Very cool club. Not too crammed and plenty of nice outdoor space to chill.

New security are absolutely terrible.Are incredibly rude, wouldnt let a group of lads in that were out doing pub golf so were wearing multi colours and said its because of what they were wearing. Although few months back these lads would be in cuban every weekend no problem. And what they were wearing were fine.Then a fight happened due to a group of lads being knobs to girls. A girl stuck up for herself and of course she got grabbed and kicked outTried tellingg one of the security who accused me of playing victim and spat in my face. 15 minutes later i see them same lads still in there.

Fantastic. Delish food. Friendly staff and banging atmosphere for the dj and dancing later in the evening. I will be going back

I went with a group of friends tonight (40 somethingsthey went in and my son, who was our lift home wasn’t allowed in because he had cargos on… fine, so I wanted to go in and tell the others who had gone the new plan but the very arrogant big for his boots bouncer refused….. very obnoxious, they lost loads of revenue, we only wanted to let them know a change of pick up time! If management read this, it was an older guy with bad teeth…. Big mistake!

All off us over 30, wanted ID for half of us, only had our bank cards on us, so got turned away, not very friendly, steer clear.

The lady in the bathroom literally was the highlight of myself and my friends night!!! We went to Cuban on Saturday and she helped us so much without her Cuban wouldn’t have been as fun! That women seriously deserves a pay rise lol! Absolutely was the loveliest lady will not forget her! :)

Very bad organisation. Very long queue for people without tickets for no reasons. Waited for 1h30 for nothing. Won’t come back.

Good place, but super crowded and pretty expensive.

Cuban bouncers aware awful, they abuse there power and when the queue is too long find any reason to remove people without reasoning- do not recommend spending within This establishment and AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

DONT visit this venue, bouncers are very aggressive even towards a simple conversation we were on a business trip where we would have spent a lot of money.59year old client was refused entry with no ID Even though website states at management discretion clearly a power trip on nights that suit them

Security team is stubborn and rude. My friends were not allowed into the club and were given no explanation. We go to Cuban regularly yet the bouncers were utterly disrespectful.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely appalled by the behaviour of the security team. One of the bouncers insisted that me and my friend snuck through the back even though we had stamps and he was the one that checked my ID at the door. Only after taking me out of the club where I showed him his colleague who let me into the club did he let me back in.

The security guards are blatantly rude and discriminatory. My friends were pulled out of the club and accused of sneaking in through the back. Despite the fact that they clearly had stamps on their wrists, they were on the guest list and that we come to Cuban at least once a week, the security guard refused to believe them. Yesterday, one of the same friends who was accused of sneaking in was refused entry without any explanation. Another friend was told that he has been banned for something he did last week and, yet again, there was no further explanation. One of the security guards faced his back to us and kept saying ‘He knows what he did’. Although they have no proof that anyone in my group has done anything wrong they continuously choose to target people and make groundless accusations. We are a big group of people and we bring a lot of traffic to the club and we are treated with no respect. We are taking our business elsewhere.

I went to the Cuban last night 15/03/2022 and I want to thank the female staff for being absolutely wonderful to me. A man was dancing with his girlfriend when he shoved his hand up my dress I was disturbed by that, so I told my friends.Two female security workers talked to me about the situation and reassured me that the Cuban is a safe space so the guy would be told off and even though that guy was apparently a regular at the Cuban they barred him for his actions and I am so so thankful that they were did their jobs exceptionally and kept me and my friends safe. If you are seeing this thank you both for listening to me and not dismissing me you are wonderful.

The bouncer was so rude me and my friend smiled the drinks cose someone bumped in to us cose it was so full and we got kicked out with out taking my bag and coat from the dressing room ..... after I spent so much money in there horrible the staf theee neednto be changed ....I undrstand us bouncer at night and waitress u meet lot diffrent kind but u should know who u ki king out for real reason not just cose the girl dont like u

Dreadful treatment here - out on a quiet hen party and the bouncer on the door spotted my friend was wearing a bride to be sash. He said "we dont accept hen parties" and ordered us to leave. He was very rude when we tried to reason - Id understand if we were loud and rowdy, but we were quite the opposite. He said it says on the Cuban website they dont take hen parties and after checking today it doesnt - it just says declare upon booking. Very disappointed with this attitude.

