I booked a half day whale watching tour with this company online. The title was "Half Day Whale Watching Samana in Catamaran-Morning". I showed up at the meeting point at 9am when the tour is supposed to start, and there said to wait 20 minutes. We ended up waiting a FULL HOUR before the boat took off. In the meantime we were encouraged to get coffee and breakfast from the restaurant that clearly has ties with the owner. The boat itself turned out not to be a catamaran at all. When I complained there was only a shrug.We did half an hour only of whale watching and now were headed to an island for others on the boat to tour. I did not want this island tour but I have to go to get a ride back.So in total I paid $258 USD for 2 adults and 2 kids to do 30 mins of whale watching when it was supposed to be a half day trip. Total rip off. Do not recommend.
