Very friendly and patient staff. I ordered to-go, the fajita mix (beef, chicken, & shrimpcame with rice, beans, peppers, & corn tortilla. Overall everything was good and it was fresh. The excellent customer service will definitely bring me back.

This food is superb! The location is a little strange but worth go.

The food is FANTASTIC! I had the tacos de carne asada and they were delicious! The restaurant is clean and spacious. I thoroughly recommend this spot to the lunchtime crowd!

We ordered catering for our office last minute. They were extremely friendly, accommodating and professional. None of us had ever heard of the restaurant and selected based upon the high reviews. We were not disappointed. Everyone loved the food and thought it was delicious. Spicy sauces, creamy tasty sauces, outstanding guacamole and delicious fresh salsa. We had 3 party trays of tacos including chicken, carne and shrimp. Nothing was left. Thank you for kind service and great food. We will order again.

I must say that I am a picky eater when it comes to authentic Mexican food after living in San Antonio, Texas 5 years. My palate just would not accept anything less. Found this place a gave it a shot. I ordered the chicharrones platter with tamarind drink. I was amazed how the food was fresh, tasty, and appealing. Presentation to me is everything next to taste. The portions were big, so I had to take a doggy bag. The chicharrones (fried porkwere on point, tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning, the tortillas were freshly made, so was the rice and beans, and salad. I can tell when it is fresh as I will not accept anything less. I definitely will be coming back.

Most authentic and delicious Mexican food in this entire area. Fresh homemade corn tortillas and tender beef. 🥩 I’m sure I’ll be trying EVERYTHING on this menu. (Chefs kiss🤩🏆

Down stairs to a basement, with simple tables and a no fuss decor. Do not let it make you rethink the choice, outstanding food.

I ordered the Carne Asada tacos and fresh strawberry lemonade juice, it was SO delicious! The staff were very polite as well. The dine area was clean and plenty space to sit. Definitely a place I will come back and eat again!

I tried this place earlier today for the first time and am glad i did. The chicharrones platter (fried porkwas delicious and a generous portion. I even liked the cabbage salad.I had heard the closed, but think they just reduced the number of days open.

I have no idea how this place got such a high rating. Half the items on the menu were unavailable. The shrimp quesadilla was oily as heck, with cheese pouring out and a couple of pieces of shrimp and just orange peppers. That’s it nothing else! It didn’t even have all the ingredients listed on the menu!!!The shrimp tasted decent was the only saving grace. Ending up throwing the rest away.

I love this spot for some authentic flavors. If you’re ordering for lunch, definitely recommend giving yourself some time.. they get very very busy. The carne asada tacos are so fresh.

Excellent food, quesabirria was so satisfying and delicious on a cold day. The atmosphere Is a little cold and appears to be in the shell of an earlier business, but don’t let that turn you away from the food.

A hidden gem! Lots of Tex-Mex dishes and very generous portions. My fav is the shrimp quesadilla. Too much for one meal. Muy bueno!

Absolutely delicious carne asada tacos

I discovered this gem of restaurant when I had jury duty. If you blink, you may miss it considering that its an underground restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious and plentiful! The dining area was impeccable as well as the service that I received. Good thing thats not near my workplace because I could see this becoming a daily special with me. I may make this a payday special using one of the many food delivery services.

This place has amazing salads, but at some point during the 2020 lockdown, this place converted abruptly from a salad place to a Mexican restaurant.

Awesome authentic Mexican food, tastes just like homemade. We had 2 entree plates and fresh juices yesterday. Meat was cooked just perfect by the chef with the best softest beans and rice. The mango juice and hot chocolate was so fresh. Serving size was very generous. Service was excellent too. We reached there just a few minutes before closing but they took our order for 2 people very graciously. I would go there again. I highly recommend it. !!

We came here expecting different types of bowls and such as mentioned in recent reviews. The restaurant has recently changed; it is now The Daily Special Authentic Mexican Food. The food was pretty good. I was impressed with the flavor of their carne asada. The rice was okay, not very flavorful.

I really enjoyed visiting this clean, friendly, fresh lunch spot. I had jury duty today and they offered a discount, plus it was just a quick walk and wasnt nearly as crowded as I feared it would be. I wanted something on the healthy side and my Korean salmon bowl felt nourishing and filling.

