The Factory Cafe - Coffee shop in Chumphon, Thailand
The Factory Cafe in Chumphon
Description
Privilege
The coffee was goodbut the food was a bit bland and pricy. We got eggs benedict and the factory brunch.
MoreWe loved this place! Have gone there multiple times for breakfast or just some coffee. Banana bread and carrot cake (both warmwere amazing. As well as the granola, porridge and factory brunch. All was great 👍 loved it!!
MoreCoffee was 10/10! We also had vegan scrambled tofu which was not so good. The toast was good but lacked a spread.. the vegan hot dog was cool.In general the place looks awesome and we wish we could come back to try other dishes.
MoreBest breakfast and lunch spot on Koh Tao. Great vegan and vegetarian food, great coffee and vegan treats. The Cafe has a great atmosphere and is also a good space to get some work done.
MoreGreat coffee, friendly staff. Tons of tasty looking vegan food, but we didnt eat and I aint no vegan.
MoreBy far the best cafe on Koh Tao.Not only do they know how to make a good cup of coffee, their food and pastries are delicious too.Especially enjoyed their (veganporridge!
MoreLovely breakfast/lunch cafeVegan banana bread fresh and warmTasty and good soy cinnamon latteRecomnended👌
MoreVery decent cafe with operational air conditioning and extensive menu. We stopped by just to get some coffee and dessert. Cold brew was good (although I would prefer it to be a bit stronger in taste). Freshly squeezed orange juice very good indeed. Brownie and banoffie decent, but rather small in size (brownie bit too crumbly). Prices are very reasonable.
MoreThe banana cake was genuinely delicious. The iced coffee I ordered was ok, though it would have been better if the taste was a tad stronger.
MoreFantastic food! The egg’s Benedict comes on a potato cake instead of bread which is a nice little touch. It also comes with two types of greens (salad and cookedand a tomato salsa which is not spicy but adds and nice flavor. The smoothies bowls are delicious, the chocolate one is a like a healthy dessert, filling and just the right amount of chocolate. The smoothie bowl portions are nice and big! The chia latte, iced or hot, comes with a nice blend of spices, I get one regularly! To top off the meal they have bounty balls, a coconut/chocolate mix that is just the right amount of sweet and energy without being overpowering. We have been 10-12 times and will definitely keep coming!
MoreFav brunch spot in Kao Tao. Tasty food and love their smoothie bowl. Love the atmosphere.
MoreVery beautiful place, good coffee but the food wasnt that great.. The Granola is a fruit bowl and there is hardly any yogurt and the Acai bowl as a taste of berries cause its mixed..
MoreDelicious food, reasonable prices, loads of vegan and veggie options and healthy food.A great spot for brekkie or brunch! Highly recommend :)
MoreBest coffee in Koh Tao! Would be great if it opened at 7 before morning dives but lovely place to grab a vegan banana bread and a latte. The food also looked great!
MoreOutstanding delicious food with amazing vegan options. Seems a little pricey until you see the generous portions! Ate here again the next day and not disappointed. Be sure to try the bounty balls :)
MoreThe food is so good and healthy and the staff are friendly and helpful 😀.
Food was ok. Very European, but no European quality. Coffees and cappuccinos are way too hot which burns the coffee beans and milk. The oats I had was also too hot with 95% oats and very little topping
MoreI’ve tried a few breakfast spots in town and this is definitely my favorite so far! The factory breakfast is loaded and super affordable! And comes with coffee all for 200 bht! Staff is kind, environment cute! This place can get crowded though so maybe try and go before or after brunch rush to have more space!
MoreCoffee, tea and all day brunchIndoor and outdoor areaCozy cafe
My favorite place on the whole island Koh Tao.Coffee is great and looks good, but the food is even better!Canto tally recommend and I think you have to try it at least once! The Café is really beautiful and has a great atmosphere!Staff was super nice and helpful. My favorite things were: Falafel Wrap (with Mango inside and you will love it), the Falafel Bowl (forgot the actual name but youll find it).
MoreCame here every day for my morning coffee and açai bowl! Delicious coffee (even though they charge 30b for ice which is odd, but I didnt mind), amazing interior, fast wifi, great staff. Ill miss this place!
MoreVery cute boho coffee shop. Only lost a star because their smoothie bowl was warm, over blended, and foamy (from overblending. Menu attached. Other than that good healthy selection of coffee drinks, smoothies, and lunch items. Their premise is to bring fresh, health related ingredients into their foods and stay relatively vegetarian and vegan. My wife had oatmeal with fresh fruit, nuts, and other ingredients, a coffee, and turmeric latte. They were good and well thought out recipes.
