Museum of Gaelic sports (Gaelic football, hurling, handball and camogie) with interactive exhibits.
Excellent tour and great guide
Great craic, guide was class
Very interesting tour and brilliant day out around Croke Park Stadium, even if youre not into GAA, the tour is a very interesting experience full of not only sport, but also significant history. You get to go "behind the scenes" and experience what it is like for the sports players at such a venue. Our tour Guide Annette was especially lovely, engaging with everyone in the tour group and especially the kids. She provided us with some fascinating and personal nuggets of information that can only come from years of experience in her profession. Would highly recommend her and this experience to anyone.
A real piece of Irish History and the Irish game well worth a visit
Had a brilliant day in Croke Park and then a very interesting tour.
Had a wonderful day ruined by Conor the security guy in the gift shop. He wouldnt allow our party in after the go girls blitz in August and shut the shop 15 mons before closing. We had a bus full of very disappointed children.
Absolutely amazing historyGreat museumGreat friendly staff
The Museum is nice and the stadium tour is good. I learned a lot about Hurling and Gaelic Football. I think the tour is more geared to people who understand the sports, but we still enjoyed it a lot.
Brilliant tour and museum of a very unique and historic stadium in Dublin. The museum is small but really informative about the roots of the GAA and its role in Irelands history.Likewise, the tour offers a great way of exploring the inner working of the ground and gives you a unique view of the stadium.Great even if you dont understand any of the GAAs sports.
Visited Croke Park and went on the tour really enjoyed it. Tour guide Gerry from Monaghan very informative and interesting. Up Monaghan!!😀
Did the tour of the stadium when visiting in May and it was one of the most pleasant and interesting activities I got to do while in Ireland :)
The home of hurling 5 stars worth a visit with nice people working there
Loved it the tour gut Sean was very good really knew his stuff
Expected more somehow. Its a tour through a big stadium, cant expect much more than that. But still.
Loads of gaa history here also some games for the kids to play gaa related of course.it is a great vision if you are interested in gaa or not.also a gifte shop and restaurant in side not overpriced.
Lovely food and served by friendly staff
Best stadium Ive ever been to....
Spend a couple of hours easily.....lovely history
What an experienceSkyline tour and museumWell worth it
Brilliant experience! After years playing GAA I managed to find time to take a tour around the museum and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide Seán was fantastic and knew more about the GAA than anyone Ive ever met, and hes only been a tour guide for a matter of months! Spectacular. The museum itself was breathtaking and is something everyone can reap enjoyment from whether from home or abroad. Wonderful experience overall, 10/10.
GREAT place for all of the family, all round just a great day out 👍🏻👍🏻
Attended here today with family. What an enjoyable experience for us all. Excellent tour guide and we learned so much about the history of the place (thought we new it allDefinitely recommend it
Impressive stadium & informative tour. Really good value.
As a big GAA man this is a must see.
I really recommend the tour. You get a bit of history and the best views of Dublin from the top of the stadium.
Well worth a visit and the skywalk is brilliant
Fantastic. I cannot believe its taken me this long to get up to Dublin and into Croker for the tour and museum. Been to plenty of games there but it was really interesting to see it from the other side. I must say, our guide Sean who hosted our tour of the stadium was a credit to the organisation. His knowledge of the GAA and Croke Park was encyclopedic. He was engaging and friendly. We were all blown away at the end of the tour to learn he had only been in the job for 1 month! What an asset. The museum itself is excellent and the Bloody Sunday exhibit was eye opening. I cannot recommend this enough, whether you are GAA mad or have never seen a match in your life there is something there for you. Top marks, 10/10 attraction. Cant help but feel proud to be Irish afterwards.
Good skyline tour and museum, but only interesting if you are from Ireland and have some interest in Irish football and/or huurling. The Skyline tour guide was very enthousiastic and funny, but did not payed much attention to us, as non-irish visitors.
A great place to visit, even if you knew nothing about the magnificent sports played in Croke Park.
My wife and I had a very pleasant experience on our recent visit to the museum. It is well worth the visit and you need not be a GAA fan to enjoy the experience. It started with a short video which alone was worth the journey, and included a visit to dressing rooms and pitch etc. Food in the nearby restaurant was also good. Our tour guide Aaron was excellent and gave us plenty of background to the construction of Croke park from its inception.
