We had a delicious breakfast in the café, and bought some amazing cookies and brownies to take away. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and helped with seating my two children and accommodating the pram even though the café was really busy and full

5 Star 10/10 That brunch Was Lush! I would say an 11/10 because everything was fresh! Even the Bacon Was Smoked! The Sausages were Fresh Butchers! Frech Tomatoes and good value for money! I definitely Recommend! Very Friendly Staff !

What a fabulous little place with such friendly staff. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious 😋 my other half had to take a work call and had to go sit in the car for 30 minutes leaving me inside alone, the lovely lady behind the counter chatted with me and also offered to sort my partners coffee when he got back inside so he didnt have a cold drink to come back to! We both said in the car after we left how happy we came upon this place today after planning on going somewhere else! We will be back intentionally next time. Thanks for a wonderful brunch ❤

Excellent food and staff. Dogs are allowed so its just the perfect place for breakfast with your best friend.

He was about to close and we were told, quite rudely, to go to Tesco if we wanted ice cream. They keep very early hours for a cafe in a visitor/tourist area

I came here with my family on a recent visit to Penarth and I was so happy with the amazing food and the wonderful service that we came back the next day. I find it extremely difficult to eat out because I have special dietary needs. My usual experience when looking at menus is, Oh what can I eat? I cant have anything on here! However, I had a completely different experience at The Galley because there was so much food that I could eat! It was all beautifully prepared and presented. I cant praise them enough. My family and I would definitely come here again, in fact its the ONLY place we would recommend. Great food, great prices, great service. What more could anyone want?

What a great place for coffee and a light lunch situated at Penarth Marina. Friendly and efficient service. They serve probably the very best hot chocolate Ive ever had, worth a visit for just that alone.

I went to the galley by the marina for the first time today. Had lunch but brownies looked so good, I got one to take away. Will definitely go there again. The owner was really nice and there were 2 other tables who seemed to be regulars and we ended up in a cafe-wide discussion which Im not sure has ever happened to me before but was lovely!

Absolutely love coming here! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic menu choices and every time I have eaten here, which has been alot, the food has been of the highest quality and delicious. Have had the breakfast, breakfast burrito and a selection of different sandwiches and melts and all have been delicious. Love the music and the brownies and cookies too and always take a brownie or cookie or two home. If you want tasty food and fantastic service this is the place to visit.

Has a beautiful view and located nearby the water. Hot and cold drink options are various and they taste good. Great for a little break while walking around Penarth.

Popped in while passing and just thought a quick coffee recharge would do... Got tempted by the sound of the breakfast burrito and cakes and left 30 minutes later stuffed. I definitely should have stopped eating but when you like something that much and one more mouthful turns to ten there is only ever 5 stars coming. Great food and fast and friendly service.

Really lovely, we visited in September. Had some breakfast each and it was delightful. The staff are so so friendly, the food and drinks are yummy as well. There is good social distancing and very clean. You can book and order in advance if needed. Cant wait till i can come back.

Been here again with family. Very friendly, great coffee and breakfast brunch inside. Would be even better in summer if sunny and could sit outside.

I had the vegan brunch and I have to say the food was beautiful, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. A lovely place to be with a good atmosphere, likely to be back tomorrow for the same again... 5 stars

Great breakfast, a bit busy in the weekend had the veggie burrito was so good

Stopped off here with our bikes with our two hungry girls. Staff were friendly informative and helpful. We ordered some drinks and cake and sat outside. We asked if the girls could eat their fruit here and they were more than happy to allow us to do so. They brought over the drinks and cake and were very friendly throughout. They even came back out to give us some more milkshake as they had over prepared when making ours. How nice! These little touches always make such a difference to how you experience somewhere as a customer. And the two young boys serving were so lovely, had great customer service and by doing so will guarantee a 1st time customer to be returning again. Thank you!

Wow what a great find, had a tuna melt panini, best Ive ever had. Seating both inside and out, lovely on a sunny day. Friendly staff, good service and dogs allowed inside and out.

Everyone loves it here. It has limited seating but has more outside space. It is mostly always full when Ive been. Breakfast food was delicious and staff friendly. May have been a bit too busy as the food was only a little slow and staff were kept busy. It was midweek and about 11am.

Such a lovely friendly diner. Great service and freshly cooked food. It has recently been refurbished and its still a lovely place to pop in for a coffee or have a delicious healthy meal. Veggie and vegan menu available. Have the mashed avocado with poached eggs on muffins yummy.

Very conveniently situated cafe, next to Penarth Marina and not far from the barrage in Cardiff bay. Its a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or just sit above cuppa with some delicious cake. Staff is always friendly and taking good care of their customers :)Its worth popping in.

A small treasure found close to the barrage. Fantastic range of teas, coffees and cake. Also features a wide variety food menu. Dog friendly.Can get busy, but worth the wait.

I love this place especially on a beautiful sunny day! Facilities include indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor for dog walkers. But thats fine. Food very good with a good choice on the menu. My little complaint was that my cappuccino could have been a little stronger. Apart from that, a great little place with friendly staff and a clean cafe.

Just went for breakfast and the burrito is to die for!! Packed with delicious sausage, bacon and egg all rolled up and covered in cheese. Even a little pot of beans on the side. A Tea Pigs Green Tea rounded it all off nicely. Beautiful location, looking across the marina and super friendly staff, with quick service and a smile.. Ill be back!!

We went for a fathers Day breakfast and had a great experience there. The food and service was great and all the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Excellent coffee and a really good range of choice for breakfast. My wife had a hot chocolate that was incredible!

Regularly visit this coffee shop and love it. The location is great for Penarth Marina, and the coffee and food is always good. Theyre now doing evening tapas, which I havent yet tried, but sound good.

Another gem! Super friendly, great food, amazing coffee - hazelnut latte rocks 👍 parking can be tricky - be ready to walk but well worth a little stroll 😊
