Had a lovely stay at the Gibson. Above all, I found the staff consistently friendly and attentive. A particular shout-out is deserved to Muhammad (Aliwho works in the bar area. He is the best and made our stay truly memorable!

Our flight was cancelled and we were staying in Gibson after a long and stressful day. I want to say a huge thanks for all the staff, starting from the reception to the restaurant. We were feeling so good and welcome.About the hotel: the rooms were surprisely amazing, spotless, worth to come back! Also there is a sauna & gym on the site.A special thanks to Andrea for helping with organaizing a Birthday dinner for my friend, really appreciated!

Service a bit slow at the bar, at first but soon picked up as it got busier.Had a good time ,very convenient to the 3arena.

We found the experience at the Gibson to be great. Suitable parking underneath and fantastic facilities i.e gym, steam room and sauna. Will be back.

Was here for a conference. Great beak out areas, well proportioned conference room and set up, great wife and refreshments. Only thing is sat nav didn’t take me to the parking correctly. But was lucky to get on street parking. Yay!

Ill start with the fact that this place serves amazing breakfasts!The money value for how clean the bathroom was - terrible though. Mold, spider webs hanging from the ceiling and dirty walls/floor are difficult not to notice when the place is actually getting cleaned. But it wasnt. More than £200 for one night in such conditions? Absolutely not. The balcony glass door was dirty too.Please hire better cleaners.

Attended a conference at the Gibson hotel. Really lovely, modern, nice facilities.Wasnt difficult to get to and the area has really improved, with museums, the Liffey, concert venues nearby. Nice walk into the city centre.There was a cold buffet lunch which was very nice, fresh and tasty.As I wasnt staying I dont know what the rooms were like.

Nice hotel, location is good. Pricey for what you get in the rooms and there was A LOT of building work going on when we were there but staff were lovely. Good stay if you have a gig or for 1 night ☺️

Booked this hotel due to its location as we were heading to a concert in the 3Arena. Could not have been any closer to the venue, plus the Luas drops you to the front door of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was amazing, definitely recommend eating here. Queues for check in were crazy....but we were all given glasses of prosecco while we waited, so worth the wait!!

The location is handy with good transport links into the city centre. Rooms are clean and the breakfast was decent for buffet style. Price is very reasonable in comparison to the competition.

Well located with ample parking, delicious food and friendly staff, staying on business but would return as tourist.

Had midday social meeting. Very nice staff, calmly efficient and polite. Lovely surroundings, except for two ugly prints of Bono, (havent we all suffered enough already. Remember Killarney in 1979, PaulAnyway, the hotel itself was great. Will be back.

Decided to kill some time before a show in the 3Arena, but ended up having dinner. Excellent service and great food. Highly recommend their spicy wings - slow cooked in a hot marinara sauce. Heaven!

Absolutely the perfect place to stay if you have an event in the 3arena. Its literally right in front of it and is so handy. Theres also a Luas stop right in front of the hotel too. Rooms are very nice and very airy. Cant go wrong with the Gibson hotel. They even made us a pizza at 3am. Great service.

Stayed here for one night a few weeks back in a two person room. The room itself was fairly spacious with a good view of Dublin, plus the bathroom was large and accommodating. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful despite our late arrival and early morning departure, with special thanks to Gloria at the front desk for taking the time to answer our questions flawlessly, she was great! The only downside is the price but it wasnt that bad considering how close you are to the 3 Arena and the City Centre itself.

Lovely staffGreat food in the bar.Had to wait for 45mins for food as a lot of people eating before the gig next door as this hotel is beside the 3 arena.. plus car park on the other side if neededI will be back as room is a good size for two.

Have stayed here a few times over the years when visiting Dublin. Generally has been always very good. However recently disappointed to find that we’d just hand soap for showering with rather than the complementary shampoo and shower gel usually provided by a hotel of such esteem. Make sure you’re prepped!

the location was okay, the room was clean, and the staff at the reception desk was kind. But I cant believe this is a 4-star hotel. The fridge in the room didnt work as the socket didnt plug in (we could see), so we asked the room keeper to check as she came to bring sleepers. She didnt check the plug, and kept saying with very annoying sound "it is working". So I explained it didnt plug in, and she checked she found the fridge didnt plug in, so she tried to plug in a few times, and suddenly "this is working I dont know whatever Ha" then she left. I felt so bad. Also, there are no amenities only one shampoo. No minibar in the room, no omelette or pancake from the breakfast. I very much regret choosing this hotel and paying that much money.

Pack your bags. Get to Dublin. Stay here! Hotel from the future! Very cool rooms. Location is at the docks with a handy tram that takes you into the tourist section of Dublin. Love this super cool hotel.