MoreWe ordered the egg Benedict’s and the Hollandaise sauce is really bland, in other words, it’s not tasty as it should be. Moreover, our scrambled eggs are really hard and it turns out to the famous Thai omelet, which is really hard instead of the usual soft and buttery scrambled eggs. However, the iced long black the vibe of this cafe are amazing. I would only recommend to order drinks here instead of food.
MorePerfect place for brunch! Coffee was delicious, however we were not the fan of turmeric coffee. 🤭 everything else was delicious!
MoreGreat spot for a refreshing, healthy lunch. I had the protein nourish bowl and the chocolate smoothie, all vegan and delicious! Would recommend both items! Staff were lovely
MoreHad the best food here. Its so delicious and looked good (also vegan). The prices are fair. Loved it!
Moregorgeous little roadside cafe! seating inside and outside. An array of quaint plants adorns the walls and entranceway leading into an air conditioned and comfortable interior. The decor is pleasing with darker and lighter wood tones mixing. Seating was comfortable.grab a menu and order at the counter with the polite and friendly staff. Food came quickly and was delicious, included some gluten free options that were quite good (pancakesthe coffee was excellent!Very cozy and relaxing vibe definitely recommend a visit for breakfast or brunch!
MoreRelaxing cafe near Bans. Tried cold brew and it was good. Pancake is unique here - the flour is very similar to Thai dessert and the banana is very good.
MoreThe most hipster place on the island. Always full, people come with laptops.— space outside and inside;— good factory branch;— my favorite pancakes on the koh Tao;— the best coffee and sweets.Nice place :)
MoreSmall cafe across 7eleven, offer okish pancake and brownie. With various vegan food and snacks.
MoreLovely small place on the road. Everything is made with love and consciously designed with care for the environment. We had pancakes and one of the bowls, orange juice and coffee on the side. Coffee is great, single and double espresso cost the same.
MoreThis place do the best vegan banana bread and the best vegan fudge peanut brownies! I think we had them almost every day for the whole week. At 60 baht a pop they are a decent size too. Vegan food here is also tasty in a nice setting.
MoreThe best vegan brownies and vegan banana bread! They serve a lot of vegan dishes, including breakfast and lunch :we love the banana bread for a light breakfast!
MoreThis is a great find, especially for vegetarians and vegans! Great choice of vegan deserts, salads and savoury meals. I love it that there is an air conditioned interior without flies and mosquitoes! Small seating area outside as well. The only negative is that it closes at 4pm... Just when its time to have a smoothie or an afternoon tea. Please consider remaining open till 6pm :)
MoreNice small place. Warm atmosphereDelicious and healthy food. Not expensive at allWill definitely go back 😍
MoreSmall but cute cafe in Koh tao, easily located. This cafe is friendly and not so crowded. Some people are here to work. They have healthy options like juices, tea, vegan energy balls and western food.
MoreI wanted to try many more options but it closed early at 4pm.I tried the meaty Philly wrap (vegetarian, meaty mushroomswhich was excellent. I tried the avocado, mango summer salad. Nice.Prices are very reasonable for such feel good food. If only they would open for dinner!
MoreVery nice cafe and very nice place. Super relaxing. Absolutely amazing if you wanna work with your laptop and spend some hours on a quiet place surrounded by plants and green.
MoreI ate here for a late breakfast on a weekday morning and I got the smashed avocado toast with a poached egg add on. It was good, but not very filling. For the same price, there are several other options right in the same area (a bakery and a vegan placethat offer much more filling, satisfying options. This place really boasts healthy options and offers many nutritional substitutions and vegetarian and vegan choices! The indoor atmosphere is air conditioned and comfortable. But the food took a while to prepare (which speaks to the quality of it!and if youre not really interested in having the most health conscious option, any of the many other Western food places that offer breakfast would be more satisfying. This is a nice place to hang out with friends or get work done, but not the best for a big, filling, Western breakfast.
MoreOmg. If I could rate this coffee shop 15/5, I would do it. The food is simply amazing. The service is FAST (which is something rare in european restaurants in Koh Tao).We loved everything. The coffee is perfect, not burnt at all and tastes great. They have their own recipes for pastries (energy balls, granola...). Seriously, just go there if you want a nice light breakfast or a healthy lunch. But dont worry, you ll still get full afterwards tho 😏
MoreReally enjoyed eating breakfast here more than once. Coffee is perfectly pleasant and I enjoyed the overnight oats, avocado on toast and eggs benedict options at various points. There’s a really pleasant atmosphere in the cafe, lots of green plants wooden furniture. A decent start to the day.