(Thursday night onlyOnly positives I can give you are the women and music. The rest... where to start? If you fancy being a human pinball machine after 11:30/12, then you might enjoy getting knocked about like a ragdoll on the dance floor. Want to get from one side of the club to the other? Dont be scared to barge through people like someone stole £200 worth of gear. For 1 second, I thought I was in London when I was charged £11 for a double Disarano coke. Go tesco and get there own branded bottle for £3 cheaper! I hope youve washed well and bought coins for the aftershave man because with no air con, I feel like Im dancing next to a pizza oven. Too hot in the summer! Theres another floor, why not use it when it gets so busy? Too short staffed perhaps? I give the staff 5 stars for putting the best shift in they can because clearly not enough staff around! See Im nice. The toilets couldnt be in a more inconvenient place. You will be taking a trip to what feels like the top floor of the Shard to these toilets which I think are also unsafe! Very tight corners. I could add more but I think I said enough. Simple things like opening other floors, bringing more staff, having air con, easier accessible toilets could make this place a real blast! Until this happens, I think Ill be avoiding. Because after I left tonight, I was actually looking forward to writing this review which says a lot.

Fun place to visit, great for cocktails

Its fun maybe for like 20 minutes, after that it becomes overwhelming. So- "The Cuban" looks like it had a pretty great atmosphere from the entrance, which is why I decided to come in here. Problem is that you have to pay a £10 entry fee, so you basically should stay for at least 45 minutes to make it worthwhile. They also require your ID for proof of age, so bare that in mind if you look young.As for being inside the nightclub: Its loud- VERY loud. When I was ordering a diet coke I had to shout so I could be heard. I understand its like a party, but the music doesnt need to be *that* loud, surely. My biggest concern with this nightclub was the fact that it looked like a covid breeding ground on the dance floor. Even though Im fully vaccinated, I still didnt feel comfortable with people being up in my face. Personal space is still a thing as well!If you want to have a fun night out without the worry of heavy covid spreaders, and being able to actually hear yourself think, then I would recommend just looking at other midnight pubs instead. Had to give this place a try though. I just think if the staff could enforce a limited capacity and turn the music down, then I would rate this nightclub higher. Thank you for reading.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Absolutely disgusting that they wouldnt let my group in because I was wearing a hen do sash. We were all fine and not intoxicated and werent wearing anything tacky to bring down their image. Theyve lost our money and I wont try to go again. The bouncers spoke to us like we were dirt under their feet.

Queued for 15 minutes on a Saturday night to be turned away at the door despite being completely sober. Not offered a concise reason for the dismissal and felt that the decision was discriminatory and unjustified. Asked to speak to the manager and was made a laughing stock by the staff. Definitely would not recommend. Disgusting

Its okay, however the drinks are expensive. The floor near the toilets are so slippery to the point I saw 4 girls fall over and my partner. My partner ended up damaging her knee, when we told a security guard it needs to be cleaned we was ignored.

Absolutely not worth paying for a table here, ridiculously over priced. If your table is outside you cannot hear the music and are basically sat in the back of a smoking area. Rude manager and staff. Citi Terrace, has a much nicer vibe, free tables and great staff, would definitely go back here instead.

A great venue for daytime drinks, nice music playing in the back ground and super friendly staff. The ordering app wasnt playing ball on their WiFi but this was no issue with the waiting service.

