The Creamery Bar - Gastropub in Sionainn, Ireland
Very tasty food in a nice location. Prices were reasonable.
Had spice box dressed fries 🍟 excellent and only 5 euros. Also chilli fries excellent. Very enjoyable.
Lovely food. Staff very welcoming
it was ok nothing to brag about for the price it was acceptable.
Very cool ambiance. It’s in an old factory and some of the parts are still there. Along with the normal Irish paraphernalia. Food was pretty good as well as the pints. There is a full bar. The service was very nice, but sometimes slow. Just went for lunch and I shouldn’t jump to conclusions, but I don’t see it is as ever being a very rowdy place. Quiet and the tables can feel a little close to each other. I would go back though and would recommend to anyone in the area.
We were excited to come here because of the gluten free options, but left disappointed and still hungry after four entrees. Everything was really bland, vegetables were obviously frozen and warmed to mush.
T bone steak is top of the range very very tasty
I got a beef burger and a Guinness. The burger tasted like store bought frozen patties and the bread was falling apart. The Guinness was creamy and tasted great.Maybe just come for drinks and skip the food.
Brilliant food lovely staff
Great service, food is good for the price range.
Great bar and restaurant with friendly staff and great atmosphere!
Great food and great service good value
Amazing food and quiet reasonable
Lovely dinner friendly staff ...will call again when passing.
Good value for your money lovely food
Got a chicken burger and chips it was very nice we had to wait over half hour for it
Great food and great staff.
Great food lovely staff
Saturday night 7pm had dinner, staff lovely and food was good. But it was dead, Limerick fest was on so maybe that had a bearing on the lack of people.
Excellent food, service and value for money
They were out of most of the food by 7pm on a Saturday. The lady didnt know what they had on tap. They were so late bringing our desserts we had to cancel it.The food was mediocre and bland at best.
Never again. This was really disappointing. I really expected better from this restaurant but maybe due to its location in Bunratty the standards may have dropped because they know they will have footfall in the door with tourists regardless.I used to be a chef so I know a bad chef when I see what they serve on a plate and this chef is either not a qualified chef or has seriously fallen out of love with cooking and if this is being overlooked by management then they have a lot to answer for.My potatoes were so dry and obviously sitting in the kitchen for hours because even looking at the pictures you would think it was cauliflower on the plate and to taste them can only be described as tasting chalk. My veg was overcooked and really soft and the bacon must have been heated in a microwave because it was roasting for a few minutes then tasting like something that had been sitting out all day.My wife got served reheated chips and there is no way they can say otherwise. The only thing they got right here are the waitresses they had working there today and I even felt bad communicating about the potatoes and chips because they were so friendly and if this is the standard of the food they have to serve, then I wouldnt be surprised if they were afraid to relay my thoughts.Brutal cook/chef but friendly waitresses.
Food is excellent and staff are very welcome 😁
Manager is an absolute pig. I made a complaint about the fish tasting like it had previously been frozen and she told me if I didnt like it, to leave. I pity the staff that work for that place. If I was working there, I would be miserable. I applaud anyone who puts up with the owners
Excellent food, fast and friendly service. Loved the place.Highly recommended
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly , and the coors was like an angel dancing on my tongue ( would highly recommend it 😀 👌 )
Food was good but the manners of one staff member was unbelievable. I had a three year old who climbed on a chair across from us and the way this man acted like he hated kids never will return again
Great food very friendly staff and a very clean premises. Well worth a visit
Lovely food, great service & adhered strictly to all guidelines, which we admired.
Restaurant is in a great location in the heart of bunratty. Lots of free parking. Good pint of Guinness and also a decent pint of coors. Decent bar food menu. Quality of food lets it down. They used cheap frozen chips. Good chicken burger and ok fried battered cod. Staff not hugely interested on being there.
Fantastic as always, very friendly and pleasant environment. Food was great, very reasonably priced and plenty of it. Staff where great and a lovely warm greeting when you arrive. Highly recommend for quick lunches or a lovely get together for an evening with friends and family.
Fabulous meal, and covid precautions second to none. Very reassuring. Lovely young staff - polite and efficient. Highly recommend this place.
needs to improve, no gin glasses for gin ,no mint sauce for lamb, happy to take the money of people passing through. will not be returning .much better places to eat & drink near by .
