The Green Affair - Vegan restaurant in Belas, Portugal
Tasty food with food service. I really liked the place. So comfortable, clean and people are so kind. As a person who suffer from finding vegetarian places in Lisbon, I would definitely prefer here again.
The food was amazing. Great choices of wine or cocktails. Nice desert selection. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. 5+ stars!
Good food and friendly staff. Warm atmosphere.
The service seemed like they just opened for the first time and everyone was scrambling. We received the incorrect order not once, but twice. I received a dirty cup and the food was bland. I wouldnt recommend visiting this restaurant, there are better vegan options in Lisbon.
Great place for a vegetarian/vegan meal. Best chocolate cake I have had in a long time! Very attentive and helpful staff. Modern interiors - comfortable and warm. Easy for me to enjoy my meal here, also when on my own
Stopped for a quick lunch, loved all parts of it.Amazing service by Pedro, and so so many recommendations. We tried the katsu curry and cauliflower wings. This place has just nailed deep frying stuff. If this is your thing, do stop by.Interesting cocktails on the menu too, we enjoyed a stiff caipirinha 🍸
Awsome food with the nicest service! If you are looking for good vegan food this is the place. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were truly memorable.
Vegan restaurant in a chilled, relaxed environment. Nice food and fantastic service!
Friendly, knowledgeable and professional stuff. Food is super delicious. Pesto pasta is definitely a winner. One more amazing fact: they don’t use plastic cutlery for take out orders. 😍
Amazing food and really cute place. The mushroom risotto is from another world!! 😍The only critique is that they seem to not catter to celiacs. A friend of mine is a celiac and she was truly sad to not be able to go, as they don’t assure cross contamination with some gluten. Something to think about for the future Green Affair!! We wanna be all inclusive, don’t we? 🙃
Green Affair has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened a few years ago. The menu has many great options and the space is nice and comfortable. A must for anyone who likes vegan food!
Nice place. the food was amazing and the staff was so nice and helpful with recommodations.Their have some traditional Interpretations of portugease meals. Ordered Just Starters (vegan ceviche and Melon tartarand a desert. The coconut crumble ist to die for.A very pleasing place 🥰
I went to two different locations and the food came out very fast and very fresh!!! Everything was so full of flavor. I think the Tofu "Salmon" was my favorite out of everything. I really like how the restaurant was set up. Very romantic date night type of vibe.
Wow, this place will blow your mind! My girlfriend had the Seitan and I had the Quinoa bowl, it was a refreshing experience! We had the gyosa as appetiser, it was a bit oily! The service is very good
I had a very nice katsu curry (the tofu was particularly deliciousand the cup cheesecake as dessert. The menu had quite a range of dishes, I am curious to try some of them in the future. Service was good, and the outdoor seating area was nice as well.
Unfortunately the service at this restaurant has gotten a lot worse. This was one of my all time favourites in Lisbon (for a very long timebut I came back on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was half empty and it really disappointed. They just didnt have enough staff to go around. When you get to a point in a restaurant where you have to wait a long time to get a glass of wine and youll have to keep reminding the waiter about your order...waving at them every 5 min you know somethings wrong...Food was good but the service was appalling on this occasion!
Booked via The Fork (highly recommend), had an amazing meal in a very nice place with extremely nice and competent staff.Paid 10€60 for a main course with extras and the homemade mocktail, everything tasted very nice.
Visited this place because the AO26 was already to full. Positive points: the staff was very nice and accommodating. Also the ambiente/atmosphere was really attractive, but only for the front part, the bank part not so much. The food on the other hand was only mediocre. The burger was not good at all, very small patty and way too overpriced. With exception of the Gyoza and the focaccia, everything else was okay, but not a special gourmet experience.
Really lovely food and staff, went here a few times and were never disappointed! If youre used to british sweet potato fries though be prepared for something a little different - they were nice, just not as squishy!
I cannot understand how this restaurant has such good reviews. Maybe we had a bad day at the restaurant or our expectations of a good meal is too high. Premade, stale, and recycled. I cannot recommend it to anyone. Sorry guys but I believe you can do much better in quality and taste.
Delicious food. Care was taken to keep vegetarian food interesting.
Outstanding vegan experience in Lisbon. The quality of the dishes is unparalleled, the venue is chic and the staff is very professional. If I could, I‘d want this restaurant in every city I visit. Definitely recommend!
The place is very nice and the service is good. But unfortunately food looks better than it tastes. It is ok, but lacks some more interesting flavor. We had katsu curry and risotto. Also juice and ice tea are a bit too watery and not sweet enough for our tastes.
Great atmosphere and the food was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful and gave us very honest tips about food choices. The only criticisms would be the price, but considering the area it is not far off from the norm around here, and the desserts which werent great, but they werent awful either. We had 4 different dishes and they were all very tasty and a very good portion.I would definitely go back, but would avoid ordering dessert.
Everything was delicious!I ordered the seitan beef and my friend ordered the linguini pasta with pesto, a juice of the day and a cocktail; dumplings as entries (also very tasty); and apple crumble (or something like that, I am not sure about the name anymorefor desert. I recommend the place.
Amazing vegan dishes, I loved it so much! And the place is so instagramish 😄
The food is good quantity quality and price. The space is cosy and very well decorated. Employees are super nice and helpful. There is an outside area and they have also Wi-Fi. Bathrooms were clean and proper. They have also menu of the day cheaper and different depending on the day of the week. I recommend it
Wonderful outdoor seating with shade coverage and a breeze. The service was so friendly and the food both beautiful and scrumptious.
