The atmosphere is okay, but the music is horrible. I mean, literally, the worst dj I’ve ever heard in my life. I wanted to leave since he started playing, but eventually, I was able to leave my friends and take an Uber home. Don’t go to this bar. The music is absolutely terrible.

I went to look for the health report for a college project and the manager was dismissive and rude. The fact they sell food and don’t have a health score is borderline illegal and a health code violation which the manager ( or whoever he wasdid state. I’ll be reporting this to the consumer of agriculture and the department of public health.Edit: He did not mention anything online he actually said “we are straight on that”and also “I don’t know where it was at the moment.”

Not good at all the ribs had so much fat and no seasoning.

I called this location before coming to ask if it was okay to bring my dog (well behavedI was told yes, I come in and immediately was approached by a gentleman who aggressively said “CANT BRING NO DOGS IN HERE” may have been security im not sure but he had a drink in his hand. The manager came and was able to to sit us in the patio and that was perfect! So I appreciate that but the gentleman at the door made it very uncomfortable for us and due to that I cannot rate 5 stars

Security guard, tall guy: ASSH%oLE. Lack of customer service and extremely rude. Walking around with a (drinkto top it off. Why would the restaurant hire someone like that? Aggressive and insulting. He embarrassed the waitress who was only trying to help us, she was beyond sweet and he was a 🍆!

A nice place to sit back and enjoy some really good food and a cold beer at a great price.

Went in and turned right back around! The place was black dark! Could barely see in front of you! Then they only had bar seating! No thank you!

Authentic bar feeling with the good drinks and food.

Its like an Irish pub in Boston where the good old boys go to hangout. Only the locals. Everyone else is a suspect.

Sat in the restaurant and was ignored for 30 mins. Not one person asked me anything gave me a menus or a glass of water. Unless you are clairvoyant just go somewhere else.

Im here with my 3 month old child and my wife trying to order food to go and the patrons talked S word and then the manager came out and said that after 10pm its 21 and over so basically he or no one here can take my food order. Looking into legal action

This place is solid. My bf and I come here sometimes when we want good food late. I am mostly keto so it’s hard for me to find stuff to eat. I get the pulled chicken ( no barbecuewith green beans and fried okra ( I cheat on the breading :-)). My bf doesn’t eat pork so he normally gets the pulled brisket sandwich and loves it. Also, when I’m cheating, I have the Brunswick stew. It’s amazing! Beat that you can get from a restaurant. Service at the bar is always good and the drinks are a good price and they aren’t weak. Man I was shocked. Bruh! Them smoked wings????? OUTRAGEOUS! So damn delicious. And definitely get the nachos with chicken.. Make you wanna slap ya mama. Fries were amazing too. Drinks were built Ford tough! First time at this spot for a late night meal and it did not disappoint!

Please please please save your moneyCame in and seems if not a local they could care less about you. Waited well.over 25 minutes to get a beer than was told by waitress had to go.to bar to make food or drink order. Have waited now over 50 minutes for food. And locals.have gotten food after I ordered and drinks. Guess my money not good enough. Save time and money and stay away from this place

I live in EAV, and this bar is always a go to. I play bar poker here on Sundays and always have a great time! Go see Emma or Toli at the bar!

My food was terrible 😣 my brisket was burnt & hard, it was more fat on it than meat. Wouldn’t recommend to no one at this point. Waste of time & money !!I would give them no stars if I could.

Quiet bar tucked away in the bustle of Atlanta. I’d have to say the food is rather expensive based on portion and quality. I ordered the pork bbq and the sandwich was quite dry. Good draft beer selection though. Doubt we’ll dine againEdit-response to owner- I posted this right as we were leaving the restaurant. Service was quick so I’d say we were there maybe 45 mins

The food has gone downhill fast at this place. I ordered green beans once and they came out cold and slathered in butter. The cheese on the nachos comes out lukewarm and it taste gross. Like their using canned cheese and not heating it up all the way properly. Sometimes the ribs are ok sometimes their small and mostly bone. I only keep coming her because of the bartenders, the only consistent food item thats good is the smoked wings.

4th or 5th and last time to eat here. The food was good the service goes down hill each time we go. And the server scratching his head, blowing his nose and not washing his hands. Still serving customers when we left. I dont know his name (man bun and beard.We were not given silverware or napkins. My coworker had to go to the bathroom and get paper towels.

