Normally use Paros but as reviews were good thought we would try here, very disappointing, food had no flavour, couldve been from anywhere as it wasnt greek authentic.

Good place to go for a Greek sausage I think !

Where was the chicken???And hardly no salad on Gyros!!!!???Very poor portion size TBH......

Delicious food once again! Please ignore the fact this place is on shields road, we travelled just to eat here, lovely family owners who enjoy serving up there food, spotlessly clean inside.

Lovely, generous people and a warm welcome. Delicious, authentic Greek food, all homemade on the premises. Baklava is divine. Big servings on every dish so be prepared to eat too much!

I love, love, love this little family-run Greek restaurant! People who run the restaurant are also the ones serving, cooking, chatting and everything else! Tremendously hard work from both of them. Food is just WOW! I tried pretty much everything from the menus and I cant pick one meal that I like the best. I just like them all! Always fresh. Came here with work friends and will definitely be returning!! An absolute gem, family run, impeccable service with delicious food. Brought to mind all of the beautiful Greek tavernas ive visited that were tucked away in tiny villages in the mountains, especially when I had an authentically brewed Greek coffee to finish the meal with. I only wish they were open at lunchtime so I could get Greek coffees all the time as I work nearby. :100 out of 10!!

We have had Gyros from here before and were as good as we had in Zante. Tonight I tried mousaca and was not disappointed. It was very tasty and piping hot. As good as you can get without being in Greece.

Great food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. My daughter wanted to go to a Greek restaurant for her 13th birthday so we thought we would try this place and were very glad we did. We will definitely be back!!

Waited over 35 minutes later for food ordered lamb in ovan slowly cooked come rock hard no juice slices of hard meat musakka very small piece for 8 pound would not recommend this restaurant not nice at all x

Home cooked Greek food, tasted amazing. Family run restaurant which the owners have a lot of passion for the food they serve and are extremely friendly. Proper Greek food, we will definitely be going back soon.

After reading so many great reviews, we were really looking forward to some lovely Greek food. My husbands lamb was very nicely cooked and the portion was very generous. However, my mousakka was almost inedible, it was burnt around the edges and the topping was like glue. Unfortunately I have to say not a good experience, although I would like to try again

Delicious, authentically Greek food (I know!), cooked on the premises by the super-friendly owner couple and their son. Great value and a nice atmosphere, although a little quiet mid-week. They also do home delivery of most of their menu!

We went out to the Greek Grill as a family, by recommendation of my daughter. We had a fantastic time. Beautiful food, very reasonably priced and we were received with such a warm welcome. If you like Greek food and are nearby, dont hesitate to go there. I highly recommend the place.

This is a small restaurant on Shields Road in Byker run by a Greek family. Only a few seats but always full. Very friendly owner taking the orders and bringing food with a friendly smile and likes to have a chat. Food was amazing, authentic, home cooked, reasonably priced and very tasty.

Very authentic and homemade style Greek cuisine. The service is top class as the place is run by wonderful people.

Very good food and good value staff I believe are owners are friendly good size portions will definitely be back. Basic layout inside with a bit of Greek music in the background.

Huge salad, hummus was great, moussaka was chilled, I asked for it to be heated. When it came back it tasted not good. The staff were very pleasant throughout.

Friendly family run resturant with a laid back and cheerfull atmosphere and the most delicious original Greek food recipes.If you want to re-expereince the tastes of your holidays then this is the place to go. Limited seating so make sure you make a booking.

Order was missing 2 drinks and my order was completely wrong - called up to let them know and got told I couldn’t get my order corrected/replaced and could have a refund that the manager ‘didn’t know’ how long would take to get back to me. The manager then became rude and sarcastic before telling me ‘if you don’t like the food don’t order from us again’

Very nice food, and staff. Went there with Greek friends, they orders few starter to share, it was very tasty.Fresh ingredients have been used for salads, Halloumi starter was nice as well.Nice wine, in general great experience, would definitely go again.Note: they only accept cash payment, so take cash.

Great food, friendly people, and low prices... they tick all my boxes, and Im proud to say Ive been here twice and will visit everytime Im in NCL.Living in the Mediterranean region for almost 7 years, I fancy myself an expert on the cuisine...delusional, Ill admit ;)Was quite impressed with every single dish that was served...and there was quite a menagerie of cheesy, savoury, sweet, sour, crunchy, crispy, juicy, saucy, meaty, grilled, baked, fried, toasted, and all other manners of gastronomic delights.When we thought we couldnt take the oncoming barrage of food anymore, wed just take a sip of ouzo, tsipouro or metaxa, and get back on the offensive! We werent taking any prisoners (doggy bagthat day!!Was pretty puzzled when the cheque arrived...wasnt sure if they missed a zero ; No wonder the locals love the place!!

Fantastic and I mean the owners, staff, food the lot. It should be heaving every day I just think its in the wrong place. Put it in town or jesmond and the place is a gold mine. Its authentic in every way just wish the sun was shining and I was near a beach 🤣 go there you really wont be unhappy. Its the best Ive had outside of Greece. Thanks for being opened Ive missed my Greek food

Been here a few times already and will be coming back for more. The food has been delicious every time. Properly prepared to home-made Greek standards.The prices are also fair. 2 people can be nice and full with £20.Definitely recommended.

I love greek food, and the food itself would have been, I imagine, really tasty. The problem is that I ordered at 1.45pm and received my food at 4.05pm by which point I was simply disappointed. The woman on the phone told me my food was on the way to me before even asking my address, which gave me anything but confidence. The Souvlaki I ordered came with the pitta cut into 4 pieces, which is not how Ive had it served before from this restaurant. I will not be coming here again, which is a shame because until my last experience Id had nothing but good things to say.

we ordered a mixed grill and a skepasti .the grill for me the other for my wife .fantastic .apparently skepasti means hidden in greek but not no more .id recommend it to anyone .first class

Love this place!!! Tried EVERYTHING! 10/10 service n food! All fresh no frozen! Why is it not constantly heaving?!? The pot of tea is best English tea I have had! Wraps to do die for! Breakfast huge! Sunday dinner huge n delicious n dumplings so good! Skepasti is now a fave! Chicken gyros sooo good!! Try anything from here u will love!!! Only thing I havent (yet is the burgers n nuggets but Im sure will get round to it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