Nice looking place with good vegan options. The staf is very friendly and genuine :)We had the pesto pasta and the onion ring burger which were both nice, but didnt blow us away. The fries tasted great! But keep in mind you get NO SAUCE. If you want to order the "extra sauce" (e.g. just "sauce"it is 1 euro for the most ridiculously SMALL amount I have seen. Wanted to give 2 stars off but honestly its a great place, they just have to fix the infuriating sauce situation 😁.
The food there looks better than it tastes. Not bad, but nothing special. Also, there was a mole there flying. The waitress was very nice though.
Amazing experience!Very helpful and kind staff! So far the best Vegan restaurant Ive been to 🌱💚
Delicious vegan food. Unlike many other vegan restaurants in Lisbon, they fry well food. French fries are the best Ive ever tried in the entire life . Nice atmosphere and quite cheap. Highly recommend.
We came here tonight and the food was delicious. Our dishes were amazing! The spinach croquettes were very tasty and the Portuguese style dishes were a huge hit! The staff were lovely too! Right by the metro so was easy to get to and find.
Very good service, nice menu tasty food. However was lacking a bit of the “surprise” part. Would still come back to try other dishes, recommended
The vegan food is amazing in taste and beautiful on the eyes. Especially the progressive interpretation of the Portuguese classic Lagareiro with tofu. The dish makes you believe you are eating tofu fished directly from the Atlantic. What has blown us away was not only the food but the perfect service with a fascinating level of attention to detail. The evening at the green affair felt like going out to your best friends place that already knows what you need before you have to ask.I can only rate 5 out of 5 possible stars, if I could I would like to give +2 stars just for Filipas awesome service. Thank you! We will come again.
Delicious food! The portions are sufficient in size, not large. The service is excellent, informative, fast, and with a smile :)The prices are more than reasonable. From 12:00 to 15:00, they serve a menu offering. They have a large outdoor sitting place and indoor. The place is suitable for all visitors, from solo to large groups.
I didn’t have many dishes but the mushroom risotto was simply perfect! Such an intense taste of wild mushrooms. And the green sangria was a surprise 😀
It was our first time here and we loved it! Very creative and unique menu with lots of great options. We took the set menu for lunch and loved every bite. The service was also amazing and they all spoke English.
Looks good on the outside, but is it really good on the inside?Popped by here because of the amount of reviews. Surprisingly left disappointed. Wanted to order the Seitan Steak but they didn’t have it available. While eating, the table next to us ordered Seitan Steak. :(That was already enough to be disappointed. Portion sizes are on the smaller side. The curry could be better. As for the Boneless Lagareiro, it was a good attempt, but the mashed potatoes were just too salty and the tofu was plain.:((In the end, the highlight was the cauliflower wings. Super crispy. One of the best we’ve had so far.Ordered delivery from here two days later and was disappointing as well. Hard to give this place another chance after these two experiences.
One of my first vegan dining experiences that did not disappoint! The green affair has such a fun atmosphere and the food and drinks were all big hits. The gyoza and chocolate mousse dessert were highlights of the meal.
This place offers excellent vegetarian food in a comfy atmosphere. The mushroom risotto was a culinaric delight, every bite made me happy. But the real highlight was the Cocktail, one of the best Caipirinhas I have ever had. A perfect mix of sour and sweet!
The place is great! The food is awesome! A tip if you are thinking about a entre "cauliflower wings/coxas de couve flor". The saitan steak was very tender, the buguer tasted great. They were well served, so go hungry!I would like to tanks Isabelle, she received and helped us with a big smile!
Very friendly staff, great food, large portions. However, we ate here twice and both times they forgot a part of my order. The first time they didnt have the salade and the second time, I got a curry without rice. I would still come here again because it is such a nice place.
A vegan restaurant located a bit off the main roads. We came here for lunch. Inside seating which was fast but service was rather slow.We ordered their home made ice tea and It was tasty with light tastes of tea, light on sugar.Further we ordered a salad, spinach rolls and courge soup. The salad was fine; the spinach rolls were freshly made but rather dry and dense. I think I should have ordered a dish with some gravy to maximise the enjoyment. The courge soup was rather small but was decorated with various nuts and pits which made it a good experience to eat.We ordered only starters for lunch, but their are many main courses under which vegan burgers.
It was decent. Food quality can be improved. Bao was dry and chewy. The main tofu dish was was very heavy and lacking in flavour. Which is much needed with large chunks of tofu.
The best vegan food Ive had anywhere!Would highly recommend the Pesto Linguine and the Boneless Lagareiro! The dessert was also amazing, as you can see from the photo (Charlie Brown). The staff were also very friendly and so nice, would definitely go again!
One of the best vegan restaurants Ive been to. Absolutely great quality & taste. The staff are some of the friendliest servers Ive had the pleasure of interacting with. The decor is modern, clean & minimal. Well priced + amazing food. I highly recommend visiting if you are in Lisbon.
Amazing place!! They have a nice creative menu and the food was delicious! Prices are ok for the quality. Great experience!!
I had lunch here and thought the food was pretty good. I appreciated that they took care to create a nice looking dish (Boneless Lagareirobut it was too salty. I thought the service was rushed and on the cold side compared to the service I’ve received at every other restaurant in Lisbon. I’m impressed with the menu though so I’ll be going back at least a few more times.
I love this place! Food is incredibly tasty! Mango Wango non-alcoholic cocktail is one of the best things I have ever drink in my life!If you dont eat sugar or just like healthy desserts, you should definitely try Cashew cheesecake. For the main course, my favorite is Portuguese traditional dish with tofu instead of fish. And this tofu is mind-blowing, it doesnt taste like tofu at all, pure magic! I also tried lasagna, seitan stake and burgers all of them are really good.I cannot recommend this place enough! It doesnt matter if you are vegan or not, this food is universally good.