They have thee best happy meals.The pork and chicken we had were both really dry. And the over spicy bbq sauce did not help. Sides were Mac and cheese, potato salad, both excellent....we were there 2/16/22... Also, I ran a smoker for four years and I understand that sometimes meats get dry. This is also the first time I have had dry meats at your establishment. Service was excellent. The North Remembers.

This place is tried and true- Ive been coming here since at least 2012. The vibe is chill even on football days and its not real smokey like some places. The food is good and drinks are strong. Minus 1 star because the staff isnt always attentive unless youre at the bar.

Really good!I personally think the portions where a bit too small for the price you pay.But hey. I could just be a greedy, cheapskate.

The food is great but while we were eating a rat run across the floor, our server was terrible, I had to ask for our drinks, and the bathrooms were gross and the kitchen was worse then the bathrooms. Over-all I would never recommend. 👎🤢

Great atmosphere and good food. Night time bartender Toli is THE BEST! Definitely ask her to make some of her specialty drinks!

They have zero staff. Not their fault, but waited 4 hours for a beer and a pretzel and only got a beer. Kitchen staff was actively fighting infront of customers. Bartender took 45 min to ask me for my order. Once again, not his fault. Short staffed.

Well yes yesterday was my first and last time there first the fries was under cooked and the brisket was very very dry and also the need a better air system meaning they need to have the smell of barbeque in the kitchen not the dinning area to much smoke.

Honestly, the glenwood was horrible.The staff was rude and barley acknowledged me when I arrived because I wasnt a regular local, I also saw the bartender handing the kitchen staff beers to drink on the job, they couldnt even get far enough into the kitchen before the beers were opened, the bathrooms were horrible, I Honestly have a video. I in no way recommend the establishment at all.

The food was good but the establishment was breathe taking. I loved the decor and scenery there. The drinks were a little strong but had a good overall experience.

The food smelled amazing and we had high hopes after reading other reviews (this was our first meal stop in Atlanta). The brisket was really tender and fell apart. I barely needed a knife at all to help the plastic fork pull it apart. But then reality set in. Lets start with my wifes main course: the pulled chicken sandwich. All that needs to be said is ths: six bones and only one-third of the sandwich eaten. What if someone that had been drinking ate this and choked? Thats a serious matter... The macaroni had no flavor. It tasted like Velveeta and over-boiled noodles. I found a couple bits of clear cellophane in my sweet potato fries. And the potato salad will set your mouth on fire. Spicy is good but it took away from the true nature of what it is: potato salad. This place would probably be great to kick back and have a few drinks but the food was absolutely terrible.

Very poor service. My wife and i where there at least 30 minutes before any watress acknowleged our presents. I finally walked to the bar to order a beer and stood there another 10 before i was served. The waitress never looked me in the eye and the beer wasnt even cold. Rasism definatley exsist in this establishment. Never again. Ill spend my money elsewhere.

I went to this bar with a guarantee that it would be safe to go to—unfortunately that was not the case. When I walked up a largely maskless crowd was amassed out front. I should have thought better before going in, but I had a group waiting for me out on the patio. When I went in I was shocked to see a massive crowd around the bar, shoulder to shoulder, and maskless folks walking around without a care in the world. I ran out to the patio where my group was sitting, no one was out there so I thought it was okay. Smokers would come out and introduce themselves and forcibly assert their hand like I wanted to shake it (this happened multiple times)—it’s a pandemic, I do not want to shake your hand. After a while I realized I had to go to the bar to get served, I went in and couldn’t find an open spot to order and realized they expected me to sift through the maskless crowd to put in an order. One of my friends who was vaccinated went in for me, but as he was doing this a drunk maskless individual came up and introduced himself and flung his hand forward for a lusty handshake. Again, I say kindly I’m not shaking hands right now, and he immediately says “f you, this place is about as bad as it gets for covid, so who the f are you?” And grabs my shoulders and starts shouting profanities at me without a mask on. I hated this experience and the really poor way this bar is handling the pandemic. If you even take COVID moderately seriously, do not go here—it is an anti maskers haven. BEWARE. I am now taking extra precautions everywhere I go to make sure I’m not putting anyone at risk.

Masks required while not eating and drinking.. friendly staff, attentive bartender. Ordered the chicken nachos, really good! Great music too. Perfect date night experience.

