MoreCant fault the food but they took payment for delivery on their website and then rang me later to say they dont do delivery anymore. Then why take payment for delivery on your website still? Absolutely ridiculous. Took several days to get a refund. Never again.
MoreVery tasty food. Excellent service.
Beautiful restaurant.Unpleasant service, very unprofessional waiter. Couldn’t be bothered to come to the table to take our order and instead took it over a railing. Ordered a madras, a basic curry… the chicken was too chunky, very over cooked and really dry. Ordered the pilau rice which wasn’t fresh covered in turmeric so it tasted bitter and a very dark yellow colour. No seasoning in either dish. If you like Indian food and have experience of good quality fresh Indian food, stay away. Forgot to mention the dips with the popodoms; I could taste a metallic taste of the sweet one and I couldn’t say for sure if it was mango or not… Chef check the date on this product.A little gem compared to this place is a place called Mixed Spice 3 in 1. It only does takeaway and it leaves a lot to be desired in appearance but every time I’ve eaten there it s been consistent and fresh. Don’t waste your money on the Curry House
MoreChicken is like rubber. Not recommended. Mushroom rice is nice
Very good food, tasteful ambiance and nice staff.
Great friendly service by Daisy and good value
Really lovely meal. We got a takeaway. Ordered online and picked a time to collect. One of the nicest Indian meals we have had. Prawns and Biryani were delicious. Very friendly staff when we arrived to collect it. 10/10
MoreReally nice food. Staff were very accommodating. Will definitely go back again
Absolutely stunning, the food is to die for and the service is awesome.
As always the food was absolutely delicious ❤️
Food always of a high standard. Tika masala is delicious.
Just eating a lamb dish and can only say that it is one of the best I have ever had. Superb quality and service. I wont add photos because my plate is empty 😁
MoreGreat food and super service , one of the best Indian restaurants there is.
Great place to have Indian food in limerick.
Great Indian restaurant.. priced but worthy.. better than any other so called Indian restaurants in Limerick
MoreAlways a pleasure. Fantastic food
After eating at so many different places in Ireland, can easily say the best biriyani i had in Ireland was here at “The Curry House”. Just ask the chef to make it spicy Indian style.
MoreVery nice place and tasty food.
Generous portions and very good service and price.
Superb gluten free options available and the food is amazing 👏 they are the best Indian in Limerick. The staff are super friendly and know what dish is right for you should you not know what to choose. Affordable, family options
MoreGood food, nice ambience, very busy on weekends, so book in advance.
Very nice place for Indian food the quality and quantity is absolutely amazing lots of parking available
MoreBest Indian food Ive ever had and very attentive staff . Food was on the table less then 10 mins after order was taken .
MoreFirst Time Went For Dinner with friends. Pathetic Experience. Food Was Ok though, very Late Servings. Two Of Main courses Came when half of Us took Hands Of Food because of Late. Then we Forced To start our Friends Again. In a Panic we Ordered Two more Main Courses so that they should Come within time. But Again dishes Came when We Finished eating. When Asked to Pack Those two. They Brought Boxes N threw on the Table you do yourself. Very Insulting Behaviour. When asked to call the Manager. Grainne named Manager Came n Her behaviour was like O My God. Never Came Across That type of Manager. Dont Know Who is the Owner of this Place Hiring that Unprofessional People. Everybody of us 10 Doctors felt Insulted like never Before. Will never Recommend This Place....
MoreOrder hadnt arrived after 90 minutes waiting. Phoned to enquire and told at least another half an hour before ready, without so much as an apology. Awful!
MoreFood is far from authentic Indian food not very clean either
Best Indian restaurant in Limerick.Goan seafood curry is really good.Food is amazing and the service is second to none
MoreReally disappointing. I read some reviews saying this was the best curry place in Limerick. Cant get my head around that, nor the average rating. The korma was flavourless. The chunks of chicken were bizarrely big, and the Rogan Josh tasted like a more bitter version of the curry sauce you would get on chips at your average chipper. Also took a long time to deliver, considering were not that far from the restaurant.
MoreFantastic food, lovely atmosphere and the staff are efficient and friendly
Absolute shambles of an organisation. Food is often 30+ mins late, staff are ignorant and far from accommodating, customers who are made to wait for food are dismissed as though they are in the wrong. Joke.
MoreJust polished off a family takeaway that was seriously yummy! Real tandoori chicken, beautiful sauces, rice, and naan. Loved the free poppadoms and mango pickle. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Ill be back!"
MoreThe best Indian food in Munster, hands down. Only negative is the take away "taste of India" starter dish isnt a big enough portion for what you pay for.
MoreFantastic staff, great service. Possibly one of the best Indians in Munster by far. I went a couple of times now and have tried different dishes. The curry house is a fantastic place to go if you are staying over night in The South Court Hotel or even if you are just passing by. I would highly recommend The Curry House to anyone new to the area or wanting a takeaway.
