The best place! You gotta get the Buffalo Crisps there the best you can replace with honey bbq if you can’t have spicy there so good!! ❤️

Eeehh, it’s alright; they only had what looked like one vegetarian option and it was cauliflower wings, maybe a grilled cheese, but for the price I paid for the cauliflower, I didn’t really get a whole lot. Service was alright, no complaints there, perhaps just a bit too pricey for some steamed cauliflower tossed in some sauce.

They hire dishwashers but only use them one day. I would not trust them to serve food on dirty dishes

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to (right now.Our server, Stephen, was friendly, knowledgable, awesome, and pretty fast with the service. I recommend their Peanut Butter Pie. ABSOLUTELY ANAZING!!!

Atmosphere pleasant. I had the gyro. It was flavorful. Wife had fish and fries. She ate all of it. Beers were cold. Restrooms clean. Server was exceptional.

The burger was hot and good. The tots were not hot. The burger sauce was great. Lie the fact they have unique sides like fried zucchini. The service was good. But the place was a bit Lou if you wanted to hold a conversation.

Price Gouging. Hamburger 4 weeks ago was $10. Yea, pricey.. then it jumped to $11... now a burger is $12.50. Im done with this place.

Every visit here is amazing! This is one restaurant where I continue to try new things and am impressed every time. Elizabeth Ann is our favorite bartender and her memory is just unbelievable. On top of being overly friendly, helpful with menu suggestions, she always remembers our drink orders and recent events happening that we’ve shared with her during past visits. Will always recommend The Famous to anyone looking for a new spot to try!

Stopped in after trying once before when the power was out. Enjoyed the jalapeno pretzel bites, chicken and waffles along with an everything burger. Walked past the biggest fish sandwich Ive ever seen. I wish the burgers were hand made but it was still tasty. Chicken and waffles were almost off shareable size and very very good. I was really happy with the staff being friendly its hard to find anymore. Id come back for sure.It gets a 4 star because of the burger, 5 star for the chicken and waffles.

You dont have enough room on here for me to tell you about all the dishes we have tried at this restaurant! Have not had a bad one yet the soups are absolutely unbelievable the soup and salad is a real Fair shake for $8! And the avocado egg rolls are a must when you go there! Their sandwiches are delicious everything they have is so tasty and so fair for what you get! This is definitely our newest go to place! Service is excellent! And the place is immaculate!Got the fish sandwich today it was a special fish and french fries that was very disappointed in the fish! It was so greasy, I left it on the bottom bone just to drain the grease! Everything else there has been awesome but this I will never get again

Delicious Food!!! Most people at our table ordered one of the burger options. I ordered the Fish Sandwich. We were all very happy with our food and will definitely be back when were in the area!!

This place never seems to disappoint. My family and I stopped in this evening to have dinner after a pretty trying day.Our server ended up being freaking awesome. My wife absolutely loved the tacos she ordered. My son has been addicted to the famous tots for a minute, so he stayed with old faithful. As soon as I saw that they had chicken and waffles on the menu, I had to try them out! WOW!!! I’m not sure why I’ve never had this before, but it won’t be the last!Thank you for another incredible dinner. We will definitely be back again soon! You’re one of the few restaurants in Centerville that consistently delivers a five star experience! 💙🦾

This is an incredibly fun time. The menu boast such items as “TV Dinners” that will take you back to when you were younger. Even nostalgia couldn’t make these dishes taste better. It also has a full bar and excellent drinks!

Nice place, food was ok, not great. Our waitress was the owners or managers daughter, she was ok but not very friendly or helpful. This was our 2nd time there and I dont think well be back.

The food was great, the cocktails were great, the staff was great. I definitely recommend eating here. The only downside is that the handhelds don’t include fries but the one we got (wrapwas large enough you didn’t need a side.

Good menu variety. I enjoyed the Chicken Quesadilla and my wife the Fish Taco. Portions were good and the pricing was good too.

This is one of our favorite places to dine. Very family friendly and excellent service and delicious food. There are so many things I want to try on the menu but seem to always switch between the Fish & Chips and Wings. My husband tried the Chicken & Waffles and loved it! We always start our meal with their chips and queso - soo yummy!! Speedy service, reasonable pricing. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants!

My granddaughter had just finished her second semester at college with straight As and to celebrate she wanted to go to Famous Restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious, the waitress so helpful and now I know why she wanted to go there. Yummy!

