The China Coast Bar + Grill 華岸酒吧扒房 in Hong Kong

Very busy but food was great. Let down by staff attitude.

Had to kill 18hrs connection. Had a good walk walk around. This seemed the best place in the vicinity. Was okay.

Hours are not right. Kitchen closes waaaaay earlier.

It serves semi-buffet with large variety of appetizer, and its main course is also good, as well as the dessert (it serves blueberry cheese cake on the day I visit). Everything is good.

Really expensive, poor service, you wouldnt go here if there was any choice!

Horrible service - avoid at all cost

Wish I’d read the other reviews before coming to this place. Staying at the Regal, I was starving after a long flight and it was late so didn’t want to go far. When I arrived, I couldn’t find a member of staff to acknowledge me or show me to a table for dinner. The food is very overpriced for the (lowquality. The menu stated that potatoes were included with my meal but none were on my plate when serve. I asked one of the staff about it who tried to convince me that the pumpkin was the potato! I’m British - I know what potatoes are! Bottom line - go somewhere else!

Not recommended. Bad service, overpriced food and drinks. Big sign outside to watch the football game, so I come in 5 minutes after the game starts, theres one TV that plays the game. Severer doesnt register my request to watch the game, insisting I sit at some table at the back not able to see the screen. I sit down by the bar to watch and order drinks. Sound was muted and my first drink took over 15mins to come. Restaurant started filling up as the game goes on, and I saw a multiple groups lose their patience and take their business elsewhere. The staff turned down orders even when customers walked up to the bar to ask for service, staff said they would come to the table, but it took over another 15mins. Service is not polite, kitchen is not quick and menu is over priced. Lastly the manager broke down and yelled at floor staff.

Relatively quiet venue for business lunch at Hong Kong Airport.

Late night staff rude. Asked if kitchen was open, said yes sat down waited on him to find closed. Just 1am with published 2am closing time. Bottomline they are just not friendly or customer service orientated.

Menu not as shown on website, aggressive service, poor food, slow food times, very expensive compared to normal HK comparative places, food arrived not as described on menu and waiter lied to me about it..... unless you are captive here you would choose somewhere else....Shame because I used to really love this place. Will not be going back.

The worst customer service ever. I’m frequently flying through HK and stay at the Regal hotel. Usually I eat outside. Today, as I landed late at night, I decided to try the in-house resturant. Big mistake. The waiter had the worst attitude with no reason. I won’t eat there again nor recommend to other. Avoid.

Just a walking distance from the Hong Kong International airport, it’s the Regal Airport Hotel. There are several bars and restaurant ranged from Asian cuisine to western cuisine for people to choose from. We went one level down the lobby and seated in a cozy bar- The China Coast Bar+grill.>Chicken Strips served with honey mustard sauce (HKD138)The choices on the snack menu are tempting, we’ve ordered the chicken strips although still feeling stuffed from lunch. I like the thin batter on the fried chicken tender, juicy, easy to chew, the flavor was enhanced with a dip of honey mustard sauce. It has some fresh salad veggie drizzled with balsamic vinegar on the side.>Fruit PunchI was the only one working night shift so alcoholic drinks was not my option. I like the fruity taste and the adequate amount of syrup.>Hoegaarden>Craft beer- Gwei•LoYou’ve got to try this local brew.

I hope you read this review before stepping foot in here. I wasn’t as smart after a long flight... Water tasted like it had Lysol in it. Paid a premium price for very low quality food. Left hungry after spending $60 there, had to go to Mc Donald’s to get something edible to eat before my next flight.

Nice hotel, food is good although its rather on the expensive side. Rooms are well equipped, would be great if there was a bar fridge in room.

Extensive beer list and the food is good, but its WAY overpriced. Even for a Honk Kong hotel. 10 USD for a Tsing Tao? Jeez.

We stayed one night at the Regal Airport Hotel near HKG and had a late night stop at The China Coast Bar + Grill, one of several restaurants and eateries located on the hotel grounds. Opening hours 12pm to 2am (Mon - Friand 3pm to 2.30am (Sat & Sun).This is an American style bar that is presently fully decked out for World Cup 2020 decor. Nice! There are a fair number of traditional small tables for groups of 2-4 set up in front of two large TV screens, perfect for watching matches. Youll also find a bar with L shaped section and stool seating as well as a fair-sized dining area in the back if you prefer more traditional restaurant style seating. Overall, pretty good ambience at the China Coast Bad + Grill.Service is plentiful, attentive and polite. Staff speak English just fine. Menu is something of a cross between an American Bar and Steakhouse a nice range of dishes, prices are quite high even by airport restaurant standards.On the evening we had a bowl of French Onion shop that wasnt bad. Not sure of the cheese variety melted on top, tasted a bit generic but the soup was a fair showing.We also tried the Angus burger prepared medium that was better than expected. Burger was surprisingly very juicy, especially for medium, so get ready for messy hands. Beef had a nice flavour, toppings were fresh and cheese tasted fine. Served with basket of fries, this was a sizeable and pretty good burger.They have a large beer list but you wont find it at your table. You have to walk up to the bar to see the chalkboard with long list of hand-written foreign imports. Table menus simply show a list of the standard beer varieties that you find in any bar or pub. Enjoyed the burger with a pint of Guinness. Found the glass of chardonnay served to taste just fine.Overall, not a bad showing for a Regal Hotel restaurant. Prices are quite high for the quality of the food but this is the airport so those who dine here shouldnt really be surprised.
