We were refused entrance to the venue due to a female staff members history. It felt very prejudice and there was also an openly violent biker that had threatened myself and others multiple times waiting outside due to Cial being with Zoe who was cheating on me with him. Not only has he threatened me but they have brought trouble to my door and workplace having had to throw Zoe out of the house we both were renting. Cial is not got publicity for the venue and Zoe should have had a proper background check on employment history and a CRB check for being able to work around children and lying about not getting sacked from a previous job. Lovely place, good atmosphere. My only issue is theres a girl with blue hair that works there, she had a bad unwelcoming attitude and unfortunately her personal hygiene isnt up to standard for someone in her line of work.Perhaps managers can provide deodorants for their staff to mask the bad body oder if the staff dont have their own.

Monday night not a good night to go here didnt have what we wanted had to make do with something else not really value for money

Well I can say some of the best staff well have Zoe watton who works here Id one of the best bar staff always have a big smile an takes care of the people an myself when i visit will come in just because of her

Rather run down but does have sky football.Has changed in the last 4 years but not much better, in fact I am downgrading it to one star. We were there about seven to eight oclock on a Saturday evening. No real ale available. Food very mediocre, kitchen door open and kitchen staff shouting and larking about. We had a a view of 19 tables from where we sat, only a maximum of four occupied at any given time.........not a good sign for peak time Saturday!! Constantly annoyed by a plague of little black flies...... one drowned in my keg beer and I had to fish it out!!!! All in all..... not a pleasant experience........ wont be returning in the next four years unless it improves dramatically.

We went here for the first time tonight and it will be the last time we will go there. We ordered our meals and sat at a table and waited for the food to arrive, while waiting there were dozens of tinyblack flies buzzing around of which several found their way into our drinks..when the food arrived the mushrooms on my husbands mixed grill were fridge cold the eggs were fried till solid and the chips were cold and dry like they had been reheated, my food was luke warm and the scampi was the smallest i have ever seen. There was only 14 chips on my portion and they were also almost cold .i am just glad i ordered the jumbo portion. We were not asked if our food was ok so we just ate our food and left and we will not be back.

Nice food and a nice atmosphere generally, what let it down was the refusal to open a tab because we did not have a discount voucher. Have always opened a tab when paying by card. Probably resulted in us spending less time here and less money!

A very average experience. Portions werent consistent between orders on our table, or the table next to us who had ordered the same meals, leaving some of us with small meals and others with more than could be eaten. Meat quality was poor. Service was polite but inexperienced.

We use the crown regularly its absolutely brilliant. The owners and the staff are great , your always made welcome. The food and drinks are always spot on . I would recommend this pub to anyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We Were served By a very nice Barmaid by the name of Jordan who was very efficient and helpful in our food service and had a good rapport we all 5 of us, who were very much her senior. Will definitely go to visit there again

The food was hot you could improve on the quality as the sirloin steak was very chewy resulting in not eating it all

The pub was ever so clean and welcoming.The staff were lovely and sweet did everything to make us feel at home, Rosie and Courtney was ever so helpful in helping us find a seat and giving us recommendations about the food.The food was beautifully presented and very punctual, very tasty I asked if they could give a compliment to the chef for me, Shannon did a great job on the food.I will be back! 👌

Courtney and the manager always have a smile and warm welcome. The food is always amazing and would highly recommend this establishment.Have been to other sizzler pubs but they dont match this level of service.

We were served by Jordan who is definatley an asset to your company, pleasant, informative and just a warm and friendly person. I had the ultimate fish and chips and was really pleased that they offered a doggie bag as it was huge..Clean,friendly with good food I cannot wait to return

Entire experience was disgusting from start to finish Sizzling pubs should be ashamed! First of all drinks where watery and tasteless, secondly kitchen staff acting like children at the park shouting, unprofessional. Thirdly trying to pass cheap Doritos off as nachos that cost £7.79 taking 25 minutes to come, 4 pieces of chicken and enough cheese sauce and BBQ to cover 2 Nachos!! (This is not an exaggerationtook a further 20 minutes to correct it making a starter a pudding! Attitude off the staff was unprofessional and a disgrace muttering under there breath when being told about an issue rolling eyes and throwing arms in the air when they believed they were out of site. The fact that the manager was in the kitchen makes it all the more worse and owners should really be looking into this as the professional standards shown where not those of a professional business!! If I could give it no stars I would!

Food and service were good. We order house salads with steak and with chicken, they were good size portions and salads were enjoyable. We also order chicken wings which were lovely and crispy, very scrumptious 😋

Food from new menu very nice but only 3 other tables taken and we waited 1 hour 10 mins for 5 prawns on a skillet. Staff not very polite and argued we had only waited 30 mins. We wont return.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful, ordering was easy and food came out at a fast pace, the food was to a very good standard and I and my partner enjoyed our food. The cleanness of the pub was to a very high standard and was spotless. I would highly recommend coming here for a meal or a date night. :)

Served by vicky, who was very helpful and attentive especially with my kids who were a bit hyperactive on the day. Food was delicious kids loved the build your own ice cream. Will definitely be returning 👍🏼

Had a lovely family meal here today, staff were lovely, luke was cheerful and helpful behind the bar and the girl who served us our food was nice. She even brought over our drinks as I struggle with my balance.

