The Central Bar in Hlatikulu

Wetherspoons is one of my fave spot. For me is a great place to go, it offers great value on both food and drink and it really is hard to beat on price. Obviously the quality is compared to the prices but the atmosphere is nice.It feels kinda like home knowing that there is a Wetherspoons pretty much in every city. It’s always a decent place to start your night with a few cheaper drinks and every where I travel too I always try and find the Wetherspoons pubs.This one in Shepherds Bush got a good variety of drinks on offer.I had a chicken burger with chips and a pint of Guinness for £9.85.I mean its better than Mcdonald andnsurely the quality is better!Ah, almost forgot, they have nice decorations for Halloween too, classics, Britis snacks and you can pay in cash or card. Money for value? Unbeatable!

Its okay. I like using the app to order food and drinks. One waiter hated it there, one waiter was having a great time!Food is just okay. I feel like the food gets more expensive without getting better at Spoons!

Decent Wetherspoons pub located right across from Shepherds Bush underground and Overground stations.Located upstairs in the W12 mall it can get busy and using the app helps when the que is long but most times you can walk to the bar for service.

Good customer service, great price for food and drinks,and excellent atmosphere.

If you know Wetherspoon pubs, you will know what to expect. What makes this one maybe a cut above are the views by from the windows, and it’s in a great location.

Great Spoons this...Overlooking the Green and integrated into the shopping district. Very similar to The Oyster Rooms at Fulham.Local history focus on White City and BBC.....

Had lunch with my colleagues and the food was tasty, quick service and nice environment. Will go again.

Not returning here again. Guy at the bar was just unfriendly and overly casual. Just came off cold and disinterested. Not sure why he was there as he had no interest in his job. The knife was dirty but there were no staff around so I left it. The porridge was dry and soggy.

Been to plenty of pubs my life but I’ve never seen a barman as rude as the short, tubby bald man here.Rude to customers and when I called him out he said he didn’t care. This review was longer but they’ve deleted it. Reposting it because I feel that strongly. Rude to his staff as well. Quite frankly it was embarrassing for everyone concerned. Get him sacked, he’s ruining what would otherwise would be a cracking spoons.

It felt like it was every staff members first day on the job.Genuinely perplexed that it took 3 members of staff and 10 minutes to decide whether or not to honour a drinks deal that had an expiry date on the menu for the end of the month.This was after waiting ages to get served despite there being only a few other people at the bar, who arrived later than we did.The drinks were fine and well priced; standard fanfare for a spoons.

Always good quality, standard and dont disappoint. The only comme t is- needed to ask for peppercorn sauce as well as a steak knife to go with steak.

Food and drink very tasty and reasonable. Although I quickly learned to stay neutral and not try to be friendly with anyone.

Quick service, excellent prices and friendly staff. Tables couldve been cleaned more regularly as the only ones available were dirty.

Lovely pub, animated, many people. I can understand why, their prices are more decent. You could have a pint of beer even for £ 1.49, while other pubs you would need minimum £6.50.

Quite strategic place because close to the tube station and bus stop. Nice and delicious foods for affordable prices but the cleaning service is super slow.

Good location in West London just opposite of Shepherds Bush Station , food is nice, drink not too expensive, service decent

Friendly staff, nice food (although missing Gammon on the mixed grill a few times), lots of space. The atmosphere feels like what youd expect from a pup. A nice Spoons. Would recommend.

Quite busy at times but the service was very efficient and the food was good value for money. One of the better Spoons

Watch your bags in there. I went to get a refill for my cup of tea & came back to see my bag was gone. A lady thief was so fast she grabbed it & left the pub. I was only gone one minute....

I always go to the restaurant and I love it, but the other day I was waiting for my food for 45 minutes, they did not bring it to me, I spoke to the staff and they did not give me a solution, I wanted to make a claim through the page and the Shepherds Bush branch does not appear, something that I did not consume was deducted from my card and I had to leave.

I do not want to be partisan but one lady or gentleman does not like men very much! showed her private opinion to the client! i would not recommend this pub less food on plate translates that it ran out but you pay the price yourself

Their medium rare steak is raw like a chteaubriand. Some days they dont serve food at all because the kitchen is busy with orders from town, but they fail to inform at the entrance. Some members of the staff seem to ignore much about their job and the needed attitude towards customers.

Custemer service is 0, the manager he he looks like he don’t want to be there at all. No clear communication or team work. Very disappointed.

Had to send 1st breakfast back as the hash browns were almost frozen together, the second breakfast was the best Ive had, if they done it 1st it would have been great.

Great bar, great service, very forgiving managers for somewhere that gets so busy. I frequent here and will always frequent here due to the friendliness of the staff. Good food, drinks cheaper than other places and smiley faces.

Dont expect this bar to be super clean or super posh :-If youre too picky or impatient - dont go there.But what we all LOVE about Wetherspoon bars, and this one in particular is traditional, reasonably priced and delicious food, any kind of drinks, polite and helpful staff, chill and happy crowd, online orders & table service, relaxed atmosphere, good vibe.Whether youre a family, a couple, group of friends or a single person, whod love to have a pint after work, this place is for you!

