The Farm Agoo - Filipino restaurant in Aringay, Philippines
Scenery is okay but the way to it is not very friendly since the route is just enough for 1 car to pass thru. The availability of the food depends on what they have prepped instead of what you are ordering
The place is perfect for photoshoots. I love the pastel rustic and country home vibe. They serve rice meals and snacks but weve only ordered snacks (nachos and Halo Halo). Service is great. Staff are kind. Hope they could add more choices for snacks, coffee and also pasta dishes that match the vibe of the place.
Had to wait an hour for food. The foods ok - nothing special. Place is rustic but not being kept well.
Perfect place for debut/prenup/family/friendship photoshoots. Merienda foods are also great and delicious. IG-worthy place. 🤩
Affordable but long waiting time for food prep
A very unique experience.Perfect for those looking for a breath of fresh air and wonderful farm view.
You have to pass some narrow pathways (for carsin order to get there. Once you come onto a seemingly better road, make sure to keep your eyes opened since it can be easily missed. The place by itself keeps to its rustic theme with different areas set up for pictures and dining purposes. The food is okay but the service (preparation of foodneeds work as it took a ridiculously long time before our food was given and it wasnt even given at the same time. It probably wont matter if you can entertain yourself or if you arent in any rush.
Its like preserved ruins. It has the vibe of the olden times. It warmly welcomes you with the romantic vibes of the place.
i love the place especially the view 😍
From the national highway, we entered where google maps suggested to and we thought we were lost as it was a random neighborhood. But it was cool that they found a way to the restaurant itself. Entering the restaurant, it felt very tropical and provincial. The vibes were great especially during sunset. Photo opportunities were plenty. However, the plates and tables could use a little more cleanliness. The serving time also took 30minutes minimum, 1hour maximum. Still, I rate this a passing 3stars because the food was delicious (or at least the ones we ordered - chopseuy, beef steak, garlic chicken).
Their accomodation is so very beautiful . They used farm as their theme to make their place more interesting.
The place is so rustic that it’s a little too rundown for a relatively new place. Some parts look good but needs more upkeep for sure. There’s nothing special about the food being served here. The entrance is a bit confusing if you’re coming from the highway because it needs to pass through a residential compound to get to the actual entrance.
Hidden in the center of lush green rice fileds, this quaint and rustic themed restaurant provides a variety of palatable dishes with fantastic views/setting to match. It has an area thats also perfect fpr wedding receptions, and photoshoots. The food prices are very reasonable and they taste better than your average food house in the same area. People usually come here for the unique atmosphere, situated amidat an unlikely location. When driving to the area, look out for the signage on the left side of the street when coming from Manila. You cant miss it since the location is specific in Google Maps. Youd have to enter a narrow road going to the restaurant, and pass by residential houses so youll get the feel that youre just entering someone elses driveway. Street parking is available right outside the restaurant.
Cozy placebut Expensive for common food.Ang bagal din nang food service.Parking Nightmare.Poor signal No wifi.3,500 for pictorial.
If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing place to dine in , must try this. I am probinsyana yet loves to dine in rustic and very "probinsya" vibes because of its farm beside it. I love also how they use every corner of this place. Good for pictorial ,especially those want a rustic theme :I love their pinapaitan ,their food is good. Just need to expand the place for parking area.
Good place to take you photos.
Rustic , makes you remember the old afternoons of childhood years- the mellow sun shining on meadows of green. Multiple buildings made of wood - instagram worthy.Nothing special though but the charm in its authentic old memorabilias- plastered all over the place, is undeniable. I suggest to visit this place from 2-4pm. Later than 5 and this place becones kind of spooky.
Place is rustic, cozy and quiet. Great place for pictorials. prenup shoots, birthday pictorials and more. Food choices is also great, healthy and organic. Highly recommended for travelers for who pass by the area.
The view and services of the staff are excellent! Must come here for memorable moments!
The Farm was established in 2006 but it started to be popular last few years because of its improvement. Cozy Farm Style Cottage. No wifi in the area. Best for groups. Caters prenup photoshoot (not sure what else. I Love their organic Rice coffee. And they should change their business sign outside beacause its confusing. It tells “food house” , that is the very thing you see when looking at the sign. The waiter assign to me was so nice and accommodating (Ben is the name if I remembered it correctlyoverall I Love the Farm
Their food is good and the place is nice. However, it needs a bit of renovation and improvement on their customer service.
