The Fix - Specialty Coffee - Coffee shop in Madrid, Spain
Good coffee, quality products, friendly staff! 5stars all day long!
The place is just perfect! Amazing coffee, pain au chocolat to die for and super nice staff! Great brunch! Recommend 110%
The Fix is a Specialty coffee shop in Malasaña neighborhood in Madrid, Spain. They serve breakfast & brunch all day, and have scrumptious gluten free goodies. Their ambiance is neat and modern. You can work on your laptop on their basement as the main floor is laptop free. In the video you can see their gluten free pancakes topped with blueberry compote and a side of bacon and mascarpone cheese. I algo got their long black coffee (twiceto pair with such a substantial breakfast. They forgot to bring the first coffee I ordered and it was a little cold.
As an Aussie on holiday in Madrid, this is the best flat white coffee I:be had here. Not too strong like some do it. Perfect.
Amazing coffee! Super friendly and very relaxing vibes. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, very good coffee, interesting menu options.Plus: You can work in the basement area, which is very calm.
Amazing coffee! Came back for more each and every day! Affordable prices and delicious hallumi salad
Very good coffee and nice and quick service. A bit on the pricy side (espresso costs 2.2 euros). The only thing that could annoy someone was lack of tables on the street.
Lovely coffee shop and best key lime cheesecake
The coffee not for local people. It’s for foreign people.Breakfast so good, the staff kindly and good speaking in English.Prices a bit higher than usual places.
Food is delicious and really clean. They have a perfect attitude and a green matcha latte that I love. Coffee is to my taste extremely sour , so I don’t go there for it . But on all other levels I just love going there
My hubby & me came here for breakfast & it was awesome!! Delicious gluten free pancakes!!! The service was great as well. Will definitely be back
Fantastic breakdast and coffee! The best we have had to date in Madrid. We got bacon, eggs, cold press juice and a coffee. Was really good and staff super friendly.
Friendly staff and decent coffee. Very small and local cafe. On display they only have butter croissants, but if you ask they can toast them with tomato, ham, and mozzarella!Good location around Plaza de España
Great coffee! Have settled on this being our local coffee spot while we’re in Madrid ☺️
Came here for breakfast. The food here is really good, I enjoyed the gluten free pancakes and highly recommend it. Coffee here is also good. Staff are friendly and place is cosy to relax in.
Good breakfast place. Great coffee and food. Dog friendly too.
Delicious healthy food and excellent coffee, friendly and helpful staff.
I think its a nice place. The coffee is good 4.5/5, the attention is great 5/5, and the chicken pesto sandwich was definitely 5/5.I give it 4 because I cant do 4.5 for some reason.I did not "love it" simply because of personal taste. I "liked it". But this is a perfectly good place to visit, have a nice coffee and a toast or a sandwich. No complaints :)
I wish I had discovered this place sooner. Lots of breakfast options and great coffee. I had the avocado salmon and Greek yoghurt toast. It was delicious. We’ll be back next time we are in Madrid!
Cosy and quiet coffee, good food for brunch
We visited this cafe today and it was amazing this was the best coffee weve drank since our stay in Madrid. We also had breakfast here and it was great too. The prices are also great. But the best thing about this cafe is the guys working there they were really kind and nice and also they spoke english very well so there were no problems with the communication. I recommend this place to everyone because it was amazing
Great small place, the food "fruit pancake, avocado, egg sourdough" & coffee "american, flat white" were perfect 10/10, good portion for the price, the staff are really friendly and polite.* They have an english menu 👌* Just maybe if you add pictures to the menu it will be niceThank you and keep it up guys!
This place serve a perfect espacial coffee and quite place, and it is not crowded. I love to go there when I would meet someone to talk to. I tried their breakfast, the pancake with fruits; I wouldnt say I liked it because it had an egg taste and smell. I love their infusion tee.
The coffee and the pancakes there were delicious! Everyone in our group ordered something different when it came to food and drink and it all came out amazing. I Wish I could visit Madrid more often.
Visit here for a great and quick breakfast! There’s a lot of seating downstairs and the staff were excellent. The eggs on toast were perfect. The Long Black is the best coffee we had in Spain! Also, try the lemonade!
Perfect place for coffee & health conscious food. The O.J. was the best we have ever had. The presses vegetables were so good.
Very nice specialty Coffee! Cute place and great baristas! I had a nice and calm experience there. Would visit again! 😊👌
Enjoyed working in the cellar as part of a digital workspace with a great menu if you fancy a coffee while you work. If you prefer to just catch up with friends the upstairs section doesnt allow the laptops so a simple system to maximize everyones enjoyment.
In my opinion, The Fix makes the best matcha latte in Madrid. The vegan toast and banana bread are absolutely phenomenal. They use high quality ingredients and keep everything very clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This was one of the first coffee spots I tried in Madrid and after trying nearly 100 cafes in Madrid, The Fix is still in the top 5.
