The Dubliner Irish Pub & Restaurante - Bar in Vallegrande, Bolivia
Well, what can I say... this has become one of our favorite spots we love Thursdays for their burger nights! Sweet Potato fries are killer!! Nomnomnom p.s. the day cook is the bomb diggity!!
Ive been to The Dubliner a few times over the years. The first time was about 25 years ago. There was a great performer there playing a mix of Irish folk music and more modern covers plus a bunch of audience participation. It was a blast!Last night I went with my dad and brother, and as luck would have it the same guy was performing again - Tony Cummins. He and his drummer were great!Besides the music and fun the did, drinks, and service were top notch. I highly recommend their all you can eat Fish Frydays!
Didnt try the food here yet. Been to the Dubliner twice. Service is good. Ill be back.
Good food, neighborhood joint. Nice place.
This is our little neighborhood go to hang out...we play darts and have a ball every time! Love The Dubliner!
Food selection is wrapped around Irish food all sounding delicious. I had the Friday night fish AYCE cod. It was really good. Small pieces but always came out hot and all cooked perfect. Slaw was heavy on the cabbage not a lot of bite to it but good overall. Fries were crisp and fried to perfection. Wife had shepards pie. Smaller portion but delicious and perfectly cooked.Beer ice cold. Patrons, wide range and overall friendly. Service, kitchen is spot on: bar on point; server, busy and a little forgetful but very friendly and attentive. Overall, we will be back and looking forward to another Friday. Picture of extra order of cod.
Excellent service from bartender and server! The sampler platter was perfect and delicious! Had fun playing pool and throwing darts while drinking some Bud Lights =>
Large sliders, large size portions. Large menu selections. Reasonably priced drinks. Its a neighborhood institution!
Quality gone way down! This was the one place I went for Fish Fry, but not anymore. They changed the fish and the fries, it is the absolute lowest quality of ingredients possible. I was sick all night after eating that food. Super slow service made the experience even worse.
The bartender Nick & all the staff are amazing! He’s super knowledgeable on all the spirits they offer. Employees there alwayshave a positive attitude. Always enjoy their food and service. Ask Nick for an old-fashioned when you see him!
Went to the Dubliner for the 1st time in years. Service was slow, but I understand that staffing has become an issue. Very busy bartender was doing double duty and waiting tables, she was very pleasant. The food however was very disappointing. I ordered a Reuben and fries. The sandwich was so bland that I couldnt taste the saurkraut or dressing. I love me some Malt Vinegar, but it seems they watered it down (or it was so oldby at least 50%.My husband ordered the Shepards pie, which promised some vegetables. He mainly got ground beef, potatoes, cheese, and a bucket load of salt. He threw up 15 minutes after we walked out of the restaurant.Sad, they used to have really good food!
Had the Dub club and fried mushrooms and a jack-and coke dessert... Delicious 👍
Always good for a couple cold pints, delicious food & entertaining conversation
Fantastic food and the staff is super friendly and on top of it!Leave the wife at home, its you and Guiness bonding time here.Support Irish, go here 🍀🇮🇪
My favorite almost dive bar, great hangout spot, local and not presumptuous. Great food options and excellent spirit selection. Loads of bar space and game options
More authentic pub. Food was great, took a little longer to get to table than expected. It was delicious.
Great Irish pub, pool table and plenty of TVS. Bangers and Mash on the Menu
We went for a late dinner and a drink. My gf had the Reuben sandwich and I got a plate of fish and chips. The sandwich was good and real big, the fish was a generous portion, though I didnt care for the coleslaw since it was a little dry.The ambiance was a calm, had music playing but not intrusive. They had ESPN on the main big screens and the Angels were hosting the Bluejays on the other. It was unusually calm for a Saturday night, but thats because of the holiday weekend, I think.Theres only one pool table, and three dartboards. Cool things that you dont see everywhere are the foosball table and shuffleboard tableDefinitely a place to go!
Always a good spot for great drinks and perfect pub food!
This place has been a favorite for a long time. The inside has had many renovations for the better but the same feel-good vibe has never changed. I highly recommend it for an easy-going night out of the house.
Food Was Great!, Its Been Long Time since Ive been there It Never Changes!.Thanks again!..