Its a little small and parking is a hassle...but the atmosphereis relaxing...good enough for a family...but not for a large group
Food is not good although the place is IG worthy. Need to train staff it seems they are at a lost most of the time.
Location is hundies OG but the service was whack. Waited for an hour and a half to be served with cold soup and deep fried foods.
You need to order your food first before you roam within the venue. The preparation and cooking of your orders takes a long time.
The place is nice and unique in its own way. Food is okay but a bit pricey. Service is very slow though. This is a place where you are basically a part of nature. No air-conditioning system in the different structures.
established 2016... good gor wedding reception
A great place for a prenup photoshoot. Food is reasonably priced and yummy. You will totally feel the ambiance of a farm and a romantic dinner date for couples.
Country home setting, beside rice fields, good ambiance
Nice place, delicious food accomodating staff
A rustic place, great concept of English Cottages. Good place for wedding receptions, serves one of the best Seafood in town. Will return soon with the love of my life. Location is a plus too, but the entrance a little bit confused. Parking spaces are too narrow, someone moved my motorcycle and dumped gravels behind it. Thats too bad.
The place is nice but the pancit I ordered is too salty.
The ambience is great but food is just average. It could use an overhaul to make the place more thematic.
Exclusive resto.. Nice place, unique ambiance
Food is great! Fresh, organic ingredients. Lots of menu choices. Service needs a bit of improvement.Place is cozy and great for dining with friends and family.Yes, the place is really Instagrammable!
The place is quaint but needs to improve on their food. Service needs to improve as well.
Food greatService not accomodatingVenue goodOverall good
The place is Instagramable. But the price of there food is quite expensive. Serving of the food quite takes too long.
It is unfortunate that the setup of The Farm at Agoo has been wasted on the absolute horror of the poor service. Knowing that this is our choice for lunch stopover on the way back to MNL, we advised the staff that we were in a hurry and had to drive a long way back. It took them 40 minutes to inform us that the food we ordered was out of stock. The kitchen system is not equipped to handle even 70% capacity of this restaurants seating. Staff also did not offer apologies or suggestions to fix the problem, which makes it doubly worse. Finally, a WARNING for car owners, the road that leads here is narrow even for Manila eskinita standards. Getting out of the farm road where the venue is is both dangerous and unnecessarily dubious.
Ambience is really great but it took us an hour and even some more minutes just waiting for our food. If we hadnt told the waiter to serve the dessert then they wouldve forgotten we ordered them..
Poor Service. The place is Instagram worthy but the staff will not accommodate you. Dont eat here.
This is a very beautiful place to dine in a rural area. It is also an outstanding place for photography- very colorful structures and green surrounding. I only tried 4 of the many food selections, but I can say that all are good. The halo halo, however, can be improved because the sugar stays at the bottom. The price of food is a little less expensive than popular restaurants in cities (but higher than fastfood resto). The surrounding affects a lot the dinining/photography experience, so I guess there are different moods, depending on the time of the day, weather or season. This is exciting to find out.
