Sorry but this is not for us. Starters are ok not cheap . The menu is limited. The presentations are not good. Main course are too expensive for what you’ve got. Definitely not going back there .

Delightful space and menu. However, strongly advise against arriving without a booking. Attempted to visit at 14:00 but despite confirming that the establishment still serves lunch, and with the establishment virtually empty, I was refused a table - and told only bookings are accepted.

Portion sizes have increased since previous visit and are now generous. Both the bread and the focaccia are out of this world. Starters and mains cannot be beaten. Wine list is short but excellent. Puddings and baked goods are exceptional. One of the best restaurants in London in my opinion - not particularly cheap but with every penny.

Delicious light and healthy food, nice wine and Tranquil setting. Very friendly staff and right opposite the Houses of Parliament on the south side of the Thames.

We had a very pleasant light lunch out in the courtyard. What worries me is how you know I was there, since I didnt book, or pay for the meal. Creepy.

The Garden Cafe or restaurant @ the Garden Museum is a great little hidden gem in Lambeth. Very enjoyable meal with my mum here.

Described on Google as vegan/vegetarian but this is an out of date description with new owners. Having said that they made something for vegan son and the overall meal in a delightful garden setting was most enjoyable. Great wines too.

Stunning and leafy hidden gem in the centre of London.The cold cucumber soup was the most refreshing starter I have ever had.Staff were very friendly and professional and made our experience very relaxed and enjoyable.Cost around £120 including 3 courses for 2 with wine.Highly recommend ☺️

We made a reservation for lunch and after 1.5h we were asked to leave because they needed the table.We explained that after booking, there was no time limit. They didn’t believe us until we showed them the confirmation email.They apologised BUT they still moved us to another place and didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience caused.Also, food is overpriced.Not worth it.

A little haven in this part. Inside courtyard and very nice and relaxed vibe inside. Food with focus on few but very good ingredients. An absolute recommandation.

Sometimes, rarely, everything is just lovely - the place, the building, the music, the garden, the people, the art, the atmosphere and the food. This is one of these rare times.

A lovely cafe set in an excellent location. The inside is bright and airy, and staff are very attentive and friendly.The food tasted great and arrived in good time.The only reason Im knocking a star is that I dont think the food is worth the price. It does taste nice, but I could have had the plate twice over!

A very pretty café in a very pretty garden fabulous for nice sunny days and there’s an enclosed glasswalled area for when the weathers not so good. The food was incredibly amazing. I decided to be adventurous and I ordered the heart on toast, I’m an American I don’t think I’ve ever had heart before. It was amazing it was smothered in the kind of garlic butter that you put on escargot, on a piece of really nice whole wheat toast with a very crunchy crust. I was in garlic butter heaven. I followed it up with a Rhubarb eclair, and I drank it with a rhubarb cordial. I have died and gone to Food heaven

A calm oasis in a busy and touristy area. Delightful spaces indoors and outdoors surrounded by green plants in this gem of a restaurant near the Thames and St Thomas Hospital. The hake was done just right, tender with crispy skin, sitting on a bed of succulent fennel and thinly sliced fried potatoes. The bread was absolutely fresh, with just enough stretch and a good crust. The Easter tart was a fruit cake peppered with tiny cubes of orange peel and wrapped in a layer of marzipan topped by a marzipan ball. The hot water for the tea came hot enough to make two perfect cups of tea. All in all, an excellent dining experience.

Always good food, good coffee, friendly staff and - very important - always good music and at the right volume. Love this place.

As a designer I first eat with my eyes so I have to say such a charming place and how careless they are in keeping the potential and beauty of the place intact. On the right hand side you have a neat trapezoidal shape box...so far so good.. at the center you have the bar..tall table and cake counter display and on the left you have the storage of the restaurant paper towels..plastic boxes..fridges in full display with all the functional ugliness they bring. Im glad I just had a coffee as I would not eat here having such unpleasant view as focal point. Half of the customers have a lovely view..the other half the back of the storage room. What a wasted opportunity of having a jewl.

We went for lunch twice in our 10 day trip to London. We loved it! Fresh, delicious homemade bread and food! The scenery is beautiful with St. Marys church and the gardens surrounding the restaurant. Try the soup. It was the best soup Ive every had and we are "soup people". So happy we tried this lil gem.

Scrumptious lunch today at the GC. I’ve been wanted to go for ages and it did not disappoint. Everything cooked to perfection, delicious, understated and elegant. The ginger pud was out of this world. Service excellent. Recommend!!

An unexpected and rewarding find! Fresh, delicious food in a gardenic ambiance. The grilled sardines and haddock clam chowder were faultless.