This used to be the one of two bars 🍸 that I have been going to since I was 15 and I went last Saturday night and had a blast!!
Im assuming they are short staffed, took well over an hour to get our food and its was not terrible. Was Friday night. Staff was very nice and worked very hard, just think they were overwhelmed
I went here tonight 04/01/2022. We arrived at 6:30 pm. Waited to be seated then finally seated ourselves at an empty dirty table. I cleared the table myself after waiting 10 minutes for someone to arrive. No server came to see if we wanted drinks so I went to the bar and got drinks myself. A waitress stopped to bring a menu then never returned to take our order. I flagged down the bartender and placed my food order with him. We waited 2 hours and never received food. Finally we got fed up and went to a different restaurant. I do not recommend going here!!!
First time going was an ok experience. Second time was not ok. Great to go Irish, but it was like going through the potato famine all over again. Waited 40 minutes for nachos. Staff checked on us more than 20 minutes after food was finished to tell us it will be at least 30 minute wait for more all you can eat fish and chips. Is this a tactic by the restaurant to not have to serve all-you-can-eat fish and chips? The waitress clearly took a very long break and our food was waiting, as it had that extended under heat lamp effect. Sorta warm, but dry. Waitress appears out of nowhere to clear a table, but doesnt care about the people that are already there waiting. If I knew the fish and chips would take 50 additional minutes after the other food arrived at the table I would have ordered more from bartender since waitress was MIA. So overall disappointing.
Good food with hot fries, not cold ones. Fridays fish and chip day is very popular but be very early.
Really disappointed. Tried for the first time last night. Not only did they forget an item in our order the phone was busy each time we tried to call to correct the problem. We had to drive back to get a refund. The food portions were extremely small for the price. The paper was stuck to the bottom of my big cookie. The Shepard pie was unlike any Ive ever had and not in a good way. The meat was the consistency of the mash potatoes and there might have been carrot shavings. It was bland all together. Maybe the experience is better in person but Im over it.
Best place for St. Patricks day shenanigans! Very busy but a great atmosphere! Live music and authentic Irish fare!
My server was a little over worked, and I get it. I feel like it took away from her customer service part of the job. Food was like I dont care food. I had the potato skins. But because its looking so long to get me something else that the main course I wasnt hungry anymore I ordered a beer and she also bought a shot of Jameson lucky for her to I like Jameson pool table cool area there were people there so Im sure the food is pretty good I would like to try the shepherds pie but they were all out. I definitely would like to give this place another shot honestly the pool table plus because I like to shoot and grab some pub food but shepherds pie being from Boston but sure would like to try here in Arizona. So Im in the middle on this one and I get the times its hard to find good people to work customer service for any job you work for and when youre waiting on people I get it thats why I left her a $12 tip on a $24 check. Lets not forget were all Americans were all here we all work so lets not forget the poor leaving the impression on someone you never seen before. I may stop by for St Pattys Day see the wild side.
Grabbed a few beers, they have live music some nights apparently so when I went there was entertainment, beers and I ordered a beef stew to go, which for 5 bucks was disappointing.they put it in a drinking cup it wasnt very much and it was poorly wrapped to go. Anyways, wasnt much meat in there either. Server was okay
A must. Played pool. Ate great food. Plenty to drink. Great atmosphere and service was spectacular. A great place to hangout with friends. Thank you will be back.
One of Phoenix best Irish pubs in the valley. Bartenders are outstanding and have been there a long time. Theyll treat you like family and they take the right amount of time to pour a proper pint if Guinness.
Best pub in town. Great music good food and a good pour of Guinness.
Always great, friendly service. The food is delicious! I had the Guinness chicken and it was amazing! The gravy was so good. Will definitely be back for that!
We love this place but had a bad experience tonight. My wife and I were out shopping for a new washer and dryer and stopped in. Ordered the fish fry on Friday night. We were ordering pitchers also and after on refill of fish the server told us that the kitchen was out of fish. She brought us the tab without us asking. We ordered our 3rd pitcher after and added it on to our receipt. My wife went to the bathroom and saw other servers bringing out fish to other tables. I also saw this and this is why I am writing this review. I feel this was shady and after convincing my wife to stop here after shopping , I have lost respect for this establishment. It would be different if we were sitting for hours eating fish and drinking water but were here to unwind after a day of shopping.
