185 Chiswick High Rd, Chiswick, London W4 2DR, Sironko
Classic pub with heavily wooded decor and original etched glass, as well as a large modern garden.
Nice pub. Too many mans. Very good music. Very nice food and garden. The best comedy club. A bit rude staff but only one of them. Good bouncers.
Very nice place, we could have stayed in that beer garden all night long ! The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere really nice 👍 thank you for great service too
Very nice pub with lovely beer garden and great food
I was at the George IV Pub on Friday for the first time, and I must say its definitely one of the best bars Ive been to a long time, great atmosphere, excellent food, and the Live music was very good too!I highly recommend this place.
Great atmosphere and a good selection of beers and ales on tap. The building itself gives a lovely comfortable vibe and also has a nice outdoor seating area. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend a visit.
Excellent Pub. Great food and service. Many choices on the menu. Highly recommend it.
Great pub and very inviting, good choice of beer on tap.
Great pub, live music on fri night.
An expansive pub with good food, great live music, friendly staff and outstanding comedy!
I super enjoyed their sandwich. And the triple-fried fries? Delicious.
Wow Great staff always friendly and cool!! Especially Mr. Marco whos very charmingand has a great sense of humour!!!
Great comedy club at the back Headliners. Fantastic night out with great acts and really casual atmosphere. Reserved seating and two bars to get drinks from. Also lovely area outside for intervals!
Our fav local pub, check out the various garden events on premises, last one was Shakespeare in the garden
Food in this pub is really great! Very good vibe on Friday nights with live music, my fav pub in the area :)
Good house wineExcellent lunch optionsBig inside eventhough we sat out the front.
Friendly staff, good food and a pleasant place to have a drink or two......
Had the time of my life thanks to my bartender Giles! First time across the pond from the United States and he gave me great recommendations and poured me his favorites drinks. Will surely be back if ole Giles is working.
Great location. Well kept London Pride. Nice little courtyard garden at the back.
Nice pub with music in the evenings and sunny garden in the day but the music is played a little too loud out there to hear the person next to you though
Popped in for food while visiting our son. Unfortunately it wasnt the best and it took well over an hour to arrive although we had been warned there would be a wait of about half hour. The table wasnt clean and we had to ask if someone could do wipe it which only happened when we managed to grab someone who came to wipe another table and even then it wasnt cleaned properly. The food eventually arrived the pie was ok but the batter on the fish was very soggy and someone had sprinkled pepper over the top of it for some reason which should have been customer choice. The nachos were just about edible.
Visited on Friday evening for Headliners Comedy...the pub itself was fantastic, we had a drink before moving into the back room for the show. Bits to eat during the performance were really tasty then a duo in the main pub with lots of drinking, singing and dancing....
Relaxed Fullers pub with outdoor area in the back and an area for entertainment, larger than we expected. Burger and a pint deal on Wednesday was great. A few tables in front will catch some sun in the afternoon.
Fullers pub in Chiswick. Lovely outdoor area at rear for enjoying good weather. Good choice of food plus of course Fullers beers.😁
Really nice pub with a nice garden, great tasting food, friendly staff and a nice range of beers to pick from. Theres love music on a weekly basis and a nice space to rent for special occasions
So dog and family friendly! Attentive staff. I can highly recommend the buttermilk chicken burger. The petting zoo on Easter Sunday was a genius idea.
Was here for a comedy evening. A great venue for it out the back. The rest of the pub is really nice, staff friendly and good choice of beers. Lots of nice pubs in Chiswick and this is no exception, highly recommend.
Great local. Very busy and party atmosphere on Saturday nights. Has standup on fri and sat in the attached Headliners comedy venue
Wonderful buzz here. Great garden and just a beautiful music room , The Boston Room. Great music, service second to none. Good looking food.
Nice atmosphere. However clearly not a very good chef. Ordered an expensive steak medium-well, and it came looking like it should still be playing in the field. It should have come with twice the amount of chips
The most delicious fried calamari Ive ever had I think. Thank you guys.Next time I need to try other items. The place felt great and clean.
An institution of a pub on Chiswick High Road, does a variety of good food - not just full meals but lighter lunches also. Theres a good range of beer and other drinks. Ive been coming to the GIV since at least the late 1980s when I ran a performance venue upstairs, but in recent years its all about the food and the ambience and its a nice place to go.
Brilliant night, loved the music, group of us went and had a great time. Its loud and packed Friday night, everyone dancing and mingling so great atmosphere. Theres tables at the back if you want to be a little quieter and have a chat.
