Reasonable place nice atmosphere bathrooms smell very bad please clean disinfect and use nice smelling air freshener felt sick during visit to washrooms

Lovely venue with good facilities.

It is one of the most beautiful wedding locations Ive seen!But, I had a problem!DO NOT PAY YOUR DEPOSIT UNTIL YOUR 100% SURE!I paid my deposit to them in November 2021, and weeks later the wedding plans never went ahead. So I asked them 2 months before the planned date, in advance, if I could have my deposit back since it wasnt me who cancelled the wedding!They said I should contact their head office; so I did.I contacted their head office for 2 months, literally almost everyday for 2 months I was ringing them!Not a single person answered my calls for 2 months!And then, when the month of the wedding arrived, they finally answered my call.And guess what they said?They told me that now its too late to refund since the original planned month of the wedding had arrived!

The staff yunus patel is particularly wonderful - so helpful😍we booked Grand Astoria venue for a our son’s first birthday. yunus patel was very helpful throughout the full booking process. The level of customer service he offers is outstanding. It is a lovely touch that our family had remembers you yunus Patel 😍The event area is well maintained and beautiful. This venue is fabulous! Amazing experience ,We had a really good time here. we really liked our experience of hosting our son’s birthday function here. we highly Recommended for such family functions in this place.The location is easily reachable . 👍👍👍👍👍👍

food I’ve ever tasted in my whole life from the grand astoria venue. I’m very fussy with pakistani food and obviously I know the difference between Bangladeshi and indian food. Tonight I had lamb Biryani, Salmon Tikka, Malai Chicken Tikka, Tandoori King-prawns, & Butter Chicken and alu papdi chat along with Butter Naans cheese and onion Naans and raita/chutneys and a fresh salad with fresh green chilli in 🤤 such an incredible meal and the flavours were just mind blowing. I’ve eaten many weddings but in my 31 years on this earth but not one has ever compared or come close to this one. The grand astoria venue you’ve seriously blown my mind tonight ! Incredible flavours, amazing presentation, and everything so so fresh. The king prawns were so so fresh and meaty and the butter chicken melted in your mouth .. the alu papdi chatwas to die for and obviously went so well with naan too, the biryani was so tasty - again the best biryani I’ve tasted. I can’t fault anything with this meal whatsoever and even the delivery was prompt and the staff so so lovely and the mr yunus Ahmed so welcoming too. A huge thank you to the grand astoria venue and if you don’t know about I suggest you get to know and also check out their new venture tandoori feathers. 100/100 from me 🔥🔥🔥 fire !!!!

Great experience at The Grand Astoria venue. I found exactly what I was looking for My daughters First Birthday. We had the pleasure working with Mr Patel he was very professional and down to earth person and helpful, easy to work with. Made the party very memorable and cannot be forgotten. Thank you once again Mr Patel for your service.

Wonderfull venue manger very co operative

Wonderful venue it seem your in Dubai we had fantastic time the manger was very polite and fully co operative very high standard the Chandeliers and the deco is beautiful I would recommend this place for wedding parties especially the big grand ballroom suite

Absolutely stunning, the interior is truly opulent ( take no notice of the exterior...Its a listed buildingif you want a venue for wedding, christening, birthdays, anything then you must check The GRANDE ASTORIA venue out you will have to go a long way to beat it. Cannot praise the place and the owners enough. Thoroughly recommend 👌

Lovely venue, could have better communication and need to get the lift fixed.

Rang up to make a booking in the function room VERY VERY rude left me for ages on the phone with no apology sounded like he just woke up. To then hang up on me without saying anything. Wouldn’t recommend

Great venue and very helpful staff. They went above and beyond for my engagement ceremony and were the cheapest venue for the quality by far!

What a disgrace! attended new years eve party, room itself nicely decorated, great size ( hence the starbut apart from that cant say a single good word, sorry. We agreed to self catering and drinks, tableware etc, we also provided music and sound equipment as that wasnt available. Hired the room on the first floor - not allowed to use the lift so had to carry everything up the stairs but that was the least problem. Upon the arrival, DISGUSTED by the state of the bar area - wet puddles on the floor and bags of rubbish (probably left from the previous partystacked in the corner! and the toilets!!! SHOCKING!!! never seen such an appalling view - urine puddles, used toilet paper on the floor, toilets dirty inside, maybe three cubicles barely acceptable to use, no toilet paper whatsoever !!! - the same state of both ladies and gents. Unfortunately, children had to use it as well. Complained twice to the owner (present at the time- was told the cleaning company had failed to turn up - for goodness sake!!! During the party, the owner was taking pictures of us without our consent! Also heating turned off during the party.What a negligence, lack of respect and obviously money driven individual. Wishing them all the best though, hope they treat their potential future guests better than us. Sad and very very disappointing

Amazing venue beautiful concept

Attended a funtion at the grand astoria, the place was a disgrace! It was dirty and the toilet had to be seen to be believed filthy with no water even the rats had moved out. Aviod like the plague!!

Exquisite venue. Beautiful place for weddings and parties