Couldnt understand why this fimale manager at Central bar , shepherd bush.would be so rude &bossy toward customers.shouting order& talking down to the customers,as though we all are dumb& deaf.To make it worst,she refused to give her name when we said ,we will complain to headoffice.Till now she hasnt improved her attitude toward JD Wetherspoon customers,at Central Bar.The area manager should do some invistigations regarding this nasty incharged person.

Here for Sunderland playoff game staying round the corner this was a nice short walk central to Shepherds Bush Nice staff very friendly prices usual Wetherspoons, place was tidy fairly busy but still waiting times were ok, we had food that came quickly was hot and tasted nice for a reasonable price. Would definitely come again if I was in the area.

One of the nicest wetherspoons Ive been to and that has a lot to do with the staff here.They are polite, friendly, welcoming and seems the genuinely want the customer to have a satisfying experience. The food even taste better here than other Wetherspoons; or is that just my imagination 🤷🏿‍♀️

We waited 30 mins for a breakfast..then when my husbands arrived it was stone cold. He sent it back and we are still waiting , 25 mins later, for a replacement. Staff were helpful at first then were complacent. Not good enough!!

Central venue with amazing prices and great location. The red Malbak at £11 a bottle was great value and tasted good. I tried their premium steak. The sides and jacket potato was fantastic, but the steak was a let down. Medium was very rare and the steak was extremely tough to cut or eat. Not enjoyable, had to leave most of it on the plate, but finished the sides, which was a meal in itself! Still walked out happy!

Otávio Tonetto. Firstly, there was an unforeseen event where I couldnt be there but in my place there were 2 managers to interview you but you werent able to communicate in English with them. In the job ad it is clear that it is necessary to have at least basic English to establish the minimum communication in which you have failed. Theres no need to lie that youve waited for hours, its not true. As soon as you cannot establish the minimum of communication in English has already been waived. Not to mention you were very rude to me on Whatsapp and I just replied that it was clear in the job ad that you need to speak English and you clearly lied to me. Review your concepts maturely and there is no need to take revenge by writing a negative review. Good luck.

20220520fri3pm Mixed Grill with sausage&chips Special on piece of paper at bar £4.99 plus drink.**Had a mixed grill with a pint last night, a not so busy late evening.Asked why my meal was cheaper than expected, around £8.50? instead of £9.50? and was told its Tuesday Evening and its cheaper.Lovelyjubly.

An awesome bar where there is big and jolly crowd, but still one would find table to sit. Reasonable price for food and drinks. Nice and cheerful staff. A day well spent there with my cousin.

Absolutely bad and rude staff at the till, never ever stepping foot at this place again. Place was noisy and staff dont even care to repeat what they said if I asked.At the entrance they have pamplets for dinner offers, at till they say not available, what the point keeping so many pamplets.And staff has no idea which dishes are available in the kitchen and wouldnt care to leave till to go to kicthen and ask.

Went here for an afternoon of drinks before a show over the road. Nice and open location in the top floor of a shopping centre with full length windows across the whole of the bar so you can look outside at the world going by. One of the nicer Wetherspoons that I have been to

It was s busy Saturday afternoon and surprisingly managed to get a large table for our group. Another surprise was our waiter was deaf so we could communicate. Nice to know there is somewhere supporting the deaf

Worst ever Wetherspoon experience. Slow, moody staff made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Two pints have never taken so long to pour. We order food and drinks a little while later through the app and the drinks arrive nearly 10 minutes before the food. We ask for fresh ones and get nothing but attitude from the staff. Food arrived and was horrific to put it mildly. Chips were underdone, chicken was dry, sausage was disgusting. Could not have had a worse experience. Just wish I hadn’t stepped foot in this place.

Went in on a match day , refusing away fans ,but did not have colours on or an attitude like some people have, so got in served ,so cheap beer from 99p a pint for a nice IPA

Fantastic place where to have lunch or dinner... the food is extremely well prepared, good quality and great service. I am very satisfied and I strongly recommend this pub.The staff is amazing, super organised. Well done!!!

No Salt, terrible service and had my food waiting half an hour. Asian guy tells me he saw my food and he will be with me, which means if was finished and decided to leave it there. This chain does need to be put out of existence, but in the mean time, the service equals my respect. Dont come here - Chavs galore!

Usual weatherspoons only kitchen prepared food I think a bit below other places, maybe we just were unlucky. We had halloumi chips, which were deliciously done, came back few hours later and ordered the same only came very thin cut and fried too much nearly burned, nachos was tasteless, so as for food will not go back there

Bit run down but cosy. Staff didnt allow a group of 8 people to stay even though they offered to be split up in groups. I thought thy were too estrict following the rules. It was rather odd as staff are helpful and nice.

As a solo traveler..this place is PERFECT. If you download their app. You can order whatever you like, pay online and get it at your table. Super easy!! The beer and drinks are fearly cheap and they have many different beers on tap!! The food may not look wow..but the taste. 🎉👏👍 Great place!! Deffenetly one of my faves places now! 👍👍 cheap and nice 😊
