The Granite Belt Maze - Amusement Centre in Warwick, Australia
What a little gem! A must do with kids if you visit the Granite Belt. Three fun mazes, mini golf and lovely gardens. The funny signs show the owners have a great sense of humour. Picnic tables available and snacks and mains can be purchased in the kiosk.
Great family time to be had, owners are very welcoming, park is clean, mazes are so fun and 9 hole mini golf.
Loved the experience and its so much fun!!!!
To start off the female attendant was extremely short and rude. We had two pregnant people who couldnt walk the maze and still had to pay 18 p.p to enter. We told them we would be buying from the cafe and just wanted to sit down while the kids where in the maze with their fathers, however were told we would have to wait outside then. We were then asked for a bag search, as they didnt want glass on the premise however, the way it was asked was extremely intrustive and rude. We were asked "what was in the child cooler bag", and we had to explain "it was baby food", which she was hesitant about allowing and watched as like a hawk when the kids had a snack. I also had a small satchel bag which clearly wasnt holding a load of food or drink however, still got asked to check my bag. We looked like a family group, not a bunch of drop kicks. On entry the grounds were well maintained but the signs around the maze were innaproriate and not family friendly, such as "if you leave you children unattended we will give them coffee and teach them to swear". The rude female staff member and sarcastic signs set the tone for a very toxic, and rude environment. Wont be coming back.
A fun time for people of all ages - love the funny signs!
Great little pit stop in Stanthorpe. Very friendly owners and super cute house cat Sylvester who loves a pat. Make sure you stop in.
Great wooden maze with puzzles to solve that will keep the whole family entertained; there is also 2 more smaller mazes for kids and mini golf ; thoroughly enjoyable!
Was lots of fun with the kids (18, 16, 13). Had a crack at the maze for about 1 hour, collecting all the clues to riddles, plus we found the exit! Few fun photo props plus a smaller maze and playground for younger children. Entry includes a game of putt putt golf which was a lot of fun. Small canteen available for food and drinks. Only allowed to take in water, all other food and drinks must be purchased from their Cafe. We ate before entering as no real gluten free option other than hot chips.Clean amenities and friendly staff. Allow 2 -3 hours to enjoy all the facilities.
So much fun! Great for all ages.
Little over the top with no food or drink even asking to check your bags! but overall dont miss taking the kids here we had an awesome time.
The maze is amazing and so much fun for the young and the young at heart.Watching my 75 year old mother on the balance beam.Would recommend it to all who pass through stanthorpe.
Enjoyed to the fullest. Maze was lit! Kept us busy for 30/40 mins ..Wow. And putt golf is cute.
Great place to visit and work out the clues, lots of fun
Amazing 😁😁😁 place grandchildren and whole family had a great time
I wasnt allowed through the gate to watch my grandchildren without paying $13!!!! I am unable to physically walk through the maze..... extremely rude person on the gate whom I presume was the owner. Grandmas and Grandpas beware!!!!
Enjoyed this with the kids. The big maze isnt that hard to navigate, but theyve made it more interesting by getting you to solve one of many riddles using letters found at the dead ends. Kids loved that so much we each did 2 riddles. Putt putt was challenging enough for kids and adults. Enjoyed the funny signs and photo spots like a guillotine and stocks.
Kids (8 and 7loved the mazes and mini golf. The riddle solving adds an extra bit of excitement to the large maze; and the smaller mazes are a great warm up. Highly recommend for families. Super clean and well kept. Lovely owners.
Really fun very hard I had to get shown the way out after an hour an a bit kept finding the entry but not the end
Poor staff training, forced to buy food inside venue, food quality is poor, just fried food or reheated, nothing fresh. Apparently gluten free options available according to front gate staff, none to be found. And childrens change tables were locked with a padlock
Lots of fun, mini golf, three mazes, birds, great for a couple of hours fun
Fun little stop for a maze and min golf. Maze is helped by doing the riddle and solving the puzzle. My friends (adult femaleshad a good laugh getting lost.We did both the maze and the mini golf in about 1.5-2 hours for a group of 5.Mini golf is very mini, but still a laugh and something a bit different than the usual in the area.
We had so much fun at the maze! Our daughter loved the playground in the middle and the putt putt. The quirky signs around the place made us laugh. All is included in the entry price.
Well designed, with interesing aspects for both children and adults. The cafe is slightly overpriced, and the wood is splintery, beware of running your fingers along the edges of this fenced maze.
The mini golf was a bit disappointing as the surface was concrete and not artificial turf but the kids still had fun and the mazes and surrounds are great fun - very friendly staff. We had a good time. I would recommend a stop here.
Would be good to advertise last entries are at 4pm. We busted a gut to get herefrom Bundaberg. Arrived at 4.10 and couldn’t get in. Kids had been hanging out for it all day.
