The Dragon - Cantonese restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan
Peking duck is pretty regular but the dim sum is amazing. Service is good but can be improved.
Most of the dishes were very impressive. However, the staffs kept on interrupting us while dining and serving us impolitely. The service performance was very impressive too, in another way...
delicious ! great restaurant !
Really good peiking duck with excellent dim sum. The food alone would be 5 star without a doubt.Scored the place at four stars because the service could be improved. For a hotel restaurant, you would hope to be receiving impeccable service. However, the tea and water came very slow and it took forever to find a wait staff to take our order.
Delicious
Delicious food
Recommended in the Michelin Guide, 辰園 The Dragon (B1focuses on family-friendly upscale dining, with both open and private seating of 2 to 10 per table. Definitely on the rich side, their Cantonese fare is fresh and flavorful. Staples such as shumai and white radish cakes are excellent.Compared to The Grand Sheratons other restaurants, this offering might be considered mid-range: customers should expect to spend NT$1000+ per head, to get a comfortable and fulfilling experience.
Very delicious
Located B1 of the Sheraton hotel. I like coming here for the dim sum. Service pretty good too. Make sure to reserve ahead of time.2020 Michelin rated.
It was an amazing dinner. You must try their roasted duck and the crispy barbecued pork.
Excellent dim-sum, wonderful dishes and fantastic dining experience!
One of my favorite restaurants in Taipei. Food is delicious and the staffs are friendly.
Famous for duck cuisines, but others were so so. Nice services. Clean rooms. Kids friendly
Food is good, but service has too few people
Very limited choices of dim sum items for lunch.
Nice comfortable decor, on B1 level, no windows. Mostly large tables, reservation is recommended, certain dishes also need to pre order, such as the golden goose, 4 ways, which is a very popular item. The goose dishes were all delicious, tasty, flavorful. The pancakes were perfect, the meat salad was our favorite item, refreshing and love the sauce. The dim sum items were reasonably good, could use some improvements. The pork belly though was just average. Service was ok, could use more staff. Overall, the goose alone already earns them the 5 stars.
Below average Cantonese food. There are so many better options in town that cost far less. The chicken siu mai tastes like what Cathay Pacific serves in their lounges. The har gow had no flavour at all. The rest of the dishes we had were equally unimpressive. Do yourself a favour and go to the San Want hotel instead, itll be 10x as tasty and half the price.
Quite disappointed to be honest as this place has so many good reviews. Peking duck skin is too fatty. Duck meat has no flavour. The famous crispy charsui is way toooooo sweet and not crispy at all. Feels like over sous vide. Dim sum is average because you can get way better ones in San won hotel with cheaper price. Overall not really worth it to try this place. If you fancy similar food then Shang Palace of Shangri-la hotel is a much better option. Also parking facility is so bad of Sheraton hotel.
The price is not match the taste. The only dish I like is the raddish cake which looks like cocoon. Others are just ordinary.
We were lucky to book a table for 3 having a wonderful lunch time in this restaurant. They launched a special buffet in event for 2 months after a long quarantine period in this Pandemic.Event though it’s a lunch buffet, but they didn’t compromise the quality! Some of the highly recommended dishes must try!
First time meet here. It has great place for friends family or dating.
This restaurant is really good in Taipei!
delicious
Michelin starred restaurant, great service, great food, ample underground parking, located on B2 of Sheraton hotel.
Good
One of the best Cantonese restaurant in Taipei...
Very good food and service. Tablecloths would be a nice elegant touch though.
Good food, decent service
Best duck 🦆in town.
Food/services in a banquet room is much better than in their public dinning locale, although supossedly their food is from the same kitchen!?!
I like their atmosphere and decorations, good service as well. Highly recommended roast duck!
Excellent Taiwanese and Chinese delicacies, especially the Peking duck. Great file an after will team meal or a big family gathering.
The food was really good and delicate, but the service was very disappointed as a restaurant in a five-starred hotel.
Fantastic food!
This is a high end Cantonese restaurant at Sheraton Taipei. One must try its iconic dish Roasted goose, served four different ways, Hong king style crispy goose, crispy goose leg with hoisin sauce, stir fried diced goose with Romaine lettuce, and goose soup. The chef will come to your table to slice the goose in front of you as a show to delight your dining experience. In addition, diners also have a selection of classic dim sum and signature Cantonese dishes, such as crispy pork, roasted chicken. Waiters and waitresses here are all very friendly and helpful as what one can imagine when dining in a five star hotel restraint. Though it could be expensive to have dinner here, it is still worth the money you pay.
Located in the basement of the Sheraton, The Dragon is an upscale restaurant where I had dim sum at upscale prices. My party of 2 spent just about $60 USD for a lunch consisting of 7 orders of dim sum. While quite good, I dont think it was worth the price when you can get delicious dim sum elsewhere at much lower prices in Taipei.
Authentic Peking roasted duck and porks. Food are delicious and well crafted. Service is good. Definitely a place worth checking.
Food tasty but lunch time understaffed
Authentic and delightful Cantonese style dim sum. Loved it! Fresh and tasty too!
Delicious, but relatively pricy. You get what you pay for
Good clean environment. Good food but small portion. Pricy.Excellent service.Overall, good experience.
Expensive but good. One of the best Dim Sum in town.
Good for gathering, meeting, team luncheon, year end party, wedding and so on. The roasted duck was recommend!
Dim sum is delicious
Good!
Best dim-sum in town
Food is great.
Decent place to get dim sum.
Hong Kong style Dim sum, very nice; good for group.
The crispy duck is really good. The dishes we ordered are good too. The service is friendly and kind. We had a great dinner over here.