Saw this place from my friend’s post and a lot of people doing prenuptial pictorials here. And since I love the idea of a farm house, I knew I have to visit it immediately! I promise you, you wouldn’t be disappointed.(Check our page for a video tour)Aside from the wonderful garden/farm-feel ambiance, the whole place is great for Instagram peepz! Think of being transported back in time when there was still no electricity, and you would have to open all the doors and windows to let the breeze and light in. How I wish I lived in this era.As you enter the vicinity, the air gets cooler because of the numerous trees and plants in their yard. On your right is a little fishpond with a wooden plank walkway to a house. It has a porch with a dining table for a couple of people and the yellow doors lead to the bedroom. A four poster bed stands in the middle and there’s a little balcony where a couple can also sit and dine in. One side of the room is a cupboard filled with vintage oil lamps and another is stacked with linen.A few feet away from the bedroom house is another wooden cottage serving as a dining hall and library. A well accented wooden bar with Emerson lightbulbs hanging above gives off a warm cozy lighting. A long table is situated across it and can sit probably ten to twelve persons. One side of the wall is lined with books, vintage knick-knacks and the like. In the same room, a double door opens to their huge garden area where events can be held, such as a wedding party or debut.Walking up further from this cottage, you can hang out in a little gazebo in the middle of the fishpond. Another couple dining spot where you can privately have a meal with your love one. Beside it is two story cottage. On the bottom floor is a spacious dining area with huge windows opening to a rice field. There are several purple tables and chairs here. On the second storey, you can reserve this for private small family celebrations.Across from this cottage is an outdoor dining area with a few tables. And still up further is another cottage. The white wooden building houses tables good for at least four people in each and you have a view of the rice fields too. This house has country themed decor and is very homey!Just outside is another outdoor dining area and a little tipi hut where you can chill. There are also floating “kubos” but I forgot to ask if they allow people to dine in them since they look a bit raggedy. Now let’s get to the food. We ordered a platter of their farm vegetables, and crispy pata. For two people it was more than enough! I would say it’s good for four already. The price is just right. However, we dislikes the mango shakes. We ordered green and yellow mango shakes and they put in choco syrup which ruined the taste. We tried asking a replacement for one of the drinks (green mangobut they didn’t allow it and we ended up ordering another glass without the chocolate. For me that was bad service. They should have asked if we wanted our shakes with chocolate or without. Green mango and choco wasn’t a good match, in our opinion. And to not replace the drink is also not cool. But, anyhow, overall, I would recommend the place! Definitely worth a visit!#GAPH#gastronomicaladventuresph#theFARMagoo
Cool and quiet place in the middle of the rice fields.
If you want to have instagram worthy pictures then you have to visit this place. The owner surely has a lot of memorabilias. We really havent tried the food, we just ate halohalo which is really not worth the price imo...
Nice view, rightly priced
Definitely I say poor services. We had our breakfast here and didnt expect that they will serve an uncooked longganisa and mushroom soup that you cant even taste a single bit of mushroom but vegetable only. I say dont go here if you dont wanna waste your vacation time.
First time in this place and huge disappointment. My moms hosting it since she hasnt seen her best friends in ages and it was a terrible experience. Will not recommend at all. Heres why:Ambience: The place is called Farm and I dont know why. I just saw few fish in the pond and thats pretty much it. The whole place is a bit old and beat-up which takes away from the overall ambience. Its also dusty and smelly. We were seated in a floating dining room and the ponds a little bit smelly(not pleasant when youre dining). No fan or a/c and had to ask for one. Ill give 2/5 stars for ambience.Service: This ones the worst. Were a group of 6 and the server gave us a small pitcher of water. Didnt even bother to pour it for us. We tried ordering smoothies and he told us that they use powders for flavoring not real fruits. Uhmmm disgusting but thanks for being upfront. Also, a lot of items are not available on their menu. Food took so.ist an hour and when it got to us, it is cold already. To top that, they brought out our rice after 15 minutes and had to go inside and ask for it since our food is sitting there while waiting for our food. Im giving 1/5 stars and even negative if it exist.Food: Some of dishes were quiet tasty and were meh. The (notSizzling Pork Sisig came in warm and doesnt sizzle. Theres a raw egg on top and its almost scary to eat since were not sure if the egg will be cooked or not. It is also borderline salty for my taste. Pulpog and Squids pretty appetizing and tasted pretty good but it is not HOT. Crispy Hito is a meh. Just a cut up breaded fish with no flavors- also came in cold. The goat dish soup is warm and quiet tasty. Im expecting a warmer temp tho. Also, the bowl they used looks like a dog bowl. And the most cringe-worthy, my moms halo-halo. It came in literally melted. Why would you serve a melted halo-halo in the first place?? My favorite in here is the coffee. They use a French press coffee and the coffees really good. Im giving 2/5 because even though food is good, we didnt enjoy it since it came in cold and you can literally find a lot more restaurants with good food.Another notable thing is when I went in to look for our rice, the probably owner (heres wearing a shirt, shorts and slippersknew that I got upset for the cold food and if he really is the owner, he shouldve at least checked on us. And since he didnt and if he really is the owner, he should either close this place down or change his ways since he didnt care.Bye!
The farm is the place to be if you want hiding place while chilling
Im very impressed from this wonderful place. This is very special to go there for meal. And the meal are completely yummy .. I mean masarap :-D
