The Creek Street Cabaret - Jazz club in Ketchikan, United States
This is fantastic, Maria was the best bartender and extremely personable! Inexpensive drinks and a great band to boot! Come in over here for a great time!
Absolutely a tragic situation, it’s the only good option in town for live music, but the owners who don’t have service industry experience, micro manage every aspect of the bar and food service, which kills the vibe when you wait 45 minutes for a beer. And sadly the entire staff left due to paychecks bouncing…. That still haven’t cleared weeks later… but it remains open with new staff that definitely align with the owners, untrained and very chaotic.
Fun atmosphere and history. Aurora drink is to die for.
Great place, awesome drinks and friends owners.
The Pub crawl was awesome , we went to three different pubs . The first one was recently opened. Great people, great fun and vodka even brought a bottle home with me. The second pub was the kabaret another awesome pub, the third was the Potlatch. Three awesome pubs !!!!
Great food and good music
Very decent place to go to with a very relaxing atmosphere when you want to get away from the run of the mill dive bars in town. They feature live music, open mic night, karaoke for entertainment. You can also rent the establishment to host private parties. The BBQ PULLED PORK SLIDERSb are the best that I have had since I left North Carolina!
Great cover bands!!
Yeah thats me playing at open mic night on Sunday night 6pm till 9pmish. Lots of great artists, differant types of music, food, drinks, friendly staff, and owner if normally there as well greating people from time to time. Also Joeseph the host of open mic night is welcoming to all. Just no drama please, this is a family friendly environment.
The Creekside Cabaret is amazing! Awesome food, wonderful atmosphere, and friendly hosts. Karl, Marie, Chef Mike, and the Cabaret crew pulled out all stops to make a special event for OceansAlaska and our guests. The Cabaret is a great place to dine, meet, or hold special events. We are so thankful to have this wonderful restaurant in our community, a big thank you for hosting!
Had a fantastic time with friends. Rocking good band, terrific staff, good food and drinks.
I really enjoyed it! Will definitely visit again while here. Very friendly environment. Good food, nice drinks, great entertainment!
Great staff, wonderful local music, and delicious food. Owners Karl and Maria are your friendly and gracious hosts.
Great atmosphere, great food!
Fun jazzy atmosphere with local flavor, good food and drinks. Live music and open mic nites.
I have been here for open mic night a few times and I love it each time. Great way to see local talent while having a nice meal. Today I got the rib eye steak. It was perfect. If you are a tourist and want to see how the locals live Creek Street Cabaret is the place to go.
The atmosphere is great, very welcoming. The Jazz Cabaret has the biggest stage of all of Ketchikans bars and holds a variety of weekly performances and activities. Great music and people. The owners are fabulous. The bar is priced well and restaurant has phenomenal food from Chef Mike as well as daily baked goods from Baker Hughes. 10/10 would recommend
Spencer was so pleasant to speak too.Best burger I have ever had !!!!!
The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.
We heard a lot about this place when we visited Ketchikan upon arriving so we decided to give it a try. Not exactly sure what we were expecting, but live music sounded like a good idea.Upon arriving and paying a cover charge, my wife and I sat at a table and waited about 10 minutes until a server approached us for drinks. He took out his pad and I ordered a craft beer and a cola for my wife. The server then asked me for my credit card so he could open a tab. I told him that a tab would not be necessary since I was not a drinker and one beer would do it.His demeanor changed and he appeared bothered by my reluctance to be a drunk. He left us and did not return for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. At that point I figured that we were not going to be served so we got up and left. No biggie really since the music was not what had been described to us anyway. I think that this watering hole is for locals with a certain level of expectations in a small community with few options for this type of entertainment.
Another great burger! Fast friendly service. Here for lunch
Perfect place to come & just be yourself. Such an inviting atmosphere & great talent
We went here on a date for our 6 year wedding anniversary, and had no desire to be anywhere else! The vibe of this place was great, especially with the pianist. I strongly recommend the gator- we tried the tacos and they were fabulous. I also highly recommend their Chefs Signature Smoky Burger and fries, as well as their spicy chocolate ice cream. My husband and I both managed to clear our plates, simply because everything was so good. It was a lovely time!
