Warwick Rd, Ealing, London W5 3XH, Caxito
Large pub with comfortable leather seats, heated walled garden and upstairs stage with separate bar.
Food wasnt great was average and not much options. Ordered a steak but guess it would be unfair to comment on the steak I had there as Im used to fillet steak.
Good quick service, good food (Sunday roastand portion size. Bright and open space. The gravy is not gravy, if youre from up North😉
This is the best place I’ve ever hired for an event. The summer house is so beautiful, the staff are super nice and the buffet is gorgeous!! It’s the perfect venue for a party or event, can’t recommend enough !
Nice Youngs pub with good interior and covered outdoor area Uoungs ordinary bitter was on top form!
On the pricier side but its a lovely place inside. The garden is great in warmer weather and the food is good. Quiz is a laugh and the woman who runs it is super nice.
Really nice gastropub. I love the decor and the environment overall (which makes a big difference for me personally). I had a lovely Sunday Roast and would strongly recommend the Scottish egg - amazing. They also have a very nice selection of wine.
Growing up in Ealing means that the Grange becomes part of your history and rarely disappoints. Yes the drinks are a little expensive but the package is so much more and worth that little extra.
Good selection of beers & polite staff. Would have been a 5 star rating but for the cushioned seat I sat on was wet, not noticeable till just before leaving! Seat was in garden area & there was a lot of rain yesterday!
So happy we found this nice pub! Lovely restaurant, great ambiance with a fantastic garden. Very interesting menu and tasty food - Caesar salad was my favourite. Service is superb - they take care of their customers, are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.Go and enjoy!
I organised an event for around 15 people at the Grange. In the past I’ve organised a number of events at venues all over London including at Michelin-starred restaurants. The level of service, attention to detail and friendliness of staff has been up there with the best. I can’t thank Maggie and Sam enough for making our event a perfect experience. I believe Hugo and Evelyn were our main waiters on the day and a special thanks goes out to them for their diligence, enthusiasm and top service, but the entire team were great. All of our guests also went out of their way to tell me that the food was excellent too.
Great pub with a lovely garden. Food was excellent and has a great pub quiz on Thursdays. Staff also very friendly - will definitely be back.
Lovely pub, with great space inside and out. Amazing selection of food and drinks. Had a great time at the quiz, would be back 🙂
Visited The Grange with my friends for drinks recently, they had no problem accommodating a large group. We enjoyed a few pints of Guinness while sitting in their lovely beer garden.
A wonderful pub! Great tasty food, wonderful friendly staff and fantastic service all round. A fabulous spot for a relaxing drink.
Went here for drinks with some friends and stayed around for the quiz. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be popping in again.
Lovely and comfy environment. Really homey feel to it and its a great place to chill. The team that work here are always super friendly and add the whole experience
We had our wedding reception here earlier this month. The food was incredible, the staff were great (shout outs to Maggie and Ashley!and everything went exactly as promised.Strong recommend.
Food quality average, portion sizes less than average. We have been there with a party of 9. Burgers have been without salad. In general the presentation looks sad on the plate.Staff very friendly and doing their best.Nice garden and nice event "house", but price / quantity of food is just very poor
The pub is lovely, slightly in the expensive side for drinks. And if you order for events a menu then note that the main course is huuuggee.. great experience 👍
Really nice place. The beer garden is amazing...one of the best if not the best around Ealing. Staff is also very friendly and helpfull. A pity that the food is not as good as the place is beautiful...hence 4 stars only.
Lots of reviews saying it’s ‘expensive’ - It really is. What motivated me into writing a review however, was the lack of quality on the ‘sandwich menu’. Just awful. More fool me for retuning and trying something different. Both times I was unable to finish the sandwich. For £14.40 I got concentrate orange juice and cheap meat that was poorly cooked. Not to mention the tiny bowl that had 7, yes SEVEN, tiny Chips in it.