We were hoping to try this place out finally and on such a nice evening we wanted to sit on the patio, but the hostess told us that they weren’t going to offer anymore outside seating because “the servers don’t really like to work out there in the evening. You’re better off coming in the morning”. So we ended up across at Archers who just put out their patio furniture in preparation for nice weather. As a former server and bartender. I have never heard such an excuse for no outside seating.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, on point service. Everything anyone could want. My son got the chicken and waffles. It was a rich and decadent meal. The chicken was fall apart tender with the most amazing breading & the waffle was top notch! I opted for the healthier chicken bowl. Once again, the chicken was delicious! The salsa, rice, and veggies went perfectly together. There is traditional tavern food (burgers), unique dishes, and healthier options to choose from, something for everyone. I cant recommend this place enough.

The avocado egg roll appetizer was delicious. Our waitress Madison was great. I didnt love the fish tacos. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely go back.

April 3, 2022 Sunday lunchtimeNot the 1st time here, I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU to for the Awesome service. From the check in desk, our server (Margaret), to the food prep in the back! Everyone did an amazing job. My husband and I had the Chicken Quesadia and I had the side salad. Very few places take the time to properly cut the salads, I didnt even have to cut my lettuce. THANK YOU!! We will definitely be back!!

First time at The Famous Restaurant and i’ll definitely be back again. The service was quick and friendly.Ended up getting the fried avocado, the famous fish sandwich and the famous burger. All of it was amazing.Was barely able to get any pictures before it was all eaten up. The serving sizes were generous and the fish sandwich was huge! Worth the price for sure.

I dont typically write negative reviews but this one is needed. My husband and I decided to go here yesterday spur of the moment. When walking in the first impression is that its cute, seems clean and organized. That was probably the last of the positives. Making this 2 stars because of the initial impression and because Im hopeful that other staff treat customers better than we were treated. Our experience below.*Waitress was completely disinterested in her having to be there. Not personable. No sense of urgency. No concern for details.*Order made incorrectly- requested tomatoes not to be on the burger. Piece of tomato on the burger around tomato soaked bun where they had realized their mistake and took it off before still trying to serve the same bun.*Waitress advised that pickles werent on the sandwich but on the side. Burger came out with pickles on the sandwich and she acted as if it was ordered that way. Ultimately she took it back to have it redone.*Replacement burger comes out and is missing the lettuce that was to be on it...waitress now clearly annoyed..leaves and comes back with a couple pieces of lettuce on a plate and tosses the plate down and walks away saying nothing.*Husbands platter was to include fries. Came out with no fries. Asked waitress and she said not included but that it was extra. We explained again that that wasnt accurate. She finally got her notebook out to double check and realized we were correct.*After finally getting the correct orders, we go to eat and its all lack luster at best. Nothing was very good. Just mediocre.*Never received refills on our drinks even after the waitress asked if wed like some.Just an all over poor experience. Between staff attitude and food preparation we will likely not come back.They can and should do better.

Very slightly above average in price but delicious. We did the animal style tots as an appetizer which was fantastic. They use real bacon instead of bits. The famous burger was also delicious. We will return!

My first time at this restaurant wanted to try something different—friendly, clean, and laid-back environment. They have a nice bar with televisions all around, something for the kids and adults to watch, especially if the big sports game is on.Our waiter (Miawas very attentive and fast with our appetizer, dinner, and drinks. They have menus you can access through your mobile phone via barcode, or if youre not into that, you can still get a paper menu at your convenience. The food was perfect, fresh, and hot.Ive been eating healthier as of late, so if youre looking for something more fit-friendly, there are menu choices for that as well and kids. Prices are very fair for the size and quantity of food pieces you receive, for example, Breaded Boneless BBQ wings if you want to try something different and grab a drink for yourself or with friends at a great price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I stopped in with my business partner earlier this afternoon to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. I had brought him here a couple weeks ago and he absolutely loved it.Today when lunch was mentioned he said, “I want to go back to that same place you brought me to last time!”I have ALWAYS had phenomenal service and excellent food here. Today was no different for me.... Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and on her stuff throughout the entire meal!Even though my friend said his coleslaw was just “OK”, he still managed to eat every bit of his meal like he was a stoned, pregnant, hostage with a tapeworm.😂We will absolutely be back!!! Thanks again, you guys ROCK!😜🤘🏼

Excellent service at an outdoor table. We ordered a boneless chicken wing salad and the fish and chips. The salad was good, however, the fish and chips were a true WOW-Moment! Best TV dinner I’ve ever had!See the menu to understand the last comment.The floor leading to the restrooms is truly fun.

