Best lovely wee pub in Ayr! So glad we popped in after seeing this from where we stayed across the river. Carol, her team and regulars so friendly, welcoming, loved the banter and most importantly a decent pint 🍺 So good we went back and we will return as pubs as good as this are hard to find. Looking for a pre 11am drink and chose The Fort Bar. Warm welcome, limited draft ie! no Guinness but settled on can. Lonely for a short while so had barmaids undivided attention and had similar views on life. what more can you ask for, once another similar person looking for refuge joined and added to conversation and then a couple of regulars time drifted and was time to catch bus and end of enjoyable experience. Top Notch visit.

Lovely Wee pub. Very friendly. Pool table. Drink outside for dog. Games to play. Books to read. Family day out. Space for wheel chair. Nice music. T V to watch.. nice good pint of beer.
