Friendly and cosy atmosphere. Great quality and choice of beers. Lovely staff.
Wonderful micropub, well kept beers and good service
Great little spot in Shipley. Me and the Mrs love it here.
Cosy and friendly pub. Great beer. Fantastic quiz night.
Lovely pub/bar, excellent selection of drinks and staff really welcoming.
Decent pub with good beer
Fantastic choice of beers and great service plus love the funky atmosphere.
I had a pint and a curry in the fox today and it was very enjoyable. What a friendly atmosphere, I could have stopped there all day but I was on my motorbike. Looking forward to my return.
By far far and away the best bar in this Galaxy 😃
Great beer selection in a cosy environment. The cliente are not quite functioning as well as they might but it wasnt a probelm.Still - Ive become very fond of the place!
So busy, not been able to sit inside....
Lovely pub, great atmosphere
Decent real ale pub in Shipley
Nice little pub with outside area round the back and decent beers -next door to a Royal Enfield motorcycle dealership which is worth a look round
Great place very friendly beer fantastic great micro brewery lots of atmosphere
Good selection of beers great atmosphere
A super little independent micro pub. Some really nice beers and a really quirky atmosphere. I would recommend this pub to people who like proper beer!! They do have a variety of drinks for everyone though.
Awesome beer, music and people!👌🍻
Love this little place, have been coming here since it opened, not as regularly as Id like, but love the atmosphere. Especially when theres events going on, the bands are great and really love the open mic nights too seen some fabulous people perform there and some really memorable people too that gave us a really good laugh! If you like proper pubs with great atmosphere, staff and quality drinks variety then I highly recommend it. Also loving their own branded gins too absolute heaven for a gin lover like myself! The only thing I dont really like is the price of a double as its not discounted like most places to encourage you to buy a double which means depending on the type of night Im out for, Ill usually just order a single and not have as many, but other than that it doesnt put me off going to this little gem of a place.
Fabulous friendly pub with excellent ales and live music 🎶
Interesting selection of beers including their own and helpful staff 😁👍
Its a love little pub. The staff seem lovely too. I will definitely pop back in for a couple of cheeky drinks
Great bar no fuss just good beer and services
Good little bar, handy if you are catching a train.Their own beer brewed in the cellar is splendid
Our first visit and cant be anymore impressed. Dog friendly, good music and a excellent range of drinks. The Fox will be our go to local going forward!
Great small pub with a cosy atmosphere, well decorated by the landlord.
Great little bar very near to Shipley Train Station. The staff are brilliant, its also got a great atmosphere.
Cracking pub/micro brewery, good selection of guest beers as well as their own.
Very nice staff great beer shame about garden like a dump could do with some cleaning and tlc

Great atmosphere, small but perfectly formed, didnt have any Rose otherwise would be higher score.
Good atmosphere and a decent pint (mostly of their own Bespoke beers). A good evening out!
Fantastic place with some excellent beers some brewed on premises. The Fox Wit on particular was brilliant. Really friendly staff made me feel very welcome. Highly recommended
Excellent place, well kept beers, some of which are brewed under the bar. Now also growing his own Cascade Hops in the rear beer garden for use in future brews.
Traditional inside, lots to see and look at and great beer. Plus train station right at the back which very handy
Enjoyed a few drinks here. Excellent selection of craft ales, some brewed on site. DJ entertained us and a good time was had by all! Very friendly atmosphere alongside great folk. A very enjoyable Saturday evening. My first, but certainly not last visit!
Small shop turned bar. Plenty of wonderful real ales, keg beers and bottled foreign beers. Lovely place to be
Good bar, but music too loud. By the end of the evening everyone was shouting at each other rather than talking..!!
Great beer selection, loads of foxes, good outdoor area. Just a nice pub really.
One of my favourite local Pub, quirky 🤪 with great range of ales,ciders...Good variety of there own Gin...love itService 1st class 👏Dog friendly Pub
Love this place. Small but so friendly. Went in last night and there was a quiz night. A selection of pizzas on the bar which Im unsure are free or not but people did just help themselves. Looked delicious though.
For the sake of clarity, this is a review of The Fox, Shipley, West Yorkshire...I dont know what to say about whats happened of late to this venue.A place that used to guarantee a great pint served by gentlemen of a certain age who knew the industry inside out, has been sadly replaced, by an establishment that is quite content to supply real ale customers with the thinnest of gruel, invariably served by children...Myself and 3 aquaintances visited this establishment this evening, to be served unquestionably (we all agreedthe worst beer we had been served in many a year (see attached photographs if you are in any doubt).Literally undrinkable, not one of us was able to finish our pint, a shocking indictment in truth, made worse only by the insistence of the female member of staff (whom appeared to be in charge), that the offending pints of beer were supposed to look like that .Again, I will let the viewer decide about the veracity of this rebuke.Anyone with the vaguest understanding of ale would have never have even served these drinks in the first place, let alone attempt to justify them!I visited this public house a month or so ago, and was subjected to similarly poor beer, but considering its previous reputation, gave them the benefit of the doubt.Even the best places can have an off night, right?Well, it turns out that my decision to give this place one more chance was completely misguided. It has got even worse!A cursory glance over the shoulder upon leaving confirmed that the few remaining customers were ALL drinking lager! Not great copy for a real ale establishment.A pub that I used to love, driven mercilessly into the ground.Utterly pitiful.
Nice and cozy. Great selection of beers on tap. Only downside is that its so cosy and popular that it can be hard to find a place to sit.Quiz night on a Monday!
Small bar with a really wide range of beers and continental lagers. Go early if you want a seat as it gets busy later on. Some of the rarer higher percentage beers and belgian lagers are expensive but worth trying. The available pump beers change with guest beers. A must for the beer aficianado a beer festival in one bar.
A real ale lovers dream. 6 cask, 8 draft and a fridge to please anyone. Absolutely lovely staff. As an outsider, I was made to feel welcome; probably a Yorkshire thing. Background music is there without being overpowering and what an awesome playlist. Over 30s will love it. Cant wait to get back to Yorkshire as this is on my hit list. Thank you to all. If in the area, please stop by.
A little gem, great beer friendly pub.
Always good in here. Great selection of beers and bustling atmosphere. Right next to the station so a good place to start or finish a night out. Shame they got rid of the departure board TV!
Fantastic place with a great bunch of locals and amazing landlord and staff. The drinks arent bad either. They brew their own beer and distill their own spirits here!
64 beers, at the time of writing. But changing regularly. There are always several craft cask ales. The choice usually includes at least one of the beers brewed in the onsite micro brewery. At lunch time theres a small inexpensive bar menu with a good choice of hot meals and sandwiches. For rail travellers there is a large screen showing up-to-date train departures from nearby Shipley Station.
Great bar serving real ales and craft lager. Great aptomphere too. Definitely a place to check out in Shipley
