Plant-based cooking is offered with craft cocktails for dinner & brunch amid funky, casual digs.
V tasty vegan burgers and rosemary fries
Good vegan wings, but i wish there were than 3 pieces per order. Lots of cocktails options <3
This is one of my favourite places in the world. Its cosy and friendly (to dogs and humans alike), the food is delicious, and its all vegan.
Great place, delicious vegan food and brilliant, friendly staff. Super nice vibe too. Would recommend to anyone, vegan, veggie or meat eater.
Bar and eats for the veggie or vegan. This new offshoot of the Waiting Room coffee shop by Deptford rail station offers more space and a full bar. So far, they have a small menu of veggie junk food (which they plan to expandfeaturing burgers in brioche buns, "beef" stickers, fries, pickles and wings, all vegan.Excellent and reasonably priced cocktails, with a 2 for one offer every Wednesday evening."Happy hour" 4-7pm weekdays. (burger, fries and basic drink for £15)Wide craft beer selection and full range of Fentimans (non alcoholicdrinks.Unisex toilets, LGBT, trans friendly. Dog friendly. Level access throughout, but quite cramped space, especially at busy times. Only 2 tables are the right height for wheelchair users/limited mobility (others are high bar stools to maximise the space).Dog friendly.
Great to eat vegan burgers, chicken vegan really nice option, drink beers and cocktails, nice ambient music.
Im not a vegan but do try it from time to time -- and I can say this is the nicest vegan meal Ive had. The spicy chicken burger was a particular highlight. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and also delicious cocktails. Would definitely go back.
Friggin the best vegan fast food bites/meal I’ve had! The cocktails here also match that bar! The staff are brilliant and the dive bar feel is good to the real thing state side!
Absolute hidden gem! The team working there are really welcoming and put me at ease as I had a sneaky half while waiting for my friend. Great bar and serves AMAZING food. Had the Fonze burger and the rosemary fries and it was a solid 11/10. We were considering ordering another round of burgers, it was that good. This is a great indie biz in the heart of Deptford, so please go and support it!
Had the chick’n burger. It was okay, but one thing I’ll say is that it doesn’t actually taste like a chicken burger. No idea what it was made of but the taste and texture were more like potato. It was enjoyable but not what I expected.
This is the cutest little gem tucked away in Deptford. The atmosphere is very relaxed, cosy and the staff are friendly. The vegan food is stellar and that portions are good. Recommend the chicken burger and this place for a quick bite/drink.
Vegan burger and fries tasted nice and the service was good. A good place to chill out. Feeling welcomed from the 1st second in this bar.
I shared a wonderful evening with my partner here. They have over 30 cocktails on the menu and a small selection of delicious "dirty" vegan food, which is essentially burgers, fries, and "chicken" updated with some imagination. Most of the meals are made with seitan.A shout out to our waitress El who was a delight, so professional and a pleasure to chat with.
Visiting from Scotland. Braw wee place we found accidentally. The best ever satan wings.just great food and lovely service. Enjoyed the playlist too! Hit the spot after long journey.
Honestly one of the best vegan restaurants in London. I can wholeheartedly recommend everything on the menu, but I must give a very special mention to the chickn wings and gravy! Absolutely delicious and fantastic service.
They serve tasty food. However, I was expecting the buffalo wings to be coated in the sauce. It was just plain pieces of seitan with the sauce on the side, and that isn’t really how chicken wings are served - they will always be coated in a sauce to give the wings full flavour. The sauce was great - could have done with lots more of it!
Amazing food! Seitan plant-based fayre is often hard to find, and although they have a limited lockdown menu, theres a nice little selection of burgers and fries, including poutine! Beers and cocktails are available and the decor is Avant Garde, if a little reminiscent of Halloween all year round! The staff team are very busy, yet smiley, polite and professional. Im looking forward to eating inside and sampling their full menu when they reopen.
Best vegan burgers and hot sauce in all of London. We always buy hot sauce to take home form here. The Full Nelson has a great vibe, friendly staff and good music. The people that go here are super friendly too. This place reminds of vegan restaurants in the 2000s in Canada - badass, friendly, cozy and not trying to be instagramable. Even though this place is not Canadian, it feels a bit like home away from home for me.
