an underrated gem in sharjah. i’ve lived in shj for 12 years and only visited this place for the first time yesterday.it’s got a running track, place for kids to play, an amphitheater, some ramps for skating/bmx and a lovely jones the grocer. the island is surrounded by water and a view of the government buildings making it a very pleasant place to go for a walk.it’s a great place to have dinner/lunch and hang out with the family or go for a walk.

Good place for jogging, no entry fees

The beautiful UAE flag is constructed on The Island and the island is known as The Flag Island.The place is too beautiful surrounded by the water, a Garden, and the Fountain ⛲There is also an amphitheater.The place is too beautifully constructed by seeing it you will feel peace and calm from inside.If ur in UAE must visit that place once.

Awesome peaceful place to have a good time in evening. Good for family to come with children so they play good games here.

Flag island is a good place to make your exercises (walking, sport ground, stretching, plank, etc.in the grass area.And of course to observe the UAE Flag itself.Some concerts and activities take place (subject to postpone because of Covid)

Very nice and calm place to visit and for an evening walk.Excellent view.A good corniche.Ample parking is available.An excellent but expensive restaurant "Jones, The grocer" may welcome you.May thru August is very humidified and hot;Recommended for October thru March.

It is a beautiful place with nice ambiance. Thanks to the authority for this wonderful area. Kindly control the cyclists and footballers. They are spoiling the grass and beauty, also becoming a disturbance for the people who walk in the area. The issue also exists in the nearby area- Buhaira Corniche. thanks for this wonderful place.

Fantastic place near Al Jubail area next to Ittihad park with peaceful surroundings & newly opened Amphitheatre & restaurant along with small play area for children & seating area to have look of creek with fishing boats. All Sharjah government administration buildings are visible from island also some part of Khalid Ample parking space is available also electric car chargers available with designated space.

An amazing place such a calm nice place with a a huge lake around it, it has an outstanding atmosphere with a jogging track and exercise machines. Great for a group of friends or someone wanting to workout. But I recommend to get your own water or food because there is nowhere to get stuff inside. Entry fee is free.

Nice outdoor place inside Sharjah and with a good view of the lake, canal and govt. buildings. And of course the amphitheater is amazing.

Nice place with small jogging track.Sometimes there used to be food trucks. And some events. But most of the time its calm and quiet place. You can enjoy with family. Just one restaurant (John s the groceravailable there which is a bit expensive.Plenty of parking area so you dont have to worry about that.

Quite peaceful place to spend time or do jogging/workout. One of the tallest flag post is here with UAE flag. Small play area for kids, though paid. Ample parking bc not many ppl visit this place. You can see, on the other side water, luxury yachts, govt buildings & Souq al Jubail.

A beautiful park and perfect get away in neighborhood especially in late night.Although small but a lot of parking, tolets, seating, music, jogging track, amphitheatre and charging desk makes it perfect place.Its my familys favorite park to spend time.Do not miss fish sightings. Kids will love it.

Theater is good there. There is a single restaurant with nice view but about 6 food trucks. Relaxing quite place. Ideal for running. Go there if there is a party or show. Choose your travel time carefully as there will be a lot of traffic especially if you are starting your trip from Dubai. Parking spaces are available for free.

Great views and amusement water parks with fantastic loops and cyclones that makes your day, also great photo scenery with global views of land water sky traffic landscape bridges and in the middle there is the Flag

V calm place.Not crowded.We often go for walk there.These days ( dec 2017), a festival is going on. Lot of food trucks are there...If u r looking for a quiet and calm place in sharjah, its a must visit.

Sharjah Flag Island is one of the beautiful flag island situated near Alkhan and al Layyeh area. It’s very calm and no much crowd over here. They have beautiful landscapes and flower garden smaller but beautiful. They had also built the jogging area which is rubberized so that can do walking or jogging without any strain.

I love the nice outlay of the park, the views are awesome. You can see many important landmarks from the island with markings to give you the needed information. You must visit the museum and you can have a decent meal in the nearby restaurant.

#FlagIsland is one of the most beautiful spot that celebrates the Spirit of Union. The Island is such a calm and quite place that on a windy day one can hear the flutterings of the flag mounted 120m high. Its a small park with a small jogging track and flowers beds all around. The island has an equally amazing backdrop of a lagoon and a series of mighty Govt Biildings.The island now has a place to unwind in a Restaurant and also an amphitheater.The latest addition to the place is FoodTrucks where u can have differnt typesof burgers and other food. There are facilities to seat and enjoy the food from the foodtrucks...
