The Giant Forest - National park in Tulare, United States
The Giant Forest in Tulare
Description
Privilege
Just awesome with giant trees.
Great walk through the forest, accessible with wheelchair / stroller
The most beautiful place in America 🇺🇸
Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park
Beautiful and you can be on your own if you care to walk away from the crowded General Sherman area.We even crossed a bear very close to our trail
MoreA grove of giant redwoods or sequoias should be kept just as we keep a great and beautiful cathedral. Walking, I can almost hear the redwoods beating. And the oceans are above me here, rolling clouds, heavy and dark. It is winter and there is smoke from the fires. It is a world of elemental attention, of all things working together, listening to what speaks in the blood. Whichever road I follow, I walk in the land of many gods, and they love and eat one another. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands.
MoreI loved this place it is fascinating that you walk among higher tries that some skyscraper. I prefer this national park compared to Yosemite, it is more colorful and unic.
MoreGiant Sequoias everywhere.
A must see when in the area.
Deslumbrante a floresta e suas trilhas, local simplesmente fantatisco. Composto por diversar trilhas e paisagens.
MoreStrongly recommended!
Very impressive. If you leave near by and have not visited shame on you
Museum is still closed as of 6/27, but store and backcountry station still open. Recommend parking in the overflow lot so you can take the short Beetle Rock trail to the main Giant Forest area. A few extra steps but extremely worth it for the stellar view.
MoreWe enjoyed walking along this paved trail. You can definitely do it in flip flops with no issues. It’s a nice loop that takes you around a meadow with many gorgeous sequoias to admire with a lot of information. We stopped and read every placard.
MoreBeautiful scenery; however, even with a map and a phone full of directions we got lost. We were only able to make it to The trail of Sequoias and somehow managed to take it the wrong direction (following the map and directions). Ended up being so out of the way we had to take a whole different route through Crescent meadow, which had hords of people on it. The best part of the whole trail was on the trail back to Washington tree (improvand Alta trail.
MoreLives up to the hype. Trees are giant and its a scenic hike. Im coming back here often.
MoreIncredible and lovely giant trees in Giant Forest. It s one of the places in Sequoia National Park. Driving through and taking stop to see various wonderful trees like General Sherman, Senate etc make you feel awesome. We visited in winter so they have closed some of the spots in Sequoia like Crystal cave, Mono rock etc. Even then you have a lot to see and visit. Giant Forest is one of its kind.
MoreWheelchair accessible view of the largest trees in the world. Not the "off the beaten path" experience, but very informative and protected wildlife, Flora and Fauna. Immaculate bathrooms and guides around the area! Had a great time with the family! I see why people would come all over the world to this place!
MoreAwesome 😍
Great place
We went through the burn areas to get there, but as soon as we got there the air smelled soo fresh & clean...Standing near the trees, it was like:"WOW" they were soo "Gi-nor-mous!!"We were so small, It was like standing between "Gods & Titans"
MoreSo much to love. Giant trees and so much nature!

MoreGreat nature is the best!!!
We was amazing from the majestic of this place. You have to visit.
Lilliput visiting Gulliver. That is how you feel being along these giants. A respect for all that nature has to offer. An ancient history in front of your eyes.
MoreAmazing!
Such a lovely one of a kind place to see a group of mighty Sequoias
Pictures is one thing, but being able to see them with your own eyes..... Priceless!!!!
MoreAmazing place!
It was awesome.lots of trails and sights to see
This is a really pretty area with lots of mature sequoias! There is also plenty of parking and restrooms to stop and take a break
MoreI just wanted to stay for hours and hours, hugging tree after tree... 📓🖋 great way to feel connected with nature.
MoreHigh marks to the Park Service for changing the way this area is managed. Formerly clogged with autos, a gas station, stores, and lodging, it was a real tourist trap. It is now managed as a forest and not a disneyland knockoff.
MoreGiant sequoia trees... amazing place to visit. Very peaceful. The great Sherman is amazing...
MoreA must see if you come to the area. This is where the HUGE trees are.It can get hot in the summer time. the hikes arent super hard but just be prepared. Once in a lifetime experience for most.Enjoy!

MoreVere very beautiful forest. Sequoias are very beautiful and interesting.
This is a place for Giant trees. Coming straight out of the movie.
Absolutely incredible. Like nothing you will ever see elsewhere. Just beware of the roads at night, they may close.
MoreI absolutely love it here try to visit here at least twice a year if not once a year its always good to go during spring or winter preferably whens her for myself because I like to go hiking in the snow it is always very cold at night I always wear three to four layers of clothes even with base layers on just because my body temperature runs cold and Im always cold anyway I always see deer and bear when I visit here except for this year I havent seen any as of yet still hoping to go back and see some more bears
MoreBreathtaking!