Arrived to be "greeted" by the lady behind the bar, who was quite cold and made us feel more like a nuisance than clients. We ordered two burgers and fries, the waiting time was short which is good as we were so hungry. A shame that the order came wrong and we got the spicy chicken burger instead of the one we ordered. As we had already been made uncomfortable we didnt want to complain so ate and left. Wouldnt go back there, but maybe it was just bad timing. Also found it a bit pricey for the quality, but the place is very cosy.
I had really high expectations of this place as I heard a lot of great things however it was a bit of a let down. The burger patty itself was full of flavour however the burger bun was so unbelievably dry it ruined it for me. Also they were stingey with the garlic buffalo sauce so you could hardly taste it. Wont be going back unfortunately
One of the best burgers in Deptford and a heaven for vegan junk food lovers. The staff are always very friendly. The only negative is that the place itself is tiny, you can never find a place to sit. But I guess this just proves how great their food tastes and you can always do takeaway. And the best thing about Full Nelson is their Sunday brunch menu, the best vegan chicken and waffles I had in my life!
Massively overpriced for the quality of the food, the chips are sub standard and a small portion of them for £3. The burgers are incredibly stodgy and left us feeling awfully bloated, nothing like the tender, light impossible burger. To top this off, staff were unwelcoming and not remotely friendly.
Amazing veggie food with vegan alternatives for everything. Really tasty dirty cheese burgers, corn dogs and the most amazing cauliflower dish: I would almost sell my soul for the recipe. We had to wait for the second corn dog and they added another for free which, as we had decided to take this away with us, was a lovely surprise. Great place with a fun atmosphere.
Food seemed a tad pricey however to be expected in the location. Seitan wings are pricey for the portion size and would be nicer with more seasoning/flavour for the coating and the sauce. Chips were way too salty however were of a good portion size and quality otherwise. Girlfriend had the vegan chicken burger which she loved but my veggie burger was too soggy and almost fell apart. Not very good and didnt finish unfortunately. Good happy hour deal for the meal (4pm - 6pm, burger + fries + beer £12however the beer choices were ropey - do not recommend Old Blue Last Beer! Lastly the server was very offish and could be considered rude, maybe they just had a bad day though. The Full Nelson is definitely an establishment that stands out due to its progressive menu and alternative decor and is worth a try but could do with some improvements ✌🏻
Honestly, some of the best ‘dirty’ vegan food you can find. Not an exaggeration, their ‘chicken’ is so well seasoned and cooked, it’s better than most of the real chicken I’ve tried in my life. The best vegetarian chicken and waffles I’ve tried, probably the best vegetarian chicken burger, and the vegetarian beef burger is pretty good too.Great menu, fantastic food, and they make the best of a small space with friendly staff. Can not recommend highly enough.
This place totally deserves all the glowing reviews. Lovely people, and amazing dive bar style veggie/vegan food. Good drinks including a cocktail menu and interesting draft beer. If I lived any closer I’d need counselling not to be in there all the time.
This place is a little treasure on Depford Broadway, with both vegan and veggie choices. The food is absolutely delicious. While I winced at the price of a portion of chips, they were rather amazing, with a hint of rosemary. Great menu, will definitely come here again.
Great place! Love their Colonel burger and the wings with buffalo sauce. It has a great vibe and the staff are very friendly. My omni friend still thinks about the burger he tried here, so totally recommend for non-vegans too!
The Full Nelson is an excellent place for vegans and vegetarians and anyone with good taste. Great food and excellent cocktails, good beer and friendly staff. Its small but has a cosy and fun atmosphere and always good music.Vegan Colonel burger definitely recommended, but generally you should make several visits to try all the food and drinks! Also check out the Waiting Room near Deptford train station which is run by the same people and is a brunch equivalent.
Bouncing back between meat, veggie & then coming to find this little gem. The vegan chicken is too nice! We had waffle, with their butter & 2 pieces of chicken. It might sound like a small portion. But fear not! This will have you asking for more! The vibe is really nice, staff is nice, food is nice, location is not too far from bus stop or DLR, station.I’d highly recommend if you pass by, grab a munch!