The food was surprisingly good and service while initially slow and somewhat stand offish got better as Jose the waitron took us in hand. The Sardines in Harisa was an excellent starter. The bread was excellent, crusty sour dough with a hint of sour Rye. The Haddock Clam Chowder while slightly over salted was delicious. The Fig Pie that Jose recommended was excellent. We will go back if we are in the neighborhood.

Very pleasant spot in the middle of a busy area, a green oasis among residential buildings. A limited but very tasty menu on the more expensive side. Good and fast service and a very relaxing atmosphere.

I hadnt checked the website in advance and, given the café is attached to a museum, I was expecting a bowl of soup and a roll. What I got was an excellent John Dory, flaking to perfection, with mussels and spring vegetables, followed by a delicious rhubarb tart with almonds and wonderfully short pastry. My partner chose spelt, courgettes and peas with pecorino followed by a particularly delicious chocolate mouse with hazelnut praline; she was as pleased as I was. More expensive a meal than I was expecting but well worth the money! The garden location is a delight.

I live nearby and I absolutely love the place! Coffe, tea and pastries are great. All the cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls hand made in front of you... Simply delicious. For lunch menu the portions could be larger taking into account the prize but... Definitely worth visiting:)

Back open and cleverly socially-distanced post-Covid, the atmosphere is light and airy, with friendly staff and really thoughtful menu and specials. Lunch is served 12-3pm on a Sunday; Braised Rabbit Leg was a highlight, and dessert and coffee absolutely to die for. The Chocolate Mousse especially. By far and away the best restaurant/cafe in the local area.

Small cafe which you can visit independently of the museum. Nice staff. Freshly made treats available. Had two types of cookies which were great plus a spiced lemon cordial. Relaxing setting and just opposite Westminster. Just off a cycle quiet way as well so good for a trip out.

Find myself again in this interesting coffee shop and must say that I really like the design and the way the shop is managed, they do have a delicious menu and the coffee is one of the best.They have two areas one fo coffee and breakfast and one for lunch/brunch and they do not serve food while you have coffee only snacks, what is beautiful about this place is that you can see how they prepare the food next to you so you know they respect all the hygienic rules 🙌🏻If you on social media fallow me on IG @fooduklondon for more interesting places.

Can’t comment about the burgers but the breakfast was great! Really nice fry up, I added chorizo from brindesa (across the road), really filling and good quality, the coffee was also very good indeed.Great spot near the shard to have lunch! I had the honest burger and the frontier beer, definitely coming back!

We needed a place to grab breakfast near our hotel. We were staying near the London Eye and wanted something a little nicer. This place was perfect. It is a nice little cafe right in the church grounds. Great spot with friendly staff located in the gardens adjacent to the church. Pleasant respite during a day of touring!

We came here for lunch having read some mixed reviews. I booked and am glad I did as it filled up during the time we were there. We had the plaice and warm tartare sauce, which was really well cooked,Heard so much about how PRETTY this is. Its pleasant enough. Lunch for two was uninspiring, I must say.

Lovely cafe and lovely food but it is way too expensive, it came to something like £60 for us all coffee and cake, the coffee wasnt even proper coffee it was made from a machine, would be better if the prices were cheaper

Amazing restaurant! Such a hidden gem, I cant recommend it highly enough. Went here with my mom and boyfriend, it was such a hit! Excellent ingredients, expertly crafted dishes. The octopus was the best Ive ever had (and Im really picky). Courgette starter was spectacular, and lemon tarte was delicious. The menu is also very affordable. Cant wait to come back!

One of the secret gems of London. The place is impressive, but it need to be sunny in order to sit outside!!. The food of this small cafe is really tasty. Perfect for a soup with home made bread and a brownie! nothing pretentious but a cheap tasty option!

The dishes are very interesting, not to mention delicious and when I went there I tried stuff I never thought I would ever eat. I tried cows tongue and a feather back steak (both of which were super). One of my friends also had a pigs cheek which was also really nice. I would definitely reccomend this place if you want a nice lunch or a place to go with family. The picture below is the steak.

My first cafe Ive been in the UK. Well, there are no words I can describe other than such an incredible experience it had been. Drinking hot chocolate while gazing out on the lovely view of Buckingham Palace Garden was the best.

Very nice interior, lovely courtyard full of plants, fresh seasonal food. Very tasty. Perfect for a light Sunday lunch. They have a selection of simple yet excellent breakfast options - bacon sarny, eggs on toast, fresh pastries. The Garden museum is also worth a go. They are not open for dinner which is a bit of a shame as they offer the best food in this side of Lambeth

Staff were friendly and I had the best scrambled eggs Ive ever had. The coffee on the other hand wasnt very nice, it would be good to see more selection, syrups and even instant coffee for those who dont like the strong taste of coffee. Otherwise a very lovely place with a new menu every lunch time.

Beautiful settings. As mentionned by a few visitors, the menu is short, but the food is fresh and original.