One of my favorite places to drink. As you walk you will enjoy both the light stickiness of spilled top shelf liquors, as well as crunchy lil golden nuggets of organic food dropped on the floor. The bar features an aged smoked barrel scent and the dim lighting will seduce you. The open floorplan allows you to take in the sights and sounds of this darling EAV staple. The bathrooms are rustic, featuring windows from the 1930s, hand carved stone walls and are pleasantly decorated with local art and wisdom filled quotes from patrons past. May your drinks be strong and your bartender stronger.

I went to The Glenwood for a late afternoon lunch on 10/31/2020. While there, the power went out and the restaurant was unable to accept our payment (debit card). We were given 2 options: 1go to the ATM or 2allow them to write down the card number and run it once the power was restored. Of course we were uncomfortable with option #2, so we had to go to the ATM. We asked for a discount (i.e. 10% - which came to $5.41for the inconvenience and we were denied by the manager.The manager was EXTREMELY rude and insisted the power outage wasnt his problem, it was GA Powers problem. Our frustration was that the restaurant shifted their inability to accept our form of payment to us as the patrons. Further, once we advised we would return with cash for our bill, we were questioned by the manager about whether we would actually return.Finally, when I returned with the payment and advise that we werent satisfied with how we were treated, the manager was rude again. I stated that it was my first time at the restaurant and I would not return. The managers response was simply, "Perfect!"

I ordered a brisket sandwich and fries! It was so delicious! My drink order was long island and house red wine. Both of the drinks were great! I will definitely come again!

Drinks are fairly priced and the crowd here is always friendly. Bar staff is usually pretty on point. I usually come here with freinds more well off then myself and bring a flask to keep up on a budget and the staff usually doesnt mind as long as youve got a beer in your hand as well.

This isnt the place to go if youre from out of town or trying to impress your Buckhead friends. Its a pretty beat up place, filled with mostly regulars. The bathrooms are never clean (-1 star). The food is pretty decent. The patio is very nice to hang out on and now that there is no smoking inside, its much more enjoyable to get drunk there. Mike, Emma, Rachel, Zach are all great bartenders and its always nice to see them behind the bar, theyre really the only thing that keeps us coming back to be honest. Again, its a very EAV crowd, with mostly regulars filling their bar. Dont expect "Buckhead" type service or atmosphere when you go here, which, gross, anyway. If youre down for pretty decent priced drinks and a good time, its a good place to go. Even at 1 in the afternoon.

I love it because its laid back good atmosphere,friendly crowd has an outside deck where you could basically have your own party and to boot only some of the best food youll ever taste prepared by top notch chefs....quick and friendly service.

Service was friendly. The sweet potato fries are great! I look forward to trying the mozzarella cheese sticks. The brisket is tasty and sauce has just the right kick. You seat yourself. The back smokers deck is spacious and comfy with tables.

Our last place of the night. We went to this bar after a full night of going from place to place. This was my 1st trip to Atlanta and my partner wanted it to be great. One of his friends was djin on the night (Saturdayso we went by to show some support. We arrived and was asked for ID, which was cool. We got on, its wasnt the cleanest bar we went to. We were going to buy food and some drinks. My partner asked the lady behind the bar for a menu and she just threw it down. I was not impressed. The music was good. We didnt stay for that long because of the service. I was ready to spend some money too, as it was my last full night in the city. We wont be back.

I dont hate the place, at all. It has much more potential than what its doing. The location is awesome, parking kinda sucks, the food is good(bigger portions), the crowd is really chill and laid back and the bartender was good. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of her job. So overall my experience was cool just the Salad needs more Spring mix.

This place is awesome indoors is not kid friendly because its a smoking bar. But we was accommodated an sat on the patio with our goddaughter..the food was fresh,hot and really good. Waitress was awesome she even made a covered cup for my 3yr old goddaughter...loved this place

My favorite bar. Period. Trivia night is great. Food is great. Drinks are well priced. Bartender are freaking awesome. Has a really nice laid back vibe most nights. Weekends or sport events can change the bar to a more energetic environment which is still a great time. All in all, I will always recommend this bar to anyone I know.

This was my first time here. I met my friend for and early dinner and drinks. They had great mimosas and we got the pretzel and beer cheese, which was sooo good. We also each got a burger, which was huge so neither of us could finish it. The service was great as well. I definitely enjoyed myself and my friend did too. We will be back!

Fun ,up beat and lively place. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended.