Superb vegan food, reasonably priced and worth every penny. Very welcoming vibe, really chill and a nice aesthetic. It has particular opening hours and is pretty small but those are the only drawbacks.A wonderful little place. :)
My favourite place to go when craving a vegan burger, Oreo milkshake and caulibombs 😍
Burger joint to rival any other "gourmet" place. Finally visited after daughter begged me for so long and was not disappointed! Selection was fairly standard but really well made. The menu was mostly veg but with vegan alternatives to everything - including mylkshakes (!!). Kudos also to funky decor with 80/90s legends such as Roland Rat, Bill Murray and MB borad game version of hangman!! 🙌🤘
been going here well over a year now - great vegan and veggie food that changes occasionally. and EVERYTHING can be made vegan. the loaded fries are awesome and so are the "wings" ❤️ the drinks menu is also really inventive and varied. cheap and tasty and cosy, just hope you dont mind sharing tables! its very small!
Its no surprise this cozy establishment is bustling with patrons given its friendly staff, vast drink menu, and not to mention a wide range of vegan comfort food. You wont be disappointed if you order the fried pickles and the Fonz burger. They will leave you wanting more. The only regret I have is not having more time in London for the opportunity to return to this winner of a vegan bar. Five stars all around.
Best vegan burgers - even meat eaters love them. Nice selection of beers and cocktails. All really reasonably priced. It gets really busy and is small but thats all part of the atmosphere.
This place is incredible. I go to The Waiting Room regularly, which is owned by the same people nearby, and finally made it to here last night (28 November 2018).The food is so good, and all of it can be made vegan. I had the chilli cheese chips and a ‘Colonel’ burger. It was also two for one on cocktails all night, so took advantage of that. It’s great that Deptford/New Cross has such a great offering for vegans and veggies
Yummy vegan food! Great hard shakes
Wow! This place really exceeded expectations. I stopped eating meat a year ago and this is the first time I’ve eaten a meat alternative that truly was like the real thing. Are you sure it’s not really beef? The texture and the look is so close and the flavour is incredible, but you’re not left with that heavy feeling afterwards like you would with the real thing. My meat loving husband was also thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend visiting for some real good Friday night comfort food. I will definitely be back!
Brilliant vegan pub. Even for the more carnivorous. Get vibes so the teeny tiny nature of the place isnt a drag. Everyones more than willing to squash up to squeeze you in. Beers are often local and delicious and pitchers are great value
If you dont mind the hipster vibe would recommend. Great vegan food and very filling. I have not tried their cocktails but they have a huge selection so will definitely try next time. There pancakes are really good. Not a lot of seats so may have to order take away if its busy.
A varied and good for menu that can be adapted from the basic vegetarian dishes to vegan and vegan gluten free variations. Several different types of fries, burgers and other "dirty" dishes. The drinks range from wine and spirits through craft beverages in cans to draft beers ales and ciders.Only down side is the place is really small. Literally four tables, the bar and some seating along one wall. Small benches out front but slap bang in the smoking area. Not ideal if youre eating.Overall if youre thinking of visiting, go for it, but accept you might have to stand to eat.
Such a fantastic place if you’re veggie or vegan! Great beer, amazing food and quick service. It’s usually busy, but often with a quick turnover on tables, so finding a spot should be too hard. (They also do take away, collectionsalways a nice vibe I’m here, often meet interesting people. Dogs welcome.
Good atmosphere, a decent selection of local beers, and absolutely killer veggie and vegan food menu. It is a bit pricey, but its definitely worth it!
Easily some of the best vegan fast food in London if not UK and beyond. Great prices. Good beer. Nice atmosphere. Service can be a little slow, but then youre not chased off the tables either, so it makes up for it!
Fantastic vegan fast food. I took a meat eater with me and even he was impressed with the food! The Temple of Seitan have a residency in this pub so all the food comes from their menu. The pub itself is pretty small but drinks are very reasonable and its very friendly
Great vegan food at affordable prices, good selection of cocktails and craft beer too.Staff are also very friendly :Only downside is the shortage of space as it’s so popular!
Went for the brunch on Sunday, had some lovely "eggs" benedict and "chicken" muffin. Look forward to going back to try the burgers!
Amazing Place, best Vegan burger place I have ever been to. The combination of good food, one of my favourite beers on tap (Gamma Ray by Beavertownand it being based around Wrestling and me being a huge fan. The guys working there have a close knit and provide great service. It takes me a while to get there but definitely worth it.
This small dive bar on Deptford Broadway offers excellent vegetarian (or vegan on requestjunk food. Their small menu is tasty and well priced; a welcome addition to the area. A nice selection of craft beers and interesting/appealing cocktails. Though only seating for maybe 20 covers it is highly recommended bar that does awesome food even if you are not a vegetarian.