If you want to be a responsible individual in the midst of this pandemic - AVOID!! Only about 20% of people wearing masks when up from their tables making it a COVID-19 breeding ground. Mask-wearing not enforced by the bar staff or security. Did not feel safe there at all. Cost of entry was £5 and drinks were expensive. Not only this but they instruct you to use the QR code on the tables to place your drinks orders yet every time you order there is a 70p surcharge for being online. What a scam! I do not mind spending money when it is worth it but it’s a cheapy bar with tacky customers and they want to charge luxury prices. The music was so loud as if it were a club but you are not able to get up from your table or dance so all you can do is talk.. but the volume of the music made it rather difficult to talk to the people at your table. On the plus side, the renovation definitely is an improvement but unfortunately there’s too much that puts me off. Won’t be going again and don’t recommend to others.

Only come here for drinks !!! This is a club/ bar NOT a restaurant. Came here with an open mind expecting good food and a good atmosphere. However both were lacklustre. The Cuban is trying to be something that it can’t deliver (a restaurant). Be warned there is a £5 entry/ booking fee pp and online service fee when ordering. Very loud club music which leads to shouting but would be okay if you were just having drinks with friends.

Very average. We arrived and they only had us down for 2 people despite me booking for 3, then we got taken to the table to find another party already sat there! We then were taken outside and discovered we had to order on the website, which was okay but quite a hassle. We were taken inside and drinks & food came out promptly. The tapas was very average, I’ve had far better! Service was pretty good and the bar itself seems pleasant.

Amazing food!!! We had the Cuban Platter and sat out on the terrace. We brought our mini sausage dog and he was welcomed by literally every member of staff. So so sweet!!!

Should definitely take the word restaurant out of the title... the food was horrible, to the point of making both myself and the person I was with feel sick! The guy at the front of desk was rather unhelpful and borderline rude. The woman that served us was the only decent member of staff. But overall, the only recommendation I would give this place is to Stay Away! What an insult to paella/tapas...

Cocktails are always spot on, lively atmosphere, good late night venue.

Treated my wife to a tapas and cocktails deal on Groupon which was very good value. We went early and were the first customers, later 3 young ladies entered to have drinks. Our tapas (king prawns, 2x spare ribs and grilled porkwere OK without being special. The cocktails, a Margharita and a Pina Colada, were nicely presented but low in alcohol. We had got used to Mexican measures on holiday - a lot more alcohol and large measures. But then this is the UK where only the tax bills are large. We ordered a Havana Burger and chips which were both excellent, the burger meaty and nicely spiced, the chips delicious and cooked just right. Well worth the £11 charge. Service was friendly and the music lively, authentic and at a sensible volume. We enjoyed our visit.

Went for lunch time tapas. The place was fairly quiet. Service was good and the staff were lovely. Menu had plenty of choices and all 8 dishes we had were really good. We found that 8 dishes went well between 4 people.We also had cocktails which were well made.Only one downside was that it was pretty cold inside the restaurant.Would go again though.

Wow, I have been a frequent visitor over the recent years to Cuban for the nightlife, always enjoyed it. I can only say how this lovely venue has improved, absolutely incredible staff, the suave and legendary Dmitrius shows only the best hospitality and is a truly talented barman who certainly made our groups night. Fantastic cocktails and top notch customer service every time, very friendly staff throughout.Thanks!

Its an ok place. Nothing special. Good crowd. Average priced drinks. Washrooms have cameras which is just weird. Music was awesome. Sticky floors even before the night started. Beautiful hostess... Would go again!

Never been there for the nightlife but the food is very good, my sister loves coming to visit from London just to come here for the paella and virgin Strawberry mojito. Definitely worth a visit... Although the portion sizes have seemed to shrink.

