The Creperie - Crêperie in Helena, United States
Great little place, very spacious inside though no outdoor seating. Both sweet and savory crepes with veggie options and a good selection of lattes too.
Good crepes both savory and sweet.
My Chai latte was excellent, the crepes were delicious, the berry crepe took me by surprise with fresh berries. The blueberries made me think i was back in Vermont where they are the tastiest ive ever eatten. I would and will give this a 5 star++I wish I had time to try more but I am traveling from Utah and will return again one day.
Well done crepes. Great choices for filling. Friendly staff
I love a place with a vegan option. Dont let the name put you off, the Buckwheat crepes were to die for, and completely plant based!
It was good food but my friends crepe was about 30% bigger than mine.
Pre-made crepes warmed up made them crispy, and the crepe is really only a half a crepe, so perhaps.advertise them as petite crepes? Sadly, the latte was lukewarm. The staff was very kind, but we would not be inclined to return here.
Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and the crepes are delicious!
Food was good, could be a bit faster. If you are on a leisurely schedule, definitely worth it.
Minus stars because saw worker move all the crepes with their bare hands. That’s nasty. Use gloves or a spatula. Not that hard. The huckleberry pulled pork is great though. “Crepe” is too crispy and hard on the outside to be a crepe IMO, more akin to a quesadilla. Love that it came with a salad tho.
Fun and unique Crepe options. We tried many and they all were fantastic. Definitely will be going back.
We were unimpressed it takes over an hour to get your breakfast. The chefs constantly touch their clothing, face, receipts and everything and then immediately handle your food without washing their hands. The portions are quite small and trying to order a coffee takes a little bit of gymnastics apparently. And like all these little businesses they want to tip before they even provide service.
Stumbled upon this place on a road trip. Cute little French inspired interior. Super great pricing! Menu had both savory and sweet options. Took longer than expected to get the food but tasted delicious! They also made a pretty good London fog latte 😊 I tell everyone to try it next time they’re in Helena.
Loved the idea.. The savory sausage & cheddar had great flavor but the crepe was dry. The 4 berry was pretty good, and came loaded, however, the lemon was so sparse & very dry... Hoped for better.
The best crepes in town. Wonderful atmosphere. Truly a great place to eat and visit.
Definitely one of a kind in Helena. One of my favorite brunch spots. They have a great menu with quite a few different flavor profiles. I would highly recommend trying them out.
Great place to eat. Very attentive staff, delicious food, and good atmosphere. Highly recommended.
This place is a must try for a light lunch or breakfast. We eat here every time were in town - love it!
Love this place! I love the turkey pesto crepe, the asparagus soup we had the other day though...oh my gosh, it was heaven. And served in the cutest cup. A crepe and that little soup is a perfect light lunch option.
We get crepes every Sunday after church. Theyre always good!
Wonderful fresh tasty food. The baked goods are out of this world!
The Creperie isnt what it used to be. The crepes are no longer made fresh, rather they are made hours or days before and then refrigerated prior to being filled and cooked. The quality has really suffered in recent years. We were there recently and the crepes were so sticky and ugly. Time to up your game folks! There are better eating options in Helena.
Good place to eat. Very busy during noon hour. Good crepes.
I had been wanting to try the food here and Im so glad I finally did! The crepes were tasty and we loved our huckleberry lemonades. We tried the Chai which I am usually picky about, but this Chai took me right back to Afghanistan it was so good!
An excellent place to stop for a snack or a meal. Great atmosphere, superb food, solid service!
Wonderful way with crepes! The Tiramisu crepe was very tasty and the savory provolone, mushroom, spinach and tomato crepe w/garden salad was delicious!!
Food tasted good but was a little on the small side. Great variety of sweet and savory. In the future I would reccomend they either put the salad dressing on the side or offer a variety. I did not care for the dressing they put on my salad. Service was alright but a little slow. What I liked the least was the owner reprimanding his employees where everyone could hear. It just made the experience a little uncomfortable.
Waited 45 minutes for soup and two crepes and the crepes were burnt and the soup was tiny and had one shrimp when I ordered the bowl and it was a miso shrimp soup. Never even apologized
Ive been here twice now. The food is good, the price is good but the service is so so. Both orders were carry out and both times there were no forks or napkins. A bit frustrating
Perfect spot for lunch! I had one savory, one sweet
I had a very mixed experience with the Creperie..... First off, the building is beautiful, but sadly this is the only thing great about the Helena Creperie. The crepes were served to me very dry, also, they were very thick for a crepe and they were cold. I think that the atmosphere did not match the theme of the restaurant and that the crepes are not made genuine. Overall I think if the Creperie were to fall back on old ways and get into the rhythm of the culture that is heavily involved in the craftsmanship of crepes.
