North St, Guildford GU1 4YT, Gorom-Gorom
Shopping mall with over 50 stores, including contemporary fashion shops and high-street brands.
Clean and relatively recently done up, there are a good selection of shops and one of the few places still to have an HMV.
Very nice centre although a bit chaotic seating etc in food zone
Been to one shopping centre you have been to them all so samey now little or no originality in any of them.
Well laid out shopping centre in the heart of Guildford. Nice aesthetics, plenty of outlets including Primark, Zara, next , and eateries. Parking over the road in mscp and not bad prices either.
Good variety in this shopping centre, something for everyone with a few decent food options on the top floor.
Well laid out, bright znd airy. Good choice of shops for youngsters.
Very busy but good range of shops.
Nice place for a day trip although very crowded at weekends. If possible try visiting on a week day and enjoy the shopping with peace ✌️✌️ There are many shops to choose from.
Large variety of high end shops. Pretty good choice. Plenty of eateries closer by.
Range of storesWell laid outIt a shopping centre !
Great shopping centre . Lots of shops to look at . Wish I was closer its better than fareham . Clean and tidy . Shame there wasnt toilets on all floors . They closed one set of toilets to clean them and didnt leave a sign out to tell people. Great food Hall a few to chose from .
Nice shopping centre. Light and modern, and ease of access with 2 sets of escalators and lifts. Friendly service and good range of eateries.
Typical shopping centre of 1980s style. No natural light. Souless avenues. Looking tired. Mostly clothing vendors in dark corridors. Food court at top is much nicer. Could do with a serious revamp but thats a very long (30+ yrsstory that will not get fixed any time soon...Oh and the bus station, though still an unwelcoming terminus, no longer smells of urine. Success!
Great shopping centre, still busy, still with shops... and try the Frizen Yoghurt!
Superb place for everyone to shop and dine, good clean and aesthetically designed locale
I advise everyone to visit very good and useful, no microwaves, no freezers, only everything is fresh
Good selection of shops. Bog standard tbh
Very nice indoor shopping centre with most of the international brands and nice collection of restaurants
Good shops but place in general looked very dated, food court left much to be desired!!
Many of the toilets were out of order on our visit lots of different shops
Lots in one place. Convenient, nice location, close to the bus station, clean bathrooms
Was a great place, not far from the train station, great selection of food chains, great selection of shops, all toilets were well looked after. Was a good trip and would go there again if I needed to visit some shops.
Not too busy and a wide range of shops, food court is incredibly noisy though
Clean and well looked after, a nice selection but very few independent stores
Great shopping centre with many shops inside toilets located upstairs along with the food court with food restaurants like subway KFC...It is also surround by many shops outside of the centre. Also have parking nearby but the spaces are a little bit of a squeeze. If your in town and need a bit of shopping its with a trip down
A good variety of shops in a modern and air conditioned shopping mall. Also has a food court on the top floor.
Great variety of shop you can spend all day there. Even has a food court in the top floor.
A great shopping centre with a variety of stores, as well as food outlets.
Pleasant shopping centre. I only walked through as a shortcut. The centre was busy and looked prosperous.
Not the best shopping centre but does have some good shops in it.
No air con, unbearably hot and this was after the heatwave when it was raining outside! Most of the shops were similar so spent time trying to get out of the shopping centre into fresh air, the car park was like some kind of maze as well!
Decent shopping centre with a good range of shops. Disabled Access, right by the Bus Station and a short walk from train station and the high street! The shopping centre stood where the Friary Brewery was hence the Friary Shopping centre is called this!!
Good array of shops. Great location. Plenty of parking nearby
Good mix of shops & well maintained. Some retail shops have gone. Lush probably has the best service
Good mix of shops, however very airless in there today
It’s a nice place to visit including the town and st Catherine’s lock by the Thames riverside it’s amazing walking placeDefinitely worth try 😊
So much of peoples own brands here with lots to offer. Go see its brilliant. Good clothing good technology and good food, n entertainment is there. More Im sure if you seek and ask. Rocky
Went to the shopping mall with my niece and two great nieces , very disappointed with the level of security and safety around the Mc Donald’s area regarding teenagers, there was a fight with three teenagers kicking another while on the floor, it was chaos, it was very bewildering for the public and their safety especially around the escalators, while all this was going on one security officer just stood by as if it didn’t matter and looked upon the fight, I certainly would say to anyone asking, keep away from the shopping mall .
Need more maps and directional posts. If you dont know it you can spend ages looking for what you want. Food Hall is like a creche so noisy and far to hot
Punching above their weight class. Nice selection of shops, however lost atm. If you know you know. Same * different day so if you like that then home sweet home. More life down Angel Gate
Lots of shops but a few more maps would be handy as its quite difficult to find specific outlets if you are in a hurry and not familiar with the layout
Clothing, jewellery, home, sunglasses, music, food, health and perfumes shops. A standard shopping centre, food courts on top floor. 4 stars because food court wasnt particularly clean and toilets leave a lot to be desired.
Wide Variety of Shops and Facilities for everyone to use... The Food Court on the upper level provides seating and a great selection of various food types... Toilets are located on the upper floor and the lower floor and the Friary staff that walk around that you may see are very friendly and helpful 👍
Very bright, very airy and like a miniature Westfields. There is a good selection of shops and now Next has moved into what used to be Top Shop/Top Man makes the place feel more fuller.Parking is easy and not too expensive and has very good cleanliness.
It is usually a good experience, but I take a dim view of when security chooses to treat people who are taking photographs with such high degrees of suspicion. Most people do not take photographs for sinister reasons and want to share their experiences with others. It is disappointing when you take an interest in something, only to be regarded as some form of criminal. The World has changed immensely and it is interesting to see the way in which signs on the ground have been used to guide people and also to observe the degree to which this is being adhered.I do concede that there is a need for vigilance, but there also needs to be appreciation for the beauty of photography. What others find innocuous, others find interesting. It is an interesting mix of shops and usually very busy at the weekend. It would also be nice if the Mr Simms Sweet Shoppe could be expanded as the shop is quite small and usually extremely crowded.
There’s everything you need in this department store; it’s cosy and always warm. It’s always crowded on the weekend and in the food Center on the top floor. The place is always clean, but the restroom is so stinky. Many shops have a discount for students, so don’t forget to ask them about that.
The large walk through shopping mall for anyone walking to the main shopping centre from the Railway Station. Featuring a wide range of retail outlets including HMV, MUJI, sunglasses suppliers, mobile phone shops, clothes shops, eateries both on ground and first floors, accessed by lift or escalator. Even has cash dispensers!Photos shown relate to Holy Trinity Church at the top of the High Street.
Nice shopping centre with everything you need, easy to find and good car park right by it.I visited the shopping centre for lunch and had a choose of places from Starbucks, Prett and other bigger sit in places to eat.
Had to go to a meeting at Surrey University, time to kill so went off to get a scarf, freezing day today.Really nice and clean shopping centre. The one I go to at home is Brent Cross back in London which is quite large, but this one seems smaller and in some ways a bit more cozy.Good selection of shops, so I got my scarf and also a pair of Jeans which was great.Enjoyable experience.
Shopping centre in Guildford. Not sure when it was built, but it’s been there since I can remember. Lots of shops, Holland and Barrett, tiger, Boux Avenue, fuel, urban outfitters, Accessorise, Louisa, primark...can’t think of them all. Aside from the centre, there are shops outside on the nearby streets...an m & s, a paperchase, Boots, WHSmith, Sainsburys, Lush, Yo Sushi.
