Horrible experience. Firstly, their times are advertised as 9am to 3pm on a Sunday. We walk in at 9:50 to find someone with a cigarette in the mouth, who bluntly informs us that they only open at 10am. No invitation to sit and have a coffee or anything. Bad attitude,poor customer welcome. Decor is extremely dated. Felt like a cheap 1980s motel restaurant. They wont see me or anyone I can influence, ever again.

Good service, thats what the 2 stars are for. Really not any atmosphere, and I made the mistake of ordering grilled calamari; hand on heart the worst Ive had in my life. I never imagined it could be prepared so completely without taste and bleak, might as well have chewed on some pieces of gelatine. Clearly its not seen a grill, and the gelled lemon butter sauce on top was just disgusting. The pepper I added unfortunately couldnt revive anything. Most definitely not recommended.

Food was fantastic ! We received food & drinks without error, fast. We had a great time in the restaurant, the setting is comfortable. I would go there very soon again !

I had an experience tonight that I never want again. We ordered starters which were delicious and then the main course arrived. My chicken wings were deepfried to a point where the were rock hard and dry. I requested the waiter to return them. He came back to the table saying the manager asked if I wanted anything else. My response was that I would like them to replace my meal. After 40 minutes I requested the waiter to put the food in a take away as my spouce had finished her meal. I paid and and said to the manager/owner that the meal and service was disappointing. His response was" put it on facebook". On arrival at the car I opened the take away to find that the food I sent back was put into the container.I returned inside and questioned why the "old" food was placed in the container. The response was that this was the instruction of the managers son. This person then apologised which I believe was far too late. I am the customer and he is the service provider. I was also informed by the father not to return as he does not need me.Well, Alex,If you do not need my contribution and the previous weeks R14 000 I supported you with, you might find that your customers will go somewhere where they get service, friendliness and proffesional management when it comes to restaurants.

Most dissapointing. Food overcooked and hard deep fried, black chicken wings and 4 chips. Requested a new portion. Waited 40min for it once received it was the same food packed in a take away. Young manager instructed the waiter to pack the overcooked food. The Salmon was also deep fried. Who does that. Pumpkin was nice. Young man you learned the wrong way from your dad and his manners. Shame waiter was instructed and his service was good.

22/05/2021 - SaturdayMy husband and I went for dinner at the Deck - I had the same starter as the previous time we were there "Avo ritz" because it was wonderful the first time - but this time it was awfull - the top had a few prawns and the rest was just lettuce- and the main course we took the sole platter - o my word - it was cold and the sole was so overcooked that we could not get the meat from the fishbone and was uneatable - well that said - but the first time we ate there in April the food was wonderful - but wow this time it was very bad

At last!Found the best T-Bone steak in Rustenburg. Cozy atmosphere, food extremely well prepared. Eager waiter.Well done The Deck Restaurant. My first visit and definitely not my last. Need to bring friends and family... absolutely a restaurant earning a place on bucket lists worldwide!

Very good food and lovely people

Food is excellent and the portions are very generous. Very relaxed atmosphere. They can improve on 2 things: 1Upgrade the childrens playground. 2Make the outside eating area non smokers.

Very local hangout kind of vibe here. They have a pub and restaurant section and seem to be sorting out accommodation as well. We had lunch and dinner here. The burgers for lunch were lovely but the ribeye steak I had for dinner was absolutely top 5 ever. Must order medium rare tho. My wifes chicken schnitzel was also very good. Value for money most definitely. Service was very good and they also have a cat. Heres a picture of my milkshake because I can.

On the website it says they close at 10pm on a Sunday we went for supper and they said they close at 4. When phoning to enquire they said they close at 4 and the website is wrong and I need to double check. VERY DISSAPOINTED SO I TOOK MY MONEY ELSE WHERE AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Great food with excellent service! All there food is delicious, whether its beef, lamb, pork, chicken, salads or sea food. They are the best in the business. I would recommend their Beef Trinchado as a starter. If you are looking for a main then try their famous eisbein or even their baby Kingklip. Their desserts are amazing. Even if it is just a milkshake. Its the best milkshakes in town! The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Do yourselfs a favour and go visit the Deck Restaurant. You will not regret it!

A lovely restaurant with great food and excellent service. There was a waiter every time you needed one, they were on the ball. Their prawns were to die for and there stuffed pork fillet was exquisite. The vibe was awesome but would of preferred some better music and their cocktails arent as good as I thought theyd be so unfortunately thats what makes this great pace lose one star, but overall, definitely a place to try out.

Really decent place. Food looks great. Cocktails werent the bomb dot com though. Kinda has the feel of a locals hangout. Nice outdoors smoking section and has kids play area and separate bar. Pretty much standard place to grab a bite.

First time Ive been here. Great food and service. The best Dom Pedros in Rustenburg! We are definitely coming back again!
