The Curb in Boise

This burger was out of this world. Such a good flavor. It is so unique. The perfect amount of goat cheese and the fries were great! Service was outstanding. If you havent tried this place you should!!!

My friend and I dined at the curb for our annual Holiday meal. I was especially impressed with their Covid 19 precautions. Our table was highly sanitized, menu accessible using phone (scan bar code). Our server was phenomenal! Checked in frequently! Prices were very affordable. I ordered a salad which was massive! They are shareable! Grilled chicken was excellent! My friend had a burger with sweet potato fries. She cleaned her plate and said it was one of the best burgers she ever had. It was packed on a Monday night clearly a sports fanatic oriented place. Games on all TVs.

Popular place. Good menu/ food.Great service. Usually add some kind of a critique, but cant think of anything to add. Guess thats why its so popular 🤔

We have never had a bad thing to say & I hate to complain about The Curb but service today was the worst we have ever had. Waitresses had time to chat at the end of the bar. One waitress cleaning every table as well. We had to go to the bar to get a coke & the bartender was very rude. We waited 30 minutes for a burger & fries & the bar was empty. We also asked if a game could be put on the TV near our table & we were told it’s on a TV across the room from our table. This use to be one of our favorite places to go. We won’t be back!

The place was packed but we were seated almost immediately.Amazing food and great service. Compliments to Chef Joe Smith. You have to try the starters. The Filthy Tots were awesome. The stuff jalapenos were very tasty but buyer beware - I love the hot stuff - and these puppys were very warm - ate them anyway with a forehead sweat. For some reason the "adult" mac n cheese sounded good so had to try them. The brisket and flavors exploded in our mouths - so good. We wanted to try all the tacos but we will have to make another trip to get them all in. Highly recommend the brisket taco - the fried avocado was delicious.

The Curb is awesome. Obviously run by someone who knows how to run a bar/tavern/restaurant. Service is always great and the food is always terrific. I’m a regular and would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing start to finish. Perfect draft beer, burger, and side. We live over 600 miles away, but we will forever stop in when we are in town.

Had lunch there today. As usual the atmosphere was great, service just fine. I had finger steaks which turned out to be a big mistake. Instead of a pile of smaller, perfectly fried and coated finger steaks there were three HUGE pieces of meat, tough and unable to be cut with the knife provided. Just sad. Ill be back but you can bet Ill never order them again.

I really try not to leave negative reviews, but I wish our experience would have been better.... Maybe it was just a bad night for the staff?? We were super excited to try it because we heard it was great, but we probably wont be back any time soon. Service all-around = 2/slow. Food = 2/slow, lukewarm. Drinks = 3/slow, inaccurate, & they dont tell you that the shot in your red bull refresher is extra $. Overall the place needed to be deep cleaned, especially the bathrooms.

I’ve been to this place several times. Usually a decent experience and great food. This time I wasn’t happy at all. Here’s why… Took about 10 minutes to be served water, drinks took another 10-15 minutes. It was kind of busy, but no different than when I’ve been here before. When the drinks finally came, we ordered our food. My White Russian was not made correctly. It was clumpy and gross. When 3 of us had finished our drinks (about 20 mins later), we called her over to ask for a second drink. I don’t drink anything while eating my food so I wasn’t sure if I should order another drink being that we ordered food like 15-20 minutes ago. She informed me that she barely put in the order so I had about 30-40 minutes of wait time for the food to come so I have time to have another drink. Wow! I told her about the clumps in my drink and ordered a second… it came with just as much clumps. Others were served the wrong beer. Damn near room-temperature drinks, When the food got to the table, order was wrong. Finally, The “Filthy Burger” came out and was pretty tasty, I can’t lie.. A word of advice, do not have anything with the name “Chile verde” in it. It tastes like chili… yes, chili. Not chili as in chili peppers, but like actual chili. Not good and definitely not “Chile verde.” Im Mexican and know what Chile verde tastes like. Believe me, I used to love this place. But if they were serving us like this on purpose to keep us from coming back, they succeeded. I’m embarrassed that I highly recommended that we go to this place. It ruined what was supposed to be a great night out.