One of the bests in town. People are nice and helpful, tasty toast (in a huge portionand of course a decent cup of cappuccino (with oat milk). Must visit.
Excellent breakfast great selection of savory and sweet dishes and friendly service.
Really liked this place. Came back the day after.Perfect coffee. Really good and healthy food.Recommended for a good breakfast!!!
Amazing location to stop by and get a cappuccino and a meal. Sandwich was delicious and not tiny like all the other restaurants Ive been to in Madrid.Coffee was amazing but came with no sugar for those who love their coffee black.
Nice cozy place for a morning breakfast or brunch. The avo toast with feta is really tasty. I also got extra bacon and mushrooms, this whole combo was delish. Loved the flat white, these guys know how to roast and make a proper coffee.
Ice latte is on point and the toast with portobello mushroom and carrot hummus is seriously one of the best combos I have ever had… mushroom lovers cannot miss this!!
Stopped here on my way to the temple of Debod, which is less than 5 minutes away. I was very hungry so I ordered the pancakes with fruit and avocado toast, as well as the flat white with oat milk. All were very good portions.
Give it a TRY! Great quality coffee and food made with care and attention. Pancakes with mascarpone were superb. To the owners, great job! I appreciate it. The challenge is ahead of you, keeping this amazing quality as the years come and go.
I love everything about this place. Staff is very friendly, coffee is really good (their passion is coffee). Food was excellent.
Very hearty and delicious breakfast starting from the coffee and the drinks to the pancakes and toasts. The staff was also very helpful and professional. They absolutely take their coffee seriously.
Good specialty coffee and good background music. Some cakes are also available, and avocado sandwiches which some other clients were having and had a great look!PS: I have been back many times to the Fix, and it is a sure bet! Still with great coffee and friendly staff
The Fix is a pleasant café close to the Debod temple. Since I live in the neighborhood, I come here quite often. They roast their own coffee and have high-quality equipment from Victoria Arduino: the Black Eagle espresso machine and two Mythos One grinders. One grinder is for espresso, the other one for milk drinks. The espresso is always single-origin. Ive had pretty good shots at The Fix, never a bad one, but admittedly also never a truly memorable one. The food is good as well. The menu offers lots of breakfast and light lunch options: granola, toasts, salads, pancakes, etc. There also cakes and cookies, but the latter are vegan and pretty tasteless. The interior is minimal and elegant. If you dont get a table on the main floor, theres also a larger area downstairs. Its not as inviting because it doesnt have windows, but its still okay.
Finally - an ALL day coffee & brunch location. The food is homemade with great healthy flavor combos, and fantastic locally roasted coffee!Excellent customer service is refreshing. I was afraid that this place wouldn’t make it after the pandemic, but their commitment to quality has prevailed which THE FIX now has a devoted fanbase - myself included.
Wonderful new place. Great coffee and toast. Nice service and good price. Place is super clean and minimal. Gluten free options. I wish I lived closer to come weekly. Thanks guys! Really liked my pesto and tomato toast. Bravo!
I really enjoyed everything that we have eaten and I also really appreciate that they have gluten free options for everything on the menu. The staff was helpful when I asked about the options. We had the avocado & feta cheese toast with gluten free bread(forgot to take a picture), salmon & cream cheese & avocado toast with an addition of poached egg and we shared gluten free pancakes. The only thing that I didn’t love was the downstairs area, as it didn’t have any windows and the atmosphere, although matching the overall simple design, was a bit too simple. But if you can get one of the tables upstairs the experience here will be a definite 5.Edit: I have tried the bacon pancakes in a second visit, they are amazing, don’t even order the other one just go for the bacon pancakes!
Amazing specialty coffee bar in Madrid.Very high quality coffee. A great selection of beans.Nice looking menu with many options if you are looking for a lunch.Really friendly and helpful!A must visit when in Madrid! Good job. I’ll be back.
The Fix is accurately named as it was the only thing that fixed our Hop On Hop Off bus tour of Madrid. Get at stop 10 on the tour (by Temple of Debodand walk over here for fantastic coffee and food. We had cappuccinos, the chicken sandwich and the veggie sandwich. All were amazing. Very clean, friendly, cute modern vibes. If we are ever back in Madrid, we will go out of our way to come back.
We visited The Fix twice during our visit to Madrid, the first time as a random Google find on our way to somewhere else, the second time because we were so impressed the first time, and we wanted to make we had a great breakfast on our last day in Madrid. The food is all freshly cooked, its simple but seasoned to perfection. All the ingredients taste fresh and of high quality. The coffee is exceptional, dont even think about going to Starbucks when this place is an option.
a cozy cafe with best quality coffee and great veggie sandwich. Love to visit again! the owner kindly recommended other cafes in Granada and Barcelona. Thanks a lot!
Perfect place for a breakfast. Personnel is very welcoming. It gives you a sense of trendy American coffee place like our Blue Bottle in San Francisco. Toasts were a big portion and well cooked scrambled eggs.