I needed to cancel my reservation with Gibson Hotel on the day the website said I could cancel and receive a refund. My flight was cancelled three different times by the airlines but Gibson Hotel refused to give me a full refund! 😡. They stated I cancelled after 2pm so I will be charged. I tried to contacting but no answer! I purchased insurance but the the insurance does not cover flight cancellations. This trip was for my daughter’s wedding but Gibson Hotel left a bad impression on how they handled this situation

Attended event in conference rooms. Stunning views and beautifully designed areas for main hotel. Will definitely visit again as a social occasion.

Stayed here for 2 nights as we came up to go to Comic Con. Looking at it from a complete over view the experience was fine. The staff were accommodating and friendly but overall a bit lazy when it came to the restaurant. There was about 6 of them there and they took ages to take our order and food took a while aswell especially with their being only 2 other tables. Our room on the other hand was more negative - it was dirty and not cleaned properly. It’s a perfectly fine hotel if your staying for gigs or conventions close by and the transport into the city via the Luas and the bus is great but it’s not very professional and well maintained.

Booked first dates restaurant for an anniversary. When we arrived it was closed. I got no notice so I could try salvage, had to have a anniversary meal in the bar. Voiced and emailed my disappointment, they still have not emailed me back after two weeks now. Terrible customer service experience and service.

We went for lunch at the Gibson Hotel as part of a reality TV show they were filming at the hotel. We had a great time as background people and we also got to have an amazing meal. The cocktails were pretty good too.

Hotel was very busy because of Andre Rieu concert. Had to queue for ages to check in. Lovely bedrooms. Important to reserve a table at the restaurant. We used the open access Hemi Bar/Bistro instead. Very comfortable. Great buzz. Very busy. Service was a bit touch and go. Lovely staff but they seemed overwhelmed at times - drink orders never arrived, twice. Food served to wrong tables. However, waiter Eric from Malaysia saved the day. He ensured that we got all our drinks and a delicious meal to our table. Reasonably priced. The Gibson Hotel needs more staff like Eric. Would stay again.

0:30 AM we stood in front of the hotel, the flight was delayed, we had a rental car, the public parking connected to the hotel was closed and… everything went perfect!The night staff organized immediately two security guards to park our car, we had a fast and uncomplicated check in an were in bed 15 minutes later ☺️The stay was nice, also the staff, the breakfast was better than expected in ireland and everything was clean and nice!

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff. Great bar with a superb balcony. Straight opposite the 3 Arena perfect for concerts. Very handy for getting the tram into town.

Room clean location really good. But the service misfortune if someone asked for something. In the restaurant, at breakfast, the coffee machine very often did not have coffee, and the lady whose duty For refilling coffee, she rolled her eyes when asked about coffee. I know there are no people to work but getting everyone to work has a huge impact on the rating of the hotel. No expression of involvement like at a funeral. But well probably come to see if anything has changed

For the past 3 days our experience has been pretty positive at the Gibson. Then the night before we left We were concerned about the location of the bus stop where we needed to catch the Aircoach to the Dublin airport in the morning. No one was at the desk so my wife knocked on a door nearby. A woman came out and we asked for directions to the bus stop that we needed. She said that it was just on the other side of the 3 Arena and We asked if she would show us on the map and she said that she could not. When we asked if there was anyone else there that might help us she said that she was alone. We asked her to show us on the map and as she walked away (it turns out to go get a mapshe rolled her eyes and shook her head as she walked away.After she brought the map over she tried to tell us that the bus stop was on the other side of the river, despite having told us that it was just on the other side of the arena.We have been traveling through Europe for the past 9 months and never have we been treated this way or lied to. This hotel should have spent less on decoration details and more on training its post-covid employees. The restaurant could be better run by training its employees as well. You might do well by looking at how the Lumin Hotel in Lisbon is run.

Wont be back. Very overpriced for what we got. €200 for 2 small single beds, tiny room. Front desk team not very welcoming. Room definitely needs upgrading - room very dull and dreary.

Large hotel, sterile and impersonal. Staff in general not too friendly. Rooms reasonably roomy and clean. Breakfast disappointing. Way too expensive. The kind of hotel when you just need a bed - and then get out asap.

A group of seven of us arrived for an early meal before a concert in the 3 Arena. We were immediately told they wanted the table back at 6pm. Having been told that this had not been mentioned when booking the table, Gabriel, from Venezuela, immediately said he would take care of us.What followed was a lovely relaxed 2.5 hours with good food and good service in a busy restaurant. As we headed to the concert we all agreed that we would return.

Room was €199. No bath, shower door had a gap so water leaked onto the floor. Didnt like having to scan a QR code to use hotel facilities - room service was extremely confusing and the menu was very, very limited. Staff were fantastic, very pleasant and helpful all of these things were boeyond their control.Gteat lovation but very disappointed with the restaurant menu and room service.Wont be staying again..Sta

Location ideal for 3Arena - stayed there overnight as we took in The Script Concert.Great buzz. Vibrant. Modern and most unusual layout with Reception on the 3rd floor but it works. Spacious rooms. Service excellent. Scrumptious breakfast with so much choice. Colours vibrant and warm. Very calm oasis with views looking out onto the River Liffey and Docklands from the bar and restaurant on the 3rd floor and directly across from the 3Arena.

