Never knew this was here. Learned a little more about the area. Refreshed my memory on Ohio history. Nice walk through the park and history lessons along the way.

Beautiful park. However, that is about it. I was disappointed. It was more a hiking trail than a History site. Sure, there were some markers but very little in the way of interpretation and preservation.

Dang!!! No shade for 75% of walking trail.1Disappointed that visitor center isn’t open on Saturdays.2Have I mentioned that the walking trail has no shade from the heat for 75% of the trip?3If you disregard the above warnings, definitely turn around at the bridge that marks the end of the tree (read “shadepotion of the walk.4Final warning, don’t leave the shade of the trees.5Pack cool water

Lovely 1.5 mile loop trail with interpretive signage on the battle. Seems very American that it is right next to "Fallen Timbers Mall" which you have to drive past to get there.

Nice memorial and well maintained park. The memorial itself, and information plaques dont take long to view, maybe 15 min tops. The park does have other walking trails. The battlefield is a 1.5 mile loop with many information plaques.

Nice walk, was about 1.5 miles. Easy path. But I would start on the left side, so I could end my hike in the wooded area, just my preference.

I was shocked to see that Bicycle riding around this loop is now prohibited. This was a very nice place to take children on a bike ride. This is very dissapointing.

Visitor center is a future event The stamp was located on a sign to a foot car that took you along a trail of the battlefield. The actual monument was farther up the road from The visitor center and that is what the pictures are of very well maintained park.

Unfortunately, there is no visitor center. No one was around to help with any issues or give any information. There was a board behind the “future visitor center” but the stamp had been stolen. Of course, if it was in a building or with a ranger, this would not have happened. Now, the park was nicely kept. There was some information on the board that told a little of the story of the area. The walking trail was nice, muddy but that was ok because it had been pouring rain that morning. If I’m ever in Toledo again, I may stop back but disappointed in the overall experience.

It was just a trail with information on the battlefield. The monument is not at this location and there is not a standing fort just woods and a field.

Great place to walk dogs. The visitor center is not a visitor center but a rental hall. The 1.5 mile pathway could use a garbage can half way around. Who wants to carry a bag of poop 1.4 miles?

Visitor Center was closed unfortunately due to the pandemic. Bathrooms are still available. Historical plaques explained what happened here in the late 1700s and the significance of the Battle of Fallen Timbers. The parking lot was larger than I expected and there were 10 cars in the lot at 930 am. Several were walking the trails or bicycling on the Metropark trails. I wish the signage was better on the trails so out of towners could figure out where they were! Three stars because Visitor Center was closed.

This is a paved/stone, wooded/open walking trail which loops 1.5 miles. If you go in autumn, you can enjoy the forest turned yellow. Beautiful! Some pretty overlooks and the history is interesting.

Battlefield Park is a small but nicely maintained Metropark with a stoned running path, nice bathroom facility, and bike pump/tool station. It is connected to other parks by the Wabash-Cannonball trail.

My husband & I enjoy this park because the trail is so nicely marked, and the information tags tell what people need to know about the Battle of Fallen Timbers. The trail is a leisurely 1.5 miles and really puts the walker at ease.

Went to a reunion in the park/park building (which was air conditioned--thank goodnessThis worked out great! The food could be kept warm, or cold as needed and no bugs in it. Everyone was able to sit at tables and visit or some went outside, sat, or walked the trail. This was a perfect location!

Take a walk through a historical battlefield and read about the participants. There are many plaques full of information along the path. There are open areas that may require sun screen on sunny and hot days. There are public restrooms available near the parking lot, which is free. Walking is easy on a well maintained path. The battlefield is not the easiest place to find. I recommend searching Google Maps.

Interesting place with a fascinating history. The trails in and around the park are quite nice; and, I liked the historical markers placed along the trail describing the events that took place here. The view of the Maumee River valley is wonderful. It would be nice though if they had an actual visitors center to more fully explain and interpret the events that took place here, and their importance in US history.
