Chef Marcus Wareing's modernised British menu in grand dining room of Victorian railway hotel.
A friend got married here and I was in the bridal party. While the actual hotel building is historic and gorgeous, the interior and - most importantly - the service lets it down. The bride was offered a free upgrade to a suite the night before, which was a a lovely gesture. However on the morning of the wedding, requested refreshments (champagne and orange juicefailed to arrive after over an hour of waiting and multiple follow up calls to the desk. No fewer than three people in our party had to go down in person and ask for these to be delivered before in-room dining deigned to bring these to the room. The hotel were also responsible for organising cars from the hotel to the wedding venue at the scheduled time. 15 minutes before departure, the bride received a text from the hotel simply to say that the cars “would be late” - no new ETA, rationale, or apology provided. One car eventually turned up, then another appeared after a 10 minute delay - adding more stress and uncertainty to the wedding morning. The pièce de resistance, however, came when the bride and groom returned to the hotel in the evening. The hotel informed them that they had not been able to gather the bride’s few belongings from the upgraded suite to relocate them to their originally booked room, and so would be billing the happy couple for both the room they booked (£800AND also charging for the suite at an additional cost of £1300. Needless to say they were not pleased and swiftly informed hotel management that they would not be paying for the additional room, which I believe was later resolved - however not before putting a very sour finish on what was supposed to be the best day of their lives. For a five-star establishment I am shocked and disgusted at the level of service. Despite the plush setting, I have genuinely been better served in Travelodges. The experience delivered here does not in any way match the price tag or reputation, and you’d be well advised to avoid.
Really bad experience here, the room was okay but I paid for a breakfast and then the staff quibbled over whether I paid for it or not.I was travelling with a top band and the staff treated me like I was a scoundrel looking for a free meal.Everyone makes mistakes but to be treated like a criminal is unacceptable!Needs some serious level of investigation. Disgusting behaviour.Overall a waste of money,if you want a feeling of contempt for spending an excess amount of money then youre welcome to it.
Five* Hotel and hotel room costing £300 a night. Turned up at 14:40 with check in at 15:00, only to be told we would have to wait another 20 minutes. Thats cool we were early, we will take a seat. 35 minutes go by and I go back... O sorry sir your room wont be ready for another hour. Taking the time too 16:35. That was really not good enough as my wife wanted to freshen up from the train trip from Manchester. In the end she ended up getting changed in the spa which wasnt ideal.Ive stopped in a lot of hotels with work and for £300 I was expecting something nice. Walked into the room and it was a ok but not £300 nice, no bath, no tea, only 1 little pot of milk. Im talking the shot pots nothing bigger. No curtains to keep the sunlight out. Which woke us up at 6:30. Worst was the pillows. Might as well not had one. In the end I had to wrap a nightgown up and sleep on that.On check out we mentioned how bad from start to finish the stay was. Only to be offered breakfast. Which we declined due to having other plans.Next time Im stopping at the travel lodge.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Blown away by the imposing architecture of the outside that continued and didnt disappoint inside. Rooms were luxurious and sympathetic to the style/history of the building. Staff are amazing - from the minute you arrive at the entrance they are attentive, helpful and friendly. A real credit. Food was very good and we made use of the pool and Spa facilities.Located next to St. Pancras International it is ideally situated for all areas of Would definitely stay again - if youre looking for a top hotel it wont disappoint.
More staff needed on reception, we had a lengthy wait to check in. The hotel itself is beautiful but our room was basic (and not cheap). We arrived in the middle of a heat wave, yet there was no water in our bedroom, in fact the mini bar was empty. Staff are friendly but run off their feet. Breakfast is served in a beautiful part of the hotel but again very standard fare which was disappointing. I booked this hotel as a treat for my husband’s 60th birthday, prior to a trip to Paris on Eurostar. Overall just an ok experience.
I love this hotel. Sure, the rooms can be a little dated, and you may be staring at a brick wall if you dont get an upper room, but the hotel itself is so dang cool. And its in so many London movies, you get a kick out of seeing it every time. Not to mention its right next to both Kings Cross, and the gateway train station to Paris.
3 star hotel at best. The service is slow to begin with, their smelly room is very depressing with a small window that doesn’t open, the design is very poor with prison green wall. The bed is uncomfortable and the toilet is disgusting (old and poor flushingthe toilet seat is stained, I guess it’s not a thing for a 5 star hotel to want to invest in. The hotel food and menu was below standard with very few vegetarian/vegan options. Save your money and choose another hotel.