Stopped real quick to grab my daughter some lunch to go and I ended up wanting to eat her lunch instead. Lol Services was quick and friendly, atmosphere was nice and clean I’m definitely be going back there to sit and eat and enjoy.

Brisket nachos are amazing, beer is alright. I’ve been going to this place for the last few months. I don’t mind it, but it’s almost impossible to strike a conversation with anyone there. Definitely more of a restaurant than a bar.

Recommend any of the Tacos for sure. You should have current printed menus for people who care not able to scan the qr code for the menu. Doesnt have to be fancy... My cheap phone service and phone doesnt scan them and I would not recommend to older family and friends. Bartender rolled her eyes at me when I asked for printed menu... but after that service was good.

Waited for 15mins at a dirty table. In that time no one bussed the table, brought us water or said hi. My husband found someone and asked if there was anyone working the patio, he was told there was and they would get to it. Waited another 10 mins and no one came. We got up and left. This was our first time here and we were excited to try the food, but I didn’t want to be waiting over an hour for food at the rate the evening was going. I don’t think I’ve ever just got up and left a restaurant before. Pretty unreal lack of service. We ended up writing off the wasted time and gas and just went home and cooked dinner. I’m not sure how so many people have reviews about the food. How did you ever get any?? Lol

If youre looking for catering, run the other direction.We chose The Curb to cater and bartend our wedding. Everything ran smoothly up until a month prior to the wedding. We could not get a hold of the catering manager, and we were very worried we would have to engage another company with weeks to go. All of our last minute details were eventually smoothed over (although it took more than one phone call, voicemail, three to four emails and texts from both me, my now husband and our wedding coordinatorto get ahold of the catering manager. I was close to marching into the restaurant and demanding to know what was going on. After a conference call about 3 weeks prior to the wedding between the four of us, everything seemed fine and ready to go.On the day of the wedding, the food was two hours late with no explanation, apology or offer of a refund of any kind. None of it was served in the manner that had been planned, since they were about two hours late and scrambling to get it set up. Luckily no guests knew the difference, but it certainly messed up the timeline. There was also a discrepancy on the presence of wine at the bar. We had previously agreed that wine would be served, but on the day of there was none.At the end of the night during clean up, it was agreed and confirmed more than once prior that The Curb would transport water glasses but they began to argue with my clean up crew whether or not this was the case. They "found the room" in the catering truck after one of my clean up crew said she would call the catering manager. Unprofessional showing all around. "Worry free catering experience?" Try again. Would not recommend.

Great staff, good food, fair prices!

We were in on 7-20-22 to get our laboring daughter some food to go,the bartender was amazing and our food came out very quickly, fast forward 2 hours we came back in to eat for the first time, we ordered our food from the same bartender, got a call our daughter has been rushed into emergency surgery, the bartender rushed our food out to go so we could be on our way. We will be back for sure the food and service were over the top. We are so grateful to the bartender in the camo dress and keds.

Ill start with the good (which it mostly was).Food tasted awesome! Everything was fresh, hot and just really well done. The fry sauce is more of a garlic fry sauce and it was amazing! Bottle it up and Id buy it!The atmosphere is really cool, and I especially love the chalk art on the walls.The not so good-I think the picture explains it all. Yes, I had taken a small bite of the burger and realized I should take a picture. I was really underwhelmed by the presentation/lack of frys. Fine, if this is the portion, then serve it on a smaller tray or in a basket or something. Just made me feel like I was getting jiped a little. It was a Saturday, but about 2pm, not busy, so not sure what happened.We will try again sometime because it was good tasting for sure

Great location and nice atmosphere with outdoor tables available as well. Staff does a great job but it does get busy fast and wait times might not be ideal for all.

Waitresses were standing around n not doing there job and not paying attention to there customers. Our drinks took way to long to get. We only ordered a Pepsi and a lemonade. It was not even crowded or busy. Took a good 35 minutes with no update on our food. Food was ok but service royally sucked. Sad to say not going there anymore

We chose to dine out on the patio which was really clean and our table and chairs didnt have that "outdoor layer" of yuck. Great food and a relaxing space!

Weve always enjoyed our visits, patio is dog friendly which we look for.They do need to clean the patio a bit better, other than that no complaints.

