Good steak , the service is ups and downs. For sure they care more about foreigners than Egyptians.

I celebrated my husband’s birthday in The Grill. The service, waiters, food and everything was 10/10! Mr Ahmed Sedky along with the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful while I was making the reservation and even in the restaurant. Our first time but definitely not our last time!

Absolutely loved this place! My husband and I went here for dinner on July 12th during our honeymoon because a friend we made at a nearby hotel recommended and we are so glad they did! They sat us right in front of the huge window with a beautiful view of the Nile River at a quiet table where we could talk and enjoy each other’s company. The food was outstanding and the steak was prepared perfectly! The service and staff was amazing and so kind to us. I wish I remembered our servers name, I lost where I wrote it down. But he was friendly, professional, and took great care of us. One of the other staff members was kind enough to take some fun pictures of us on the way out. It adds so much to the experience having a friendly staff ☺️ we had a wonderful date night here on every level and highly recommend!

We ordered the Ribeye and undoubtedly the best steak from all aspects, including quality and the way they grill. Our reservation was for 9 pm and of course being Egyptian we were late an hour and they were extremely kind and welcoming and did not mind the tardiness. After their Wagyu ribeye steak, I have not stopped thinking about when we are going to be going back. And the views were amazing over the nile river, perfect for a romantic night out with your loved one.

By far the best steak in Cairo. Nowhere else is comparable. And Ive done my research on this :D

My Anniversary was made by my Husband in this Hotel, and I was extremely happy with the Waiter and Supervisor Hospitality. Wish everyone is like them, the waiter name is Ahmed and he deserve 5 Stars on what he did to us today.

We had the best experience there 😍We stayed in the hotel and celebrated our 1 month of being married. I mentioned it briefly when we checked the place beforehand and at our arrival they had surprised us with beautiful romantic table decorations… that was so so kind ❤️We had the salmon starter which was good but the two mains ( salmon and sea basswere just fantastic … best food I had in Cairo. Lava cake was amazing too. Views are gorgeous, waiters super attentive and kind, super mood, loved the music and very chic interior.Yes, prices are somewhat higher than in other places but it’s totally worth it - I highly recommend !! ❤️

My wife and I have been eating here for years now. They make the best Foie gras, and the beef filet with duck liver is out of this world.It’s so romantic and they made us an incredible chocolate fondue for my birthday. The restaurant was inside the Samir Amis hotel, at the 3rd floor. And I must admit that the view was very nice, a lovely yellow romantic candle lighting infused with the deep blue color from the Nile view, what a beautiful view! The atmosphere was very calming, the hygiene level was perfect, the service was very good! The waiters were very friendly not only towards the foreigners (as the place was crowded with foreignersbut also to us Egyptians. However, if you are going there for nice dinner/lunch the food was (at least for my tastenot that good at all, I ordered one smoked salmon and chicken stuffed with caramelized onion for my fiancé (I forgot the plates name I am sorryand I tasted both and both were very bad to my taste (I thought I ate boiled food!I couldnt taste any smokiness to the salmon however the sauce underneath the salmon was tasty, I must point out that I am not used to eat French food before! Maybe this is how it tastes (but compared to our Egyptian taste I didnt like the food at allthe quantity of food was actually very good and fulfilling, the prices (as predicted from a fancy restaurant inside an hotelwere acceptable (maybe slightly highbut for the service and the view it were acceptable.

Took my wife here for her birthday dinner and was extremely happy. The staff was so polite and attentive to you. We started off with the scallops and the shrimp appetizers and they were delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, and personally I didnt use the sauce that was offered with it ( I feel a good steak doesnt need anything except salt and pepper). Thank you to the chef and waiters who made our night amazing 😍🤩

One of the best dinner experiences I ever had!! The waiters are professional and very friendly. I was lucky to meet the chef who absolutely cooks the best exotic meals! They also usually have really nice live music whether it is on a piano or a harp. Love the place

The restaurant offers stunning views of the illuminated Nile riverbank, a classicly styled interior, and yummy steaks. Food presentation is also classic but playful at times. Absolute recommendation!

It is remarkably serene and luxurious. Various options on their menu that suit everyone. Food and drinks were well-served; their staff are very polite and friendly.If you’re vegetarian I’d recommend that you try their sautéed spinach and their pasta.They also have a talented pianist who plays great pieces.Last but not least, their view is magnificent.I spent a great night there.

Every single detail about this restaurant is more than perfect!The Nile view is amazing and the place is so romantic. It’s perfect for a date.We tried many dishes and they were all super tasty. We tried the stuffed calamari, the grill Caesar salad, the pan fried salmon and the mushroom risotto.They have a good collection of wines too which was so good as well.The staff were so welcoming and super professional.

Once you arrive you will find the friendly staff welcoming and make you feel comfort and familiar with place. They are very helpful and all of them keen to serve you and treat you like VIP. The view is Amazing the Nile with amazing lights reflictions on its surface. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant. They have variety of good drinks. The food is tremendously delicious and fresh specially the meat was of superior quality and precisely cooked.

Our experience at The Grill was outstanding. The location is at the stunning Intercontinental Semiramis, and the atmosphere of both the hotel and the restaurant are luxurious yet welcoming.We ordered a selected few dishes on the menu, including the Garden Salad, the Onion soup, the fillet with a sides of risotto and potato gratin. We also had some red wine. For dessert we had the chocolate fondant.Every single one of our orders was incredible. Dining with the views of downtown Cairo made the evening even more special. It is ideal for date night or a romantic evening (they set roses all over our table for that added romantic touch).The staff is excellent too. Made for an overall incredible experience.

Superb restaurant and food quality I ordered Angus rib eye and my wife ordered seafood plate. The cooking was exactly as I ordered "medium rare" the staff are very efficient and polite they gave us more than complementary item. The musice was soft and the pianist was professional. The Nile view is fantastic. I liked the experience alt. Sure to visit again.

We enjoyed our marriage anniversary , the food was perfect , the view was wonderful , the service more than perfect . Prices expensive but it worth .

The steak is pretty good. Especially the filet. The truffle mac n cheese was really nice. Of course the restaurant is very expensive. You can expect to spend around 1500 EGP for two people. The head waiter is really nice. Perhaps a bit too friendly for my taste.

The place has a very good ambience. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our dinner especially having the wagyu beef. Would def come back and recommend to friends and colleagues.

This is the best restaurant in Egypt i have been to so far. With a breath taking Nile view, the most lovely staff serving you, the fantastic high-class place and the super delicious food. I believe this is one of the best spots you should go to for a date or for a very special occasion. You would never regret that.Thanks a lot to the great stuff that was serving us. You are the best!TIPS: go there with an uber/taxi. Parking fee is very expensive in the hotel.