A fantastic family place.. lots of fun and a great sense of humour
100% RecommendThe ones running the place are so friendly and both have such a great sense of humour!!Kids had a blast but I think us adults enjoyed it even more especially the putt putt golf.
Awesome place for a fun family activity. Great service. Fun maze. We had a blast. Lovely clean grounds.
Such a fun place for kids and adults! My 2 year old loved climbing around in the mini mazes and I enjoyed solving the riddles in the full size maze. The owners are super friendly. Make sure to bring sunscreen and a hat on hot days
It was good fun and it was definitely worth a stop over. The staff were super friendly too. Bring some water as it can get pretty hot. I’d allow 2 hours.
Fantastic maze. Very well designed. Quite challenging for you get kidsbut they had a lot of fun. Mini maze also very good for the little ones.
This is a favourite place of mine and my young sons.. we’ve visited a few times now. The man who runs the place is so welcoming and friendly and passionate about his small business. Three different mazes, lovely gardens and established trees, a snack shop and putt putt. Highly recommend this place.
Great for families with Primary aged children. Our teenagers finished fairly quickly with the mazes and then when they adapted Putt Putt to a Hole in One competition to make it more challenging, management complained and unfortunately put a stop to what was safe, harmless fun. We would return with our younger kids.
Great day out. Very well kept grounds and the mazes are interesting and fun. Well priced especially for ndis and lovely friendly staff. We had fish and chips for lunch and there was also available other snack food and hot food. Also well signed, to get there and at the venue.
First time visitors and we all loved it. Our 7 year old has lots of fun in the mazes. The riddles were hard.. for us any way but we got them in the end. Great morning activity and hilarious signs.
The kids all loved this very creative puzzle maze and it was made engaging for the adults too with riddles to solve as you navigated your way through the twists and turns. Super friendly staff and we enjoyed the cheeky signs and puns dotted around the place. Definitely the best family thing we did in Stanthorpe, dont miss it.
Great fun for both kids and adults. Much more than we were expecting. Would definitely recommend for families.
Good family fun. In our group was 4 adults, and both mazes kept us all highly entertained only to bring out individual rivalry in the mini putt included in the entry fee which was very reasonable. The Park itself was colourful, clean and amusing at every corner, the owners were so friendly and good local knowledge and up for a chat, which suited us just fine. Highly recommend granite belt maze for a great time 10 /10 👍
Very enjoyable. Maze is great for adults and kids with puzzles to solve. Mini golf is simple but a lot of fun. Well done to the owners - all over the covid rules and really trying to make a go of this place! Recommend everyone attend.
Our children LOVED this place and asked if we could go back every day we were in the area. The big kids had a lot of fun too, as we split into teams of boys vs girls to race around the big maze. The obstacle maze was fun too and helped the kids burn off some energy after the long drive to Stanthorpe. The hosts were very welcoming - they obviously love what they do and it shows. Snacks and drinks onsite and loved the sense of humour in all the signage. Thank you.
The kids will love this place - mazes, mini golf and some fun things to play with! There are three different mazes here all with varying degrees of difficulty. Plus for an extra challenge you can solve a riddle which will be provided to you on arrival.Around the property are some great little props which are fun for different photos and there is also a good little 9 hole mini golf course too.The staff are super friendly and there is a small kiosk selling drinks and snacks too. This is a great place for families to visit while in Stanthorpe.
Great maze though I thought it was made from granite. Cut through big boulders or something.Loved the mini golf got my first hole in one on the 6th hole ⛳
Great little spot, will maintained and neat with friendly staff.
we only spent one hour here but we and the kids were really enjoying it. The big maze was actually pretty fun. Kids enjoyed the mini golf when finished the maze.
A great place for kids big and small. We visited with over 70 campers and companions as part of the SCOTS PGC SONY CHILDRENS HOLIDAY CAMP. They were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit, allow a couple of hours.
Dont miss this opportunity. 3 really awesome mazes. Great putt putt golf and a range of puzzles that really bend your mind. Craig is on hand at all times to decipher anything but I totally recommend that you try it all for yourself. A family of four and we spent over 2 hours of enjoyment.
Surprising amount of fun, and we all had a ball... adults and kids combined. It loses 1 star only because it seems a little expensive... bit in reality we got our moneys worth.
Full of neat oddities and fun activities. The maze quest/riddle is enjoyable and entertaining. The big chess board was a fun addition and the putt-putt was great too. The little puzzles they had to solve were awesome to figure out. Great value at $15 per person.
Awesome hosts - love that Craig hand makes all the puzzles. Chess and mini golf were clean and well maintained.
Fun for adults & kids! We loved the putt putt, and the maze was more challenging than expected (especially on a hot day), dont forget the sunscreen in summer. Staff were very very lovely. If you have a sense of humour youll love the signs.