Ive stayed here in the past and been quite happy, but this time, the experience is NOT measuring up for the price paid for a room, either in terms of technical services or people services. On arrival, I put some laundry in the provided bag, filling out all paperwork -- noting that the price for laundry is absolutely outrageous to the point that it probably costs more to wash 2 days clothes than it does to order a very nice dinner, including drinks at the hotels own restaurant. Housekeeping came to the room, and did not collect the laundry. I called the front desk. They apologized and said someone would come up shortly to collect the laundry. When I returned in the evening, nobody had collected the laundry. The next morning, I left for the day, again placing the laundry in an unmissable location. Housekeeping came to the room, and again they did not take the laundry. Again I called the front desk, they apologized, but this time they did not say they would send someone right away. Instead they said "Can you please call us just before 9am to make sure that someone picks it up?" Um... why on Gods Green Earth do I need to call them again in the morning? Is there no way of them entering such information into their system? Is there no way they could have sent someone to pick it up? So basically right now they have 3 strikes against them for responsiveness or consideration for a guests needs. And all this is just so I can have permission to be robbed blind with their exorbitant laundry fee.But wait, thats not all. The internet does not work. This is a high-end hotel, located next to a major tech company office, where it is understood that many guests will require the capability of performing business activities from the hotel. No internet. It comes on sporadically, and is so slow as to be unusable. Currently I am posting this review by tethering my laptop to my phone! And I am 100% sure this is not a "me problem" because my colleagues who is staying here also indicated that they have no internet.I cannot say that I will be recommending this to colleagues in the future, despite its great location, and very comfortable rooms. When youre in the hospitality and services business, you need to deliver on the hospitality and services -- and as noted above, I gave them a chance here.
Stayed for 7 nights (Aug 2022)Location and common area facilities were amazing! Beautiful building. Worthy of a 5* hotel.Service was definitely lacking for a 5* hotel, closer to a 3* or 4* hotel. Door men were outright rude sometimes, questioning if I was a guest once even. Did not feel comfortable walking into the hotel after that incident. The saving grace were the managers at the hotel desk, quite courteous, and able to assist with questions and requests.Rooms are solidly in 3* hotel category. I understand that in the UK hotel rooms arent as big and luxurious as other parts of the world, but this doesnt deserve a 5* hotel rating. Window is tiny and with no view, furnishings old, not 100% clean either.
This is a difficult review to write, as a lot went on. Start with the positives.Wonderful location, the afternoon tea was great all bar the gluten free scones. These were very bread like and not as good as we have been having in local shops, at a fraction of the cost.A big negative was the service charge. We asked a member of staff if they got the 12.5% service charge. She replied, we are told we get it at the end of each month? But she didn’t think she had every been given any? So we tipped cash.
This is a stunning hotel but there are many areas for improvement. I had the superior room which had badly chipped furniture, where the plywood was hanging off. I asked for the room to be cleared and made up at 10am. By 5pm it still hadn’t been. I had to walk to reception to ask as they were not picking up the phone. On checkout day, the cleaner walked in at 9am!!! Despite checkout being 12pm. We were asleep and thankfully not doing anything else! The queue for checkout was slow and long. I could have dropped the key cards off and not waited but I wanted to ensure I was not being charged for anything as noticed there was a £200 pending on my credit card which is a deposit which nobody mentioned to me. Must have been in small print somewhere. ..The hotel is beautiful as is the lobby and bar. Great location. But for 5 star and for £300+ a night, this isn’t ok.
Rooms are comfy. The check in staff are very friendly and helpful. The front door staff are very helpful.Thank you Benjamin! If wanting a specific room or view specify in your request. As my flight was delayed in to London, I checked in late, and was given the room with a not that great view.I was so tired from my flight that I did not ask for another room.*Just giving a word of advise*There was a tour of the hotel for guests Saturdays at 1030a, wish I was able to attend. Loads of history with this hotel.
I stayed here for 5 days on a business trip. Mixed feelings. On the plus side - the building, lobby, and restaurant are gorgeous. The room service is excellent. On the other hand, the rooms themselves are nothing special. The TV was buggy and kept crashing/freezing. The breakfast is ok but not worth the 30 pounds after already having paid over $350/night. I had dinner at the bar once and the food was quiet bad. My recommendation: come visit the Booking Office and lobby for a drink sometime or take a tour of the building, but not worth staying here.