Came here for tapas and cocktails with the girls, would never recommend it. The food was forgettable, the cocktails were very below par and the service was unbelievably shoddy. I asked for a frozen strawberry daiquiri but was given a standard one...Ordinarily I would have just had the drink as it came (not mainly considering Id waited about 15mins for it to arrive but also because Im not one to normally make a fussbut the waitresss attitude was really off. She stood at our table and shouted back to the bar girl to check whether or not Id actually asked for it to be frozen (which I hadand she said I hadnt asked for that so she hadnt made it frozen. Knowing full well what I had ordered, and not appreciating the attitude, I sent it back. This was met with an eye roll. Then another drink arrived and was slammed down on the table so that it spilled everywhere, no acknowledgement made whatsoever and nothing brought over to help clear it up. Waited for the bill for absolutely ages, no staff to be seen upstairs at all so went downstairs to order another drink and settle the bill there. I asked for a cocktail and was met with a blank stare. I stood for a while until a good few mins later the bar girl said Id have to go to another part of the bar to order my drink?? I wouldnt normally mind any of this but the place isnt cheap and you dont expect behaviour like that from staff!It was during the daytime and not even remotely busy so there is no reasonable excuse.I probably wont be going back here any time soon

Great place to go out with friend, enjoy a cocktail or a beer and go and have a good knees up. However, we thought it would be a good idea to eat there as well as enjoying the above and that was a mistake. So ok we could enjoy the drink at Happy hour price but the food was substandard and still quite pricy for the quality of it. So moral of the story dont eat in a nightclub! Rest of the night was good but I wouldnt advise to go and eat there.

Very poor experience last Thursday, 31/06/2018. Cuban has no care for the people that line up for hours to get into the club, which is clear from the prioritization of those paying double entry to get in. There are two queues, one single price and one double price. Of course the double queue should be allowed in quicker, however on Thursday I made it to the front of the single price queue yet the steady trickle of people coming in from the double queue meant I didnt even make it inside. 2 hour wait for nothing. On the rare occasion I go with friends it is the absolute last place anyone I know will go to. Drinks are overpriced for the cheap vodka they pour, thats if youre lucky enough to be served past the pushing people and overstretched bar staff.

Great place for a Saturday night. Best time is just after the salsa stops and before they start charging entry. For a "Cuban" place I would like more choice in high end rums, only really 2 choices for good sipping rum. Definitely more of a cocktail place.

Having lived in this city for over 3 years, this is the only destination on a Thursday night. Friendly security, friendly bar staff and great music make for a great night. I cannot recommend this club more, it far surpasses the other offerings of the city.

Good to go to when youve had a few drinks and care less about getting elbowed or feeling like a sardine as it is always so packed out in here, though the bar runs along the whole of one wall so not a lot of queuing for drinks. Generally play good music, but the toilets are right on the top floor so difficult to get to with the amount of people in there.

Dangeriously overcrowded as it was imposable to move around dance floor with people stuck together. Drinks are rediciouly expensive £5.30 for a gin and tonic!!! On top of a £5 entry fee and toilets had no handwash and were unhygenic with unclear singage to male and female restrooms. Only made up for by the good music and friendly staff.

Disgusted with the lack of customer service. Got moved from our first table as they were clearing them then told we have to leave (after being told of offers -2 cocktails for £10). No-one warned us whilst handing over our money! When we did get told to move it was by a very condescending young girl. Who also seemed to get very defensive when I questioned why we werent warned... wont be wasting my money here again!

Had a meal there today, food was not too bad but the awful service has just shocked me. Waitresss repulsive manner and disrespectful tone has destroyed my appetite and has proved that being rude to the customers is completely acceptable in this place. Accordingly, if you have any respect for yourself and prefer to feel welcomed and looked after, this is clearly not the place you are ought to visit in such a lovely town.

Went here with friends on Good Friday, the place was pretty empty but it still took us ages to be served. Once wed ordered drinks and paid they ended up "forgetting " to bring our drinks over until we reminded them 30 minutes later. Its a really unfriendly place and will not be visiting again.

Great place to go for an after meal drink (and dance if thats your thing!). Music varies, often live, always fun. Total mixture of people of all ages, and that doesnt seem to be a problem for anyone, and for us, added to the atmosphere. Great range of cocktails and bottled beers. Ive been there several times for drinks and never disappointed. But Ive only eaten there once, and wont again. The service was excellent, but the food offering was limited, boring and distinctly so-so. And grossly overpriced.