Pretty spacious Public House just away from the busy part of Ealing. The Grange offers food and drink at a pretty reasonable price given the location.Every Thursday night is quiz night and its taken pretty seriously so only come with your A game. Have been a few times now (once with a babyand staff have also been polite and facilitating. Regular pick up of plates and glasses and the chips are amazing!Parking can be an issue around Ealing but I would not let deter you from visiting The Grange and having a great time 😊
The only thing not to like about this place is the price of a beer. But its not a place to go to get steaming drunk.. Its a place to chat and enjoy the surroundings. A more beautiful pub in west London will be hard to find. Foods pretty good too.
The perfect combination of classic English pub and a cozy modern place. Food was great, bitters too. Lovely!
I went here for the British Film Festival networking event, and I found the place beautifully done, good food, polite and friendly staff. Its a clean and warm pub a bit farther from the Ealing Broadway noise in a nice neighborhood. Function rooms, garden, summer house and facilities were just ace.I recommend The Grange. Youll enjoy your time there.
Been here a few times and would keep coming back. Very big portions and a nice variety of food. We went around lunch time and managed to get seating outside but inside was full so advice to book in advance. Parking was free on the road opposite to the Grange (we went on Sunday). Great service. Will go back soon.
Sadly our visit to The Grange was quite disappointing, despite the teams best efforts.Understandably, the wait time for our baked Camembert shared starter was on the long side (1 hourdue to the good weather and greater customer flow than what they may have expected. The Camembert starter was fairly underwhelming and bland for the price charged (£16and did not end up sitting well with us at all, we ended up feeling quite poorly after the meal. The mains we ordered, namely the fish and chips was also below expectations of a local gastro pub. Despite the chefs best efforts to cook the fish to perfection, there were so many bones throughout the fish that most of it was near impossible to eat. As a Chinese person who is quite accustomed to bone-in fish, this wasn’t off putting initially but with a battered fish, it’s just not something you expect to have to tackle. All this being said, we really appreciate the effort and service the team provided and appreciate they were overwhelmed. They understood the service was subpar and kindly offered to make up for the long wait time and unfortunate incident with the fish with free drinks/refunds for the meal. We declined but appreciated the offer nonetheless. At some point in the distant future we may return but I think it’s understandable why we may not be keen to return any time soon.
Fantastic service and portions. I was visiting a friend from out of the country and we went to this pub for the English Sunday roast experience. We were not disappointed. A wonderful ambiance and a warm ambiance complemented a lovely meal. Thank you to our server and the team.
Just moved to the area and tried The Grange on Easter Monday. What a treat! We were in the garden, which is stunning, but the interior is equally pretty. The food was amazing and the wine selection also really good. Try their Albariño!My friends are now jealous this is my new local.
Good vibes in the pub but verge on let down unfortunately. Mens toilet broken, and only one tap works. Partner said same issue in the womens. The food was okay, incredibly small portion. I ordered the plant burger. £16 and I could eat it in 2 bites. Should have been advertised as slider burgers. Werent too many chips either. Garden was lovely and would go but not order food. Vibe was great in there tbf
Nice pub but extremely expensive, just seen statement - 3 pints plus 3 packets of peanuts £27.00…! For those prices if I’m not being served at my table, it would be nice to be acknowledged when you approach an empty bar with three members of staff chatting at the other end who continued to ignore me when their conversation was over and left the bar in various directions.
Great food, but most importantly, an amazing atmosphere. When youre here, you dont feel like youre in a chain pub.The restaurant has great seating with wonderful views of the park. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is on the pricier side, but you absolutely get what you pay for.
I loved the atmosphere . . I had roasted cauliflower with all sorts of yummy accompaniments - thoroughly enjoyed!
We had a lovely lunch. We ordered some starters and platter to share and was so delicious. We had some main and also very delicious with good portions. The only thing the Caesar salad comes with bacon and anchovies and doesnt say on the menu. Overall very good experience. My wife loves the passion fruit Martini
The food is absolutely fantastic there! I had the spicy chicken burger and it was great (even for those who dont like spicy). My partner had the lamb burger and is still talking about it today even though we went to the Grange 2 days ago. Lovely stuff and the decor is nice too, warm atmosphere. Prices are slightly more higher than your regular pub food but its so much better.
