Something for everyone, from kids to adults. Very good option for indoors with a wide age range. Kids under 4 are free and found a great Groupon for the adults.

Cocktail class was delicious and not too rushed, though it is only a 30 minute experience. Glad that museum admission was included in the price since it gave us the chance to wander around and check out the rest of the interactive museum exhibits, which were very cool

During a break from a local trade show we were able to learn a lot about the local history. The museum was super clean, many bathrooms when needed and the stuff there was appealing to young kids and older visitors. We were able to leave, have lunch and return to finish learning.

We had our wedding here. Guest count was approximately 45. Frazier was super accommodating with figuring out the best space for the amount of guests that we have. They can pretty much do it all from small to large guest count. We had the coordinator on hand during the day of the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly which helped as well. Definitely recommend!

This is a museum about the history of Kentucky and it does a great job of doing that. It has a great exhibit on the making of bourbon and the history of bourbon. I bought some bourbon in the gift shop because it just felt like the right thing to do. Really attractive museum.

Lovely wedding venue. Rooftop views of the river and the city. Weather was perfect mid-October. Guests were able to see much of museums interesting exhibits. Catered buffet, open bar, music and dancing. Parking behind building is a bit of a walk. Inside there are elevators.

More to this museum than we originally thought. It has three floors with history of bourbon, Lewis and Clark and Teddy Roosevelt, including his rifle the big stick. They also have Custers pistol used at Little bighorn. And other exhibits as well.

Fab place to see cross section of the fantastic history of Louisville and Kentucky! The Lewis & Clark Expedition exhibit was very well done and informative. Plus I now aspire to have a bourbon cellar to match their exhibit.

Excellent museum focusing on Kentucky’s history, and on bourbon. Loved the opportunity to have a bourbon flight and enjoyed being taught about the liquor and how to properly experience it. Thankful the museum didn’t gloss over Kentucky’s dark side and found it did a good job explaining the injustices done to the enslaved and to Native Americans. We didn’t have enough time to go to the film. Next time we’re in town!

This is a must stop for anyone who is on a tour of the downtown Louisville area. They have a great walk through museum with local celebrities and athletes. They also have a pretty good selection of bourbons for sale and the gift shop is pretty good too.

The Frazier Museum was very cool and much more family oriented than I expected. There are three floors to explore with lots of history of bourbon and Louisville, in general. Also, the gift shop had a large collection of bourbon themed items since it is the starting location for the bourbon trail.

I just wanted to leave a review to commend the staff and the museum on a wonderful experience. We were going to go to the speed art museum today, but I didnt like the tone of their website, their poor Google reviews, and excessive restrictions. We decided to come to the Frazier today instead, and wow! We had an amazing time! We used a Groupon which was a great deal. All the staff members were so easygoing and friendly, the museum and restrooms were impeccably clean, there were lots of benches and chairs to take breaks and relax, and the exhibits were engaging. The Louis and Clark exhibit was so fun and immersive. The bourbon exhibit was cool. Our 4 year old loved the whole museum, and we did too! I loved seeing all the updates since Ive last been. Thank you for a wonderful time at the museum. The employees were happy and friendly, and we felt so at ease. With the negative way some other museums are being run, our experience at Frazier was like a breath of fresh air. You all are doing something right at the Frazier- keep it up! We bought another Groupon already, and will be back soon!

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices had a private event here last night and the entire experience was great. The museum had interesting pieces and utilized technology to make the experience interactive. The setup was nice because it allowed for pockets of spaces where music and food were set up. I loved the displays throughout.

One of my all time fave museums, thoughtful, well rounded total look at history from our First Presidents rifle to Breanna Taylor, highlighting our Black Communities struggle. All of Kentucky is right here.First time here 10 years ago they had an Eggun and Orisha exhibit on the Slave Trade that moved me to tears ,I was so happy to see it.

Wonderful place. Exhibits provide content on ways in which bourbon was made. The bourbon collection room is amazing!!! It has all brands of bourbon that is currently sold on the market. Next to it, there is a room depicting a bar. It’s also beautiful. The museum also gives the history of Kentucky, and even touch base on the part on native Americans.

This place is billed as a historical arms museum, and they definitely have a large selection of antique arms and ammunition. Interestingly, they also have a really large collection of miniature figurines and soldiers as well; and I mean a LARGE collection. Definitely a neat little stop.

