Doesn’t have the appearance of a museum- hence the name Green House, but it’s well worth a visit!! A small but very emotional and educational exhibition ! We spent about two hours in there- plenty of informative literature.

This is a small, but hugely relevant exhibition. In itself, its datedness and its old-fashioned pedagogical approach this shows the rampant neglect of Jewish history and the history of the German occupation in contemporary Lithuanian culture of memory. But there is hope under the roof. A young and dedicated Austrian volunteer is trying something new. See for yourself.

Zeer interessant, ook daar is veel gebeurd, ongelooflijk. Jan Zwartendijk heeft veel mensen gered. Er zijn weinig mensen die dit weten. Hij opereerde vanuit Kaunas ( Litouwen). Een HELD was die man.

Really good representation of victims of the holocaust and in particular one family who escaped the hell of the times so many times only to become a victim later. Sad but well told story across the house. Great staff as well.

A MUST VISIT for everybody who visit Vilnius. Do not miss this museum and especially not the film about the boy in the ghetto. Informative and shaking facts about the holocaust in Lithuania. Why is there not more information about this museum in Vilnius? Go there if you visit Vilnius!
