Pleasantly surprised with this place, the burgers were super tasty, and extra points for having a range of kids games to hand! Would recommend over Cobb and Co

Great place to catch up with friends and family, with delicious food and friendly staff. Not to mention the Million Dollar views.

Second time being here thought I would give it another go for food and drinks another expensive let down food is so over priced for what you actually get $8 now I of fries with about 20 little chips and a little gravy with it. Pizzas expensive and barely no filling just alot of sauce on top. Sorry but we did try.

Finally found somewhere with a view above the construction fences! The decor is tired but for an afternoon drink it was just perfect looking out over the lake with a cold drink in the afternoon.

Great place to spend with friends, drinks are very reasonably priced and food is good.

Staff and clientele always welcoming. Great place to meet friends....next level will be Beer Nuts available. The simple pleasures are the best.

This is probably my favourite bar in Taupo for the friendly staff, fantastic view and outdoor upstarts area with a pool table. The food is marvellous, gravey is as good as grandmothers recipe!

No mask on the guy behind the bar, and customers arriving and wandering around unmasked. Maybe its the place to go in Taupō if you want COVID. Left as quickly as possible.

This was a great surprise we just saw the blackboard that said pizza and thats what were looking for so we headed upstairs to a great spot were we could see the lake. Pizza was fabulous and to get an IPA by the jug was great. A contactless ordering experience took a moment to get our heads around but we got there!!

Doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating. Women on duty did NOTHING to indicate she appreciated our business, she just SAT on her backside behind the bar, obviously expecting us to be OK with that !!! Extremely dissatisfied with this cafe and would NOT recommend. I am very surprised they are still in business to be honest 😒 Like the old saying goes..... you cant complain about the service because there wasnt any

disappointed to not have any vaccine passes checked, drinks were cheap. also disappointed to see the bartender use the glass to scoop ice which is a massive safety hazard (potential broken glass in icebut hoping it was a one off

Very basic and very good. Nothing fancy. Popular amongst locals. Nice burgers and pizzas. You order online, so there is no fuss about ordering and waiting and payment. 2022: pint $9, cocktails 3-5pm $10

Highly recommend going during happy hour. $10 cocktails from 3-5pm is legendary! Pina Colada is to die for, highly recommend it! 🤙🏼

Such a nice pizza. Good prices and good range of beers. But Friday night bar was closed before 10pm. So sad for us. And they have lot of people even in Level 2. But recommended if you go in early

Absolutely amazing meal, was a mix up with our order and they called me immediately to tell me what was happening. Will absolutely be coming back. Everything we ordered was top notch, oh my goodness so full!!!

Awesome food, friendly staff and magic views of Lake Taupo. Been back several times since my first visit.

Wines are good, loaded fries yummy, fried chicken terrible. What can I say. I would go back but will never order the fried chicken again.

Over all untidy, we asked if we could have our table cleaned, we were given a cloth to do so ourselves. Food was okay probably a little to plain and simple. However the staff were friendly.

Man, the view would be worth it alone, but the loaded curly fries got a 10/10 from me and my boy, and the burgers were great. Plenty of beer on tap too.

If your looking for a family friendly meal I wouldnt recommend it. Nice food but bar staff are happy to accommodate underageers and nose beers if you know what I mean.

I come here about once a month for drinks with friends. It can be fairly busy so arrive early to guarantee a table. The staff are friendly and the food is good, though it can be a bit slow to arrive at the table during peak times.

“The Deck” is the more causal upstairs establishment connected to the restaurant downstairs. The food was very good. The beer was cold. The bartender/waitress was fun. I’d go back!

The burgers we had were tasty , yummy fries and good customer service. There is however a smoking area outside so best to eat inside.

Good pizzas, thin and crispy nice plum cider, jalapeño poppers and loaded fries. Reasonable prices.

The deck and waterside is the place to be when its cold and wet outside. Great food, and the waterside Restaurant desserts are a must. Sticky Date Puddings are light and tasty and gluten free.

Reasonable bar, nice views and good prices.Disgusting service, bartender made the wrong drink and refused to admit her mistake. Instead she decided she would rather argue with us than rectify the situation.Terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone in a large group.

People come here for the view, though the windows of this place need a thorough clean to be able to offer any view whatsoever. Lots of dust, dirt and poor maintenance. Food was truly a let down. Skip this place.

Awesome place to have a bite to eat, chill out, have a beer and enjoy the views.

It took 40 mins for food to arrive even when the place wasnt so busy. My food arrived with a live moth. When I brought it to staffs notice, they picked the moth with their fingers and said, "its just a moth" and refused to take the food back. Annoyed I went to another staff and asked them to get me a fresh one. No apologies, until 40 mins later when I went to inquire about the order again only to find out that they didnt make a fresh one because the other staff member told that I had said no to having my dish made again. Definitely not going to the place again. 1 star only for the lady staff that gave me a discount on the drinks for providing such a ridiculous service. I I had an option, Id rate them -10(negative)

Absolutely stunning food at very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered off the menu was amazing. Highly recommended the half pork shank with wraps, slaw, Apple kawakawa sauce. Definitely returning.

Its a place on the rooftop of waterside, hard to find entrance as its a stairway in another restaurant. Good beer options and fingerfood is delicious, beautiful presentation and place. Nice Lakeview and sitting area, pool tables and other board games available.Kinda hidden gem for social drinks and get together, best view of lake.
