A nice hangout place. They have to check the volume of their music and quality of their sound system. Its bit so ideal for people who dont like loud music as one has to talk on top of his or her voice.

This review is written by Samara Osae.I had a wonderful time at the Afro Connect event yesterday held at the Gold Coast Restaurant and Bar. The Jollof and chicken was very delicious. The Jollof had the right amount of spice and tomato based stew, and the chicken was well cooked with a wonderful blend of spices.I also had the privilege to try out one of their Thai restaurants located upstairs across from the Gold Coast Restaurant (Bangkok), and their green curry dish was exceptional! Nice food, nice waiters and a good slow music, the weekend live band isnt as live as it should be, probably it a part of the bars own design.

Great restaurant. Open door space with lots of food choices both local and foreign. Theres alcohol, cocktails, mock tails and soft drinks.Kebabs are Ghc10 per stick, the pork, beef, and chicken are about Ghc60-85 with whatever side dish you like eg. Jollof, potatoes, yam etc.The place is affordable, the staff are courteous and every ready to serve.

I had the Jollof rice, a goat kebob, and a chicken kebob. It was sooo good. The staff is friendly. I highly recommend dining here.

Nice place to have fun on a Friday night

Went there on a Sunday, the service wasnt great and the food was salty.Waited a while for our waiter to come for the money but he wasnt so we left it on the table with the receipt. Only to be accosted by another guy on our way out asking if we had paid for our meal.

For a Saturday night, it was almost dead and the kitchen closes very early ( this includes the kebab grill), I think 11pm. The drinks were no bueno. The kebabs were decent. I didn’t even think to take any pics .

A great center for relaxing and chatting up with colleagues and family after a hectic week. Great music and meals both finger foods and main dish. Live band begins after 8pm on Fridays and venue is mostly busy with different corporate class groups meeting over a drink. Car park not too spacious however the roads are not too busy so vehicles park on the shoulders. You can dine in or take out. The only challenge one may experience is that the servers are sometimes slow although very professional because of the numbers they have to deal With

Food was good especially the pork. Didnt like the tilapia much but the cocktail was very nice and the staff was professional. Waiting time for food wasnt long which we really appreciated.

Gold Coast Restaurant is in Cantoments, there is enough parking with Help. The Fridays Live Musik is free and the jug Beer is only 15 Cedis as compared to other Clubs very cheap.Is worth visiting Gold Coast Restaurant.

But for the food and services, I would have rated them two. The ambience is okay and the outdoors is expansive - rare for most restaurants. A live band plays into the night. The bar looks great too.They need to work on their washrooms. Though neat, the place looks worn out and there is leaking water at the entrance which makes the place looks messy.

Lovely open outdoor space....Good place to meet up in town after a hard days work...Volume of music should be a bit lower especially on weekdays, as people would want to have a decent conversation devoid of shouting :). Good customer service

I LOVED it!The rain almost took away the fun but it was great in the end. Lots of great music and dancing. This place is fun if u enjoy dancing to a live band. Food took a lot of time to arrive and that is why it is 4 stars from me. This could be better if one does not have to wait long to be served.

First time here and I must say im super impressed with the service.Fasttttttttttt... every order took less than 3minutes.My pina Colada was great ..Try their jerk pork.. youd be mesmerized😍😋Very soft and grilled to perfection.The waiters and waitresses were always on the look out .They constantly checked if we were okay or wanted something else. The live band was superb but it ended around 11:30pm.Place is still fun afterwards with people on the dance floor the whole time.

Not a bad experience. Waiting time could be improved but apart from that really nice atmosphere and spacious room for meetings. The menu is quite reasonable. I ordered the jerk pork with Jollof for takeout and I quite enjoyed it. I’ll definitely return very soon

It’s Karaoke and ladies night on Tuesdays. I had a blast with my friends when we participated on one of the nights. The DJ Effe Keyz was very engaging and she made it fun.The food was good too and the servers knew the menu inside out. Parking is available and there is security to watch over your car whiles you have fun. They appreciate a good tip!

Since they moved to their new space opposite the flag staff house I havent been until I was invited for lunch. Its an impressive spacious new space. With an upstairs and downstairs seating and serving area. A large compound outside if you just want to enjoy some nice breeze. The food is good and the service is not that bad. The prices are somewhat affordable. Will definitely go again.

We walked into the restaurant along a narrow alley showcasing photos from around the time of Ghanas independence. This opens into a big interior that employs the use of wood and thatch, giving it a contemporary yet traditional feel. The ambience is quasi-formal and relaxing as well. I found some of their prices a bit on the high. Apart from that, they offer good service. Their spicy GC Special Rice which I went in for was good. They have a bar, a football watching area and a see-through indoor dining spaces.

Ive been to this bar twice so far and it just gets better. The live music is such a great vibe whether its date night or a large group, you have people getting up to dance and just having fun, not worrying about a thing in the happy, bubbly environment. The cocktails are a definite must, they are different to most of the other bars and actually taste great! The food is well presented, and very authentic. They have a few items on the menu where they have put a twist on the Ghanaian dishes which is pretty cool too! The manager is so hospitable and the staff are extremely hard workers. Make sure you check out Gold Coast restaurant when in Ghana.

Nice set, you will find in the entrance nice big pictures of ancient Ghana. Friendly people, excellent live music on Friday Night, perfect for corporate events. Cocktail very good (Kwansima among the others).Food in the average but to compensate you will have lot of fun.

Good customer service. Live band on Fridays is always fun and pulls a lively crowd. Weekday lunch buffet is top class although a La carte menu could benefit from some new additions and revamping; same fare over 2+ years is quite boring. Cocktail menu is interesting with signature and popular cocktails alike. Fair prices for location and ambience. Super clean bathrooms

Lovely place for a hangout any night of the week. Most popular times are Friday and Saturday nights when live band is in session.Music can be excessively loud however and takes away from the ambience if loud music isnt your thing.Grills, pizza, seafood, and cocktails are what they boast of. Good place to please the belly too.Sunday buffet are just as mouth watering and well patronized.