Lovely pub inside and out, but get an overdraft.Drinks and food very expensive youll need a Mortgage if you stay all night.
Food was absolutely amazing. We had the hummus plate, curly fries, mac and cheese to dye for. Recommended.
Great place and atmosphere, drinks and food are lovely. Staff are nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
Friendly stuff, prompt service and rosy was good. They had ran out of the vegan option on a Sunday at 2pm but I think they can order more. Took my dog and they were kind with water for him and all gave him a Stroke. Thanks guys.
Recommend! This is a perfect place to meet up with friends, have a meal, just chill out…. Staff are so friendly. Lovely deco and nice details. We had a great time here. Will be back.
Fabulous Sunday lunch. We have been to The Grange a fair few times over the years but I think its the best its ever been. Very cute outside space and buildings, socially spaced tables, clean bright atmosphere and great food. My slow cooked rib of beef was outstanding. Cant wait to go back the other side of lockdown. Portions are generous- you have been warned!!
Lovely space and attentive staff, food is great too. Table service still. Mussels starter was big enough for a main and really nice. Harissa cauliflower was filling too. Dog friendly.
Excellent pub, well patronised by the locals. Also, dog-friendly for all those Ealing Common dog-walkers who need a pint on their way home. The food is tweaked on the pub standard and is interesting and very tasty. There is also an excellent beer garden.
A really enchanting place in the sunlight. Well decorated and fabulous garden layout. They were able to serve me before 12:30 pm start time for food, but did not enjoy the soup of the day. The bread was fresh. No peanuts behind the bar but a nice place to visit in a group. Every Thursdays about 8pm quiz night.
Really good ambience, a lot of gin options but are way too expensive! A double gin is for £9.9 +£2.7 for a mixer (tonicextra.Hardly any vegetarian options. Ordered a spinach with cheddar cheese side which was quite terrible, but the sweet potato fries were quite good.6 drinks and 2 sides cost us an overall of £80.
Nice pub, nice location, great food and very friendly and efficient staff. Its been a good few years sinse I was last there but Im sure it has improved sinse my last visit. A few small niggles stop me giving a better star rating, we had a table for 9, they managed to bring all the meals simultaneously but one was cold, they quickly rectified the problem. Vase of dead flowers on the table and a blocked loo showed a lack of attention to detail, having said that, I would go back.
Fab food, quiet, upmarket, priced accordingly. We had the duck and beef sharers. Lovely puds. Says for 2 but enough for 4, they are not kidding. Make sure your leftovers are packed. They have been known to throw stuff away, as many arent bothered by waste. We say, too good to chuck!
I just decide to explore Ealing so after I went to a pub I did found out about The Grange. As soon as I get there I said to myself I will like this place.I got inside and the atmosphere was pleasant.I had a look at the terrace and the people were happy like they were coming there every time and they were feel like at home.I did order a peroni as well and honestly the price was good for London.Afterwards I decided to get some food so i did get a burger ..When the food arrived I was quite disappointed to be honest. The appearance of the burger was quite awful .I did really expect much more from the kitchen, altout the taste wasnt bad.As soon as I finished the food I did leave it on the side and after a while Antony collect it .I did decide to get one more beer so went to the bar where the queue was long but Antony nicely asked me what could he get for me .And he delivered the beer to the table .All over I did really enjoye the Grange and i am sure I will come back .
Lovely atmosphere created by the decoration in this pub. Food was ok, kids desert ice cream 2 scoops £3, adults in the same size bowl 3 scoops £6...
The honey beer and the dessert were great, but the rest of the food was OK. The place is nice and cozy, specially by the fireplace. They have easy access with wheelchairs, rolling bags, etc.