I accidentally left a necklace that belonged to my mother in one of the hotel robes. I called the next day and Nain from loss prevention (I believe that’s how he said his name is speltand the housekeeping team searched tirelessly. They called me multiple times with updates. They ended up searching through every single robe in laundry until they found it. Absolutely above and beyond and I’m so happy to be reunited with an item of such high sentimental value. Couldn’t be more appreciative of such amazing staff!
Dear Sir / MadamI checked out of the hotel this morning - and am sending this email by way of providing feedback on a very disappointing stay:In my party, I was traveling with myself and three children (aged 16, 15 and 7 years old). Prior to booking, I tried for a long time to speak with the hotel directly about the best room configuration. However, no one would ever pick up so I was incredibly frustrated. I did speak with the Marriott Bonvoy team who advised me on what to book for interconnecting rooms to suit my party - at the time, I did specifically ask that I wanted our stay to be in the older wing (Chambersand not the other wing. I emphasised this many times. I went ahead with booking online - only to arrive and be put in the wrong part of the hotel.I tried several different methods of giving this feedback - but was either dismissed or ignored. And trying to call through on the guest services number is no use - no one picks up. EVER. Just such a terrible way to treat your customers.Simple things you would expect from a 5 star hotel - no one to help with bags when you arrive, huge queues for check out and check in. Dirty bathrooms, lack of F&B facilities (the lobby bar shuts when?!).In the lobby bar area (while you waityou cannot even sit down without being required to spend a minimum of GBP16 per head … great way to extort money out of your customers while you face huge queuesOur rooms were so disappointing. The hotel rooms are honestly like staying in a Travel lodge … old furniture, small windows, no bath, accessible toilet (for some reason we were given an accessible room - none of us are in a wheelchair!), right outside the elevator … it smells too.Even more frustrating, I booked the two rooms together (see email belowand yet only one shows up on m Marriott Bonvoy app. I received a letter from the hotel asking for payment details - which makes me made as I provided reception with my credit card details on check in and have three charges against my card already (for nothing).Honestly I cannot believe I paid GBP850 per night for what I received. The total lack of care or interest was pretty offensive.I fully suspect you will ignore this email - like you ignored my requests, calls and messages. At the very least, please can you link the two rooms to my Marriott Bonvoy account so I receive the points - no idea why this wasn’t done at time of booking. Totally your error. Again!
Place to gained traditional experience and good customer service. Price is expensive and it is more than what they offered us. Room are old type. But gained overall good experience.
Amazing Location, prices are a bit steep but the convenience it provided my family was so worth it. We stayed at their Chamber Suite and it was amazing. Me and my family felt like Royalty during our stay. Amazing hotel. Outside seems like a typical historic building but inside is truly astounding.
Wouldnt stay here again unless I was using Eurostar.I burned points as the rates were extremely high due to the Farnborough Air Show. I was in room 127 in the Barlow wing. I didnt get a chance to even see if the Chambers Club was open. The main Booking Room bar is a very nice place to have a drink at night and the menu is solid. I didnt think breakfast was that special. And lunch out in the lobby was just ok (we sat down at 1130am but were told we couldnt order lunch until 12noonSort of felt like school.I will admit that the location is excellent - as I came in on Eurostar from Brussels. The room was a little tired and scuffed, mini bar didnt work, but thankfully the AC held up - because I stayed here during the great british meltdown! Im sure I had a standard room with a king bed - and there was plenty of room, bathroom was clean, water pressure ok.And for Marriott Bonvoy members, dont expect any real benefits, eg no complimentary breakfast etc. Status on Marriott is largely irrelevant now.
Awesome room. Just stayed there one night to catch an early Eurostar. The Air Condition didnt work but it wasnt too bad. The WiFi signal in the room was very weak, too weak for work.
The hotel requires updating. Minor repairs should be a priority. Bathroom faucet leaks, door hinges need oil, handrail needs attention and poor room configuration. For 750 BPS per night, I expected more. The big plus is having access to the Chambers Club.
The place is amazing, great views and spots, great reception. There are different rooms fitting various events, with added services for guests. Even though very old, the facilities were beautiful and worked newly. Great for conferences, lodging, dinner and cocktail events.