Just had an amazing lunch at The Daily Special - a salad bar in downtown Baltimore. It’s by far one of the best tasting salads I’ve ever had. I ordered a Korean Glazed Salmon Bowl while my buddy had a build-it-yourself chicken bowl. Both bowls were filled with fresh mouth-watering ingredients and salmon was grilled to perfection while the chicken was spiced excellently. Even if you aren’t a salad person, I would recommend going just for their fires and dips, specifically their garlic aïoli, yum! Definitely recommended for those who are looking for an easy, tasteful and filling lunch.

Such great fresh food that is presented beautifully. So many healthy wholesome choices and plant-based choices in particular. Love this restaurant! The owner is such a doll, very caring, passionate, and meticulous about all the details. The highlight of jury duty for me is getting to go across the street for lunch here! Wish they were open on sundays or legal holidays so those of us who dont live or work right nearby could still visit for lunch more often. 10 out of 10!

This restaurant is the best lunch experience. Clean, fresh, healthy AND so flavorful. I love the menu’s originality. The chef really knows how to mix it up. The spiced salmon is amazing! The bowls are always so filling and satisfying. The fresh pitchers of water with fruit slices and soup station give it a fun vibe.

Fresh, delicious, lovingly designed bowls (I like the salmon ones, both the Korean with brown rice, cabbage salad, etc., and the one with curried cauliflower, pickled beets, hard boiled egg, spinach, pumpkin seeds, etc., but there are also chicken and vegan options, as well as burgers); prompt, friendly service; clean, cheerful premises. Yum, thank you!

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this gorgeous place. Well we had a tremendous evening and the venue was surely the reason for this fruitful celebration. The stuff helped in a sweet manner, the food was very good and my guests were so cheerful. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

My wife and I came here today and were both amazed. The food was excellent! Bursting with flavor. Nice portions. Great price. Everything was nice and fresh. Super friendly and helpful staff. This was the best meal!!!!!!! The hamburger was done perfectly and truly the best I have ever had! The salads were amazing and there was a lot of selection. The service with great the atmosphere is nice. Very clean. I’d like the free water with orange slices too!

Best lunch Ive had in a long time. Whenever I find a place this good Im reluctant to tell people about it because I want it all to myself. However, the next time youre trying to figure out what to get for lunch when youre downtown, just go here. You wont be disappointed. Food/Service/Atmosphere are all amazing. Healthy. Quick. Delicious. Kosher. Get adventurous with your own flavor combos, or enjoy one of their signature creations. The chicken and fish are both cooked well, never dried out, the greens are fresh, the toppings/fillings flavorful. Friendly staff, clean dining area, plus a cosy lounge-like nook. I have always enjoyed my lunches here and never had a sub-par experience.

I was in Baltimore for a week, and i ate at TheDailySpecial everyday!!!! It is truly one of the best restaurants i have ever been to, if not the best!! it is a Healthy and fun environment with spectacular customer service! The owners son Moy, is a educated, charismatic, employee! He always has a smile on his face and is great at having conversations with! You can tell he takes after his father the owner! I truly recommend this restaurant to Anybody And Everybody! And i look forward to going back very soon!

First time trying this place out. Solomon is the man! I was leaning on the safe side considering the kale caesar salad but Solomon swayed me back to the Korean glazed salad bowl, which was the best move I could have made. The flavors are incredible. I highly recommend checking this place out and I will definitely be back.

While staying at the Embassy Suites for a conference this week, I had lunch here both days. Wonderful fresh and healthy choices, dine in or take out, fabulous dressings for salads, and very friendly staff. Good food doesn’t get better than this! I’m an Indiana fan!

Yesterday we had lunch at The Daily Special. It is a great Baltimore lunchtime secret. The Daily Special, which is a nice and quiet floor below street level, offers healthy dishes that are very tasty. You can also design your own dishes to your taste. Reasonably priced as well.-- Barry L.

A nice place with a healthy and tasty menu. The servers were super eager to provide top rate service. Since the meal offerings were so good, I had to balance lunch off with a delicious cupcake to even the scales. ;- I look forward to trying other items when I return to downtown Baltimore.

Wow! We really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife and I came here for a romantic lunch. Parking was nearby and the food was super fresh and delicious. The toppings are very and looked very healthy. They were certainly delicious. The staff was helpful and the premises for very clean.

Great atmosphere, even better food! The Zhatar Aioliis is the best sauce I ever tasted! I also love the fact that all the dressings and sauces are vegan and gluten free. If you are in downtown in Baltimore this spot is a must try!
