Excellent menu and value for money. Lovely garden to enjoy the nice weather in. Part of a chain of pubs which never dissappoint.
We had a really lovely meal at The Hare last night for our daughters 30th birthday. There were 12 of us in the Snug Room & it worked really well. Aaron was such a big help in the organisation of it all & very accommodating. Would highly recommend this lovely place.
My wife and I visited the pub/restaurant The Hare, Old Redding in Harrow. We had not booked a table so went in and asked the individual (man with glassesfor a table. He told us that all the tables were booked though he could offer a table for two at the entrance door. We asked if anything was available outside and without checking he refused.Just ahead of us two WHITE male asked the same person for table outside. He offered them a table outside but asked for tab to be opened with their credit card. The two individuals refused to open the tab so he asked them to pick any free table inside. The two individuals walked out soon after us so I asked them why they walked out. They said that they did not like the attitude of the individual in the restaurant (man with glasses).I then went in and told the man in the restaurant that he was racist and discriminated against coloured people. The waitresses outside at the entrance of the restaurant were very nice and asked me if everything was ok as I was walking out.I would suggest to any NON WHITE person to refrain from visiting this bar/restaurant.
Super lunch on sunday 17 July. Service was excellent, which is unusual these days. Andrea our waitress was delightful and even came over to say goodbye when she was going on her break, The General Manager was extremely welcoming and the food delicious. There was plenty of seating outside and with shade and we will definitely be returning soon.
Sasha served us and she was amazing! She made our experience there fantastic. Exceptional service, great food and lovely atmosphere. Thank you Sasha for a great time. We will definitely be back and hope you’re serving us. Look forward to seeing you again. Highly recommend
Steak Night is excellent. Not quite as yummy tonight as the previous time. But probably says more about what comes from the butcher than the chefs. Friendly staff. Also some place where you.can interact with other guests .... sitting in the garden at least. Lovely mix of families withe children, dogs and others of all ages.
Lovely pub with a lovely garden, good food, good selection of pints, its just the service are letting them down. Non professional is a gently way of putting it, but in all honesty, managers and staff atitude on this occasion absolutely disgusting. Better service in the Laurel, seriously. For the prices they practice they better have a look at some whole house training.
What a fabulous find on our way home. A last minute booking for a Sunday Roast. Staff very welcoming and seated straight away. Food came faster than the drinks and the Roast Beef was cooked perfectly. Living within 45 minutes on this beautiful restaurant will definitely be back for another Sunday roast soon. Highly recommended
Delicious food, excellent service and great drinks. A very, very good meal, thoroughly enjoyed by all the family.
Had an amazing Sunday Lunch at The Hare. Excellent service and amazing food. Overall ambiance was so friendly. Will definitely be coming back again and recommending to friends. Thanks
We hadnt, pre-booked, but finding "The Case is Altered" pub had closed, 6 of us went on to "The Hare" on 16th. June 2022 and were made to feel Very welcome and had lovely meals . Thanks to all the staff for making it a lovely occasion , after our earlier experience. _/_/_/
Lovely picturesque garden with convenient parking. However on the day, was let down by slow drinks service, having to wait 30 mins+ for each drink ordered on the app (specifically only beer and soda/lime). Hope to revisit in future with some faster service, where Id be happy to increase the stars.
Good food .. French style.. smallish portions exquisitely prepared.. bit pricey. Popular locale with outside seating too.
They are trying to upgrade but still have a lot to do, the food was mostly good. Definitely some improvements needed there. Seem to be a lot of staff, perhaps too many as service is unpredictable.
Good quality food and drink with friendly service, was busy for lunch on a standard Wednesday so would advise booking. Garden nice too. Parking available as well.
Lovely pub with great food. Atmosphere was relaxed and staff always happy to help. In particular Nirja was polite, professional and attentive - an employee to be proud of!
Little bit over priced on drink havent tasted food but the place indoor and out door is amazing with heating facility outside with every table.
Excellent menu, really lovely service and its a lovely pub. Warm and lots of nice areas to relax in.It was quiet when we arrived and we had not booked so there was initially reluctance. I assured them we wont be there too long as we had other engagements.By the time our food was served, the pub was heaving. It was so busy that I could understand their initial reluctance about entertaining walk-ins.I guess we were lucky to be there just ahead of the rush hour.We had a soufflé for starter and a soufflé for desert but the king was the Sunday Roast in-between.The soufflé were delectable. Both the savoury and sweet were fantastic.
