The Geographical Centre Of Europe - Museum in Justiniškės, Lithuania
Great spot to visit and check off the bucket list.
Smagi vieta pasivaikščiojimui, patogu priparkuoti mašiną. Informacija pateikta 6 kalbomis. Šalia yra ir Bernotų piliakalnis į kurį galima užkopti.
Zanimljivo mjesto. Ali nema nikakvih dodatnih sadržaja. Ne postoji suvenirnica, kafić i sl….u blizini je golf teren.
In the place you will not find activities to enjoy, unless you want to walk and explore the surroundings, however from a historical point, it is interesting. If you are near the site, I recommend you visit it.
there are flags, the center of Europe, rocks and grass. Benches are a nice touch
Ok
Красивое место для отдыха недалеко от трассы но в лесу. Стоит камень в центре. Чуть дальше огромный компас и флаги европейских стран. Есть информационный щит на разных языках. Под снегом и льдом конечно поняли не сразу
Great spot to stop for a few mins at the centre of Europe. Now, if only the British reviewer below had bothered to read the inscription, she wouldve learnt that he obelisk with crown, and flags, were3 placed later, to celebrate Lithuania joining the EU 🤦♀️ So self-centred, she didnt even realise there were 20 or so flags missing from remaining countries in Europe. But this part of the installation is separate to the centre of Europe stone. Urgh.
Absolute load of rubbbish. Its supposed to be the centre of the CONTINENT of Europe but no UK flag. If the EU removed it when we left Europe then they are the petty minded bureaucrats I always took them for.The museum was closed, so we never got our certificate to say we visited the absolute centre of Europe. Dont bother.
Eupe Geography Center . Good to walking.
Če ste v bližini, je vredno ogleda. Sicer je geografskih središč več, ker so različne metodologije merjenja...ampak... Prost vstop.
Cool
Quick stop at true center of Europe! A short walk around the forest near a golf course. Unfortunately at my time of visit the shop was closed but still worth the trip. A fun stop however it was brief.
Small Park with monumental stone and a sqare dedicated to mark this place.
Super
Really not much to see there. It is a stop for probably 10-15min, worth stopping to check it out when passing only because of the fact that is official geographical center of Europe.
Cool little spot to stop at for some photos. Not much flair to it, just a place to pose for some photos and claim you were at the center of Europe. There is some golf and a food spot that we didnt try out though.
Very Nice! 👍
Amazing to think that this place is the center of Europe! But you come to understand when reading the panels, the south/west they took is Açores and Canary Islands, so quite south-west!! And north is Svalbard which is incredibly north!
Vilnius tourist information advertises this place, meantime only possible public transportation is regional buses which are quite rare in a day. At least they arranged the time according to that. You will have adequate time between you reach there and depart from there. There is not much thing to do in this place, even nearby golf course seems more interesting once you reach there.
nothing special, besides that it’s the centre of Europe.
Good place to see and rest a little. You can eat sth in restaurant in golf pole (cheaper than Vilnus). There is no nothing more.
Look like nobody is taking care of area since it was built
Booring place to go
The geographic centre of the Europe. Worth a visit
Bucket list place
Great. Depressing that British flag will have to be brexited.
Everything is in the mind.the place is one site that it says it is the center.iwent for the going as the rest I believe
Cool just because its the geographic center of Europe.
I was expected more from this, but golf club which is next to have an excellent driving range.
Empty place, i not worth it
Nice place
A place in the middle of nowhere. If you pass by anyway, then take a look, but dont drive extra miles to add this to you trip.
A special place worth visiting if youre around Vilnius, even if the exact center is not there, at least youre very close.
Not that much to see but for the feeling to be right in the center of Europe still worth a trip. Nice surrounding.
Not really much to see, but interesting to know its the middle of Europe.
Come here and take a photo on the Nordkapp trip.
Worth to see, nice and relaxing place.
At night the place is completely dark even though there are lights nearby. We managed to light up the stars on the monument somehow but we were disappointed that it was total darkness overall.
Teresa was the most wonderful guide, she issued our center of Europe certificates and explain us all about the place and the visitors! We had a lot of fun!!!
Geographic Center of Europe is in North Western BELARUS!The only reason it was artificially placed in Lithuania is Politics.EU needed to lock in all the coastal areas of Baltic sea into its jurisdiction, so they took, (incorporated), these three pointless specs of land, (countries), into European union, and thus, grabbed the shores...
The place itself was quite nice, but the unfo booth was closed during the open hours, so I didnt get my certificate that they advertised all over the place. The monument is neat.
Nice place. Good golf club.
Useless and boring as hell. Surrounded by a golf course to finish up the general depressing scenery.
Its nice for a quick stop. Well set up and clean. When driving there from (!Vilnius dont go to the wrong side (rightsince you will end up in some weird kind of countryside with very bad roads and you will most likely meet some weird people as we did.
Great place.
best golf club around Vilnius
Nicely designed, has a beautiful landscape.
Nothing special to see, plus its only one of many "center of europe"
Good park to walk