Visited on February 2022 and was excited for me to stay in such great hotel with great services. The rooms is clean and welcoming. The overall hotel environment is perfect and the staff are friendly. The location at the St. Pancras Station is amazing for the people planning to use the train to travel in UK.
I adore the architecture, facade and location. The lobby is massive with great seatings and wonderful teas. But there is really not an area where we can sit around visiting with friends or family unless you ordered something. Sometimes we just wanted to sit after a long day and watch people. There is an outdoor area in the sun but often its used or its closed on Sunday. It is very convenient though if you are traveling within the UK or Europe CIA trains the St Pancrass station is literally next door and Kings Cross is a minute walk. This fabulous architecture was nearly demolished before Marriott decided to refurbish. Walk up further for 15 minutes and you would be at the canal area where Google spent billions turning it into a tourists hub.
What a super place and good range of sandwiches, cakes and tea to have during our afternoon tea at the weekend and in such lovely surroundings. The service in the restaurant was also lacking. More staff is required. But try talking to a human to discuss booking an afternoon tea a few weeks ago was like getting blood out of a stone! No matter what number you pressed once the phone was automatically answered there was absolutely no chance of talking to anyone. Tried pressing every number/department to discuss booking an afternoon tea but no, was like the “Marie Celeste”! Even tried pressing the number to book a room but got automatically put through to the USA! But try and be patient as the end result and experienced of afternoon tea is good.
Dirty carpets and slow service. Very standard rooms for a 5 star. More like a poor 4 star facilities wise. The bar area is nice but the rooms where you spend most of the time is a real disappointed. The gym smells of mould and really could do with a clean. This is only still open because of the location
Disappointingly, there is not a lot going for this hotel other than high ceilings and its architecture; the fixtures and fittings appear tired in the Chambers Suites with cushions and buttons missing on sofas. The water pressure is abysmal and to charge over £650 a night I feel is a rip off. I would expect the mini bar to be complimentary and not be charged £5 for a bottle of water, that too as a Bonvoy Platinum Member. Breakfast and Dinner was excellent though and worthy of 2/5. I’m knocking off an additional star because the restaurant staff stopped and refused access - when we tried to exit on to the platform; me, my wife and baby in a stroller which forced us to exit through hotel reception, all the way round and back inside the station. On two separate occasions, whilst dining, we saw staff, other guests entering/exiting via the same doors with staff holding doors open, too. I could not possibly recommend this place. There are better suites, consistent standards of service and accommodation to be experienced in London at this price point.
Dont forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. Ive been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure wont regret it.Wonderful stay and staff ‘in training’ were so professional and friendly. Melissa specifically when we arrived was fantastic. Beautiful room and amenities. Cocktails ‘off menu’ were perfect. Worth treating yourself for high quality. Breakfast buffet surprisingly vegan friendly too
Beautifully restored old grand dame of a hotel. Fabulous lobby and common rooms, which are spaces you want to spend time in. Great breakfast. Lovely spa. My room was in the extension and thus a little bland, but I had a great view of the Crick Institute.
5 star breakfast and at matching prices. The setting is historical, quiet, airy with excellent staff. We were there for breakfast only before joining Eurostar. It made for a good start to the week of our holidays.
This is a prestigious hotel and both the cost and experience reflect it.Two stars because they tried to charge my inexperienced mom a $70 fee for having an American card in the form of the classic card reader conversion markup scam - thank God for EU law forcing them to display the 3.5% markup so we noticed.Really, guys? I would expect better than this from such an expensive and otherwise lovely hotel. I have little doubt the substantial money you bring in from this trick helps your bottom line more than this review will hurt it.
This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location right above the tube station. You can get anywhere pretty quickly from this location. It is a very clean and nice hotel. Highly recommend.
Great service, good food, nice view.We had a party of 12 and found the service was was great. I didnt catch the names but they were brilliant, especially the waiter.A huge thank you.
Beautiful hotel. The ‘grand staircase’ is located through to the left, as you walk into the main hallway, and is absolutely incredible and worth seeing! We had a pleasant hotel stay - most of the rooms are in the new part of the building, and not up the grand staircase. Rooms are very large with big walk-in showers. The let down was the waiting time for any drinks in the hotel bar (separate to the Booking Office bar). Whether it was an evening aperitif, cocktails, or coffee at breakfast, expect a 20 minute wait. The food at breakfast is exceptional with an impressive range of foods including smoked salmon and pancakes, and a chef cooking eggs to order (including delicious omelettes where you can select your fillings).During our stay, there was always a long queue at the reception desks of people waiting to check in and check out, making the check-out process very long, when really you should just be able to drop off your key card and go.