TERRIBLE ATTITUDE OF WAITRESSES!!!!Having been here many times(just for drinksinvited few friends along but the Body language, tone of. Voice of the waitresses was very unpleasant. We ordered few vegetarian starters ( limited choiceand drinks but felt like they didn’t like the fact that we didn’t order any mains-‘ is that all for four of you’ with a tone in the voice. They made us so uncomfortable that we had to leave and go to the next door pub to continue enjoying our drinks
George and I enjoyed a very happy visit to The Hare yesterday. From the welcome right through to the delightful staff who looked after us and the whole meal which was delicious, we couldnt have asked for more. We did miss just one thing...someone who used to be a Manager there...called Carl.He was always so pleasant and accommodating...he was missed! However, we will continue enjoying The Hare...the environment, the very pleasant staff and not forgetting the excellent food. Compliments to the chef x pauline
I really like this place. Great and varied menu, cooked and presented well. Nice atmosphere, staff attentive and friendly. My sister and I popped in on a Tuesday night on our way home after a longish drive, completely spontaneously, and were not turned away even with no booking. There were staff shortages we later found out, but they still took the time to welcome us. The wine list is extensive with several favourites on it. I really enjoy our meals there: woul recommend you try it, not too pricey either.
Absolutely love this place. Foods fantastic, service is wonderful and the atmosphere is just right!Very popular, especially on a Sunday so do call and book in advance! They always pick up the phone and are helpful
Superb ambience, easy parking, super helpful staff, quick service and the food is amazing top quality with great presentation…
Very nice food and good value. It was very busy on our visit and service was a little on the laid back side. This is not a negative criticism because there is no way to know the staffing situation and it is an observation. The servers were all warm and friendly and ultimately I wouldnt hesitate to recommend or return.Thank you for a nice experience.
Beautiful pub with really considerate staff and nice atmosphere. We went here on a saturday afternoon for my aunties birthday (group of 8and really enjoyed the tasty food and relaxed environment. The staff were attentive and polite and the pub was very welcoming to our golden retriever (he even met some new friends!). At one point, we had a big spillage on our table and the staff were on it in a flash and kindly replaced the affected dish. Very generous and understanding for them to do so. Thanks for a great experience. Highly recommend.
Food was really yummy, majority of the staff super lovely. The most beautiful area in my opinion was not open so we were unable to sit there, but in general all really good :)
Beautiful venue! Newly refurbished with hanging greenery and cute additions of the outdoor dining huts. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and food is excellent! Had the Malabar Fish Curry which was delicious and the perfect balance of elements in the dish.
Really nice country feel with plenty of free parking Just outside of London The property is lovely modern Lovely garden really nice place to sit out and relax The menu is Great well priced With some interesting Food They also have real ale The staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome Would definitely return Its the kind of place You could spend the whole evening With family is the weather was good a lovely place to sit outside I have an excellent selection of wines At reasonable prices
The Steak Frites and Meantime Ale were just perfect. Nice atmosphere, spacious and friendly staff. Well deserved 5 stars, recommended 👍
Fantastic food and service. Lots of care and attention on the food. Pricier than others nearby but the quality of food is right up there. On par with nice restaurants in town. Will be back for sure.
Beautiful garden and great terrace. Good place for dinner and drink. Friendly and professional staff. Free parking and wheelchairs people are welcome as well. Childrens can have some books to reading and little bit variety of choices.Definitely I will recommend to come once and you will never stop to back.
Nice pub with friendly staff. The menu advises that its based in French cuisine, and is appetising, with plenty of options. As on the last visit, some items were off the menu, in this case the Chateaubriand, though everyone seemed pleased with their choices in the end. I selected the mushrooms on sourdough toast to start, these were lovely, with a just-cooked poached egg oozing out - all very nicely gauged. My main of ch was pricey, but very good. Dessert was a little off the mark; a Normandy apple tart which to me hadnt worked; it seemed undercooked (though it looked niceresulting in flavours of apple omelette! Colleagues very much enjoyed their dishes, such as venison casserole, rump steak, and pork. All in all, a very enjoyable evening and its a pub well come back to.lightly-smoked grilled salmon fillet, was delicious, but was a very small portion indeed. Nicely cooked, though the skin wasnt quite crisped which seemed the intention. Side of green beans was fine (had been buttered - how often is this missed these days!?), and the chips were excellent, really super-crispy and lovely. I drank a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon which was pricey, but very good. Dessert was a little off the mark; a Normandy apple tart which to me hadnt worked; it seemed undercooked (though it looked niceresulting in flavours of apple omelette! Colleagues very much enjoyed their dishes, such as venison casserole, rump steak, and pork. All in all, a very enjoyable evening and its a pub well come back to.