Nice hotel can’t say much unfortunately as got in late at night and left by morning. But was still a pleasant stay big room with a nice big shower. Breakfast was ok could have been a bit better selection on the hot side but still a decent breakfast I’m sure for others. Lots of pastries

The Gibson is a really nice hotel with great amenities, friendly service, and comfortable rooms. Hotel has a coffee/alcohol bar and a nice restaurant on premises. Very nice concierge service. Location is really good and easy access to team, just outside main entrance, only very minor location issue and can also be a plus is that its at the end of the line and not centrally located in Dublin. Tram hours are good, but not for early morning starts.

I had room 301, the floor filthy with lots of stains, curtains wouldnt close as they were hanging from the ceiling, lamp broken hanging toward the window, 1 single bed looked like someone slept on it, the double bed also didnt felt clean, airconditioning made so much noise that it felt as if the ceiling would fall down, nowhere any soap to be found, shower, it was either boiling hot or boiling hot the temperature.To be honest, this was the worst ever room I had to spent the night.. perhaps it was the last room available?

We visited on 2nd May 2022. The location was good, the Luas (tram systemtakes you straight to the door. The staff were both friendly and helpful, however the room was SO NOT a 180-euro a night room. The bathroom, as you will see from the images, is in desperate need of a full refit!

This is a really great Hotel if you are attending a concert in the 3 arena you are only a stones throw away. You have to go two floors up to get to main reception which is fine but there is a cold cast around that part of the hotel. Nonetheless once you check in the room from what I experienced was really clean and spacious with a shower that felt like you were in a tropical rain forest. Breakfast was 10/10 lovely to see the self service buffet back. Price was good we got a deal with 15% off for staying two nights. If you do want to go out in the city for dinner like we did be mindful that you will need a taxi, or a about an hours walk. Staff were really helpful with booking a taxi for us. Overall a pleasant experience

If I could give this hotel no stars I would. We booked two interconnecting rooms , one triple and one double. On arrival the triple room was missing a bed and the interconnecting doors were both locked , so we requested assistance. A young girl knocked out hotel door and asked ‘did yis need something, what’s yer problem’ never in all my stays at a hotel has any member of staff spoken in such an unprofessional and deplorable manner. The service only continued to get worse at arrival for dinner we were placed at a wooden table with no cutlery, no napkins no candle , just nothing. We were celebrating an important birthday so we expressed we were unhappy with such an awful table , the waiter with little English shrugged and said well where would we want to sit. We were moved to another table also not set , and handed a paper menu with little to no options. After one hour sitting with little to no communication to staff no one came to take our order. We left and ate elsewhere. At breakfast we has to ask two different staff members on three different occasions for a jug of water for the table , which we struggled to get. The staff seem agitated, rude , unwilling and highly inexperienced/ unprofessional. The stay was overpriced and honestly ruined an important family weekend away.

Great location, tram right to it and across the road from the 3 arena so excellent location for concert attendees.All the staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming. And very helpfulRooms are clean and a decent size. Great shower 🚿 Breakfast is lovely

rooms were nice and fairly clean but the staff was pretty hit or miss. some were incredibly friendly, some were rude and fairly useless. service was especially bad in the conference room/dinner/welcome orientation for my group but the restaurant was pretty bad as well. front desk was exceptional however and house keeping was awesome! I will say, its fairly apparent that the management is not personally following up on quality throughout the hotel. there were a lot of little things not up kept like for example my shower door handle was completely loose and about to fall off. I would stay here again but theres definitely room for improvement.

Great city location Luas stop right outside and right beside the 3 Arena, ideal location if you are attending a concert. Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Food was of a very high standard, but it was a limited menu, more bar food menu than restaurant. We booked an executive double room, but Im afraid it was far from executive in size with no views. It was badly in need of some TLC. The carpet was stained and paint was chipped and the entrance to a slightly elevated bathroom was marked. The only redeeming feature was an excellent rain shower. The breakfast was super with lots of choice and again wonderful staff. Would I go back of course I would.

We arrived to check in at 3pm, as we were told that our room would be ready then, our room was not ready until 4. We were left waiting in a cold uncomfortable reception area. Staff seemed unconcerned about our wait.Room was basic, a wee bit grubby with stains on carpet and furniture.Restaurant was good and staff in the restaurant were very attentive, if we hadnt used the restaurant i wouldve only given 1 star.Overall not a great experience, more like a budget chain hotel than a 4 star.