MoreGet the banana bread! Not pictured here because I ate it too fast (it was that good), the banana bread brings back memories from an Australian childhood with its delicious blend of strawberry jam and banana. Also ordered the eggs benedict and fresh coconut. The eggs were cooked perfectly and uniquely served on grilled (localvegetables, serve in a potato bread slice. Fantastic.
MoreIMHO, this is the best place on Koh Tao for vegan and vegetarian food, currently. Excellent quality, good portions, good selection, extremely fresh, healthy and well presented. Picture posted is the lean protein bowl. I have tried several dishes and all are the same top quality. It is especially nice that they have new specials each week. I’ve also enjoyed the passion fruit kombucha!
MoreAmazing place, nice atmosphere and the food is just insane... the smoothie bowls are delicious and the pancakes with banana and caramel are outrageous...We ordered the pancakes, the tropical smoothie bowl and the brownie smoothie (gluten free)Prices are not crazy, for 200-300THB you can have a great breakfast.100% recommended.
MoreInsanely good smoothie bowls and smoothies! Had breakfast here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and the very relaxed vibe of the place. Good place to work out of, given the free WiFi, and great selection of drinks such as cold brew and smoothie shakes.
MoreAfter an afternoon of swimming around, I was pretty famished. I was looking for a new place to try that was near me & The Factory Cafe did not disappoint!I ordered Chocolate Chip Pancakes (syrup on the sidewith a side of two fried eggs. I gobbled up EVERYTHING! My plate was so damn clean, lemme tell ya! The flower & basil garnish, too!The Cinnamon Porridge/Oatmeal was delicious & comforting to the soul, too.Their Vegan Brownie is PHENOMENAL! Moist, rich, & not too sweet. Oh mah freaking gahhh 🤤Unfortunately, its hit or miss on runny eggs here. The Eggs Benedict I got basically had a hard-boiled egg on it. Kinda ruined it.Also, they are definitely NOT open & ready at 8am.Its nice & air-conditioned inside, but theres outside seating as well. I love the decor & cushioned seating. Im definitely looking forward to coming back & trying some of their other items on the menu.
MoreGood healthy/vegetarian concept cafe with tasty and unique dishes. Good luck personalising your dish though. Only worked 1 of 3 times for me (just asking to exclude 1 ingredient). Very good desserts. Coffee was OK. Fresh juice was very good.
MoreEasily the best vegan-friendly spot in Koh Tao! I LOVED it here and can’t wait to come back. Pablo is such a friendly staff member and super helpful for ordering. The ambiance is really cool, hip and trendy. They have homemade kombucha, which is awesome (I tried the star fruit flavor)! I loved their vegan berry pancakes but I’m OBSESSED with their vegan Philly cheesesteak wrap (be sure to add vegan cashew pesto for an extra 30 baht!)I’ll definitely be back!
MoreThe best place for delicious vegetarian food and coffee, also caters for the vegan souls. Absolutely everything is home made - from the hummus, tzaziki, peanut butter, to the wraps, muesli and breads. The gorgeous French owner, Alice, insists on sourcing ingredients locally and her dishes are beautifully presented, fresh and seriously yummy!I ended up eating there every lunch during my stay and have tried the deliciously filling shakshuka, beautifully coloured smoothie bowl as well as the seriously tasty wrap. I took a bag of the homemade muesli home and its really moorish!! Im just disappointed I didnt get the chance to try out her famous potato cake. Ill save it for the next time!Located conveniently near the entrance of Sairee beach, with a stylish and cosy industrial decor, dressed abundantly with green foliage, the cafe is clean and very well presented. There is a good and speedy internet connection and the air conditioned interior is a nice break from the heat of the island. My favourite one stop brunch place in Koh Tao. I hear the owner is introducing new dishes onto the menu, I tried her salads already and they were so lush.... A must try&visit in Koh Tao!
MoreVery western place with lots of healthy and vegan friendly dishes. The breakfast is quite nice but a bit expensive compared to local prices. The food is served in a beautifully rustic and picturesque way. The cafe is located next to a powerhouse, which means you have eat in the pressence of engine noise. However I did not find it too annoying, since they played music in the cafe and there was already bit noise from the ceiling fans.