This was by far one of the best restaurant experiences ive had in my life. Good staff The owner is very nice and the food is amazing, I recommend the dirty burger to anyone that doesnt know what to order, thats my new favorite burger!

Ive been here several times and everytime my burger is either cold or dried out or both. Great staff and fun atmosphere but food is not great. After 5 bad meals Im out. Sorry folks

Love the brisket quesadilla. Solid beer selection. Good variety of sports typically playing on multiple TVs. The only downside is that it gets noisy so if you are older you may have trouble hearing the conversation across the table.

This place is near my home so I frequent. These guys are a level up above your average bar and grill Their food is always great and the service has always been impeccable. They also have live music on the weekends so how can you go wrong.

The food here is much better than youd expect! Good drinks, good food, good atmosphere, good location. And despite being a full house, the service was also great. We will definitely go back more often!

If you dine here I hope you get Bianca as your server. They are short-staffed, just like every other place, but Bianca was able to make us feel like we were her only patrons. Their food was consistently delicious. Definitely recommend.

Busy but great service. First inpression of the place was an artistic style atmosphere. At first I wasnt sure if we wait to be seated or find a spot, my group ended up finding a spot and shortly after our waitress was there to take our drink order. The menu is a QR scan code which is convenient for quick access. I ordered the filthy chicken sandwich with garlic parmesan style fries. The sandwich has either a crispy or grilled option. I selected the crispy and it was amazing. Both the fries and sandwich had a nice crisp, crunch and were very satisfying. Definitely will go back and would recommend.

Grandma saw a bear peeing in the woods today and to top it all off, we found the best bar west of the Mississippi. Had wings, nachos, jalapeño poppers and the southwest salad. I’m going full 5 star and here’s why: 1.Service was amazing, didn’t wait long for food and they were busy. 2.Poppers,nachos and Salad were yummy (some of the best3.Atmosphere- People were having a great time and the place was full. Music was good, tvs a’plenty and the art on the walls was weird. 4.Cleanliness- Bathrooms 🚽 we’re good and the silverware was wrapped in napkin with clean little cookie sheets for plates. 5. Grandma had a blast. Grandma met a former Chicago 🐻 Bear today. She’s been a Bear’s fan since I was a little cub. Amazing night thanks to the Curb Bar and Grill on Meridian Road in Meridian Idaho. My fiance and I went to try and watch a playoff football game Saturday night and realized I picked the wrong place. The TVs were loud and it appeared no one was there to watch the game. It was so loud in this bar that we couldnt even hear the game. We left as soon as we finished our mealEdit after the "Owners" response...It says something to me about the Integrity of the ownership when they argue and are presumptuous. I understand trying to come to the defense but thats not professional. It honestly says that they dont really care what their patrons think as long as they make money. I would have considered coming back here just to have some good food and drinks but after their reply on this review I definitely will not return!Professionalism and integrity are important in any aspect of life!

We have ordered to go from this restaurant before and it was fantastic. So the other night, I went into eat with my husband, son,mother, and her boyfriend. Three of us ordered burgers, which were all burnt and over cooked. The taco salad practically had a whole can of jalapeños inside . And the waitress wasnt very friendly. We did not send our food back, we just wont return. The decor was very cool. And my husband loved his tacos.

Went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. Even though it was 95 out. We sat outside due to the noise level. Seems every place these days is "industrial" in the decor, with zero sound absorption. I wear hearing aids which makes it even worse.Decent selection of beers on tap.For the food, I had the chipotle chicken salad and my squeeze had the southwestern Cobb salad. The salads were good size. Her Cobb salad was better than mine, as it seemed to have more ingredients. It didnt seem like there was enough beans and corn in mine, but the dressing was good.Not much more to say about salads.Service was good.

My wife and I stopped in after we had read how much ‘fun’ this place was. Well I can tell you it was packed on a Wednesday afternoon at 1pm, and we were lucky to get a seat. The vibe is very friendly with people all having a great time, including families with kids. I had 2 tacos (carne Asada & chorizomy wife had the “Filthy” burger. Both were very good, but I think the meat in the burger was some of the best I have had recently. The beer selection is great and there is a bar. The service was very friendly and efficient.

