The Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms - in Wete, Tanzania
Had a wonderful time in London.. the Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms was in the perfect location to explore the city.. the staff was super friendly and helpful.. the room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Would love to come back and stay here again for another trip!
A good selection and of beers. FriendlyThank you
Very nice Thai food. Also did good cocktails. Ate out on roof terrace. Pleasant without noise or overcrowding.
Really chilled and relaxing pub (and rooms). Great atmosphere to totally kick back and enjoy a drink and a meal. Youll be pleased youve found this and want to return again and again.
We didnt have food only drinks on the roof terrace. Every table had a heater, and you ordered off the app. Really liked this place. There rooms looked nice to although we didnt stay in one.... This time round. I will consider on my next trip to London though. Thanks to the friendly staff working tirelessly.
Has a nice roof terrance and a wide selection of gin and cocktails.
Nice cosy pub with very reasonable prices for central London. Could be crowded if people sought to sit inside but on pleasant evenings the mainly youngish crowd choose to gather on the pavement.
22:25 asked for a drink at the place my wife and myself met, refused a drink because they were closing early. Manager disgustingly rude about it.No wonder it is bow a ghost town. Good luck and sad to see the place I ran for many years run down
Deliciious food! Excellent choice of drinks. Staff were friendly & helpful! Highly recommend!
LOVED our stay in the rooms and had dinner in the pub both nights we were there. Staff is amazing, food is fantastic, and apparently the neighborhood loves the pub, too. Our room was spacious, very clean, modern, and had all the amenities you could want. Just FYI…there’s no elevator, so you may have to walk up a few floors. We would absolutely stay here again!!
Beautiful spacious rooms and super friendly staff.
Great staff and service, lovely pub!
Lovely pub, nice outdoor space, (streetdog friendly, they gave the dogs a bowel of water which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend
Great staff and loved the roof top terrace
Good sized room, lovely decor, and nice touches in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful, and plenty of restaurants close by
We stayed for a long weekend and were happy with the room. Many stairs to climb, but that only makes the London experience more so. Check-in and -out were easy. The location is great and we walked to kost places we wanted to go. Walking distance from the Palace Theater.
First time here really nice place, good food and a selection of beers on offer. Staff really friendly and helpful will visit again.
Clean, friendly and professional. A nice stop off for a weekend in London.
Exceeded expectations. Great rooms, staff and location. Rooms were even nicer than pictures--very clean and posh. There is no lift but the staff was very nice and helped with suitcases. Will definitely visit again.
The Grafton was one of the best parts of our visit to London. The staff was always so friendly and courteous. The rooms were way beyond expectations and so comfortable. We stayed two nights during a heat wave and were so thankful for the air conditioning. The amenities were nothing like what we expected. We would love to come back.
Nice place to hang out with friends, teammates etc. Good food and drinks too. Roof terrace is particularly good
All in all a great stay for the price. They were a bit late getting the room ready but offered us free lunch in the bar as compensation - cant beat that! Not the mention a drink on the house at check in.Room was spacious for central london and had everything we needed. 10 min walk from Oxford street. 2 minutes from the tube.Would definately stay again.
Cute pub with dog portraits! Was nice and quiet when we went at around 08:30pm. Was getting busier around 10. Sadly the rooftop terrace wasnt open
Very small downstairs with a reasonable range of beers. Not great for real ale or craft. Just the usual sort of selection so I stuck to Guinness. Had the sharing plates which were good. Nice outside space on the roof with good table service
Great bar and hotel. A real gem to find. I stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights and the room was gorgeous, super clean and the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The people working there are really lovely as well.
Husband and I were not able to sleep due to the beds being so hard and horrible. Woke up with little sleep and felt like we had been in a wreck. Paid for 5 night stay. Asked to cancel so we could find something else. Told 48 policy and refused to even give partial as it was 48 before the end of our stay. Told us he tried but Expedia had our money. Called Expedia and found out that he lied. They called on our behalf and was told no that we were offered a solution. Which was a twin bed in a much smaller room. Then wanted us to release the room even though we were repeatedly told they could not resell it. If can’t resell it then why do you care if we are there are not. We paid for it. It can stay empty. Received many phone calls, to claim the room or be marked as no show. Said I would if we got partial refund. Refused. Finally blocked the number. Went to park plaza who upon hearing about the experience gave us free upgrade. Lesson learned. Stay with what you know. Run don’t walk!!
Maybe five stars - werent there long enough. Wednesday at 5.45. Still space for two in the very pleasant back garden..we were walk ins and tables were booked for later in the night. Very good staff. Prosecco by the glass, good selection of beers and lagers.
I really loved staying here! The room my partner and I had was super cute. Also, the staff are super friendly, and the pub definitely came to life at night. It’s really worth checking out if you’re looking for a place to stay.