With so many hotels to choose in London, please dont pick here! The hotel is lovely but the rooms are SO bad, absolutely tiny with no natural light. We requested a change to our room and were told someone would be in touch, they never did.I live in London and stayed here for some luxury but my home is far nicer. No one ever answers the phone so room service is essentially not available and you arent allowed to go down, order at the bar and have it sent up.As mentioned, to get to the spa, you have to walk through the lobby bar. So odd.I complained after at the end of April and sent 3-5 follow up emails but no one has addressed my issues. I see now why, as many reviewers here say the same thing.
Very disappointing hotel - would not recommend. On the plus side, the hotel is in a very convenient location with Kings Cross / St Pancras stations within a minutes walk. The external architecture is also very impressive. However, other than that, the hotel fell well short of my expectations, especially given the price and the fact it markets itself as a high-end luxury hotel. Some issues included:- The hotel is significantly understaffed, such that no one would answer the phone at reception. Every time I had an issue, I would have to walk down to the lobby (note that this is a big hotel and only has two elevatorsand had to wait in a long queue with arriving guests to speak to a staff member. Each time I raised this, I was told "we are very busy right now", regardless of the hour.- Despite paying for a higher tier room ("Super King"), the room had a very small window and overlooked an internal courtyard. I was not informed of this, nor did it match the photos on the website for this room category. The website also doesnt disclose that rooms may be internal. Every other high-end hotel Ive stayed at clearly discloses this online, and also has given me a heads up when booking that the room will be internal.- A staff member arranged to meet me at my room at a specified time to resolve an issue. They never turned up, meaning I had to go back down to reception (see above re phones not being answered), and I was told, again without apology, that they were busy with other issues so I would just have to wait. Even a quick phone call to let me know that they had been held up would have helped the situation.Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential given the location and architecture, but it falls short in almost every service category. I would not recommend staying here - this should be a two or three-star hotel, and priced accordingly.
I was so looking forward to staying here after Covid, however disappointed. Problems from the outset securing the booking, as the staff couldnt speak English and then suddenly charged 100 pounds more with no explanation what so ever for why. Overpriced and breakfast not included ( regarding the above). No confirmation by e mail re the booking. There is no where in the public areas to sit and enjoy as all the tables, seats etc are reserved. Also the concierge didnt book taxis as requested so that was a waste of time. Ordered a cocktail and that didnt arrive either in a timely manner. Wish we had stuck with our original plan and stayed at St Martins, at least you get breakfast in with the deal. I wont be coming back here.
Mixed feelings about the hotel:- Breakfast food was excellent - but I found shards of glass in my coconut yoghurt, some large enough to properly injure me. I notified the waitresses, who called in their manager. The manager apologized, mentioned that she notified the chef, and offered to waive fees for my breakfast. The breakfast fees were included with my room reservation so nothing got waived anyway. But beyond that, I was surprised that a manager’s reaction to having fed glass to a customer, was as light as that (when really they should have done whatever it took for me not to sue)- Hotel premises are just gorgeous, but the rooms themselves are a bit disappointing in my opinion: i was staying in a Chambers suite, which, beyond its really high ceiling, didn’t differ much from a standard room. The noise and high luminosity from the station (my room had a view inside St Pancras station, and curtains would not close entirelyalso made for really complex nights.- Speaking of my room view, i asked for a room with no station view when I checked in absurdly early. When I came back at night to pick up my keys, i was surprised that I was assigned a room with station view. When I asked to change in accordance with my initial request, i was told that a mistake had been made but that no other similar room was available and that there was nothing that could be done for me. The hotel staff was genuinely nice and i was in a rush, so i didn’t complain further, but was surprised that such a high standing (and over expensivehotel could just ask one of their customers so naturally that they made a mistake but won’t even try to fix.Once again the premises are gorgeous, the staff is really nice (but powerless), food is excellent (when it doesn’t contain elements that can kill you), and the hotel is very conveniently located. But it was my second time at Renaissance St Pancras and while I was on the fence the first time, I’m this time 100% sure i won’t book there again. It’s a combination of too many little (and not so littlethings.