2/28/2020Ive been here 2 times now and have to say its wonderful. The Famous was packed out with people waiting to eat. I have to say that I love the decor in this place its got a very clean and organized look and feel. The Famous has a large selection of craft/draft beers to choose from with a nice variety of food to choose from too! My wife and I thought the food was excellent here! The hostess was friendly and so were all of the staff that served us. Our waitress was great and she was on top of everything! We had a terrific dinner and are very much looking forward to going back very soon!Please give a (likeif you did. TY!

Great atmosphere and a lot of great choice on the menu. A little something for everyone. I went with the pot roast burger and it is every bit as delicious as it sounds. As for the draft menu well done Famous with all the standard fare. But for those with a grownup pallet, they have a killer dark line that is so with the visit. A place to bring friends.

So much food and so good. Bartender is always so helpful with beers and food always great suggestions. Ordered avocado egg rolls, the all American double and Neapolitan milk stout.

First time trying this place out. For a Friday night, arriving between 6pm and 7pm, there was a 20 minute wait for a table for two so that wasnt too bad. Food was really good and the staff was extremely friendly and did a great job. Ordered the avocado egg rolls as the appetizer and they were really delicious. We probably finished them two seconds after they came out to our table. Then we ordered the chicken and waffles and the "Everything Burger" as our entrees and they did not disappoint! We will be back!

AWESOME. This place has a family feel and has large tables to handle large groups. They have a large beer menu with both craft and domestic options. They had Bud Light (pretty big glassesfor $2 on a Saturday night. Yes, please. The food menu had everything from dinners to sandwiches, burgers, salads and more. They also had a good kids menu. The helpings were very generous and the pricing was very reasonable. This is definitely a new favorite, Ill definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Unique upscale-ish tap house with well done decor and distinctive menu options. Servers were very friendly, food was timely and fresh, and even plating had extra care. Beer tastings as well. Very affordable, well branded, and highly recommended.

Good food and service. Not crowded or loud during weekday lunch. Lunch specials available: Burger, fries and drink $10. Regular prices seemed high. I liked the double burger because it was two thin patties instead of one thick one. More flavor that way. Nice restroom. Full bar and several TVs.

We were seated right away and waited on fairly quickly. However food took almost an hour to arrive. I ordered the chili cheese coney and it was delicious. My food was warm but our kids food was cold. The service was fairly slow, our waiter was nice but I think his section was over seated. I might give it another shot down the road.

Food was exceptional. The chicken and waffles tasted like a funnel cake almost fresh and crisp outside with tender fluffy inside lightly dusted in powdered sugar. The chicken was juicy and succulent with chunks of bacon scattered all over.Highly recommend this dish if you like chicken and or waffles!We also got the Disco famous tots, which are freshly cooked tater tot discs smothered in shredded roast and gravy, scalloped onions and cheese.The service was extremely friendly and went smoothly. Our food was hot and in front of us in no time at all.They have amazing coffee as well served with half and half. Im a big fan of it and would come for.just their coffee.5/5 recommend this place to anyone as they have something for every one and you really cant go wrong with anything on their menu and their service is exceptional.

Love this family restaurant. What an amazing combination of 2 great local restaurants. Double days and the Golden Nugget Pancake House. The chicken and waffles are delicious. Also the Buffalo Crisps are really great, the wonton chips are so good. I love the family related decor.

I would definitely eat here again. I ordered the fish bowl, which contained haddock. The meal was good but there were sections of the fish that were a little dry. The Dangerous Dreamsicle Dream was my choice of drink for the night, I could see myself drinking quite a few of these.

Really wasnt too bad. I had the fried avocado app and the buffalo chicken tacos. Both good selections. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. Never visited by a manager or anything though... Customer service will be critical in making that place survive. The menu (especially the kids menuseems a little light.

Absolutely great food and beer. Atmosphere was recognizable from the previous resteraunt but has a refreshed feel to it. Recommend the buffalo chicken tacos w/slaw, absolutely mesmerizing. Extremely fast service in my few trips. Will be visiting regularly.