A little bit of everything here, including Geronimos bow. Not quite a history museum but can almost pass as one and will be the closest to a history museusm youll find in the city. This Frazier guy sure amassed quite the collection of items. From historical, to just odd. Either way, the guy was a philanthropist and seeing that most of these items came from his own collection, youll be hard pressed to find some of these items elsewhere. The lewis and Clark exhibit was great. Worth the bucks and time.

Lots of small exhibits in this museum but nothing really in-depth except for the louis and clark expedition. Lots of daily events so check with them ahead of time on when the free tours are. The louis and clark experience and the bourbon exhibit were definitely the best curated. The womens suffrage movement was also good. Everything else seems a bit random like the miniatures collection and that set of samurai armor.

I went with my seven and nine-year-olds and really enjoyed the section on Louis and Clark. There were some interesting guns and military toys. I thought the emphasis on bourbon was really weird. Roughly half the square footage of the museum was devoted to it and most of the gift shop. I can see a small blurb or even section but this seemed excessive

This museum was a lot better than I was expecting. Although its quite expensive at $14 admission for an adult, I thought it was worth it. Start on the 3rd floor in the Bourbon exhibit and official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, this was also my favorite part. Work your way downstairs and try to see the KentuckyShow! if you have time. Loved this informative video. Also a great place to take children!

As an out-of-town guest I was surprised there wasnt more about whomever Frazier is. After seeing the name all over town, I presumed that the museum bearing the name would have more about the person. However, the museum was very nice, clean, and the staff was very knowledgeable and professional.

A history museum of Louisville and Kentucky. Really large historical tour of bourbon. They have cool displays of the Kentucky Derby specially labeled Woodford Reserve bottles. Bottle hall has every bourbon currently in production and is a great photo op. The gift shop has some special bourbons and vintage bourbons.

This place was interesting. Basic history for the most part. Enjoyed the interactive stuff with my spouse though. My main issue is just the lack of true information on behalf of people of color. I mean I am use to us being left out but there were so many places where I was just waiting to see acknowledgement of black people and people of color in the information that was presented. We had such a small thrown together section, per usual. I think these places only ever choose to really acknowledge us during the civil rights movement. As if this country we did not contribute to so much more from inventions, to farming, to infrastructure practices, hunting tools and processes, the Derby...oh how they love to leave us out of the Derby...anyways, I dont ever intend to go back strictly off of that alone. Otherwise, clean place. Decent atmostphere.

Great place to learn about the history of the State of Kentucky. I love the atrium/ garden area outside. I would not recommend for little children it’s not geared to hold their interest. Gift shop is cool and the photo opportunities are endless. It’s a beautiful building.

Fun way to explore KY history in general. Sometimes it feels like if you’ve been to one distillery, you’ve been to them all. This was a neat place to learn more about Kentucky’s history beyond Bourbon.

A stunning museum full of local and regional flavor. The bourbon bottle display alone is a visual feast (one you could get visually drunk off of), and you get a good sense of the history and culture of a state that has been at the crossroads of so many American movements and eras.

I went here to look at the Hunger Games exhibit and had a fun time looking at the lore and the behind the scenes stuff. Ive gone here before for school trips and every time I go I learn something new, if that matters. Great place to go for history and some of the special exhibits have been really cool. Highly suggest you visit if you have the chance.

Really nice museum. They tell you to start from the third floor and make your way down. Third floor has a big Lewis and Clark exhibit with lots of history, some sound effects like your in the woods and a big waterfall video projected onto the wall to show where they ended their trip at the Pacific ocean. Its good for adults and children. Several hands on sections for kids to enjoy. Informative and very nicely put together. Peaceful. Had some Lewis and Clark artifacts but mostly replica stuff and historical markers along with stuffed animals they would have seen on their journey. A big keel boat replica as well. Also on the third floor is a history of prohibition complete with a speak easy area, a bar setup, a booth where you can sit next to Al Capone while watching video segments on related history. Pretty cool area.Second floor has the toy soldier collection along with the first floor area. Pretty large collection donated to the museum. Interesting items here. Most of the second floor was under construction when I went. Guess it will be a bourbon historical exhibit that they hope to open in 2018.First floor has a small number of items as well including a stuffed bison. They have live historical presentations throughout the day but I missed the three they had the day I was there. Parking is close by and $6 for the entire day. Easy to walk really close from that lot which is manned by an attendant and is located under the overpass.Very nice museum. Somewhat small in size but its will put together and taken care of. Spent about 90 mins here I guess.