The Grafton Arms on Grafton way, close to Tottenham Court Road is a smallish unassuming pub and boutique hotel. A fine pint of Cobra among the keg offerings. A couple of cask ales also on offer to accompany the Asian themed menu, tempting indeed. Lovely courteous staff offering fast efficient service. A fine place to drink, eat and I suspect stay!
The special of the day meal. We sat on the roof terrace enjoying our lunch with a cider which was very nice. Acceptable food portions. A nice environment too.
if you are looking for an hotel to stay in London, book your room there! Very reasonable price. Hotel and pub is very cute and cozy. Very nice decor. Room super spacious. Large bathroom. Staff very friendly. Delicious drinks at the pub. Very central.
We stayed here for a couple of nights over Easter weekend, the room was lovely and clean, but the restaurant and pub was closed, it was lovely and quiet. So when we come back to London we would definitely book again, central for the underground
decent boozer for this part of town. good selection of drinks. roof terrace for when the sun has his hat on.
Standard king room. Swift check in. Lovely luxury room with thoughtful items in mini bar and next to coffee pod machine. Comfy bed with high quality linen. Complementary Netflix etc makes for a very comfy stay.
Excellent stay. Friendly and accommodative staff. Very warm and cosy feeling the whole time. Clean rooms that are very unique with larger than average showers for London. The pub downstairs has excellent food as a bonus as well. Will be returning.
Very good food and a great selection of drinks, including at least ten beers on tap. We enjoyed the chilli salt squid and pork belly small plates, followed by lamb rendang and chicken katsu as main dishes. All reasonably priced and delivered with very friendly service.
Beautiful rooms, very clean & the bed was very comfy. The only downside is that they dont offer breakfast but other than that it was perfect! Would definitely recommend.
You could easily walk past this pub but its well worth a visit. Well presented and cosy pub restaurant with a good range of drinks including well kept cask beers. Also seems popular for food. Added bonus of a pleasant roof terrace which is covered with heaters and so can be used all year round. Staff seemed friendly and fast service. Not sure what the bedrooms are like but if its reflective of the rest of the pub then will be done to a high standard.
A nice selection of ales. Thai food menu which is delicious. It has an outdoor roof terrace which is pleasant and the staff were nice. Weekends are quiet which is how I like it. Week days can be crowded with people after work.
Had a great Sunday roast today beef and chicken lovely roast potatoes beef very tender. Cooked by the manager Dave himself. Great local friendly pub. Try yourself 5 minutes walk from Westminster abbey.
Nicest bartender ever, we really love him and we love the espresso martini and also another drink I hard but cant remember the name. Such a good pub.TaraTop blokes, would recommend
Very wet when we went, and due to Covid restrictions we had to sit outside. But the pub has a large covered outdoor terrace with heating. Staff made us feel welcome and the food was great.
I swung in on a hot day, lured by the advertising of a/c. Table service was quick and efficient. (During COVID restrictionsHad a pint of Pravda, and asked for a food menu. Was blown away to be surprised by a Pan-Asian menu. Fortunately, that’s right up my ally! I had Pad Thai and Pork dumplings, they were amazing! I will be back!
DUMPLINGS!!!!!Came here on a Monday afternoon with friends. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace is soooo lovely. If you can get a seat up there thats the best. We drank a lot of wine and ate a lot of dumplings! The sharer platters of dumplings and spring rolls were amazing. Very nice pub. Definitely coming back.
Excellent room, great food and very friendly, helpful staff. The bed was really comfortable and I honestly had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a very long while. The beer selection is varied and they even had, to my delight, German wheat beer. I highly recommend the Thai green curry as it was truly remarkable. If you want a table for dinner, make sure to reserve one as soon as you can as it’s a popular place and fills up very quickly.
We arrived early for our booking and the table wasn’t ready yet. They politely offered us a complimentary drink while they made our table ready. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had great food and the roof terrace is spectacular. I highly recommend The Grafton Arms!
Stayed while working in London for a week. I had a standard double room which was perfectly spacious enough for me - nice bathroom with a big shower too.Coffee machine and Netflix being included was a nice touch! No lift, and I was on the top floor - but this wasnt an issue for me at all.Comfy bed and nice quiet location.Would stay again!
Great pub, we had the entire upstairs to ourselves and there were only five of us! I understand its a roof terrace in summer but on 22 December it was well and truly an inside space with heating and comfortable seating... Lovely.
Very well located, the recently refurbished rooms are lovely and a really good size for London. The staff were really friendly. Only negative was the four flights of stairs we had to climb as no lift. Not a problem for us but something to be aware of.
Good for your standard English pub. Has a fair range of beers on tap. Is slightly small in that large groups may fill the place easily and standing room isnt in high supply. Rooftop terrace is a great feature however is again smallish and faces north (good for evening sun). Overall reasonable prices and certainly worth a visit on a sunny day. Rooftop terrace requires advance booking however.