The Curb catered our wedding reception and it was DELICIOUS and our guests loved the food! Thank you so much!

Best pub In a 10 mile radius. Large tap selection, even bigger cocktail choices and legit fish tacos. Come get some.

This place has amazing food!! Some of the best, crispy fries Ive ever had! The burger was good, too. I had a variation of the curb burger (I had them add a friend egg and it was delicious!And my husband got the PB&J burger. That was yummy too!Also, big shout out to Manda. She was so nice and helpful.

Okay Im going to start of by saying my expectations were not too high for the Curb. I kind of expected Applebees/TGIF style food. Its not - I was very wrong! This place rocks and let me tell you why!!!I was craving a hot sandwich and wanted to pick somewhere close to my husbands office so he didnt have to drive too far (Hed go anywhere for me, bless this heart). The Curb is conveniently located right off northbound Meridian Road so I scoured their menu and thought, why not give em a shot. My review is solely based on the food since I ordered takeout and didnt even pick up the order myself.After mentally deliberating for some time I chose the Southwest Turkey Club (roasted turkey, brown sugar bacon, cheddar and pepperjack cheese, roasted jalapeno, lettuce, tomato, onion, and chipotle mayo, $14.00with a side of fries. I was very happy with the takeout service. The call was only 56 seconds long and I wondered if the person even heard my order right. 30 minutes later...My husband walks through the door with my dinner and wooooooah it smelled dope. I almost forgot to thank him I was so stoked. I split the meal with him but honestly I could have eaten it all by myself. It was so freaking delicious! The bacon added so much flavor, and the chipotle mayo was like the icing on the cake. All the ingredients meshed so well together. One of the best hot sandwiches Ive had in Boise. And I eat A LOT of hot sandwiches! Overall, wonderful dish I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to decide! I mean just look at my picture! Yeah Im no photographer but look at all those tasty ingredients and how beautifully they stack together!Overall I had an awesome dinner! GREAT FOOD! Im looking forward to dining in one day! Great service, outrageous atmosphere!! Drinks are strong and great flavor, tried several. My party is 3 had tacos, a different meat for each, they were really good. Service is friendly and fast. Tons of people, this place is always packed. Prices arent bad, lots of great deals throughout the week, specials too a very diverse crowd. The chalk work on the walls is amazing!!! Its a fun and friendly environment, if you are in the area definitely stop by you wont be sorry.

The atmosphere was fantastic. We sat out on the patio with our dogs who were brought water and dog biscuits. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was quite good. Prices were reasonable. We did wait over an hour for our food though.

I loved their Macaroni and Cheese! It was delicious! I am only eating one meal a day, and I was super full by the time I was done eating....but I was hoping for a bigger helping! I asked for the steak on top, and it was cooked to perfection! But it was so small! I expected some big helpings...but again cant complain. The one thing I will say....service seemed slow! Everyone was so polite....but I seemed to wait forever! I give it 4 Stars for all the goodness they have....but will hope for quicker service in the future! I will be back!

Fast, friendly service and lively vibe. Food was tasty. I had steak fajitas and my husband had the Lady or the Tramp with curballz with delicious Alfredo sauce. The Dublin mule was also tasty and I dont normally care much for mule drinks. Would definitely come back again!

Our first time and it was great! Got the taco special for $6 and it was a chicken one with a chili lime sauce and it was so good! The buffalo chicken sandwich was really good and we upgraded to the loaded fries which were so good. The pretzel is also amazing, very soft and the Queso and mustard is so yummy. The only thing I would change is it not being so loud but hey, it’s a bar lol. Edit: we got the apple fritter dessert... OH MH GOSH so amazing!!! Also, our waitress was awesome and super friendly!

The food is absolutely delicious here! Great selection and consistency make The Curb an easy choice to make when Im looking for tasty food, drinks, and watching a game. I also love the live music they bring in on the weekends!

Me and my friends come here for lunch once a week, and every single time, great and friendly stuff, fresh made, fast brought food. I tried almost everything on their menu, and I cant say something was bad, every meal especially tasty.P.S. arts on walls great bonus to the atmosphere