Strange. I’ve never been to a creperie where they take (drypremade crepes, microwave the toppings, fold things up in the dry crepe, then toss it all on a grill like a panini.I was glad to see this place open. I just hope someone teaches them how to make fresh crepes, like virtually every other creperie.
Great place for breakfast/brunch. It’s a small place, so big groups (over 6 peopleare difficult to seat. They seem pretty new at the restaurant and serving routine, but they are really good and totally worth it. Excellent food for crazy good prices. I would totally recommend going here.
Ive wanted to try crepes for a long time but didnt have good crepe places in my old town. This was a great first experience with crepes! I tried three different flavors and they were all good.
Visited several times. It is coffee and breakfast shop.I have eaten several times here. Good customer service and hygienic food. Double shot expresso latte is good. The young man who works here is very nice with customers. This shop is running by old man who still work very energetic and inspires me. He is customer friendly and good gentleman.
I got the chicken mushroom pesto and it was fine enough. Nothing super amazing. My son got the ham and cheese. It was good. The crepe gets folded in sixths so the portions don’t end up being much. The gentleman behind the counter was doing his best to fill in for someone out of town but had I noticed all I did while I was waiting for my food before I had ordered i definitely wouldn’t have ordered. The prep area was messy. He kept touching money and a dirty rag in between preparing my food without washing or giving his hands. One time he put some sanitizer on and without even barely wiping it on as it was still super wet and drippy returned to preparing my food. Pretty sure some of that sanitizer was in my meal. Just really unorganized but doing his best.
Great location, great price, and absolutely great food. Outdoor seating area is in a beautiful part of the walking mall. We were on a family outing when we tried this place. We parked at Centennial Park, walked to the Creperie, ate breakfast, visited Exploration Works, and took a ride on the Carousel. I will definitely be going back and recommend that you try it.
Visited the Creperie while on vacation. We had 4 great crapes with varying ingredients. Everyone said they were delicious. Fast service, clean restaurant and great outdoor seating.
Great patio setting for a cup of coffee on a beautiful day. I would go somewhere else for breakfast, but if you are looking for a sweet treat, the lemon and sugar crepe is great.
A small local business, the food is good and quick.
Lovely creperie nestled in the walking area of Great Northern Town Center. Pleasant service and all types of crepes for all. Savory, sweet, and all for a low price. I enjoy lunches there!
Pretty good crepes. They have a special. There is indoor and outdoor dining areas.
Very yummy crepes and coffee. We had just visited the farmers market on Saturday and had great ape crepes. They were much more expensive than at the creperie, but the creperie was much better! I will say, Im giving them a four star because I heard the microwave a LOT while sitting inside. Not sure what they were using the microwave for so often, possibly eggs or something. Just annoying to hear and I dont like establishments with microwaves.
This was my first time eating here and the food was so delicious, I finished everything on my plate, but didnt make me me feel overly full. Good portions for great prices and my mocha was great too! The two workers there today were pleasant and did really well even when they got busy. My only issue was I couldnt decide which crepe I wanted! I will definitely be in again soon.
The Beef Burgandy soup is amazing. You can taste the Burgandy wine.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is pleasant. The atmosphere is calm. This would have been a 5 star review if the restroom were easily accessible to my wheelchair-bound child. If you are handicapped, have a friend scope the facilities before committing to a meal here.
Had brunch here on a Saturday to change up the normal diner fare. The crepes came fast and were tasty, but theyre a bit crunchier than Im used to. They forgot about our coffee for a while, but it was good once we got it. I recommend the Tiramisu.
Fantastic crepes, good service, good coffee. What more could you want? The savory crepes with sausage is great. Nutella and banana is a classic. I also really liked the tiramisu.
Not worth it - crepes are good but service is too bad to make a visit worthwhile - they cant handle more than a few customers at a time - the two people working made crepes and forgot about drinks - ordered two crepes and a latte and a chai - got the crepes and asked about our drinks - told they were coming - finished our crepes and asked about our drinks again - told they were working on them. When people who came in after us got their drinks, we told the staff to forget our drinks - no offer of refund or even an apology, so we left.
Our familys Fav spot to eat in Helena! Love the savory and dessert crepes! Thanks for having a gluten-free option! Quick service and wonderful servers, esp Erin, with the great smile. Love your hot chai too. Cant wait to return for lunch with my friends.