Ive eaten at Dubliners for years and the food has always been very good. My last 2 times were very disappointing. Last night, theyran out of fish for their All You Can Eat fish fry. I ordered sliders and onion rings to go . The prime rib slider had two very small dried out pieces of meat not even covering the bun.. So tough my mom couldnt chew it. Bad. Got 1/2 the onion rings we have always gotten and they were very greasy (they have always been very good in the past). The time before when we went for fish, had to wait forever for second order of fish as waitress forgot to order it. I ordered Shepards pie to go, had to wait 45 minutes for it after we had finished eating, I opened it to check it out and a fly flew out of the box, disgusting.
The waitress clearly was miserable being there. We asked if she was ok or needed help. She said no. She brought our drink order and never came back . We had to go find her.... She took or lunch order. She then came back 20 minutes later to let us know they were out of ham. Again it took forever of our food to come. We definitely wont be going there again
Its been about 6 months since Ive been there but now I know why. their service has not improved. actually it shows their processes on how to wait on people is that they have no process I saw three other tables get up and leave while I was waiting for over 30 minutes just to get asked what I wanted for dinner. It wasnt busy at all yet they had four waiters standing around talking about?...well I really didnt listen
Went on a Saturday night! Pretty packed with what looked like regulars. There was live music. The vibes were good- plenty of tvs and drink options. The girls at the bar were on top of getting us drinks. They were beyond catering and even let us put in for food past the last food call. The Irish nachos were a great appetizer. There was pool tables and dart games. Overall seems like a good joint to kick back and throw back a few drinks.
Was looking for an all you can eat fish fry today. Found a good one here. For $12,99, it was very good. The fsh I believe was cod and was flaky and tender. Service was a little slow but gave us a chance to talk and watch the sports events. Since in an Irish pub, I ordered my friend a black and tan and it looked wonderful. All in al,l its a good find for an all you can eat fish fry. Thanks for the good food tonight!
This review is for the Friday All you can eat Fish Fry.The fish is pretty good. The batter was crunchy but lacked salt. The french fries were pretty bad as they were likely cooked in the same oil as the fish and were fishy. No salt on the fries either. The coleslaw was not edible as far as Im concerned, mostly just mayonnaise. You want good Fish, Fries and Slaw then go to "The Other Q Bar and Grill", they are still the best we have had in phoenix.
Fridays are the best (all you can eat fish). Reasonable prices and delicious food and beverage! Tonight I had Shepherds Pie!
There are only 3 reasons I still frequent the Dub, Lexis paint night, Heather and shepherds pie. Lexi is the absolute best and makes me feel like I have talent and Heather can make any bad day better, and shepherds pie is life!
I was optimistic about this place due to the area it was in but Im glad my friend recommended this place. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly despite what looked like being the only server there besides the bartender. The environment is very relaxed and welcoming for those who want to seat and chat over delicious pub food.
Nice pub, decent prices and good food. Listened to the band for a while - they need a sound guy, otherwise, technically, they are good. Maybe a bit fast on their versions of songs. I guess that is just a matter of taste or level of authenticity. Definitely would listen to them again!
Great local sports bar. Drinks specials are decent. $12 buckets of domestics on Sunday. Servers are nice. Lots of TVs. Beef stew was hardy and delicious. Pool table, darts, Foosball and miniature shuffleboard. Detroit Lions fans hangout amongst others.
My first time there and it was quite enjoyable. Watched the Paddy Shaggers Irish Band play and they were amazing!!! Whiskey in hand of course as we sing our "Irish drinking songs"
Had a great time! The atmosphere is great, the live music was AWESOME! Will be going again soon!
I loved this place. I met my old buddy here for a happy hour hangout and we played darts in the back where its less busy. The place has beautiful woodwork and a large wraparound bar, with brown and green colors throughout the bar. Nice ambience. The servers were nice to us and attentive. I have no idea how the bar is at night or on weekends, but we had a great time during happy hour on a weekday and I would return with friends.
Good selection of drinks, laid back, friendly staff... over all 5 stars oh and theyre open till 2am