Always a treat to endulge in their Cajun Cuisine 💚
Food was good! Service was good! Well eat here again!
What a cozy atmosphere. Great performances by talented people!
Love this place! The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff are so kind/friendly and the food is unreal (we had the jerk chicken and vegan curry...both amazing and spicy)! And the live jazz there was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this place more...we will be back!
Compass Rose - a 4 sister band (14,15,16 & 18 years oldwere nothing short of amazing!
What a fantastic place for live music and family fun. Theres not a better venue in all of SE Alaska!
Good food, Beer and live music! The musicians from the Celebrity Solstice stopped in to jam. Awesome! Plus the Hammond B3 organ from Layla is here.
Been twice now, and both times have been a lot of fun. Have not seen live music, yet, but will soon!
Stopped here for a quick beer on way back to cruise ship. A good selection including local beers on tap. Had to get back to ship so it was one-and-done. Oh, good live music too. A cool place to stop for a drink.
Such a great atmosphere for gathering with the locals for amazing music and refreshing drinks. Always something going on at the Caberet!
The vibes drew us in and made us feel at home. Good music, friendly staff and the customers eventually behave like weve known each other for years. A return visit is a must.
This is quite possibly the best little bar I’ve ever been to! Rachel begins the bar is the cutest and sweetest person ever. So proud of her bar and the beverages she turns out. Asked about the Bloody Mary, and she said: “I make the best Bloody Mary in town!” And she was NOT lying! It has a special infused vodka they make in house and the most amazing ambiance you can imagine. It’s an absolute must see if you’re in the area, and ask for Rachel because she is an absolute joy!!!
So happy to have been introduced to this eclectic and welcoming space.
Local and traveling musicians jamming. Local draughts. Solid cocktails. Friendly service. What more can you ask for? Amazing place for both locals and tourists.
Laid back fun! You must stop in and ask for Rocky! She is amazing!
Loved this place! Good jazz, service and rum coffee with even a cool dog!
Live music reasonable drinks lot of fun.
Cozy. Very rustic feeling and the band is absolutely great. The bartender Rachel is amazing and the local beer is awesome!
Best bloody in Ketchikan. Local beer, great service, and live jazz. Awesome place
Great live music, lots of local characters and a super friendly staff. Got to pet the bartenders dog as the kitchen wasnt open which made me really happy!
My husband, myself and our friends found this fun, friendly place to grab some drinks and listen to live music as we started exploring Ketchikan. Just a short walk from the cruise ship dock, the drinks were great and the company better! We got lucky and got to listen to Dave Rubin formerly of the band Tattoo who played alongside the Grateful Dead in Oregon in the 80’s - he’s also quite the artist, a sculptor to be exact.
A large mainly wooden room. Good choice of beers if a tad expensive. There was some live music of a sort but it was rather unharmonious and not needed at 11.30 in the morning.
Lucky find! Drawn in by the great jazz while searching for spruce tips beer after a day of touring Ketchikan. Found it and a super friendly bartender. Shout out to Rachel and her super dog Bruce Wayne who made our day.
The bartender there for the Billy Joel tribute Saturday handled the room really well. Great experience everytime I go in.
Wow! Heard the music and stopped in. Incredible music with locals Kim and ship talent as well. Make this a stop on your cruise. You will not regret this. Say hi to Rachel, shes the best!
Chillest place in town 👌🏻 live jazz, full bar, friendly staff, what more can you ask for? The musicians are incredible (dont forget to tip!and the atmosphere is relaxed. 10/10 would rather spend my night here than at a loud crowded bar that only plays spotify
Great place to enjoy live music and share a good time with friends. This place is very popular with the locals. Smoke free, lively, fun and friendly atmosphere. Maria does a great job taking care of the people and her husband is one of the talented musicians that jam @KTNCabaret. Everyone is treated like family. Well worth repeated visits. Be on the on the lookout for the posters announcing upcoming events or follow them on Facebook as HOURS VARY. Best jazz in town. Thumbs way up! 👍
