Absolutely stunning. Great for everyone. If you are planning to go, get there when it opens, the line will be MUCH shorter.

Crown Jewels are the Tower of London highlight. Worth a visit!

Magical experience, walking through the history of the tower of London was something else, its a must visit

The crown jewels was a really beautiful experience the stuff on display is magnificent and it feels like walking through the different royal eras of the united kingdom.

It was a lengthy queue outside and it went on inside too. I was quite disappointed to be honest. The crowns are amazing pieces but everything else was just OK to look at. I wanted to see other jewellery like necklaces and rings maybe tiaras etc but nothing like that when I visited.

Not too long of a queue on the 24th of Aug.The walk through to the jewels was informative and interesting. The travelator, which I remember from when I was little, is still being used to keep people moving past the jewels and it is the most fantastic method. No one is pushing, or leaving smudges on the display glass etc. You have the ability to use the travelator again if you so wish.

The displays and information were fantastic, great thought about interesting set ups the dragon was amazing. Grounds beautiful kept, The only thing I was disappointed in was that in the toilet the soap dispenser and the sinks were so high my 6 year old grandson could not reach. A lower sink would be much more appropriate.

Theres was a very big queue for seeing The Crown Jewels but it moved quite quickly, we wait for an half an hour, more or less. But they are impressive! And you get to see them very close.

We arrived in the Tower around 10.30 am and we had been advised to go straight to the Crown Jewels as soon as we arrived, as queues build up later in the day. Very good advice and walked straight in, one hour later the queue was seriously long stretching well beyond the main queuing area and down the road. Once inside you follow a 1 way system around the jewels and artifacts, all very well lit and displayed. No photography allowed onside the venue.

Got there nice and early so we didnt have to queue for too long. Very well organised and the Crown jewels are really beautiful.

Impressive the crowns jewels and for a Saturday, the queue at 10 AM is acceptable.

Displaying stolen loot from other countries. Way to go! I thought at least now you people would return the cultural heritage of ex colonies. But no. Thieves will be thieves this generation or the old.

As amazing as you could imagine. Made an error, didnt go there first, so we had to stand in the cue in +35 or so. Lucky for us, it moved quite quickly, but in the end it was the long human-snake sliding through all of the exposition with staff telling you to stop daydreaming and imagining how the crown would look on you and move on (read - dont hold the line). Nevertheless, totally worth it, imagining how the royals would wear something so invaluable.

Fantastic! Well worth it. Rich with history and royal treasure. We are tourist and came in May on a weekday. No line ups or wait time. Wish you could take pictures inside, but understandably you cannot. Amazing to see the historical and current crowns.

This IMHO is the most impressive exhibit in the Tower. The ticket to Tower of London includes the entry. There seems to always be a long queue but the wait is worth it. The exhibit is focused on the royal jewels and you get to see even collections from the medieval times during the 1600s. They are very well kept and absolutely remarkable. I have learnt that the larger items in gold that was used for the royal feasts on displays are actually silver plated with gold. That’s because pure gold is too soft to hold the weight and shape. No photography is allowed.

We visited the Crown Jewels on a Tuesday the week before the school holidays in the UK.They dont allow personal photos of the Jewels. 😐The Beefeaters and Bearskins and other Military personnel rotate weekly so you may or may not get the Icon Bearskin.Do get a snap with the grayed goateed Beefeater his semi-famous and we say hime on multiple ads and even the front cover of the magazine in our hotel.We happened to be at the right place in line and at the perfect time:The British Royal Army marching for commencement of The Ceremony of the Word.THE ROYAL GIBRALTAR REGIMENT aka "THE BARBARIANS" from Devils Tower Camp doing a week rotation at The Tower of London guarding the Crown jewels.

Get there early or late in the day to avoid the epic queue. Midday is the worst. Inside toull find opulence galore. If you like gold and jewels this is the place.No photos allowed inside, allegedly, but I saw some visitors taking pics surreptitiously.

+ Sparkly ✨+ You get really close to the jewels- Do you enjoy queueing so you can queue in another queue? Sure hope so!- Showing videos on the walls felt like oblivious filler so you dont die of boredom- Would have liked mor detailed information about the showcases themselves

Wonderful. Worth the visit but get there Early! We were done by 10:30 and the lines were really long.

Crown jewels is the highlight of Tower Of London. We did not have to wait longer than 10 mins in the queue.Photography is not allowed.Weekend attracts many families and tourists. It would be good to book tickets in advance.Cafe and toilets are available within the vicinity

1st, let me start by informing you that you cannot take pictures inside the Crown Jewels. Not a big deal though with all the fantastic items you get to look at. One could easily spend a good bit of their time in there just marveling at all the jewels. Highly recommend!

So much bling! Brilliant idea to have a slow moving escalator (flat escalatorso not loads of people crowded around it. Super helpful staff, they know a lot about the history of them and even some funny stories 😁 Only giving it four stars because you are not able to take pictures of them.