Havent been in here for a while ,,Now I know why ,Wanted a punt of real Ale hadnt got any sold out they said,Had to drink something I didnt really wantOrdered Rib Eye steak hadnt got any left so ordered Rump cooked MediumMeal arrived mushroom was soggy dripping in 🥵 ????All scrunched up so returned the mealLater came back mushrooms looked better ???Steak was cooked but well Done 😠 i was hungry so I didnt return it ,, mushroom was full of fatty watery and tasteless ,,No wonder place was quiet compared to my regular sizzle I normally use but couldnt get a table tonight,,Dont think Ill bother again

Went for a meal at this lovely pub on Sunday, was greeted by Vicky and lead to a lovely table. Everything was clean and immaculate. The service was very good and cheery from all staff. Food was amazing, great value for money and the atmosphere was great to be in.

Came in for a meal with my daughter and granddaughter, food was fantastic and big portions. Drinks great and staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family.

Decided to come out for food with my family, and I am so glad I decided to come here! The interior is absolutely perfect, so modern and the cleanliness is outstanding. The staff who served us at the bar and brought out our food were so efficient and hands one and nothing was too much to ask! Perfect team, as we noticed what we asumed were management leading the way with team by being very hands on. More than recommeded.

Clean, friendly but food , item missing, totally tasteless. No flavour at all.Ive been a number of times and had different meals. None any better. Have been offered a desert for free and havent accepted. . Very sad because its an ideal location but for me Im sure theres much better food in the area. Also I wasnt the only one to complain on each occasion but not everyone wants to leave a review.This is in reply to your reply this is most definitely not the First time food has been missing. Also not the first time its been tasteless.As a regular group who attend your place not all are confident to complain either to you directly or on here.

Visited today as a group of 12 including 4 hyped up children. I have never considered going into this place but I am really pleased we did. The atmosphere was great, the food was spot on and we all felt really welcomed by the staff who payed the little ones a little extra attention. This is my new local for sure.

One of the best meals iv had , the guy behind the bar and on the till was brilliant , well recommend!

Lovely meal at The Crown Aldridge last night!As business neighbours, we of course know the staff, especially owner Jeff and the lovely Vic, but dont often see them socially.Food was great, generous portions, fresh and hot.Strawberry sundaes went down particularly well with our greedy lot...We at Croft News like the odd staff meal or 6 and this was a lovely, friendly setting to do so.Thanks everyone and see you back there soon!!

Love coming to this inn, friendly staff, friendly atmosphere. Ordered food from here, it was unbelievably amazing, it was truely worth the wait. The lovely waiter was really nice, I believe her name is Stephanie. Would definitely recommend this Inn, its family friendly too!

Called in on Bank Holiday weekend for tea with the kids after a day out. Ordered drinks and food through the app and everything came to the table quickly. Food was good and portions were of a good standard. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will go back again another day for sure!

Free parking if you put reg into console. Really nice aesthetic pub. Funky succulents and mirrors on walls and booths with wall plugs if you wanted to charge a laptop or phone.Went for my boyfriends birthday meal. The waiter, young lad with a beard was absolutely amazing. He was smiling the whole time and super polite. He kindly brought out a birthday cake. The staff were really nice and seemed genuinely happy. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was quite empty inside. Couple people outside on a patio table. Really quiet and chilled. First time here and loved it. Food was good. Standard pub food but well presented.

Called in for tea tonight. Fab service from start to finish. Quick & very polite staff. Had the New Pumped Up Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast.......it was delicious. Its nice to see a healthy option on the menu. Hubby had the Cluckin Hot Burger which he really enjoyed too. We will definitely be back for food 😁.

Visited The Crown in Aldridge with my three children (15, 9 and 7as we was invited down by the General Manager, Craig.After having a terrible experience at another establishment on the Newton Road, Birmingham.I was invited to The Crown by Craig and I was thoroughly impressed with the establishment along with Jarron (the other General Managerand their colleagues..We ordered food and drinks and was shown how an establishment is supposed to be run.Very good customer service, prices and the meal was lovely too.Would definitely recommend The Crown.Thank you for making my children and I welcome. 🍀

I enjoyed dinner here with my family tonight. Jared (the general managerwas friendly and attentive, as were the rest of the staff. For starters we had onion rings and Hunters gammon & cheese melt, both were absolutely fabulous. For the main meal, we had fish and chips and gammon with eggs. For desert I had treacle pudding. I only thought about taking photos after I ate my main meal. There are two menus (as we are approaching Christmas). We ordered off the regular menu, but noticed it appeared those who ordered off the "festive menu" got a bit extra as there were party crackers and table coverings. This place is great and I will be returning before I head back to the USA.
