Ordered a a beef roast dinner. The meal came out cold, no taste and was bland. Safe to say the mint sauce saved it.

Delicious food, and menu changes regularly with yet more great dishes. Have regularly visited on a weekly basis, mid week over last year for dinner and drinks after volunteering nearby; dogs welcomed. Great attentive staff highly recommend to all!

Great food and impeccable service as always. Consistently great servers who are pleasant, courteous and attentive.Only constructive thing I would say is that the vouchers they give (6 tickets neededdont really cover any adult mains as the limit they can be redeemed on is a value of up to £12. Regardless, one of my favourite pubs (and Im a real foodie).

WOW! Where to start! Very warm and genuinely friendly welcome. We had booked a table for just the 2 of us on the terrace which is a very pretty little area bedecked with lights. Food arrived promptly and was absolutely first class. Beautifully presented and on the rather generous side! Incredibly tasty. The waiting-on staff were all very attentive without hovering over us. They were also very accommodating when I (awkward as I amwanted to slightly alter a pudding. I really cannot recommend The Fox Revived highly enough. It simply ticks every box and I cannot wait to take friends there and share the experience.

Called in for lunch yesterday. This has been our favourite pub for some time. The staff are alway very personable and welcoming and the food is consistently good. It’s got a great balance between the clean, cozy and inviting bar area and the more formal restaurant.

First time Ive been there I must say very good pub, very clean, staff well friendly and well staffed too.Im not normally a big fan of pub food however the food is excellent, from portion size to taste presentation etc... Highly recommend to everyone

Lovely place. Had the chicken, gammon and leek pie. Delicious! It is a bit of a drive to get to for me but I think I will be making the effort again soon - the perfect pub garden for hot lovely summer we are expecting this year.

Gastro pub, popular on summer eveningsUPDATE. poor vegetarian choices on a recent visit. However, super helpful staff made one up combining two starters and adding green veg.

Nice evening out, but a bit stingy on the sides. Price point is fine for the area, but to order a burger and to have a half handful of fries on both the burger plates. Do not feel that this was fair given nearly £15 for a burger.Would return but as a treat.Nice food just holding back on the portions.

Just popped in for a quick pint on my way home taking a 5 mile detour to visit one of my favourite pub/restaurants. Great beer selection as always. The local Dorking ale was top quality.

Fantastic customer service, really friendly and accommodating staff. 3 adults and 3 kids, we asked for adult starters and kids mains to be served at same time , then adult mains and kids dessert at same time.. it kind of worked. Waited longer than we would have liked for the mains but they were worth waiting for.3 kids (1x 9 & 2 x 12 yr oldsall ordered off main menu - all 3 choosing the burger . Apparently “anti-climatic” (as they thought they were getting the adult burger off menu)Adult burger I had was amazing!!! Other party members said sausages were lacking flavour but ham & leek pie was good.Overall very happy though. Will definitely visit again!

Staying in the Charlwood area proximity to Gatwick at the start of 2 weeks in West Country. The Fox Revived was recommended and did not disappoint! Our host Jane was lovely; very friendly and helpful. My wife is celiac and requires gluten free options. The Fox had a separate GF menu and the food, both GF and non was excellent. Reasonable price overall with very good value for money.

Lovely atmosphere, great service, beautiful location. The menu is concise but the food is well prepared.

Went with friends, last minute decision, no booking but found us a table.The place was nice and warm, we loved the plants around the outside, it was beautiful.We had to wait for service as they were busy, and found we had to go to the bar ourselves to order our drinks.Food was good and delicious, but not for every day dropping in, it was a bit pricey, we thought.

Always a family favourite. Great food, excellent service in a beautiful and relaxing setting. A+

The food here is delicious and really nice staff. The pub itself has been finished to a high standard. The reason for four stars and not five, is because a couple of the dishes were not overly hot when they served them. Nevertheless- will def come again.

Disappointing. We were a party of 12 for a birthday and between us had most of the main dishes, most were disappointed. The food was bland and to add insult, overly expensive. It appears to be a place that should be of a good quality but it really isnt. Unfortunately most of us were unimpressed. The mushroom ciabatta starter in particular was dry and lacked both flavour and sauce. The bangers & mash and the fish pie were deemed to also be particularly bland.Its a shame because the staff were friendly and the venue lovely but the food was just lacking. Personally Id reccomend going elsewhere.

Pretty good Sunday roast. Lamb fell off the bone veg was well cooked and the Yorkshire pud topped it off nicely. Nice pint of pale ale to wash it down. Friendly and efficient staff.