Went during the week. No queue line at all. This exhibit is fascinating but also shows the decadence of the royal family

At a coronation, the monarch is smeared/rubbed with holy oil poured from an ampulla (eagle shapedinto a spoon, invested with robes and ornaments, and crowned with St Edwards Crown. Afterwards, it is exchanged for the lighter Imperial State Crown, the same one worn by the Queen at State Openings of Parliament. You can see all those things with the Crown Jewels. Since 1831, a new crown has been made specially for each wife of a King. You can also see several crowns for the Prince of Wales. After Edward VIII abdicated later the same year he was crowned as King and went into exile in France taking the 1902 coronet with him, where it remained until his death in 1972. In its absence, another coronet had to be made for the investiture of Prince Charles in 1969.

Went on a weekend and had to wait for more than 90 minutes in the queue!!!However, it was worth it as the crown jewels were amazing and we had a wonderful experience inside. Also got to see the change of guards in the tower hill, just outside the crown jewels building. You will not need to rush once you are inside. Will visit again sometime in future..not on the weekend or public holiday though :).

Enjoyed the experience. Be prepared to queue to see the crown jewels though. However, they were worth the wait!

Really good day out.So much history.Do go on the tour you get to go in the church where Anne Boleyn is buried.There are places to eat and toilets available in the grounds

Very well organised. Two travelators move you past the display cases. As it is timed entry due to Covid19 there are few people around. You can go round as many times as you want if you get in early

Brilliant day out. Please support london attractions. Very quiet there but this was brilliant as we could chat to queens guards who were all on great form, experience we would not have had if covid restrictions hadnt been restricting londons movements. Thanks you all for making brilloant day.

Amazing to view the crown jewels at the tower of london. Staff are very knowledgeable and could talk about all of tge items on display and stories around them throughout the years .

Amazing place, crown jewels are beautiful, the history behind these walls is amazing. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

It felt to us like a short visit. Clearly very interesting.You will need to go prepared to search or do a preview information research to enjoy and appreciate what you see.The history behind some of those gems are tragic and at this point they represent more than royalty.A must visit.

First of all this museum has a beautiful location. Right on the edge of the Thames river, next to the famous tower of London bridge. This museum is inside a small castle and looks stunning on the backdrop of some modern structures of London on either sides of the river. When we visited it there wasnt a long line there. After a quick security check we entered. And realized that its basically the museum of the crown jewels. This mini castle had some British artillery guns of Victorian era at display in the courtyard. And some bobbies guarding posts at some points. The main attraction for us, being from India was the "kohinoor" diamond , which is also from India in the crown of the queen. We saw it up close for the first time. There are restrooms inside and outside of the museum, in parking area also, and there are some small shops and cafes there too. A must visit place in London.

Very neat getting to see all of the Crown Jewels, be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds. And they do not allow any photographs inside, what so ever.

I saw the Crown Jewels many years ago on a trip to England when I was young. It was time to see them again and I couldnt have been more impressed. Well organized and lots to learn about the important history behind these incredible crowns, jewels, gowns, and assorted regalia.

Best part of the Tower of London attraction. Long long lines means that if you are pressed for time, this is the first place you should go to. You can spend almost an hour in line before you get to see the Jewels.Once you get into the building you get a crash course in history about the Monarchy. This keeps you occupied, but you will probably still be in line while you see it. Hope you are a fast reader.Eventually, you get to the room that houses the Crown Jewels. You can move around and look at all the Jewels at your own pace here. The line ceases to exist in this room.This is an absolute must do for anyone visiting the Tower of London.

We and our children really enjoyed this. We took the people movator several times to look at the jewels. The line was very long outside but it kept moving. Everything was beautiful, as you may well imagine. No photography is allowed inside!!

Honestly not what I was expecting...Dont get me wrong, they are great to see but all the fuss and word of mouth about them I was expecting a little more?You que throughout the whole experience as its more of a walk through "human train" situation. Once you get inside, you stand on a travelator and are taken passed the history of crowns starting with the very first one. Non of them have the original jewels in. Then you get off the travelator and staying in the line, walk around the next room with information and replicas of crowns etc. And finally (the only reason you cameyou head into the next room, passed the giant safe doors and the crown jewels are in the middle, you can do a full 360 of them if you get passed the 100s of people with their noses on the glass that is...Youre not allowed to take photos but if youre sneaky enough you can.And of course you exit via the gift shop(who is sneaky now!)

Beautiful palace, although we did not see anything inside. it certainly looked beautiful and glorious.

The official Historic Royal Palaces web site recommends allowing one hour for your visit. We had to queue for almost an hour just to get inside the building, which didnt leave us with much time to see anything else. I suggest you allow at least 2 or 3 hours to visit the Tower of London so as to get full value for the rather high price you pay to get in.

You can’t take pictures in the rooms where the jewels are held, but everywhere else you can. Before you get to the jewels it’s just panels briefly talking about the history of how the jewels are used in royalty. Although the line may look intense, it goes by quite quickly. The part where the crowns are displayed has a moving walkway to make sure people don’t take too much time there.

Very nice to visit this place. A wonderful collections of Very precious Queens Crown. Feeling great to see Priceless Indian Kohinoor Diamond in Crown. Also so many varies priceless diamonds, ruby and pracious stones on different crowns. Great collection of Gold utensils. Great collection of precious arms. A great Safe deposit volt.