A really nice pub with many fine ales. Sadly the management of this establishment has taken a bit of a dive recently. Although the staff are okay the lack of empathy or any kind reasonable handling of customers I found rude and not very respectful. Also the beer does not seem to be well kept.
Great venue for a show .. but as a fan of London Pride, Im not overly impressed with how they keep the beer.. have had to ask staff to change my pint on at least two occasions and they charge quite a lot more than local rivals, who pour great Pride pints for less coin...
A spacious and lively pub with descent toilet facilities and a good atmosphere. We enjoyed two bottles of prosecco together and did not at all feel pressured to order food, despite coming in at midday. Would happily go again. Good family atmosphere.
Great bar staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, the DJ was amazing Great all round music to suit all ages. I had an amazing time and would recommend this place to Friends, family and colleagues. I will be very happy to return
The decor of The George IV was really nice and the staff were friendly. The layout was a little odd for music, but they did the best they could with it. The only negative against it would be the mismatch between the professionalism of the bars design and the casual appearance of the staff, on entry it seemed more like the kind of place that would be uniforms, but as I say, they did their jobs well.
Amazing staff, they went the extra mile when I didnt like the food that I have ordered, offering an alternative at no extra cost! Very much appreciated, no grumpy faces, very polite and understanding. Overall cosy pub with great sofas and Christmas decorations, good music too, maybe not very loud as I would like but no complaints. Thank you for the Amazing service, you made a difference! See you soon!
I booked a room here to have a few drinks and some food with friends and family following my mums funeral. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. They really looked after us and the food was great. Highly recommend this place for anything from a few drinks, spot of lunch, or a private event.
What a great place! Fantastic service, large variety of drinks and food. They have a covered garden for smokers, planty of space inside, great atmosphere. And the highlights - live showcases!! Some of them are free - of the most talented young guys, with great acoustic settings. Recommended!
I went on a Saturday night, so it was bustling. Reservations are advisable but not necessary if youre after a table. Fullers ales and traditional beers, wines, and spirits/cocktails are served from the bar. Prices are fine for London. Even for the number of people, I thought the pub was noisier than most. A large and leafy garden is available for the sunny months
Absolutely fantastic pub, Friday night 10th September the band was excellent really rocks wonderful place to let your hair down, mixture of ages which you never find these days from 20s to 80s danced and danced. You have to go a long way to find a band, people and good pint of pride and food. Brilliant garden. Definitely going back for more.
Extremely over priced food. We all had roast dinners and they were nearly£20 each, so I was expecting good things. They tasted like school dinners. Beef was full of fat and like those thin slices you get from a packet from the supermarket, and got only 3 little roast potatoes. Really was not pleasant. Pub old and grotty too. Nice staff though.
Lovely place, nice staff and good wine
Super good pub with super good beer !! Over 20 kinds of beers , eachone better than the others! Cheers !
Nice atmosphere and good service. No trouble in this area late night but it can be really packed on weekends. They also have comedy nights at the back some times.
Went to this lovely venue to see Russel Howard here, arrived early to eat beforehand and the food was absolutely fantatsic. We ordered honey roasted vegetables and they were absolutely delicious. Service was quick too.
A lovely chill out Fullers pub on Chiswick High Street, loads of sofas, window seats and the like. Loads of room for everyone. Good beer with a fair choice of both cask and keg. A fine establishment.
Wow. Where do we even begin with how amazing the whole George IV team are? They did everything we could have asked for and more to make our wedding reception in The Boston room so special. They were professional, fun, relaxed and organised all at the same time. The Boston Room is absolutely gorgeous to begin with. When we saw it fully dressed though we were absolutely speechless with the amazing job the team had done. It’s such a great space - for both meal and dancing!!!Next, the food and wine - yum! We’ve had guests say this is the best wedding food they have ever had. My only problem was the wedding breakfast was so generous I barely had room for the evening food - luckily some of our guests found room! :)And finally a special shout out to Christina who coordinated the whole day. She’s absolutely lovely, and utterly on top of things - quietly making sure every part of the day was spot on. Even creating confetti when we forgot ours!Thank you so much for being A-MA-ZING!Mr & Mrs Argent
Super-stylish and friendly place. A lovely little courtyard garden too. Its usually playing a tasteful and appropriate soundtrack for your visit into the bargain. Just as I wrote that Chet Baker / My Funny Valentine came on, as if to prove it. I was going to leave 4 stars, Chet earned this place the 5th.I now pop in a few times a week at lunchtime and its just right, usually with something mysterious going on in the events room at the back. Always hard to drag myself back to work!A great pub, certainly the best in the area. Damn fine work.