We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2018, and it was the highlight of our hotel stays, across Europe and Scandinavia! The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay extra special and will try to accommodate, no matter what! Can’t wait to go back this June 2022!
Beautiful, historic building with modern comfortable rooms. The staff is very attentive and friendly. A great location with access to many of the sites.
I have a bias towards the positive and usually emphasize nice things in reviews but I have to say I had a very bad stay in the Renaissance. The room feels like a bunker with the small window, the toilet I had to clean with an antiseptic towel because it was so gross, there is nothing beyond a sandwich available after 21.30. All this for 500 GBP the night… 5 star prices, 2 star hotel in my view, 1 star rating value for money. Go to other hotels…
Beautiful exterior and the Booking Office bar looks very attractive. Most rooms are in the back in a wing that is functional but not at all special. Chambers club is accessible to Titanium members - worth a visit for looks but service is a bit slow and the food was unimpressive. For that kind of money I would go elsewhere next time.
Great place to meet and have a beverage. Reception has a bar and a selection of seating. Chellist was playing when we arrived. For the bar/restaurant you need to book during busy periods. Some of the staff are a bit confrontational and balshy, I was trying to meet a friend who was staying and was treated like I was some kind of intruder.
Absolutely breathtaking place. The staircase on level 1 is so grand. Spa, although on the expensive side but understandable, is a must visit. Emily is great at making you feel welcome! Thank you
Beautiful property in great location. I would not stay anywhere else when traveling to London by Eurostar. Eurostar trains, several other rail services, and a tube station are steps away. A large shopping center with restaurants, grocery market, pharmacies, etc. is attached. Great amenities and staff. Suites are very spacious and worth the $$$; Chambers Club is very nice. My wife enjoyed the large bathtub and spa.
Update:I requested laundry service yesterday and in the call confirmed it will be completed by today morning. By 12pm when I came for pickup, the found the laundry was not even sent out for clean. I have never been so disappointed by a hotel, not to mention the is is a 5 star. They do NOT deserve it.Stayed in the hotel for two nights. The room was nice, although an old building but was remodeled and inside was clean. However, the customer service is really poor. First the check-in concierge was supposed to provide a paper and give a brief intro about the facilities. Turned out I needed to call them from the room asking for basic information, and the problem was its very hard to reach the customer service, most of the time no one picked up the calls. They seemed to be short-staffed, the second day I spent more than two hours to request for bottled waters, again I had to call them many many times to talk to a real person. After 1+ hour nothing was sent to my room so I called again, the front desk finally told me they cannot provide me complimentary water. They could have explained this to me in the first place. This is really unprofessional. Literally these little things ruined the overall experience, would not recommend staying here.
Excellent service from check-in straight to check-out. We were here for 10 days and had 3 separate bookings: a combo of miles, corporate travel and personal travel. This was have been complicated in any hotel but the check-in staff at Renaissance gave us the same room throughout our stay and ensured that everything was sorted without a problem. The pool and facilities are a good size for central london. The cleaning was also very complete - attention to details and not stingy with products. Will definitely use this as my base in London going forward.
Great historical place in the heart of London, inside the Eurostar station. Very practical to travel to France and catch your train at the door of your hotel room ! The historical architecture is really outstanding and the friendly staff. Special thank you Stephanie (waitress of the restaurantwho is so kind and caring.
Lovely british building... but absolutely shocked not worth the cost ...dirty room, hairs all left in bath, saggy bed, flat pillows, stained towels, shabby furniture, not even a hook to hang a wet coat.....absolutely gross.Any one going hoping to use the spa you have to walk through the whole length of the main entrance .....awful experience never againGive me premier inn plus rooms any day you might not get a free shower cap buy at least you get clean room and a good nights sleep for half the price!
Absolutely dreamy hotel, not cheap but such a nice place to stay. They have great food and drink offerings, and the staff are so kind and attentive. Its in a great place if you are taking the Eurostar, but also just to be in central without it being too hectic, you can reach a bunch of central London locations in 30 minutes on foot (or in a chair). Its also great for wheelchair access, and their accessible room has a brilliant bathroom
Here with a larger group and the service and personal attention throughout has been exceptional. Everything from the room to the food are 1st class. The staff are all friendly and acknowledge guests, nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to Giulia on the front desk. She went beyond what any visitor could expect to adapt and cater for my needs. For anyone to shine here is hard and she really stood out. Great hotel, Thank you.