Was just driving past on way home from work on whilst the sun was shining and was tempted by the beautiful beer garden! Enjoyed a lovely salmon dinner and cider. Perfect!

Lovely food, we had a selection of starters which were very tasty. However, the staff were clearly stressed which showed, very polite but you could feel an undercurrent that made you feel uncomfortable, a bit of huffing and puffing, one even said she should have finished an hour ago when I asked what the procedure was for ordering. It was busy but not full, so would worry if they could cope on an even busier day. Sounds negative but hopefully constructive, I would definitely go back.

Had lunch with friends after meeting them at Gatwick. We were early for our 12.00 booking but the pub is open for coffee from 10.30 so we enjoyed good coffee before lunch. Food was great and service very friendly. My friends from N Ireland were impressed and we all really enjoyed it. Will definitely return.

Have been here 3 times and each time was excellent. Went for Mothers Day lunch and the waitress was lovely and friendly. Food was great and even got a little gift when leaving.

Came on Sunday for a roast. Loved the squid starter and followed with the beef and pork roast. Would say a few more green veg would be appreciated as quite root veg heavy, but all very nice including the cauliflower cheese we had. Service was quite rushed and average, no chat or welcoming vibe, was busy though so we just took it as hed had a long day! Overall, for our first visit we were impressed and will be back again

Great food and good choice on menu. Very busy so you need to book, even weekday lunchtime. Interesting choice of specialist gins but I had a glass of wine this time. £7.50 but thats probably standard price for a large glass now. Very friendly staff and enough parking available. Very clean place with a good choice on the menu for a reasonable price. Good portions sizes and good choice of beer and wine on the menu. Staff friendly and attentive. It in a good plaice 10 mins from Gatwick and on a quiet stretch of road in the countryside. Will be back next time we visit the uk.

My friend took me here as somebody recommended it to him. Its definitely unique and a truly charming place to visit. The pub stand next to an intersection so its seems its busy non stop. The staff was lovely and bubbly . Amazing food!!!!!! Best beef I had in ages .. yuuuummm.. will definitely come back in the summer .

Visited with 6 and 7 yo. So glad we dropped by on a warm sunny day.. Amazing all round. Great indoor and outdoor space. Staff, food, drink, service, facilities, cleanliness all if very high standard. Enjoyed a 5k county walk afterwards.

While working in the area we stopped at the Fox Revived and it was the best meal we had while down here.The staff were wonderful and very helpful.The food arrived on good time and both meals were lovely.I will definitely be back when Im down on this area again.P.S. The bathroom decor 😂👌

I came back again! And this time had the Chicken Curry which was awesome and Creme Brulee as I had tasted my mums last time and it was sublime. The coffee and dessert deal is fab for just £6.95. And the fact you get a ticket to collect 6 and goes toward £12 off a meal means Ive got quite the collection growing. Any excuse to return, I dont need my arm twisting.This time we were sat at the other end of the building near the garden. Lots of light and really roomy. So felt comfortable and relaxed.The service was exceptional once again. So thankyou to Michael the lovely blonde that served us and the rest of the team. Keep up the good work. See you soon!

One of those must see/visit pubs. Great decor and in great location. They have plenty of parking. The bar area is spacious and they have good seating area/space. The food is good and have good selection of bar snacks. They have really wide range of gins and mixers. The staff are really professional and friendly. Great outside area for summer time. Also got 2 fire places and really comfy chairs next to them. @SAFFA_FOODIE

Lovely setting. Huge delicious portions. Friendly staff. Beautiful sunset view out the back. Outdoor and indoor seating. Serves food later than most local restaurants. 🎉

Very nice place with great environment and really great outside seating. Great place to bring kids and dogs (not in that particular orderas they have a playing area for both parties. We tried the steak sandwich which was exceptionally tasty and delicious. It is true that you get what you paid for. Polite and helpful service, the barman even found a few minutes at the busy bar to chat a bit and lighten the mood. Would/will go again A+++++

Absolutely love this pub. I visited about 20 yrs ago and was put off by a bad experience. So pleased I went back having seen the great reviews, its a completely different pub. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. The lamb is the best I have had. Great options for kids too.

Great ambience and good selection of ales and wines. Varied menu and the food was well presented and very tasty. A great stop over on way to Gatwick, just 10 mins drive away.

Loved the Pub we had lunch there today and our meals were awesome!! The men had Fish and Chips the girls had Butternut and FETA Quiche and Chicken Ham hock and Leek pie all really good.

Great pub. Spacious well presented pub with really nice outside garden chairs and play area. Food and service was excellent. No mobile coverage but free wifi