The tour was brilliant, amazing views of the city. Im normally not great with heights but this tour didnt make me nervous at all. Our tour guide George was a font of knowledge and really friendly. The museum was also very interesting and well worth a visit. Overall it is well worth a visit.
A very professional setup. Very well run and the guide was excellent, both knowledgeable and humourous. Well worth a visit. Take a bow GAA.
Super day out for any GAA fan. Skyline tour has been on the agenda for a while and glad to finally make it happen. Gerry (with a G, from Co. Clarewas a gas tour guide, and really made it an interesting tour. Great way to see parts of Dublin, and to see where the GAA magic happens.
Fantastic day with my dad and my two boys, very interesting tour learnt loads, Gérard tour guide was great, and knowledgeable answered any questions, great with my two lads showing tricks with hurley👍 would definitely recommend Im going to go againWell done gaa great exhibition 👌
Excellent trip around the museum today, unfortunately with limited numbers we couldnt get into a tour but the very kind guy behind the desk not only brought us out to pitch side and took a family photo, but also turned on the movie September Days just for us! Loved it-well done!
Its a great weekend all the staff were so welcoming and the historic games so beautiful
The best museum. Its very interesting, and have a noble selection of jerseys worn by the legends. The stadium tour is brilliant, and you can let on to be a player going out the tunnel. Then the skyline bit is class as you can see for miles, if theres a fine day in it. The young wans love the games bit, we spent the bones of three hours there the last day. Its a great day out for anyone into the GAA. A lovely restaurant as well.
I highly recommend you to take the skyline tour, beautiful view of Dublin
A great balance of sport and history - this place is so important to Irish history. I would certainly recommend visiting it. Especially to experience the Skyline tour if you have time.
Very interesting, fabulous stadium great to sit in the vip seats , see the dressing rooms where the teams come in on the bus, the corporate boxes etc and museum was delightful looking back on old matches, hurlers and footballers. The skyline tour was amazing lovely tour guide could see all the landmarks of dublin and all explained by the guide very educational. Nice cafe there too. Well worth a visit. Our tour guides were super and very good humoured and helpful.
Good tour and value for money.
This was a very fun and enjoyable tour with a really brilliant tour guide! Thank you Martin!
A very intersting museum same for people who dont know a lot about Gaelic sports. Guides are very passionated and wants to transmit what they know to visitors.
An awesome institution reflective of well kept Irish tradition. Informative tour guide a must who adds richness to your experience. Prompt service received from reception to restaurant. The views from the roof are spectacular!
Ive brought students to this place twice already and I have to say its good for them. They can learn about this part of Irish culture while watching a short movie, playing some interactive games and sitting in the iconic Croke Park stadium. The guides are nice, knowledgeable and dont take either too long or too short to explain the places.
Had a very fun day at the museum. A lot of history and content are here. They go into history quite well and taught me a lot about the GAA football and hurling. Awesome video that was interesting to watch and cool. A good place to come if youre looking for something to do. They also have a try out spot of hurling and football if youve never played them before.
Had a wonderful day at the Croke Park Museum and Stadium tour today. All the staff were really lovely and friendly, especially Annette our tour guide. She captivated the whole tour party from start to finish. Our 2 small kids 3 and 5 loved her and the tour. It got a big thumbs from both of them and us. Would highly recommend this tour for GAA fans aswell as tourists to see and hear all about our sporting history. Top class. Thanks Annette
A great place to learn the history of the GAA. Well put together and has interactive activities. Be mindful, the main entrance is on Clonliff and Distillery Rd.
Off the beaten track, but this should be a must! Eye opening museum about GAA, a big part of Irish sporting and parish culture. The sense of pride and grandeur for this sport is apparent. Great place to bring sports enthusiasts, those interested in Irish culture and history, and families with kids (who will be able to try their hand at some of the skills required in Gaelic football or Hurling).
The stadium tour is brilliant! Combines architecture, sport and most surprisingly history. I had no idea this stadium was so intertwined with the Irish past. The guide was also extremely knowledgeable and really good fun. Id recommend looking round the museum before the tour, I did it afterwards and it rather pales in comparison.