MoreI ordered food at 6:20pm for collection at 7:30pm. Got there 5 mins early and waited. It got to 7:30 and I decided to give it 10 mins to see if it would be ready. Food wasnt ready so I asked when it would be. They made up all kinds of excuses saying the chef was delayed or the machine was broken. Said the food would be 10-15 mins. I waited, I had now been there 20 mins from when the food should have been ready. I asked again. Made more excuses saying they dont know if the chef gets delayed so they cant ring to say it will be late. Said the food would be two more minutes at 7:54pm exactly. I decided to wait for the two minutes. It got to 7:56 and I went up to the counter to say I was cancelling and all of a sudden as soon as I threaten to cancel my order and go somewhere else for my food they came out with my food. And as compensation for me standing there for 30MINUTES they gave me two extra cans of diet coke. Absolutely ridiculous and I will not be going again. Disgrace!
MoreJus back from getting food here ordered chicken madras, pilau rice and 2 plain naan breads.Got home looked in bag rice was brown with no flavour didnt even look like rice, madras was so spicy and thick couldnt even eat it after asking over phone could they make medium spicy and was told it only do it 1 way ,the naan bread was rubbery and couldnt chew.Literally took 2 forkfuls and threw it all straight in bin what a waste of nearly 20e .Stay clear of this place you will be disappointed worse indian takeaway iv ever tasted .
MoreNot worth it and would prefer not to order here again although I reside in Limerick.Customer service is really poor.I have ordered takeaway recently, the Naan breads and Roti were too hard to consume and had to trash it. In addition, I was given a wrong curry which is total mismatch of my order. The most disappointing part is we rang them today to let them know abt it so that they can fix it and thats it. We didn’t even ask for any compensation. But response from the staff was very rude. He was stubborn that they never had such complaints before although few google reviews clearly shows them.I will not suggest this restaurant to my friends.
MoreNot worth it, please do not order.I have ordered takeaway recently, the Naan breads and Roti were rubbery, could not eat them and had to eventually trash it. I was given different gravy than the one which I have ordered. I tired to reach them out over a call to convey the feedback but they are not willing to accept it. From google reviews I can see recently they have few negative reviews, but they say I am the only one who have provided such feedback. Poor customer service.Going forward, I will not prefer this restaurant even if they offer me free food.
MoreHad chicken Tikka masala and samosas spring roll, its worth it♥️
Was disappointed first it was a while before anyone answered the phone .it also was going to take 45mins before it was ready my husband drove to pick it up when he got home they for got the to put in the garlic bread. But still charged us for it . quite expensive takeway forty euro to be exact. Food was only average . Wont be ordering again.
MoreDelighted to visit the Curry House tonight after 3 months of only takeaways from them. The takeaways are beautiful too but it is great to have a meal in the restaurant and enjoy the friendly atmosphere with Danny, Masum , Kali and all the wonderful staff. The food is really tasty and cooked to perfection and the service is always excellent. It is easy to see what they win so many awards :). Look forward to seeing you all again soon. Bernadette & William
MoreI was in Limerick on business and staying nearby so I decided on spec to give the Curry House a try. It looked modern and clean and there was a good ambience around the place. I went for a starter of seekh kebab and prawn jalfrezi for main. It took quite a while to be served the starter but I wasnt in a big rush so that was ok. The seekh kebab had an unusual flavour but it was nice and I enjoyed it. The main arrived shortly afterwards. I had pilau rice which just tasted strange and like chemicals. Wierd. The Jalfrezi was just way too sweet and I didnt really like it at all. Maybe the food was more authentic than I would be used to in your standard Indian restaurant but if asked would I eat there again, probably not Im afraid. Its a pity as I found the staff very nice and the decor and atmosphere pleasant. The food just did not live up to the promise Im sorry to say.
MoreI ordered Kadhai Paneer. Expected it to be authentic Indian taste after reading reviews, but very disappointed. It was sweet-ish and not really tasty! Garlic naan didnt taste of garlic. Delivery was fast though.
MoreReally good food with great service. They spices they use are balanced and nothing too hot to be uncomfortable. They serve up the classic Indian dishes really well along with some more "fusion" foods. If you are in Limerick and craving for Indian food, definitely head out there.Try their machli jugalbandhi. Highly recommended.
MoreWe were 6 of us & decided to go out early and avoid the crowds. We arrived at 16.50, the restaurant did not start serving until 17.00. It also serves as a coffeehouse serving Starbucks coffee. We were shown to a table and given the menu to read and we ordered drinks while we waited. The service was excellent and when it arrived the food was delicious anď beautifully presented. The restaurant was filling up as we finished our meal. They also do a very popular takeaway that was extremely busy but this in no way impeded the quality of our experience.I would recommend "The Curry House" as a wonderful place to enjoy an evening enjoying a myriad of tasty dishes.
More5 adults, Thur 18:30.l - 20:10.Enjoyed a variety of Indian cuisine - Madras, tikka masala, jalfrezi, korma, etc. Food was good, decor and ambience was good also. Seating by the wall felt a little low.. Service was excellent but it was quiet. The waiting staff arranged more traditional fare for the 5 children with us. Had a good evening , will go back.
MorePlace is good but the food is just ok, not that great as I expected. Ambience is good if you want to experience it.
MoreIts a really clean place and the food is great theres also star bucks too
Great food. Wonderful ambiance. Authentic taste and awesome mixed drinks with distinctive flavours. Had a lucky chance to drop in here while touring. Courteous staff makes all the difference!