We had a lovely lunch here last Friday the 24th. Staff were lovely and the place was very busy. Great to see places busy again. Would totally recommend a visit. Food is excellent.
Had a lovely meal here on Saturday evening...It was fantastic...Staff are very friendly too...
Disappointed at the quality here today (August 12thas the food used to be really good. Two of our party had burgers. The buns were thick and squishy, hard to chew as they stuck to the teeth. The beef was not the high quality, tasty burger meat that used to be served here. Service was good, seating is nice, there was nothing really wrong with the food, but it just wasnt as good as expected.
Great service, very official looking after customers, making sure all looked after during the pandemic.Food was amazing, drink was great, very reasonable prices, highly recommended
Disappointing to say the least.Went for a birthday celebration and kind of regretted it. We arrived as a family of 5 adults and my 6 year old nephew. To be told there was no table as we only booked 5 adults, I did not think that a “family gastropub” would have a problem with a child joining us for dinner! But they did have a big problem with it! I asked could we sit at the table for 5 and add an extra chair? He said No, there was people sitting at that table??? I was like our table? Yes! So he “offered” to sit us at 2 tables at the opposite end of the pub, I tried explaining again that no, this is a BIRTHDAY we want to sit near or together. So after 30 minutes of talking/ waiting/ negotiating the people sitting at our table, left. Food on the other hand was v basic, like any other chipper/ pub food. I got fish that was a bit oily, not great. The gravy the others got was good. Cheap prices for cheap food and cheap service. I had handed in the birthday cake and asked him if he had any candles, he said he would look. But, he NEVER brought out the cake. He NEVER explained or offered an explanation. He then proceeded to bring out the cut slices of cake. The waiter had cut up the birthday cake in the kitchen himself. Offering no apologies when asked about why he cut up the cake himself. This restaurant had 1 job and failed to do it.This waiter had 1 job, and he failed to do it.
Staff pleasant.ordered Buffalo wings Dried out and no sauce and side salad look tired. My wife had chowder and was happy with serving. I ordered rib eye and veg rib eye cooked to perfection but veg very poor. My wife had chicken curry breast. I suggest that chicken curry breast be diced and not served full breast. Serve chicken separately and rice separately and supply separate plate. Chicken curry sauce taste liked not homemade. Didnt expect the price paid it was more expensive that hotel we were currently staying in. Unfortunately I wont be back.
My wife ordered Lasagne and I had Beef Burgers both homemade and delicious, however, and this us why only a 4 star, the Apple pie was lovely but the " custard" was only a look a like sauce shame. Great service lovely historic building would definitely go again.
Guinness 5* - one of the best my partner has had.Service 3* - the gentlemen who initially greeted us was lovely, however the young lady who looked after us after that must have been having a bad day as she could barely look at us and didnt speak except to ask us what we wanted. It was really quite uncomfortable and awkward.Food 1* - the chicken wings were tasteless and dry, they had none of the buffalo sauce as described on the menu, the burger patties were horrifically overcooked and dry (my partner couldnt bring himself to finish it and he eats anything), and the lasagne was clearly microwaved as the cheese was completely liquid and it was like lava. On a positive, the chips were nice.We had chose to visit as it looked stunning, the reviews were great and our hotel recommended it for Sunday Dinner, so I am assuming that our experience was unfortunately the exception to the rule.
Food was lovely and got us a table very fast at a very busy time of the day
Great place to eat! Right across from Bunratty Castle with plenty of parking and shops next door. Excellent food, great service and good prices!
Brilliant food. Great service. A great place to stop off and relax. Well done everyone.
Great little pub off the main road. Friendly staff and delicious Irish coffee near the birthplace of Irish coffee in Shannon.
Really lovely place. We swung in for a pint after visiting Bunratty, interesting decor ( wall covered in American police badges! And very nice people. :)
Fast and friendly staff, very good food, great place! Thank you :)
Amazing place to get tasty food and dribks with very friendly staff
The atmosphere and service is really good. the food portion will fill you up for a week which is a good thing. however one dish on the menu i would like creamery to reconsider the presentation skills as well as the consempt behind it (shown in the picture below). it is the shrimp atlantic prawns. its too cold amd blend to eat. but overall i recommend. check the seafood chowder. 😉
Very nice fish and chips. Best Guinness of the trip I think. Better than at the castle. Our barman Colin was very nice and full of good information about Guinness and the history of Ireland in general. He definitely made the experience better.
